Would You Teach Your Child How To Cut Off A Thief’s Hand?

It beggars belief that any parent would teach a child how to cut off the hand of a thief, but the Saudi’s, according to reports, are currently doing just that in Muslim schools across Britain where six to eighteen year-olds are being taught Sharia Law.

Is This What Islam Wants?

Muslim children as young as six are being instructed that Jews are trying to take over the world (not that Islam isn’t of course), and the punishment for being a homosexual is death by stoning, death by burning or being thrown off a cliff (if there is one handy).

These, and many other facts, were brought to light by a BBC Panorama undercover reporter and the programme was aired last Monday (22/11/2010). Unfortunately I missed the programme but it doesn’t prevent me commenting on the facts brought to light.

Precise Instructions

Fourteen and fifteen year-olds were shown how to cut off the hand or foot (second offence) of a thief, complete with diagrams in a school textbook. Texts issued to very young children ask what happens when you die and you are not Muslim? The answer is; you are condemned to ‘hellfire’!

On Muslim websites such messages as:  “Our children are exposed to a culture that is in opposition to almost everything Islam stands for” and “We need to defend our children from the forces of evil” are found regularly.

All the schools which run the evening and weekend classes (some fifty of them) are run by the Saudi Students Clubs and Schools in the UK and Ireland Organization. Although the Saudi government when approached denied having anything to do with the schools, at least one of the buildings is owned by the Saudi government and it was revealed that they are controlled by the Saudi Cultural Bureau. So much for the Saudi government lies and denials!

The Big Question

What is taught at these schools is apparently part of the Saudi national curriculum, but the government is quoted as saying that these lessons, and the Qu’ran passages they are derived from, are taken out of context. I seem to have heard that quite often from Muslims! Perhaps the Saudi government would like to tell us the true context of this whole saga! Funny, I don’t hear a rush of volunteers!!!

Muslims will have us believe that theirs is a religion of peace, but the truth is far from it. Sharia Law and all its facets are without doubt as outdated as the dinosaur and have no place in a modern society be it Muslim or christian.

The Aftermath

Yet we hear daily that it is still being practised in most Islamic states. Social websites like YouTube have a whole crop of videos and photographs of beheadings and hangings etc, but Islam is a peaceful religion, at least that is what they will have us believe. There is only one word for that: Bullshit!!!!!

It seems to this bystander that all they are doing with this hateful rhetoric is grooming the next generation fanatics for the terrorist cause.

The sad thing is, nothing will ever change so long as these archaic practices are still being taught to the very young either in or out of context. How can any country or religion step into the twenty-first century by teaching children from the age of six such barbaric practices? To this ‘Infidel’ it does not seem that Islam wants to change!

Pushing Religious Freedom Over Its Limits!

The government should place an outright ban on all these hate-filled teachings and demonstrations in the country and accept no nonsense from these people. If they wish to demonstrate and preach hatred let them do it in their own country, not ours.

Having said that I wish to make it clear that I have no objection to Muslims, or any other race for that matter, living among us providing they respect our way of life and our laws.

A Clear Message!

Why do countries like Britain allow these fanatics to demonstrate in the streets carrying their placards advertising hate for the country that accepted them in good faith?

I shudder to think what the world will be like if Islam does finally reach its goal and rule the western world. I say ‘western’, for the simple fact I can never see them dominating China as they do here in the west.

Soon No Longer To Be Innocent

The British are renowned world-wide for their tolerance but there must be a limit, and in my mind we are long past it. The people of Britain must stand up to these fanatics and tell them: Live by our laws and accept our culture for what it is: OR LEAVE!

British Political Correctness Gone Mad – Again!

An Early Learning Centre Shop

Once again the English sickness of political correctness has surfaced in the most ludicrous of ways. It came to light today that outlets of the Early Learning Centre (ELC) had removed a pig from a farm set for children so as not to cause offence to Muslim and Jewish parents!

A Child's Toy - Such An Insult?

The play set for toddlers called Happyland Goosefeather Farm normally contains a cow, sheep, chicken, horse, dog and pig along with assorted farm buildings. The omission was discovered by parents buying the toy who found the pig was missing, even though a sty and appropriate sound affect was there.

One enterprising mother contacted the ELC asking why there was no pig. The reply got her to boiling point very quickly; “Previously the pig was part of the Goosefeather farm, however due to customer feedback and religious reasons this is no longer part of the farm.”

It would seem the company exports the farm toy to many other countries and they had negative feedback from certain ones (Islamic no doubt), so for this reason the pig was scrapped. Now, after many complaints from UK parents, they have decided to reinsert the pig and not sell to those countries that object to it.

That’s what they should have done in the first place!

As one parent put it; “If you don’t like the pig, don’t buy the set”.

The Offensive Animal

In the sixties and seventies, the age-old children’s nursery rhyme Ba Ba Black Sheep was banned for being ‘racist’ because it mentioned the dreaded word black, this was a time when racial relations between black immigrants and white folks were not at their best. Now, because we have so many Muslim immigrants we are going down the same path! How stupid can you get! Some righteous ‘holier than thou’ people have even voiced the opinion that Christmas should be banned because it ‘upsets the Muslims’.

A Man With A Job To Do - Can He?

It is my sincere desire to see Cameron and his government stop this insane phobia among certain members of the British public by laying down the law, and if necessary changing our laws to prohibit such stupidity.

The governments message to any immigrant who comes to live in Britain should be: If you don’t like our culture, go back where you came from.

Multi Culturalism - You Must Be Joking!

I know the British have a reputation for being ‘laid back’ but when the nation pampers to immigrants we do ourselves, our country, and our culture tremendous harm. These acts are carried out by narrow-minded people who are mesmerised by the fact that we have become a ‘multi-cultural’ society. That’s bullshit, for as Angla Merkel of Germany recently pointed out, multi-culturalism doesn’t work (see my blog of 26/10/2010), and all the ass-kissing in the worlds will not change that!

It is no wonder the Muslim population is convinced they will rule Britain before 2050 for we are handing it to them on a plate. We are already on the slippery slope solely due to the disparity in the birth-rates between ethnic Brits and Muslims (theirs being three times ours), but some people seem to want to hurry the process by denying our basic customs and freedoms.

The Once Proud Symbol Of A Once Proud Nation

When will the rank and file in Britain wake up to the fact that our entire culture is soon to disappear forever, swallowed by the monster that is Islam and Sharia Law.

Churchill will be turning in his grave!

I Couldn’t Stop Laughing!

Although I like to include quirky items on my blog, I don’t normally pass on jokes or funny stuff I get through my e-mails, but this one I had to share. When I saw it I just couldn’t stop laughing.

In addition to communicating with the local Air Traffic Control facility, all aircraft in the Persian Gulf AOR are required to give the Iranian Air Defence Radar (military) a ten minute ‘heads up’ if they will be transiting Iranian airspace.

The following conversation was heard on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz.

I don't know who the Pilot was, but I would love to shake his hand!

Iranian Air Radar: ‘Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.’

Aircraft: ‘This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.’

Air Defence Radar: ‘You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!’

Aircraft: ‘This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send ’em up, I’ll wait.’

Air Defence Radar: (total silence)

I have no idea who the pilot was, but he certainly deserves a medal for his cheek!

Germany – The Nuclear Dilemma

Posted in Britain, Demonstration, England, Environment, Europe, Germany, Government, Modern World, Nuclear, Radioactive Waste, UK, USA with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on 09/11/2010 by floroy1942

Germany hit the news this past week due to the demonstrations against nuclear power in the country, but what of the core question: Can we do without nuclear power?

The Gorlagen Express

It all centred around a train-load of nuclear waste being transported to the storage depot at Gorleben after treatment in France. Gorleben is the site of old salt mines that have been used for radioactive waste storage for the last three decades.

Throughout these thirty years, each successive train-load has met with demonstrations by anti-nuclear activists, but this year the demonstrations had a higher significance. The increased anger felt by the protesters was centred on the German governments recent decision to extend the life of the countries 17 nuclear power stations by a further 12 years to 2032, a reversal of a year 2000 decision to phase out all nuclear facilities.

Chernobyl - Nightmare Scenario

The German people have always been against nuclear power since the first experimental atomic power station was opened in Kahl-am-Main in 1960. Already nervous at the idea, this fear was heightened by the Three-Mile Island (Pennsylvania) incident in 1970, and more significantly, the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 which covered Germany in radioactive dust and required a massive clean-up operation.

Since the introduction of nuclear power to the world there have been accidents in many countries in which small amounts of radioactivity have escaped, all were due to human error and no-one in their right minds will ever be convinced that it is a 100% safe method of generating electricity. But there again, what is 100%  safe these days? I’ll tell you – Nothing!

The problem lies in the fact that we have become ‘power’ hungry, and since we entered the digital age the electricity requirements have jumped ten-fold in the industrialised nations. Coupled with this is the lack of a viable alternate method of supplying our energy needs. Our hunger for more power has become so great that to satisfy it with wind, sun, biofuels or hydro-electric power is utterly impossible, despite what their supporters say.

Another sticking point is the ever-increasing demands from developing counties such as India, China and the like as they take their first steps to becoming great industrialised nations.

It would appear that at present, no-one has a foolproof second option. If demonstrators were asked for an alternative, most would probably reply “wind”. There are already wind turbine ‘farms’ dotting the landscape in Europe and other countries, but the technology is afflicted by many problems.

Turbine Blade Convoy in UK

First and foremost is their size, which makes them expensive to produce and maintain, and they require specialists with special equipment to erect. They also have to be erected far away from cities and towns, therefore the construction of power lines to get the output where it is needed is costly.

Turbines have a limited life and need constant maintenance because they suffer from cyclic stresses, due to their sheer size and differing wind forces that fatigue the blades and bearings at a high rate.

Typical Wind Generator Construction

The most significant problem is blade stress, because as a blade reaches the top of its arc it is subject to more wind pressure than at the lowest point of its arc. The huge column on which the whole thing is mounted interrupts the wind flow and as the blade passes, it is subject to ‘negative’ stress (or momentary wind load relief). these two factors combined exert great strain on the blade, its mounting, and the bearings. This problem alone caused many of the earlier models to fail quickly.

Just as important is the fact they are unsightly, and do we really want to cover every high point on the planet with wind turbines?

The Enercon E-126

The highest output from a wind turbine (the Enercon E-126) is a mere 7.58Mw, and that’s on a good day, for as we all know, the wind is a fickle thing. Germany’s nuclear power stations generate 20,490Mw of power per year, that’s 26.1% of total energy needs compared with 6.5% fulfilled by wind power from its in excess of 21,163 wind turbines. No! I am afraid wind is not the answer, no matter what the pundits say.

Energy From the Sun?

The sun is a constant source of energy, at least during daylight, but to generate our needs from solar panels would require covering half the country, and then you wouldn’t be able to use the lights after sundown. No! I don’t think that is practical either.

There are those who say we should burn bio-fuels or resort to hydro-electric power sources but the fact is, bio-fuels have ready proven to be a dead duck because the ground required to grow them is also needed to grow food. The problem with hydro-electric  is, not all countries have rivers or coastline.

The Only Other Viable Alternative?

So the bottom line is, we continue to use fossil fuels that are slowly destroying our planet, or we go with the nuclear option, at least for the foreseeable future. Your choice!
