To Beat Austerity Measures, Pay Your Taxes

Posted in Benefits, Budget Cuts, Europe, Government Spending, Spain with tags , , , , , on 22/02/2013 by floroy1942

The people in both Spain and Greece have made it known they are fed up with their governments austerity measures, but in part, they are the ones making them necessary. The number of tax dodgers is rising day by day, and that fact alone means governments are not getting the money they need to get the economy back on its feet.

More People Want Cash Transactions

More People Want Cash Transactions

I can talk from personal experience here in Spain, because when someone does something for you here they invariably ask for cash instead of a card payment or bank transfer. Why? Because a cash payment does not go through the bank and is therefore not recorded, hence they do not have to pay tax on it. Even some shops will only take cash now as the economic squeeze bites. Many big businesses are not paying the level of taxation they should, and this too is hurting the economy.

Falling House Prices In Spain

Building Boom Collapse

The government is hemorrhaging money to keep the economy afloat and the ever-increasing number of tax dodgers only makes the situation worse.  Both the Spanish and Greek governments are struggling to pay social security and unemployment benefit to those who need it, and the number of unemployed is rising daily, which only increases the load.

With prices rising, pensions and benefits being cut, people are looking for any way possible to make ends meet and the most obvious is to avoid paying taxes. It is a cycle for destruction of the entire economy and both countries are heading into the abyss.

A Comparison Of Tax Evasion By Country

A Comparison Of Tax Evasion By Country

The Greeks have always avoided paying the proper level of taxes on a massive scale, and that is the main reason for the breakdown of their economy in the first place. Spain is now going down the same road. I do not blame just the people, for the governments of both countries need to get their spending priorities right and make the paying of taxes fair across the whole population.

The Greek Rich Are Moving Their Money Overseas

The Greek Rich Are Moving Their Money Overseas

Many super rich in Greece have not paid taxes for decades because they were bringing investment and money into the country, and the ordinary people had to carry the load, although most of them avoided paying their full share through corrupt tax officials. In the last few years the rich have been moving their capital out of the country to off-shore accounts to avoid heavy tax bills. Many of them have so much money they could probably settle the Greek debt on their own. It’s the old story; if you are rich you can easily move your money around, unlike the man in the street.

Unfinished Apartments Due To The Building Trade Collapse

Unfinished Apartments Due To The Building Trade Collapse

The big problem with Spain, unlike Greece, is that the catalyst for this current debacle was that everyone put ‘all their eggs in one basket’, i.e. the building industry. The collapse of the banks, coupled with the massive fall in property prices and the related stagnation of the building trade put Spain on the road to economic collapse.

Keeping Out The Stench Of Corruption

Keeping Out The Stench Of Corruption

Corruption has also cost the economy dear with just about anyone in a responsible position taking bribes and in some cases, skimming money. The April 7 2006 arrest of practically the entire local council of Marbella on corruption charges is a prime example. Recent allegations of corruption have even been made by the press against the current Spanish Prime Minister, Mariano Rahoy and his Party, although it is not for me to speculate on whether they are true or not. Since that time Rahoy has stated that he will crack down on corrupt practices in both national and local government, but that is hard to do when most people are at it. I wish him luck.

al-Qaeda – The Creeping Menace

Posted in Afghanistan, Al Quada, America, Britain, Christianity, Religion, Sharia Law, Terrorism, UK with tags , , , , , on 18/02/2013 by floroy1942

Ever since the rise of Osama bin Laden, the world has been under constant threat from the shadowy menace of al-Qaeda. This terrorist group has spread mayhem across the world at an ever-increasing tempo since the bombing of the World Trade Centre in New York, and members of the public seem to have no idea how far the tentacles of this of this organization are reaching.

French Troops Arrive In Mali

French Troops Arrive In Mali

Everyone knows of the trouble in various African nations and of course the Middle and Far East, but it has taken the discovery of documents left behind during the rebel withdrawal in Mali to show exactly the strategy of this group.

The nine-page letter was a chastisement of the rebel action in Mali where they took over three-quarters of the country before French troops moved in and helped the Mali government regain control. The letter is signed by  Abu Musab Abdul Wadud, which is the nom de guerre of Abdelmalek Droukdel, the senior commander appointed by Osama bin Laden to run al-Qaeda’s branch in Africa. In it he criticized the rebels for trying to introduce Sharia Law too soon in the parts of the country they had taken over.

Sharia Law

Sharia Law

It is a fact that as they overran a particular area they introduced Sharia Law like a hammer blow with many women being beaten for not covering themselves, cutting off the hand of many people suspected of stealing , and destroying many of the countries ancient sites and monuments. In turn, this brutality turned the conquered Malian people against them .

Abu Musab Abdul Wadud made clear in his letter that the introduction of Sharia should be slow and gradual so as not to turn the people against it. He compared the turning of the people to Sharia to a parent bringing up a child and wrote: “The current baby is in its first days, crawling on its knees, and has not yet stood on its two legs,” he continued, “If we really want it to stand on its own two feet in this world full of enemies waiting to pounce, we must ease its burden, take it by the hand, help it and support it until its stands.” He criticized the methods his fighters had used by saying: “Every mistake in this important stage of the life of the baby will be a heavy burden on his shoulders. The larger the mistake, the heavier the burden on his back, and we could end up suffocating him suddenly and causing his death.” This is in fact what happened, and caused the Mali inhabitants to turn against the rebels.

Sharia Brutality

Sharia Brutality

The African Leader insisted that a ‘softly, softly’ approach be used by his fighters, and that emphasis should be made to gain the people’s trust before gently introducing Sharia over a period of time. He wrote: “Our previous experience proved that applying Sharia this way, without taking the environment into consideration, will lead to people rejecting the religion, and engender hatred toward the mujahedeen, and will consequently lead to the failure of our experiment.”

Another insight into his strategy for al-Qaeda in Africa was revealed by his statement: “We should also take into consideration not to monopolize the political and military stage. We should not be at the forefront,” he says. “Better for you to be silent and pretend to be a ‘domestic’ movement that has its own causes and concerns. There is no reason for you to show that we have an expansionary, jihadi, al-Qaeda or any other sort of project.” In other words, he is saying that al-Qaeda should give all the help that is needed in overrunning a country but should then step back and guide from behind the scenes, allowing the local groups to take the foreground.

Al Quida Influence Is Spreading

Al Qaeda Influence Is Spreading

I think that many people do not realize the full extent to which these insurgents are involved in the trouble spots in the world. It is suspected that al-Qaeda has been involved in, or have backed through affiliated groups, attacks in many far eastern countries like Nepal, the Philippines and Thailand, even if only in a small way. The most well-known are Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan through the Taliban group. Most of the headline stories concern Africa and the Middle East which have been in turmoil since the beginning of the so-called ‘Arab Spring’.

Country by country the unrest has spread and it’s all playing into the hands of the al-Qaeda leadership. In my view, the entire episode has been instigated by the group and we all know how easy it is to get an Arab crowd baying for the blood of their leaders. Egypt is a prime example of this, where after proper elections the people are dissatisfied with the actions of those they elected.

With the exception of countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia, most Arab nations are secular where they have lived amicably with non-Muslim faiths. al-Qaeda changed all that by stirring up hatred for non-Muslim people, i.e. ‘infidels’, and consequently we have seen attacks on Christians in Egypt, Pakistan, Nigeria, Iraq, Kenya, the Philippines and many more. It would seem that since the wave of attacks on western nations like 9/11 and the London/Madrid bombings, a tactic that clearly failed, al-Qaeda has become much more subtle in its approach to terrorism. Agitation has become their main weapon whereby they get the common people to do their work for them, like over-throwing governments.

The Spread Of Muslim Unrest

Muslim Political Freedom – Green – “Free”. Yellow – “Partly Free”. Purple – “Not Free”.

Seldom in man’s history has there been so much trouble across the world involving so many nations, and it is all to do with the wish for Islam to dominate the world. It will not succeed, but the will is certainly there to try. Islam has become the focus of world attention because one man, bin Laden, had a grudge and wished to impose it on everyone. He was without doubt the catalyst for this current wave of  terror, and in my opinion, his group are at the heart of it all. It is for this reason they must be hounded to extinction by every nation on the planet, for otherwise there will never be peace.

North Korea and Iran – The Sanctions Farce

Posted in Al Quada, America, Iran, Israel, North Korea, Nuclear Proliferation, Nuclear Weapons, Terrorism, UK, United Nations, USA with tags , , on 15/02/2013 by floroy1942

Both North Korea and Iran have upset the international community for years with their unending attempts to produce nuclear weapons, and it seems all the UN can do is impose sanctions against them. It is all very complicated, but in a nutshell, these mainly include banning weapons sales to North Korea and Iran, stopping aircraft or ships on the high seas bound for either country that is suspected of carrying military equipment or weapons, and preventing the travel of any person associated with the arms trade in these countries. The laughable thing about these sanctions is that the UN cannot really enforce any of them, and all countries are not given real power to do so but must do it on their own initiative!

North Korea Missile Test

North Korea Missile Test

In each case, the UN roundly condemns their actions and is demanding that both countries return to the negotiating table, refrain from further research and tests, and basically, cease all ‘provocative’ action related to nuclear weapons. Both countries take no notice of this at all. This is viewed by many as nothing more than a slap on the wrist, for the UN seems totally incapable of taking any concertive action in this matter.

Many countries have taken unilateral action against both nations, for example, apart from the weapons bans in place, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India, Israel, Switzerland, the EU and the United States have all put restrictions on the travel of business people in the country associated with that countries nuclear programme. Some countries have put an economic freeze in place by blocking, in the case of Iran for example, the foreign activities of the Bank of Iran and a ban on Iranian oil imports.

For obvious reasons this is but a snap-shot of the depth of the sanctions placed on North Korea and Iran, but the most important point is none of them are having any affect. North Korea is still carrying out nuclear tests and long-range missile development, and the only ones suffering are the poor people. In Iran it is almost impossible to buy imported luxury goods and oil revenues are down, but who the hell cares, “we are on the way to becoming a nuclear nation and sanctions will not stop us” they say!

Iran Missile Test

Iran Missile Test

When it comes down to it, both countries want to be able to stand up to ‘Uncle Sam’, and hence the nuclear weapons and long-range missiles. What these people fail to realize is that if they returned to peaceful ways they wouldn’t need to, because America among others would not be breathing down their necks every day. All they are doing by pursuing this course is to put world peace in danger.

It has been said often enough that countries like Israel and the USA may well take preventative action against Iran if it persists in its desire to have a nuclear weapon and the means to deliver it. In this respect North Korea is a bigger danger because of its huge army, and any provocation could send it hurtling into the South.

The danger from this problem is all around us, but so far no-one has been able to take any meaningful action to stop its escalation, certainly not the UN talking shop.

We could well be on the verge of a new world-wide nuclear arms race, for if North Korea eventually gets  both a nuclear weapon and a viable long-range missile it stands to reason that countries like Japan and South Korea among others will want them too. If Iran reaches its goal, what is to stop many other Middle East states from wanting the same thing for protection?

It would seem to this simple soul that a complete turnaround is required. The UN and all its members should perhaps ask North Korea to sign a proper peace agreement with the South that finally closes the Korean War chapter, in return they would receive full financial and domestic aid to rid the country of its poverty without meddling in its internal political system. If countries could pour billions of dollars into the country and ‘bring it into the 21st century’ it would enrich the lives of every man woman and child, and Kim Jong Un would be immortalised for bringing true prosperity to the nation. Yea! I know, sounds too far-fetched but worth a try?

Iranian Nuclear Sites

Iranian Nuclear Sites

Iran is of course a totally different situation because it is already a prosperous nation, so what could we do for them? Well, for a start we could stop threatening them and give them assurances they will be left in peace to prosper as they wish. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but maybe the first step is to ask them what they want in exchange for the cessation of their nuclear activities. But the one trouble with this prickly nation is its involvement with terrorist organizations such as al Quada and Hezbollah to whom they have long been known to give their backing.

It’s a very difficult situation with currently no end in sight, but one thing is for sure, sanctions are not going to bring these two belligerents to the negotiating table, far from it, it is likely to make them more determined. Perhaps it will take every nation on the planet to line up its guns, tanks and combat aircraft on the borders of these two countries and threaten to invade before they will listen, but the chances of that happening are zero I should imagine. Either way, I hope someone comes up with a sane idea to end the standoff before we all become embroiled in another war the likes of which we have never experienced. Suggestions anyone?

The Scots May Lift Their Skirts To England – Again!

Posted in Britain, David Cameron, Elections, England, Europe, Government, Parliament, UK, United Nations with tags , , , , on 12/02/2013 by floroy1942

The debate about Scotland possibly leaving the United Kingdom has taken another turn this week with independent experts saying that Scotland would be out of the UN, NATO and the EU if they decide to break away from the rest of Britain next year. Something I am sure perhaps even Alec Salmond hasn’t thought of.

Salmond's Dream

Salmond’s Dream

In the opinion of the International Law experts, leaving the UK would give Scotland the status of a “new state” and it would have to re-apply to these bodies for membership. This in itself would perhaps not be such huge hurdle, but what interests me more is the Scottish Nationalist Party’s (SNP) claim that the country would survive economically on its farming, fishing and oil revenues. That I find hard to believe.

Let’s take a closer look at these claims. First of all farming brought in a total of £630m during the year 2008 to the economy. Farming output is around £230billion of which £400m is exported. The rest is for home consumption. Around 75% of Scottish land is given over to agriculture and employs around 65,000 people with a further 250,000 in related industry, which is 1 in 10 of the population. The average income of a Scottish farmer is £40,000 per annum.

Whiskey is another mainstay of the economy in Scotland and contributes £2.7billion to the Scottish Gross Value Added (GVA). The industry employs 10,000 workers and has a gross income of £460m per year. The production of Scotch whiskey provides a further 35,000 associated jobs and creates a value of nearly £3.9 billion each year in profits and wages (GVA) across the Scottish economy.

Scottish Business Doesn't Like The Idea

Scottish Business Doesn’t Like The Idea

By far the biggest problem for Scotland is the oil. Alec Salmond seems to think the country sits on a goldmine of oil and gas that will provide all the country needs in the way of revenue. This is not so! Experts are of the opinion that by 2020 the oil will start drying up and by 2040 is likely to be non-existent. This will prove a major headache for anyone who has placed all their bets on these products to support the economy in the future.

Also, this North Sea ‘gold’ is expensive to extract and is largely dependent on the market price of oil. Should the price drop to around $90 a barrel, 23 billion barrels of oil and gas could still be extracted and a profit made. At $70 a barrel this falls to 16.5 billion barrels, any more and the extraction process costs overtake the profits. Its is estimated that the oil and gas revenues have accounted for 13% and 23% of Scotland’s economy during the past two years which in anyone’s terms is a large slice. So you see that oil is hardly going to keep the Scottish economy afloat for very long.

There is little faith in the minds of economists that the farming and whiskey industries will be sufficient to prop up the economy despite what Alec Salmond and the SNP say. Scotland has seen a constant £41b deficit in its budget, and that includes all the oil and gas revenues. Should Alec Salmond still decide to ‘go it alone’ this will mean severe economic problems for the Scottish people at some point in the future when the government must get the economy figures balanced.

Not The Economy Foundation It Appears To Be

Not The Economy Foundation It Appears To Be

Michael Moore, MP for Scotland said: “….in the last 30 years, the UK and Scottish Governments have spent £197bn more in Scotland than the total tax generated in Scotland.” He continued: “If you had allocated every single penny of oil and gas revenues to Scotland over the past 30 years – a figure of £156 billion – then you would still fall £41 billion short of what both governments have actually invested in Scotland”.

Defence is another thorny issue for Scotland which currently comes under the United Kingdom defence forces. In the event of a break-away, the country will be expected to provide its own defence forces at an estimated cost of £1.8billion. Under present arrangements, Scotland contributes only £0.3billion under the combined UK defence policy so this will add a large amount to Scottish government costs.

When the Scottish people vote to leave the United Kingdom many will not realize exactly what that means, and Alec Salmond is not likely to tell them. The entire infrastructure of the country will need to be overhauled, including the introduction of new government departments in areas where Scotland is currently covered from Westminster. Tax, health, employment, foreign office, defence and many other ministries will need to be set up as the country begins to look after its own business, and all this at a huge cost.

If the split takes place The UK government will have to do much to assist in the setting up of this new land and the cost will be born by the UK taxpayer, but once the transition is complete, the Scottish people should not think they can come back ‘cap in hand’ to Whitehall when the real difficulties start.

What The Scottish People Think

What The Scottish People Think

There is little doubt that should the Scottish people decide to break away from the United Kingdom there will be very hard times ahead and the general public don’t even know the half of it. In my opinion, this whole idea of Scottish independence has come about with one purpose only – to glorify the name of Alec Salmond as the ‘man who led Scotland out from under the English yoke’, and that doesn’t include his political ambitions!

I just hope the Scottish people think long and hard with their minds, and not their hearts when the time comes, for it is a very big and dangerous step to take, attractive though it may seem on the surface.

Where Women Are A Target For Abuse

Posted in Arab, Child Abuse, Human Rights, Modern World, Muslim, Religion, UK, USA with tags , , , , , on 09/02/2013 by floroy1942

In the West we have Human Rights Laws to protect women, and we have other laws that make it illegal for any man to force his intentions on a woman, but sadly, this is not so everywhere. Ever since the tragic episode in December last year of a young medical student who was gang-raped on a bus in New Delhi, the plight of women in this mostly Hindu nation has been brought to the fore. As we all now know, she was repeatedly raped for over an hour and then thrown from the bus like a piece of garbage and left to die.

This terrible incident has given impetus to the Indian government to begin putting laws in place to protect the rights of women, however, it remains to be seen how successful this will be. In India rape is a widespread problem as men seem to think that women can be abused at will and there will be no repercussions, which is often true.

Latest Atrocity:

Child Forced Labour Is Widespread

Child Forced Labour Is Widespread

A Small Unwanted Girl Child Is Put To Death - Sorry, But This Meant To Shock You

A Small Unwanted Girl Child Is Put To Death – Sorry, But This Is Meant To Shock You

It is also sad to note that child rape and general abuse is also endemic in the country. Many children as young as five are forced into slave labour. According to Indian government sources one in two children suffer abuse at some time or other, and more to the point, most cases go unreported so the actual number is far higher.

A Woman Is Abused By The Military

A Woman Is Abused By The Military

In other cases, many Egyptian women have been raped and molested in public by large crowds of men in Tahrir Square in Cairo, scene of many demonstrations. Most notable was the recent incident where a woman had her clothes ripped off and was groped by a very large group of men. There have been at least three cases where western women have been attacked in the square by gangs of up to a hundred men, had their clothes ripped off, and while no actual rape was committed, they were subjected to abuse the likes of which are difficult to imagine.

So what does this kind of attitude towards women tell us? It is well known that in the Muslim world women are second-class citizens, and to put it in a ‘nutshell’, are put on Earth only to serve men. In some countries the strict laws regarding woman have been somewhat relaxed, but sadly not all.

Trapped - With No Way Out

Trapped – With No Way Out

In the strictest Muslim countries women are required to wear the infamous burka which covers them from head to toe. The following is from the Quran: “O Prophet! Tell your wives and daughters and the believing women that they should draw over themselves their jilbab (outer garments) (when in public); this will be more conducive to their being recognized (as decent women) and not harassed. But God is indeed oft-forgiving, most merciful. (33:59)” While this text does not specifically say that women must cover themselves from head to foot, it has been interpreted as such because otherwise women will “inflame the passions of men”! It would seem many Muslim men think of nothing but sex and have a difficult time controlling themselves, as the sight of even a small amount of female skin will get their blood racing!

Guwahati India - A Young Woman Is Attacked On A Busy Street. No-one Called The Police But Many Filmed It On Their Phone

Guwahati India – A Young Woman Is Attacked On A Busy Street. No-one Called The Police But Many Filmed It On Their Phone

In India there is much the same feeling that women are there to serve men, and a man can do as he pleases without fear of retribution. Although the government is trying to put laws in place to protect women and children from abuse, I fear it will have little effect, because like the Muslim world it is part of their culture, and it will take much more than a few laws to bring about change. Among the ‘Laws Concerning Women in Manu-Smriti’ (Hindu Scriptures) can be found the following: “13.1 (women will be) Always dependent 13.2  (she will always) Worship and obey (her) husband 5.148 In childhood a female must be subject to her father, in youth to her husband, when her lord is dead to her sons; a woman must never be independent”. So you see that women have very little chance of being better off with the passage of new laws introduced by the government.

It is pretty much the same with both Muslims and Hindu’s that women have little or no rights as human beings except to serve their masters, i.e. their husbands. Laws will not change this fact. It becomes evident that both religions have a lot to learn in this day and age.

The British Government Catches ‘Gay’ Fever

Posted in America, Britain, Child Abuse, Children, Europe, Government, Homosexuals, Modern World, Relationships, UK, USA with tags , , on 07/02/2013 by floroy1942

Last Tuesday the UK House of Commons gave their consent by a large majority to the introduction of homosexual marriage in Britain. This is indeed a sad day for the country, even though the decision is not final as it still has to go through the House of Lords. In my opinion, this issue has become so politicised that governments are bound to adopt any motion of this type because they think not to do so will hurt their chances of re-election.

The Seat Of Government - What Are These Idiots Thinking?

The Seat Of Government – What Are These Idiots Thinking?

The politicians who are responsible for running any country should be more respectful of the wishes of the electorate, and not be thinking purely in terms of the homosexual vote and their re-election chances. It is a sad indictment of politicians today that they think more of doing what they can to keep the masses voting for them than doing what is right for the country and its people. This is true of very many democratic countries, not just Britain. It is a fact that many countries have over the past ten years softened their stance on homosexual marriage but I still believe the majority are against it.

The Younger Generation May Be In Favour, Wiser Heads Are Not!

I am well aware this idea of homosexual marriage has been adopted by many other countries, but I am ashamed that it has got this far in Britain. The whole business of homosexuality has been pushed on the grounds of ‘human rights’ and any other excuse these ‘people’ can find to justify their behaviour, but it won’t wash with me, and many other upright citizens. The problem is we have been bombarded with the business of homosexuality from every angle, and I think many people have just got tired of it and put their hands up in surrender. They even want the right to marry in church for goodness sake, and we all know what God thinks of this issue: “Man shall not lie down with another man….etc”. If such a thing were ever to be allowed it would tear apart everything the church stands for.

Very Funny! Where Are The Police?

Very Funny! Where Are The Police? Do You Want Your Young Child To See This?

One thing I am thoroughly sick of is seeing these idiots cavorting on the streets in various levels of undress and shoving their deviance down the throats of ordinary people with their ‘Gay Parades’. Because they are ‘Gay’, they get away with things that you or I would immediately be arrested for. I know that if you ask many of those watching such an event what they think of it, the idiots among them will laugh and say its just a bit of harmless fun. But its not, its their way of trying to bring the public over to their side before they start pushing for more and more legislation in their favour.

My wife and I were visiting friends last Sunday evening, and during one conversation I asked him what he thought of homosexual marriage and adoption. He replied that he thought it was OK. So I followed this up by asking him if having two parents of the same sex would affect the psychological health of an adopted child. I pointed out that any child growing up with homosexuals would eventually come to realize that they were different from other families. It could lead to bullying in school and it would most likely end in the child itself becoming a homosexual. He stopped and thought for a few seconds, and then admitted he had never thought of that angle, and agreed that children could very well be seriously affected mentally by such an arrangement.

Now that the homosexual marriage act looks like becoming law, unless the Law Lords fail to approve it, you can bet your life the next thing ‘they’ will demand is the right to adopt children.

If You Want Something To Care For Elton – GET A DOG!

I was thoroughly disgusted when Elton John first announced he was to become the father of a child, and equally so at the second announcement a short time ago that he now has another. Both were obviously conceived through a surrogate mother, i.e. a woman who had the children for him from donated sperm, and I am sure she had no qualms about doing it if she was paid enough money, which I am sure she must have been. Some people will do anything for money these days and Elton has very deep pockets.

I am well aware that homosexuality has been around for centuries, but I prefer the old days where it was not thrown in our faces. What are these people trying to do, turn the human race into bisexual beings at some time in the future? It’s all about me, me, me and what I want. It has nothing to do with the affects such a relationship will have on a child brought up by a homosexual couple.

He's My Mummy - I Think!

He’s My Mummy – I THINK!

I am afraid I do not agree with the so-called ‘experts’ who think that any child raised by two men will grow to be a normal person. How can they? I guess the couple will decide among themselves as to who will be ‘mummy’ and who will be father, but as a child reaches the age of understanding how can they look at a man and think of him as a woman when all their friends have a real woman to call mummy. What sort of reception are they going to get from their friends when ‘mummy’ comes and picks them up after school? How will their sexual orientation be guided by a father and a man posing as their mother?

What The General Public Think.

What The General Public Think.

Their ‘parents’ will of course teach them that there is nothing wrong in their relationship, so how will a young boy react when puberty is over and he start to think about girls, or heaven forbid, boys? Mentally they will be at a crossroads and I suspect they may not know which way to turn because they have been told that both are right? Naturally, their friends will be out looking for girls because they are normal, but an adolescent young male brought up by a homosexual couple will not know which way to turn. The same would be true for a girl brought up by a lesbian couple.

Dream On Boys!

Dream On Boys! You Need The Real Deal To Have A Child!

In many countries where this sort of atrocity is now allowed, in the future there will be a whole lot of kids who have been psychologically damaged simply by the fact that their parents are of the same sex. None of these children have yet grown old enough for there to be any definite evidence of these facts, but as they get older we will begin to see the results of these misbegotten laws.

I know I am not a psychiatrist, but to me it doesn’t take one to recognise the obvious pitfalls that will beset these children in the future. They have a very good chance of becoming to some extent ‘unbalanced’ by their position in society due to their upbringing. Not many of these children will be able to ‘leave the nest’ and lead a normal healthy heterosexual life after being brought up to believe that anything goes in this world.

France Leads The Way By Turning Out The Lights

Shanghai At Night

Shanghai At Night

According to reports, France has taken a major step towards saving the planet without even realizing it. The French government have apparently just passed a law that forces shops and office blocks to turn out their lights at night, quoting “light pollution” and “electricity savings”.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas

The law states that all of these buildings must turn off all lights within one hour of the last person leaving, or by 01.00hrs every night and the projected savings in electricity are staggering. It has been calculated that this one measure will save sufficient energy to power 750,000 homes for an entire year! The actual figure is two terawatt/hours of electricity a year. When you consider the implications of this, it is an enormous saving of power at a time when demand is growing at an ever-increasing rate year on year.

World Energy Consumption On The Rise

World Energy Consumption On The Rise

As we have more and more gadgets in the house requiring this precious resource, plus of course the introduction of electric cars, the energy demands of today’s society will grow to such an extent that the power companies will be unable to fill demand in the future. This in effect, will necessitate a mass building programme of extra power stations which will need more of the Earth’s resources to feed them.

London

London

When you look at the night skyline of  all the major cities in the world they are a mass of light from glaring advertisements to whole skyscrapers lit from top to bottom. If you think about it, this is wasting power on an unprecedented scale the like of which is incomparable. We are using coal, natural gas and nuclear power to satisfy our increasing needs, and this is before millions of people ‘go green’ and buy an electric car to ‘save the planet’.

Power Guzzler!

Power Guzzler!

There are many people who are against nuclear power, but what they do not realize is that as demand increases we will need many more power stations to keep up with demand.
