Trouble In Paradise

When you look at the world it is a paradise compared with the planets that surround us. But it is getting less and less when you consider the world and all its problems. People are protesting around the world for they want a good government. We also have wars with terrorists who want to make the world their own. They wish to rule countries with their own savagery like Islamic State, and who would want that?

In many nations, the western ones in particular, people couldn’t care less about the savagery that is taking over in other countries. Hunger and disease are mounting in places like Africa and the Middle East, but who cares as it does not effect us in the western nations. It is time everyone worked together to stop this, and by that I mean the people, and the governments.

We are turning our world into a disaster zone by the petty bickering of governments and the rampant destruction caused by terrorists. Millions of people in Africa are on the verge of death by a shortage of food as the temperature rises around the world. The temperatures around the world are rising as we pollute the atmosphere, and huge parts of countries around the world are not able to grow crops to feed the people.

When I was young the world lived in peace for the greater part, but today we see wars going on around the world and millions starving through lack of food. Some nations are helping the poor but it is not enough. We have multi-billionaires who hide their money in off-shore bank accounts, but they do nothing to help the starving people of African nations and around the world. They have so much money that they couldn’t spend it in their lifetime. It is time these people made use of their ill-gotten gains by helping others.

The pollution of our atmosphere is becoming more and more as we drive around in vehicles that will eventually see the end of mankind on this planet.

I have lived for 75 years and I have seen the atmosphere getting so clogged with dangerous gases from cars and diesel engines. More and more people are suffering from diseases caused by this pollution, and unless something is done about it we will all be wearing gas masks when we go outside. It is time for the governments of the world to do something about it.

Currently there are plans to make electric cars the norm, but this will take years and years as people will not want to get rid of their cars and buy electric vehicles for they are too expensive. What will happen when we all drive around in electric cars?

There will be a shortage of electricity, and power stations will not be able to keep up with the demand. It is an impossible situation unless we start building more and more power stations to provide the demand. What we don’t know is the contamination of the atmosphere when everyone starts driving electric cars. Even if these cars do not destroy the atmosphere it will take years and years for the atmospheric contamination to dissipate.

You may think this is all a load of bunkum, but in years to come you will see that it is true as the number of humans of this planet get less and less. People are already dying from atmospheric contamination like cancer, but if we do not do something about it, it will get worse.

When I was young people lived to a ripe old age, but today, and at some time in the future the lifespan of people will get less and less. I am glad I am old, for I do not want to see the atmosphere so contaminated that it will be impossible to have a full life.

Our young people, and babies, will have a hard life ahead of them if we do not do something about the way we live now. But there again, maybe we will all cease to exist if a nuclear war breaks out.

A New Year Is Coming

Tonight we celebrate the beginning of a new year, but what will it bring us? I don’t think there will be much change in the world as the wars will continue, and demonstrations will be as prevalent as this year. People are dissatisfied with their governments and the rules they are making so we will see demonstrations all across the world.

Governments will not change their plans to satisfy the people they rule, and there are many people in all countries who will not accept this. We are sure to find trouble in the new year as the demonstrations and wars continue unabated.

The whole world is a mess except in a few countries where the people put up with the plans the governments make. The war against ISIL and other rebel groups is far from over and the war will continue, but for how long? Some Muslims want to rule the world and it will not stop unless they wiped out.

The United Nations has done nothing to fight terrorism since the Korean War, and they should get involved by sending troops to wipe out these terror groups. It is the only way the world will get to be peaceful again. The trouble is they sit on there fat asses and do nothing. I had hoped that the new leader of the United Nations would at least do something against these terrorists, but he has done nothing.

What with the atmospheric pollution and the wars all over the globe, we are heading for major wars between nations and the end of mankind on this planet.

We have to do something about it or we will see total destruction of our home planet. Countries have to come together and sort out their differences before the whole world goes mad.

Unfortunately this is not likely to happen as there are too many differences between countries. There have been attempts at making peace in the past but these have all come to nothing, for there is still fighting between countries. Demonstrations have sprung up in the last twenty years or so because people are dissatisfied with the way the governments rule their countries. A prime example is Venezuela that is ruled by President Maduro. In this country he rules with an iron fist, and there are constant demonstrations against him. Its the same in other countries.

Another thing we that could cause the end of humanity on this planet is the pollution levels in our atmosphere. There are well over a million cars and lorries on our roads and each of these are causing the pollution to get worse. When will it end?

Pretty soon all of humanity will be going around wearing masks when they venture outside, just as in some Chinese and Middle East cities. The pollution levels are rising yearly with all the cars and lorries on our roads. We have to something about it!

It is expected that electric cars will replace petrol and diesel engines by 2040, but that may be too late. By then the pollution will have risen to such a state that the air will be full of poisonous gases, and people will get cancer and not be able to live a long life. The current generation does not think about the fate of our children and what they will face in the future. We have to start thinking about the future of humanity on this planet, and what the future of our children will be.

It Makes Me Wonder

With all the things that are happening in the world today it makes me wonder how long mankind will survive on this planet. I hate writing such things but it is essential that we do something about what is happening in the world today. What with all the fighting that is going on around the world, and the steady rise in pollution it makes me sad to think how long mankind will last on this planet.

Ever since the sixties the world has gone stark raving mad. The pollution has escalated in the last seventy years and the weather has gone mad because of the way we have polluted the atmosphere. Wars have escalated over the last ten to fifteen years, and there is hardly a country that has not see terrorism because of the battles with Islam.

The battles against Islam have been going on for more than twenty years and we are nowhere near winning. Atrocities have been carried out by these people, and thousands have died and their cities wrecked.

If you look at the TV we can see whole cities destroyed by bombing and attacks by the Islamic State and those countries who are fighting them. How long must this go on? In Africa we have seen many terrorist groups who have attacked villages and towns to gain control.

The United Nations has done nothing about stopping these people, for they sit on their fat backsides and ‘condemn’ the attacks. They have not reacted in a positive way by getting a multinational force together and destroying these people. The United Nations has a responsibility to let the world live in peace and attack the terrorists by wiping them out.

We have seen thousands of people starving, mostly in Africa and Yemen because of the drought where it is impossible to grow crops because of the high temperatures and the lack of water. In many parts of the world we have enormous floods that are making families leave their homes, and it’s not over yet. Who knows what next year will bring?

Abnormal high temperatures will continue all over the world and who is to say that it will not happen. We are destroying our world with ever hastening speed, and most of it is down to the pollution that is blocking our atmosphere and not allowing the excessive heat to escape into space.

Vehicles are mostly to blame for the pollution that is blocking our atmosphere and we must do something about it. Many countries are investing in electric cars but that is not the answer, for the electric companies will be so overloaded they will not be able to keep up with the demand. Britain and many other countries are planning to get rid of diesel cars within the next thirty years, but what will replace them, electric cars? In my opinion electric cars are not the answer. We must develop a different source of energy for mankind. We must first do away with all the diesel cars on our roads, for this will reduce the contamination substantially. Eventually we must find a different system to both petrol and diesel cars and lorries if the contamination is to stop.

On now to the plight of the people in poor countries. People are starving to death in many lands, and the help is nowhere near enough. We have billionaires who hide their wealth in tax-free countries and islands, and they could do a lot to alleviate the troubles around the world. But do they care, all they think of is stashing their money in tax-free banks without a thought about where the world is headed. When you see the news about starving families in Africa for example they just do not care. I care, for if I was a billionaire I would help these poor people.

There is trouble all around the world and it looks like it will never stop, for we are headed for the annihilation of mankind if we continue in this way. What about our children? Are they going to see the world continue to suffer? What will their lives be like in thirty years time? If the air contamination continues they will all have to wear gas masks when they venture outside, for the air will be so contaminated that they will not last long, and people will live very short lives.

The world is overpopulated today, and if that continues we will see the annihilation of the human species.

What Is To Become Of Our World

All around the world we are seeing wars, civil disharmony and demonstrations. It makes me wonder what the future of our world will be in twenty or thirty years time. Will we see a global war and the destruction of mankind?

Russia and the West are at one another’s throats, we have ISIL targeting many countries across the world trying to gain control, and we have street rioting in many countries by young men who are out to cause trouble.

We have world pollution rising at a steady rate, where in some cities the air is so contaminated that the rise of lung disease and cancer is rapidly increasing. We have a grave shortage of water and food in some countries where the land is being turned into a desert. Africa is a good example.

Those of us that live in the West watch the news but don’t think of the consequences because it is far away from us. Our lives go on uninterrupted for we don’t care what happens in other countries.

Migrants from the continent of Africa have swarmed into Europe to escape the drought, hunger and wars that are taking place all across Africa. Most of them are Muslims, and eventually they will cause havoc in Europe as they try to take over and turn the whole continent into a Muslim state. You can think what you will, but this is a major possibility as more and more pour in.

Climate change has caused many countries to suffer, like the USA. When in the past have we seen hurricane after hurricane causing so much destruction? The hurricanes have unleashed massive destruction across the Caribbean and the flooding has caused more than a million people to leave their homes, even in the south of the United States. Thousands of people have been made homeless across the Caribbean islands, and houses have been destroyed right left and centre in the southern states of America. Flooding has consumed a huge portion of the southern United States and this has never happened on such a large scale before, and its all due to us poisoning our atmosphere with traffic and factories.

Climate change has even affected the north and south pole regions where ice is melting at an unbelievable rate. At the north pole the ice cover is a fraction of what it once was, and the south pole has seen huge swathes of ice islands broken off and floated out into the ocean.

Some European companies have said recently that they will be turning their factories into making electric cars, but with the whole of Europe driving these cars what is going to happen to the power grids? There are not enough power stations to satisfy the demand for an all electric car system across Europe. America is very slow in making this change but they will be hit with the same problem.

Civil unrest is spreading across many countries with demonstrations, and it often turns into violence. The people are unhappy with their governments because they do not do enough to house and help the poor. The rich get richer and the poor get no help at all. There are many billionaires in the world today, but they do not release some of their money to help the poor. It’s all down to greed, and that is the one disease that is very common today. Why do they not release money to help the poor and starving in Africa and across the world.

With climate change things will get much worse in the foreseeable future so we have to do something about it. There can be no doubt that if we change our ways it will take very many years for the Earth’s climate to get back to what it was when I was a boy. In the meantime things will get worse year on year until we stop polluting our climate’s atmosphere.

The Refugee Crisis

Currently there are 6 million people without enough food and water, and many nations are being overrun with refugees from various countries. Among these are Europe, African countries, Bangladesh, Myanmar and many other country’s in the Far East. In Africa nations are very slow in providing these people with food and water for them to survive, and we can see the death toll will be great.

The weather patterns have changed around the world to such an extent, due to Global Warming, that it is impossible to grow food in a great part of Africa and many other places around the world. You can see daily pictures and newsreels of people dying from a lack of food and water.

Many are Muslims escaping the terror of Islamic State terrorists who are spreading across the world. They kill indiscriminately anyone who gets in their way, and this includes fellow Muslims. They burn villages and towns and the sad thing is, no-one is doing much to stop them. For years we have had the ongoing war in Syria and the surrounding areas, but the progress is very slow. In areas such as the Far East the pace is much slower, and the governments do not make a determined effort to wipe these people out.

The fight against these Islamist’s has been going on for more than ten years, but if the United Nations had got together a multi-national force it would have been over in months.

Ever since the end of the Korean War the U.N. has sat on its backside and done nothing but talk talk talk. They have not made any concrete steps to tackle this global problem, but just ‘condemn’ with words the actions of Islamic State. It is not enough!

All across the world people are dying at the hands of these monsters who want to rule the world. They will never achieve this because so many countries are against them and Islam. Sadly it does not stop them from trying to gain the upper hand.

As I see it, this war will go on for a good many years if some positive action is not taken against them. Even in Europe we see people die through attacks by Muslim converts. You will notice that those Islamic State members who infiltrated Europe do not take part in the action themselves, but convert and train many Muslims who have lived here for years into carrying out these acts of terror.

Many Muslims living in Europe do not openly support Islamic State, but secretly they would like to see Europe as a Muslim nation. In comparison to their homeland they live in luxury in Europe, but if the whole of Europe suddenly came under the control of the Muslims, the standards of living would rapidly deteriorate until it became like the land they had come from. The Europeans would suffer hardship as never before and become a target for them.

Everyone knows of the Sharia Law, and we would see Europeans being hung from lampposts, stoned to death, or given a merciless beating, and this includes women. All Westerners would have to abide by Sharia Law, so would you like your wife to wear a burka?

I have to say that the world has become a hellhole in the last twenty or so years. Life was so much better when I was a child.

Time To Shut Blair Up!

Tony Blair – Still Trying To Sabotage Britain

Once again Tony Blair is in the news saying that he thinks Brexit should not happen. Its time to shut this man up and put him in prison for what he has done to this country.

No politician in history has damaged this country as much as he has. He took us into the Iraq War, and then proceeded to allow millions of Muslim people into the the country, and look what a mess it is.

He has been in the news today saying that we should forget Brexit. Mr Blair told Sky News’ Sophy Ridge: “I think it’s possible now that Brexit doesn’t happen. I think it’s absolutely necessary that it doesn’t happen because I think every day is bringing us fresh evidence that it’s doing us damage economically, certainly doing us damage politically.”

What he doesn’t realize is that once we are out from under the yoke of the E.U. we will be able to govern our own country without interference from Brussels. The E.U. has caused so much trouble in the U.K. that, for example. we cannot give killers a proper prison sentence anymore. They are released within three to four years and are back on the streets again.

Also, we cannot deport radicals that live among us because of the European Human Rights Council. Once we are free of this institution we will once again be able to make our own laws and deport these people.

The European Union has got so bogged down with every member looking out for their own interests that they have driven our country into the dirt. It is time for this to stop so that we can make our own laws and not be dictated to by Brussels.

There is no doubt that it will take years for Britain to get back to a normal life like we used to have.

Tony Blair said in an article published by his Institute for Global Change that “The European leaders, certainly from my discussions, are willing to consider changes to accommodate Britain, including around freedom of movement. The opposition to free movement of people, once you break it down, is much more nuanced. The French and Germans share some of the British worries, notably around immigration, and would compromise on freedom of movement.”

It is clear that Blair is trying to sabotage the Brexit movement and in my opinion he should not be allowed to enter any discussions on Brexit. He has done enough damage to this country during his twelve years in office and he should be arrested and charged with destroying the British culture and way of life.

Why Do We Not Deport Terrorists?

It is a sad indication of the Law these days that terrorists cannot be deported. This is mostly due to the Human Rights Council and European Laws.

I read a report today that states that at least forty convicted terrorists have not been deported because the Home Office is not doing its job, not forgetting the interference from the European Human Rights Council.

When these people are caught they are put in prison for three to four years and then released back into our society. We have these people living among us and who is to say they will not commit more atrocities after they are released.

Known Member Of al Qaeda

British Law has taken a nosedive from what it used to be fifty years ago and the situation is going to get far worse. If these people know they cannot be deported back to their own country the violence will never cease.

“In the court cases, lawyers – typically funded through legal aid – have successfully prevented foreign-born terror suspects from being sent back to their home countries. The scheme – in theory – allows the UK to expel terror suspects with guarantees they will not be mistreated or even tortured in their home country. But it appears to have broken down allowing terrorists to remain in the UK. The report is potentially embarrassing for the Prime Minister because it is expected to highlight the collapse of an initiative she pushed hard for while in the Home Office.”

It took Britain over ten years to deport the hate preachers Abu Qatada and Abu Hamsa, since then very few have been deported. Once the Police and MI5 have proven that they belong to a jihadist network they should be arrested and deported within weeks.

Professor Clive Walker, an international law expert said: “My research suggests there are more than 40 foreign terrorists convicted in the UK who have avoided deportation using the human rights act. The figure is much larger than was previously thought.”

Lord Carlile, Mr Anderson’s predecessor as the independent reviewer of terror legislation said, “My role in it was to compile a detailed description of the rules and regulations about deportation with assurances. I still think the Home Office wish to pursue DWA.”

Abu Qatada – Finally Deported

The DWA stands for Deportation With Assurance, which means that terrorists sent back to their own country will not be tortured or abused. This is one of the reasons it took so long to deport Abu Qatada.

It is a sad fact that there are many militants living among us and although MI5 and the Police know who many are, they cannot be arrested and deported because of British Laws and the European Laws. We must wait until someone dies.

Among those understood to have used the Human Rights Act to resist deportation include jihadists linked to the failed 21/7 bomb plot in 2005, who were jailed in the UK and subsequently released after serving their sentences. Another is an Algerian terrorist imprisoned for funding al-Qaeda training camps but since free after serving his sentence.

People Fleeing For Their Lives

There is huge pressure on the Anti-terror Police and the Security Services after the three recent terror attacks, for all perpetrators were known to the Police but they did nothing to remove them or prevent the attacks. “The attacks in recent months demonstrates the need to protect the public and that this should outweigh the human rights of terrorists,” said Lord Carlile. I have to admit that I fully agree with this statement.

Since these terror attacks have begun just twelve foreign born jihadists have been deported under DWA rules. By contrast, France has deported 120 terrorists back to their own country.

Theresa May has said recently that all known jihadists will be deported, but we will have to wait and see if this really happens.

Deportation Is The Only Solution

After the latest London attack there is only one way to solve this issue of extremism in Britain. I believe all Muslim extremists should be kicked out of the country. The Police and MI5 know of hundreds of Muslims who back extremism, and to wait until they commit an atrocity is disgraceful.

These people should all be rounded up and deported, no matter who they are, for that is the only way to make this country safe again. Currently the Police and MI5 know full well that the ISIS infiltrators are turning our ordinary Muslims into terrorists, and currently there is no end to it.

If a Muslim man is known to have links with terrorists he should be arrested and deported immediately for this is the only way to make our country safe again. We cannot accept attacks like London and just pretend it is nothing.

We have far too many Muslims in Great Britain thanks to that traitor Tony Blair who has brought all this upon us. If he had not allowed Muslims to enter Britain in their millions the country would still be safe.

Once the battle in Syria is over, most of the jihadi’s will try to get into Europe as refugees, and then we will see mass killings all across the continent. Their main weapon is the conversion of Muslims who have lived here for years, turning them into terrorists, and it will not stop.

Looking at photographs of Muslim ‘refugees’ entering Europe last year you can see that at least 80% are young men with no families. This must surely have been a warning to those controlling the immigration, but it did not. We have a minimum of 5,000 jihadi’s in Europe and the number is climbing steadily.

To sit back and wait for another atrocity is not the right way to deal with this problem. We have to root out these people and kick them out of Europe as fast as we can. Only then will Europe return to peace.

The jihadi problem in Europe is the number one concern of all people and we need positive action by governments to stop it. As the number of Muslims continues to rise year on year we are heading for the annihilation of our western culture. We need major action, and that means deporting all those who are a threat to our society. Europe cannot continue the way it has by ignoring the threat, and something positive must be done by all governments to keep our people safe.

Has The World Gone Completely Mad?

You can never watch the TV news without hearing of a disaster or murder somewhere. All over the world there is killing and maiming on a massive scale. In countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, the Far East, and Europe we have all seen deadly bombings and shootouts by terrorists.

I have come to the conclusion that the whole world is going mad, and you can lay a lot of the blame on Muslims. I am well aware that most of them living among us are peaceful, and all the blame must lie at the feet of the extremists. The sad thing is, they are turning our peaceful Muslims into killers evidenced by the number of attacks in Europe by those who have lived among us for some time.

The one sure way to deal with terrorists is cover their bodies in pig blood before executing them. Muslims have a fear of pigs because they will not go to heaven and get their 72 virgins if they are contaminated.

But we should not only blame the Muslims for the violence in our world, for we have very many ‘home-grown’ killers among us. It is impossible to read the newspapers or watch the TV news without there being a murder somewhere. Killing and maiming has become a part of our daily lives, and as time progresses it will get worse.

The law seems incapable of handling all this violence, for killers are released after two or three years from our prisons and they go on to do it again. It is a fact that murderers do not fear the justice system anymore because it has gone soft. This is due to our homegrown ‘Do-Gooders’ who think that two or three years in a nice comfortable prison will change their minds. How wrong they are!

If we did bring back the death penalty, the number of killers on our streets would shrink to almost zero, for they will know what is waiting for them – the hangman’s noose!

The governments of the world have to crack down hard on terrorists and criminals if this wave of violence is to stop. The softer we get on these people will only encourage them to continue their way of life, which is killing innocent people.

These ‘Do-Gooders’ are to blame for the outrageous number of deaths we see in a year, for they have made life very easy for convicts. Sentenced to ten years (not life) and back on the streets in three or four years. In prison they lead a life of luxury that many people would be envious of, and it is not enough to make them change their ways. When I was young prison was something to be feared by criminals, but now, its a very easy life with everything provided for their comfort. So there is no incentive to change your ways when your sentence is finished.

I am glad I am 74 years old and will not have to put up with the violence on our streets and the constant attacks from ISIS for much longer. During my lifetime I have seen the world go from peace to continuing violence, and I have to say that I am glad I am not five or twenty years old anymore. Who knows what the world will look like in ten or twenty years time? Your guess is as good as mine!

Where Are We Headed?

Its the beginning of a new year, and if you think about it you have to wonder where the world is headed. 2016 was not a good year for many people across the globe, although we in the West have not suffered quite so much. Other parts of the world have seen a great deal of suffering with wars, terrorism, hunger and catastrophic bad weather. So what makes you think that 2017 will be any better.

Already western nations have seen the worst weather in decades, with floods, heavy snowfall and drought that have taken their toll on the people. Only a couple of months ago in Spain where I live, we saw massive flooding on the Costa Del Sol that is totally unheard of. Many areas of Europe and America have seen catastrophic drought and flooding, but in other parts of the world they have suffered even more.

One of the major topics during 2016 has of course been terrorist activity in many lands, including Europe. The sad thing is, it is a long way from being over. Almost every day there is a new outbreak of violence in country after country, the latest being Ivory Coast.

Beijing Smog

Another major problem is pollution in many areas of the world. You only have to look at the news and see the pollution in cities like Beijing in China among others, and it has recently been reported that the pollution in London is already over the limit, and we are only seven days into the new year. So you must ask, where is the world headed?

Unless humanity starts taking some firm measures to stop these things from happening it will end in complete chaos for mankind. It seems that no-one is taking any firm measures to combat these problems, not the United Nations or governments across the world.

On the question of terrorism and Islamic State the whole world should unite and put these people out of business, next they should do something about combating the pollution that is choking the world. Unless the governments of the world come together and do something about these problems there is no future for mankind on the planet.

ISIS Killing Children

If the nations of the world do make a united effort to put an end to the Muslim uprising, and all the other terrorist organizations, the world could return to peace. If they would agree on laws for example limiting one car to every family we could rapidly reduce the number of vehicles on the road from the more than a billion vehicles that are causing all this pollution. They should also make a concerted effort to help the poorer nations by giving them food to save those dying of hunger and helping poorer nations to care for their people.

The world is currently divided into rich nations and poor nations, but no-one is doing anything to even out the balance. Power is the cornerstone of modern living, and many people will do whatever it takes to maintain their postion in the world. They do not spare a single thought for the poorer nations, or the poor people of even their own country. Today its all about me, me, me!

All I can say is that if things do not change rapidly, mankind will will disappear into history within a few decades.

Britain Overcrowded – Wait ‘Til 2030

The government has turned a blind eye to this massive increase of immigrants for they cannot be seen as racist, but what they do not see is that their policies will eventually give the whole country major problems at some time in the future. There can be little doubt that as the Muslims population grows they will start to take over the Parliament along with county and city councils. Once they do this there will be a steady drift to Islam across the country. It will be sad to see a once famous country, and a previous world leader, end up as a Muslim country.

But don’t think that Britain is the only country under threat, for the same thing will happen in Germany, France, Holland, Denmark and Sweden among others. The governments of these countries are also letting in a steady flow of Muslim immigrants who are supposed to be fleeing the Syrian war, but most of them are not from that country. It was proven that only a third of all the ‘refugees’ that came to Germany last year were actually from Syria, the most came from Pakistan, Afghanistan and many African countries.

The greater majority live off huge benefits due to the number of children they have, and are sucking the economy dry. As you would expect, those British people who are employed are all paying the cost of this with increased taxes etc. While many of our people are living on the most basic of incomes, these immigrants, especially those with large families, are raking in huge amounts of money every week.

There must come a time when this farce has to stop for the sake of the country. It is time for all the countries of Europe to round up all illegal immigrants and return them to their own countries. They also need to put a stop to the inflow of migrants for the sake of the continent otherwise we will all be in grave trouble. Once the war in Syria is ended they should all be sent back to their own country and not be given permanent residence.

This is the only way to stop the rot that has set in and prevent Europe from becoming a Muslim land in the future. God help us all.

Anis Amri – Terrorist

I find it incredible that the German authorities refused Anis Amri asylum over a year ago and still let him stay in the country. He was under surveillance for a long period, and yet he was still able to commit the atrocity of ramming civilians with a truck at a Christmas market, killing twelve people and injuring forty-eight more. The original driver of the truck, Lukasz Urban from Poland, was found stabbed and shot in the cab of the lorry.

The one question on many people’s minds must be, why was Amri not deported when his application failed.

There are many more cases like this all across Europe, and it seems to me that these people should be deported immediately when their asylum application fails. It would appear from reports that he could not be deported because he did not have valid identity papers, but surely that could have been solved by the immigration department much quicker.

It is said that he used a total of six aliases and three nationalities during his time in Germany so this would point to the fact that he was up to no good.

There can be little doubt that the responsibility for this entire disaster rests firmly with the authorities. If they had handled the situation correctly this would never have happened.

Angela Merkel is finding out now what a big mistake she made by opening the doors to Germany to so-called refugees, for the attacks on civilians have increased steadily since that happened, and they will continue to do so.

It is time for the European governments to take a tougher line in immigrants and vet them properly to identify those who do not come from Syria.

Looking at the photos from the last year of refugees it is plain to see that the great majority are young men without families, and that should have been a warning to the authorities. Letting in those with families would not have caused so many problems, but to allow hundreds of thousands of young single males to enter was asking for trouble. This has been made evident by the huge increase in rapes and assaults on women in Germany over the past year.

There can be little doubt that Merkel made the same mistake Britain’s Tony Blair did so many years ago. Our country is a travesty compared to what it was before he came to power, and we have no choice but to live with it. The same goes for Germany.

To try and stem the terrorist attacks and the rape of women, the German authorities need to round up all those who do not have families with them and send them back where they came from. This is the only way the country will be safe again.
