Time For A Crackdown On Crime

Posted in America, Britain, England, European Union, Government, Immigrants, News, Police, Prison, Theft with tags , , , , on 22/07/2017 by floroy1942

Crime in the U.K. has gotten totally out of hand, and its time for the government to do something about it. Our Police Force has reached its lowest level since 1985 and they are so stretched they do not have the time to investigate crime as they should.

The number of murders, attacks and burglaries have gone through the roof in recent years because the perpetrators know they will not be punished properly. Killers are out of prison after three or four years, and that is not a proper sentence for someone who has committed murder.

Currently we have a twenty percent increase in gun and knife crime. The murder rate has increased to 723 crimes in the last few years. Last year, gun related offences rose by 23 percent, while knife crime spiked at 20 percent with 34,703 incidents. An increase in the number of robberies at knife point was also documented, with the figure rising to nearly 13,000 incidents.

It is clear that people are not safe on the streets or in their own homes these days. Much of the crime is being carried out by immigrants who see Britain as a golden opportunity. They know the Justice System is a farce, and look forward to no more than three or four years in prison for committing murder or 12 months for robbery.

The number of police officers on our streets is continuing  to fall. Last year the numbers fell by 924, bringing the total number of police officers to 123, 142 in England and Wales.

Many people have been told that burglaries and street attacks will not be investigated, because the police do not have the time or resources to investigate properly. This is a scandal of major proportions and must be addressed by the government, otherwise we will end up with complete anarchy.

It is shameful that the British government allow so many criminals to enter Britain freely from other European countries. It is time we check with the country they came from to see if they have a criminal record, and if they do then we bar them from entering the country.

Once we get out of the European Union I sincerely hope that the government will initiate a crackdown on crime of all types and ensure that these people get a proper prison sentence. For killers we must bring back the death penalty and to hell with those who oppose it. This is the only way to crack down on murders, for you can bet your life that the numbers will decline rapidly if the death penalty is reintroduced.

It is time we took some strong measures against crime, otherwise the whole country will fall into a pit of anarchy.

Why Do We Not Deport Terrorists?

Posted in Al Quada, America, Britain, England, Immigrants, Islamic State, News, Politics, Terrorism, UK with tags , , , , on 28/06/2017 by floroy1942

It is a sad indication of the Law these days that terrorists cannot be deported. This is mostly due to the Human Rights Council and European Laws.

I read a report today that states that at least forty convicted terrorists have not been deported because the Home Office is not doing its job, not forgetting the interference from the European Human Rights Council.

When these people are caught they are put in prison for three to four years and then released back into our society. We have these people living among us and who is to say they will not commit more atrocities after they are released.

Known Member Of al Qaeda

British Law has taken a nosedive from what it used to be fifty years ago and the situation is going to get far worse. If these people know they cannot be deported back to their own country the violence will never cease.

“In the court cases, lawyers – typically funded through legal aid – have successfully prevented foreign-born terror suspects from being sent back to their home countries. The scheme – in theory – allows the UK to expel terror suspects with guarantees they will not be mistreated or even tortured in their home country. But it appears to have broken down allowing terrorists to remain in the UK. The report is potentially embarrassing for the Prime Minister because it is expected to highlight the collapse of an initiative she pushed hard for while in the Home Office.”

It took Britain over ten years to deport the hate preachers Abu Qatada and Abu Hamsa, since then very few have been deported. Once the Police and MI5 have proven that they belong to a jihadist network they should be arrested and deported within weeks.

Professor Clive Walker, an international law expert said: “My research suggests there are more than 40 foreign terrorists convicted in the UK who have avoided deportation using the human rights act. The figure is much larger than was previously thought.”

Lord Carlile, Mr Anderson’s predecessor as the independent reviewer of terror legislation said, “My role in it was to compile a detailed description of the rules and regulations about deportation with assurances. I still think the Home Office wish to pursue DWA.”

Abu Qatada – Finally Deported

The DWA stands for Deportation With Assurance, which means that terrorists sent back to their own country will not be tortured or abused. This is one of the reasons it took so long to deport Abu Qatada.

It is a sad fact that there are many militants living among us and although MI5 and the Police know who many are, they cannot be arrested and deported because of British Laws and the European Laws. We must wait until someone dies.

Among those understood to have used the Human Rights Act to resist deportation include jihadists linked to the failed 21/7 bomb plot in 2005, who were jailed in the UK and subsequently released after serving their sentences. Another is an Algerian terrorist imprisoned for funding al-Qaeda training camps but since free after serving his sentence.

People Fleeing For Their Lives

There is huge pressure on the Anti-terror Police and the Security Services after the three recent terror attacks, for all perpetrators were known to the Police but they did nothing to remove them or prevent the attacks. “The attacks in recent months demonstrates the need to protect the public and that this should outweigh the human rights of terrorists,” said Lord Carlile. I have to admit that I fully agree with this statement.

Since these terror attacks have begun just twelve foreign born jihadists have been deported under DWA rules. By contrast, France has deported 120 terrorists back to their own country.

Theresa May has said recently that all known jihadists will be deported, but we will have to wait and see if this really happens.

What The Hell Is Wrong With British Teens These Days

Knife Fight

Knife Fight

I read today of yet another knife attack in a crowded shopping centre in West London. Thankfully the victims wounds are not life threatening, but what does it say about the youth today? Hardly a day goes by that we do not hear on the news of someone either getting killed or attacked with a knife. Its a far cry from the days when I was young, for this type of thing never happened, but today people seem to consider it ‘normal’.

I blame the lack of proper upbringing of kids these days, where discipline has literally been thrown out the window. No longer are children brought up to respect others and have a good time without getting violent. Tempers flare at the drop of a hat and the end result is always the same.

Part of the problem of course is that they never get proper punishment because the ‘Do-Gooders’ rule the country. People like the European Human Rights Council, the Politically Correct Brigade and many others who seem to think that we should not punish criminals too hard. In today’s world murder has become a part of life and is perfectly acceptable.

These days, if you commit murder you can expect to be sentenced for up to ten years in prison, but are released in three or four years. The prisons are like holiday camps and the time served for murder is an insult to the victims and their family. What is more important, it does nothing to persuade someone to change their ways.

The Victim Of A Knife Fight

The Victim Of A Knife Fight

Old people stabbed to death for just a few measly pounds, teachers stabbed to death in their classroom, teens stabbed as the result of a silly argument – where will it all end? In a few years time everyone will need to carry an automatic rifle or a hand gun just to protect themselves and we will be like America. It seems we are headed for total anarchy in the coming years.

Now that we are getting out from under the jackboot of the European Union I sincerely hope that Theresa May will bring back a proper system of justice like we used to have. In my youth murders were seldom committed because the killer knew he would be hung if found guilty.

I know many people will not agree with this, but if we are to stop this rampant murdering of innocents and vicious attacks on our streets, then we need to bring back the death penalty. This one act would see the number of murders in a year drop through the floor, for each individual would know what awaits them if they kill someone.

Life of Luxury In Prison.

Life of Luxury In Prison.

I know of the arguments that our prisons are full to overflowing, but we can partially solve that be deporting all immigrants who commit severe crimes in the U.K. and we should build more prisons and to hell with the cost. Also, our prisons should be a place of punishment, not a holiday camp where they lounge around all day watching TV or playing computer games in their cells. Sentences should fit the crime and not restricted to three or four years for murder.

If nothing is done to seriously stop this escalation in crime everyone will live in fear for their lives in the future. The government must take some positive action to stop the rampant crime rate currently afflicting our nation. I am but a lone voice in this insane world, but it would be nice if someone in authority took notice of what I have said.

Justice System Aids Criminals In Prison

Posted in Britain, Children, England, European Union, Human Rights, Justice, News, Political Correctness, Prison, UK with tags , , , , on 16/08/2015 by floroy1942

I really could not believe it when I read a report that our Justice System provided drug criminals in prison with laptops which allowed them to smuggle £30 million worth of drugs into the country. That was not the true intention of giving them the laptops, for they were supposedly to ‘help them prepare for their legal defence’.

Wandsworth Prison

Wandsworth Prison

What these Department of Justice idiots did not take into consideration was that there were enough knowledgable people in the prison to disable all the security features, like internet access, so they could complete their business. The gang even paid a  freelance “fixer” £1 million to get himself convicted of fraud and sent to their prison to co-ordinate the operation. The security features were disabled by another member of the gang, an east European hacker, using a coded memory stick smuggled into the jail by one of the plotter’s girlfriends.

Laptops Given For Free In Prison

Laptops Given For Free In Prison

So far as the prison goes, their excuse was “Prisons are required to provide secure laptops to a minority of offenders facing trial so they can view legal material relating to their case. The computers do not enable prisoners to access any other part of the National Offender Management Service system and internet access is disabled. We will always take action against those attempting to break the rules and offenders face prosecution if they use equipment inappropriately.” I have news for you pal – Too Bloody Late!

What is even more laughable is that the laptops were paid for by the tax payer. I have often said that our justice system has ‘gone to the dogs’, but this is too ridiculous for words.

It is no wonder we have a rampant crime rate these days when the system is unable to properly punish those who break the law. For decades now we never give offenders a ‘just’ sentence, even for murder they get a paltry few years or less in prison and are then released on parole. I can quote cases where the killer has got but a few months in jail for killing an innocent person.

Oscar Pistorius and Partner

Oscar Pistorius and Partner

Just yesterday it was announced that Oscar Pistorius who shot his partner is to be released after only ten months.

Amy Houstan Died

Amy Houstan Died

A case in the UK is that of Aso Mohammed Ibrahim who left a 12 year-old to die in the road after he hit her with his car. Despite being an illegal who had been refused asylum twice, and being a convicted criminal, he got four months in jail for the girls murder. So please don’t try to tell me that the justice system in Britain today works as a deterrent to criminals to give up their nefarious trade.

Like many other things in Britain, the entire justice system needs a massive overhaul and we need to leave the E.U. Human Rights Commission to interfere in other nations, but not ours.

It’s Crying Time Again!

Posted in Britain, Budget Cuts, England, Equality, European Union, Government, Human Rights, Justice, News, UK with tags , , , , on 20/05/2014 by floroy1942

CryingYou really couldn’t make it up could you? We all make mistakes which is true, but sometimes government mistakes are so laughable it makes you want to scream and cry in sheer frustration.

Currently politicians are back-peddling furiously after yet another prisoner cock-up, this time a killer and his friend, Thomas Moffett both of which failed to return to prison after day release.

This is a couple of weeks after a vicious armed robber called Michael Wheatley went missing while on day release, and committed another armed robbery  before  being recaptured.

Arnold Pickering - A Killer On The Run

Arnold Pickering – A Killer On The Run

The prisoner this time was Arnold Pickering who was sentenced to life in prison (with an eighteen years minimum) in 1991 for the murder of a man in Oldham Lancashire. Apart from this killer being in an open prison in the first place, he had twice before absconded while on day release. You have to ask why he was on day release at all with such a record?

The incompetence inside the prison system is also highlighted in this episode, in that Pickering was supposed to report back to the prison at 16.30 but the fact that he was missing was not reported until 19.00. Maybe they thought he had missed his bus and was waiting for the next one? A man can travel a long way in two-and-a-half hours.

Manchester Prison

Manchester Prison

Pickering first escaped from Manchester prison in 1990 after which he stabbed a man to death and was later recaptured and sentenced, and then in 2009 he absconded again while on day release from Kirkham Prison. Now he has done it again. It has since been revealed that he was recaptured while staying at a house in Greater Manchester.

The most obvious question is: As a killer, what was he doing in a low security open prison in the first place? Secondly, you would have to ask what he was doing out on day release with at least four years left to serve of a ‘life’ sentence? And lastly, why was he out on day release when he had already absconded twice  before?

Politician's View Of Overcrowding

Politician’s View Of Overcrowding

So far as question one is concerned, the government’s excuse is that maximum security prisons are overcrowded. The answer to questions two and three? Well, your guess is as good as mine!

Peter Mcparlin

Peter Mcparlin

Peter McParlin, who is chairman of the Prison Officers Association, said the system was under “immense pressure”. “We have overcrowding in the prison estate, people are being put into open conditions who are unsuitable for open conditions. Twenty prisons have closed in the last three years and prison staff numbers have reduced by 6000 since 2010. “And it’s clear to me that the tick-box mentality that goes into transferring prisoners to open conditions has failed the public.”

This brings up the question, if we have such over-crowding, why did the government close down twenty prisons? You will have to ask Cameron for an answer to that one.

Working With Others To Protect The Public - You Must Be Joking!

Working With Others To Protect The Public – You Must Be Joking!

One thing this whole saga does do however, is highlight the total incompetency of Parole Board hearings and the ‘bleeding hearts’ that sit on them, and the whole parole system itself. Really, how would any sane person allow a killer out on day release after he had twice run away before? It makes me think these ‘bleeding heart’ people who make up parole boards are either complete and utter idiots, or are a sucker for a good sob story. Is someone going to get fired over this stupidity? I doubt it!

It is a proven fact that between April 2012 and March 2013 a total of 204 prisoners have absconded from open prisons. This fact alone proves the system does not work for all those with more than three months left to serve of their sentence. With that amount of time left, prisoners are less likely to run away for fear of having their sentences extended when caught.

It all points to the fact that Parole Boards have no idea what they are doing, because recapturing escaped prisoners costs valuable police time and resources that could be better spent elsewhere.

If I had my way I would round up all these Human Rights and Do-Gooder nutters and ship them off to somewhere they can do no more harm. Actually the Shetland Isles does spring to mind for they can pontificate as much as they like up there and no-one will give a toss!

Chris Grayling - Justice Secretary

Chris Grayling – Justice Secretary

As you would expect, the government officials and MP’s are jumping out of the woodwork to say how terrible this whole saga is. Justice Secretary Chris Grayling said, “There have been a number of instances in recent months that I find unacceptable and in future prisoners should not expect to find the same system that’s perhaps been there for the last, well many, many years.”

Prisons minister Jeremy Wright is reported as saying: “This will be looked at as a matter of urgency. I am not prepared to see public safety compromised.” Well well! Talk about shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted!

Electronic Tag

Electronic Tag

Another valid question comes to mind, and that is why are these day release prisoners not electronically tagged? If they do decide to do a runner then at least they can be caught much quicker without wasting too much police time.

I find the hypocrisy of present day justice totally unacceptable in that killers/rapists etc. are sentenced to ‘life’, but with the proviso they must spend a minimum of ‘X’ years in jail. Either they are sentenced to life or ‘X’ number of years, but don’t dress it up by calling it life because you are not fooling anyone! What the hell happened to a proper life sentence?

No Overcrowding Here!

No Overcrowding Here!

Oh dear, silly me! I forgot the prisons are full! So now we cannot afford to give prisoners long jail sentences because we might trample on their human rights by having two share a cell. We might as well let them out after serving a quarter of their sentence! So what happened to Cameron’s much vaunted plans for the building of new prisons? Oh Damn! We can’t do that because it costs money! It’s far cheaper to give hardened criminals ‘a slap on the wrist’ or send them away for a mere year.

The justice system in the UK is in such a mess that it will take changes of earthquake proportions to put it right. The biggest problem is that we cannot mete out proper justice because of the strangling Human Rights Laws that ensure our prisons are like holiday camps, and we must provide all the comforts of home.

Eu Parliament Brussels

Eu Parliament Brussels

Rules and regulations come from Brussels demanding that we treat all our killers, rapists and so forth with kid gloves for we might offend their human rights. These laws make a mockery of justice and treat the perpetrators better than the victims. It is time we had a government with the balls to tell Brussels to shove their rules where the sun don’t shine and we get back to the proper the fair system of justice we once had. As things stand its enough to make a grown man cry!

Anyone need a handkerchief?

Crazy! You Couldn’t Make It Up. Series 1 Episode 7

Posted in Britain, England, Insanity, Modern World, Prison, UK with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 18/04/2010 by floroy1942

Last week has seen a bumper crop of weird news stories. Everything from an actors embarrassing moment, to prisoners making an imaginative escape.

Actor Channing Tatum was rushed to hospital during filming of his latest movie, The Eagle of the Ninth, with a rather embarrassing complaint. Many scenes called for him to wade through ice-cold water, and to protect him from the freezing temperatures a mixture of boiling and cold water was poured into his wet suit. It would seem someone in the film crew forgot to mix the boiling water with some cold to cool it down a bit and poor old Channing ended up getting his manhood severely scolded. Thankfully, after treatment he was, in his own words, “…..back on top, ….back in the game.” He could probably use the same advice I gave to a friend while he was deciding whether to get married or not; ‘Test the waters Old Boy, test the waters!!!”

Administrative bungling by governmental departments are nothing new as we all know, but a case this last week must rank among the top ten. Terence and Marilyn Walker, a retired couple who live in Cheadle Hulme Manchester, both sent their passports away for renewal. When they got them back, Marilyn Walker found the Passport Office had put her husbands photo in her passport! Much has been done to make British passports difficult to forge and various security checks are incorporated, such as holograms, laser dots and complicated watermarks, but it would seem the powers that be did not take into consideration one vital component – human error!!!

Argentinean Prison Officials have a great amount of egg on their faces after it was revealed that two prisoners, Maximiliano Pereyra and Arial Diaz, managed to escape from a top security prison near La Almeda dressed as sheep. It would seem they stole complete skins from a local ranch and after putting them on, along with a realistic looking sheep’s head, mingled with the sheep. Police officials have been quoted as saying that to identify the pair among a herd of a thousand sheep was impossible. Local people had seen the pair running through the fields at night and reported it. An obvious solution to the problem does come to mind. Release a few rams into the flock and grab the two ‘sheep’ that stand up and try to run!!!

An Australian publishing firm made a costly mistake when they printed a cookbook with a ‘minor’ typing error. The book, The Pasta Bible’, contained a recipe for tagliatelli with prawns and proscuitto which called for the adding of ‘salt and freshly ground black people’. It should have read ‘salt and freshly ground pepper’ but the mistake was discovered in time and 7,000 books had to be destroyed and a re-print ordered. That’s what happens when you trust a computer to proof-read something!!!

We all make mistakes, but it becomes extremely annoying when someone else’s error costs you a small fortune. Such is the case with a UK housewife and her electricity company. A Miss Drummond of Brampton in Cambridgeshire recently received an electricity bill for £10,196.59 because the company had been reading her meter wrongly, saying that is what she owed them. Miss Drummond said she had always been careful to check the usage and pay her bills on time, but this floored her. It would seem the company had only been reading four digits on her meter for the previous four years, but when they recently started to read five digits the error came to light. More fool them I say. It’s their mistake they should carry the loss. It wouldn’t be the first time someone got their digits in a mess, ask Channing Tatum!!!

What do you call a butcher without a sharp knife? Answer: A waste of space! But that does not seem to apply to the UK supermarket chain Sainsbury’s. A man went into the Penylan store in Cardiff and asked the butcher to remove the bone from a joint of lamb, only to be told that he couldn’t since his boss had told him he could not use a knife because he might cut himself! More Health and Safety madness! The butcher had been cutting meat for thirty years and had taught many of the young butchers how to cut meat but now he could not use a knife. The man went to the information desk and was told it was company policy for the butcher’s own safety. A spokesman for Sainsbury’s said all their butchers got special training on how not to cut themselves but the one in question had not received all the training. So what has he been doing for the last thirty years, slicing meat with his teeth???

An American university professor has gone on record advocating that UFO studies become a university legitimate subject. A lecturer at Niagra County Community College, Professor Phillip Hasely said that there are sufficient unknown and unexplained phenomena to warrant such a step. You can imagine the interview for some high flying job can’t you. Interviewer: “So you went to university did you?” Applicant: “Yes Sir” Interviewer: “What was your degree for young man?” Applicant: Unexplained Flying Objects Sir” Interviewer: “Thank you……NEXT!” Does anyone really believe we have been visited by aliens? I can just imagine the conversation when the explorer got back to the mother ship. “Find anything?” “Nah! Just some sub-culture with illusions of grandeur. Lets go!”

Until next time.

Roy.
