What A Farce

Britain is really going bonkers (and I put that politely). A Priory School in Lewes has gone so far as to ban skirts in order to introduce a more gender-neutral uniform.

The headmaster said, “Transgender students are only a small aspect of why we have made this decision, there are five or six trans-students currently at the school.” So the whole school has to wear a transgender uniform to satisfy these five or six queers?

I have a long time given up on Britain as a place to live, for the whole country is going mad. How long before other schools join the ‘transgender revolution’? It is sickening to me that such rules have to be passed to satisfy these people.

Several parents have criticised the move – especially since they weren’t consulted before the big change. One mother with a daughter at the school said that her daughter wasn’t happy with having her gender taken away. “My daughter said she has got a gender and it’s female so being gender neutral when she has got a gender is a big deal for her, as she’s proud to be a girl,” she commented.

“The hypocrisy is what gets me the most,” said another mum. “If girls dressing differently than boys is now to be considered sexist, then it is equally sexist to have female teachers wearing skirts and not wearing ties.” “If they want this, they must live the values they force on others and go fully gender free. The school is creating a hostile environment for girls by treating their views with contempt.”

Chief executive Susie Green said “adding gender neutral uniforms is one of many simple ways that schools can help any pupils struggling with their gender in any way. Schools need to take a clear line to accept and embrace all diversity, no matter how small the numbers affected.”

I find this most disturbing,  and wonder what the U.K. will be like in ten years time. It makes me wonder if Britain is going mad! What is our world going to look like in ten or twenty years time.

Where Are We Headed?

Posted in America, Britain, Conservation, Environment, European Union, Human Rights, Islamic State, News, Politics, Terrorism with tags , , , , on 07/01/2017 by floroy1942

Its the beginning of a new year, and if you think about it you have to wonder where the world is headed. 2016 was not a good year for many people across the globe, although we in the West have not suffered quite so much. Other parts of the world have seen a great deal of suffering with wars, terrorism, hunger and catastrophic bad weather. So what makes you think that 2017 will be any better.

Malaga City

Malaga City

Already western nations have seen the worst weather in decades, with floods, heavy snowfall and drought that have taken their toll on the people. Only a couple of months ago in Spain where I live, we saw massive flooding on the Costa Del Sol that is totally unheard of. Many areas of Europe and America have seen catastrophic drought and flooding, but in other parts of the world they have suffered even more.

One of the major topics during 2016 has of course been terrorist activity in many lands, including Europe. The sad thing is, it is a long way from being over. Almost every day there is a new outbreak of violence in country after country, the latest being Ivory Coast.

Beijing Smog

Beijing Smog

Another major problem is pollution in many areas of the world. You only have to look at the news and see the pollution in cities like Beijing in China among others, and it has recently been reported that the pollution in London is already over the limit, and we are only seven days into the new year. So you must ask, where is the world headed?

Unless humanity starts taking some firm measures to stop these things from happening it will end in complete chaos for mankind. It seems that no-one is taking any firm measures to combat these problems, not the United Nations or governments across the world.

On the question of terrorism and Islamic State the whole world should unite and put these people out of business, next they should do something about combating the pollution that is choking the world. Unless the governments of the world come together and do something about these problems there is no future for mankind on the planet.

ISIS Killing Children

ISIS Killing Children

If the nations of the world do make a united effort to put an end to the Muslim uprising, and all the other terrorist organizations, the world could return to peace. If they would agree on laws for example limiting one car to every family we could rapidly reduce the number of vehicles on the road from the more than a billion vehicles that are causing all this pollution. They should also make a concerted effort to help the poorer nations by giving them food to save those dying of hunger and helping poorer nations to care for their people.

The world is currently divided into rich nations and poor nations, but no-one is doing anything to even out the balance. Power is the cornerstone of modern living, and many people will do whatever it takes to maintain their postion in the world. They do not spare a single thought for the poorer nations, or the poor people of even their own country. Today its all about me, me, me!

All I can say is that if things do not change rapidly, mankind will will disappear into history within a few decades.

Where Is Our World Heading?

Posted in America, Britain, European Union, Islamic State, Muslim, News, Nuclear Weapons, Politics, Security Council, United Nations with tags , , , , on 09/11/2016 by floroy1942

Not since the Second World War have there been so many problems in our world as today. It makes me wonder what our future holds for us. On every continent there is trouble and strife, unbounded crime, often violent demonstrations by the public, and in many cases war.

What does the future hold for the human race? Are we headed for complete annihilation in a few decades? The steadily rising tensions between the United States and Russia are an indication that we could be headed for a nuclear war if someone doesn’t do something to cool down relations between the two countries.

This has all been brought about by the rising tensions over the battles raging in Syria because the Russians back Assad, while the West considers him a criminal.

The ISIS insurgency is causing major problems all across the world from the Far East to Western shores and currently there is no end solution. As I have often said, if the U.N. were to put together an international force to wipe out ISIS and all other Muslim insurgents wherever they appear we could return to peace, but they just don’t seem interested. So consequently we have many nations fighting this terrorist organisation and they cannot all agree on the way forward. This is causing tensions among many governments and has led to major disagreements between Russia and the western nations.

Also there is the rising tensions between China and many Far Eastern countries over control of the East and South China Seas, which China claims for itself. They have no right to do this, and many countries including Japan, are fighting against it.

On top of this we have the governments of many lands at loggerheads with the population in many parts of the world where people want a change of leadership. This is evident in places like South Africa, Venezuela, Libya, Yemen, Japan and even Singapore among many others. Unrest is spreading across the globe as more and more people are dissatisfied with their government. The world has never seen as many problems as we have now.

The big problem for mankind is, where will it all end? If Russia and the West cannot solve their problems we could see a nuclear war breaking out, and that would mean the end of life on this planet. The leaders of the world need to come together to work out plans for peace before we end up starting the Armageddon process from which there would be no turning back.

The United Nations (even the name is a farce for they are a long way from being united) needs to come together with no preconceived ideas, and talk to each other honestly and with sincerity if the human race is to survive.

All countries need to work together if we are to solve the tensions that exists between nations. On top of that, they need to discuss the many problems that face the world like famine, hunger, over population, climate change, and of course the threat of wars breaking out.

Ever since the United Nations stepped in to stop communists from taking over South Korea in 1950 it has done nothing but stand on the sidelines. There have been many high level discussions about problems in the world, but all have achieved nothing.

To my mind the United Nations has outgrown its usefulness for they seem incapable of solving any of the world’s problems. I have not heard yet of a top level meeting between the five nations of the Security Council to solve the ongoing problems between Russia and The West. You have to ask if they are capable of doing such a thing, for everyone is out for their own interests.

With the rising tensions across the world one would expect the U.N. to be in the forefront of attempts to make peace, but no, they just sit on their fat backsides and do nothing.

People in most countries not directly affected by these tensions go about their daily business without a care in the world, for they do not see the building of tensions among certain countries and what could ensue from this.

If mankind is to survive there has to be serious discussion and agreement on tackling the problems of the world, otherwise we are all lost. Lets hope that in the near future the people at the top will see the sense in this.

British Liberals Are Crazy!

Graduation

Graduation

I read an interesting article today about our university’s saying that a bunch of Liberals think that we should send even idiots to these places, and massage their exam results to make sure they pass all their exams.

A student who complained about her poor marks for an essay said she had a statement of Special Educational Needs. The teacher was hauled before the university authorities to explain why he had marked her so low. ‘Because it was awful work, the work of a cretin,’ he replied. The teacher was chastised for not taking into account that the student had ‘special educational needs’.

So what this comes down to is that if we have someone with say, dyslexia or ADHD, which is ‘Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder’, then the teachers should make allowances for this condition and artificially boost the marks. If you fail an exam all you have to do is tell the teacher that you have either of these two conditions and he will bump up your marks so that you pass.

University’s are supposed to be for our brightest and most intelligent youth who will then go on the be leaders in various areas of industry, politics and science. It leads me to believe that these Liberals are stark raving mad, and if this continues then a university education will count for absolutely nothing.

It is easy to get one of these certificates from the Education Health and Care plan for a whole host of real or fictional disabilities, so you are assured of passing all your exams. From the information available, it seems middle-class parents have been desperately trying to get certificates proving that their brats are ‘dyslexic’ rather than stupid. Plenty of scientific evidence suggests that both dyslexia and its counterpart ADHD are now so over-diagnosed as to make both terms almost meaningless.

The Dunce Cap

The Dunce Cap

The liberals complain that kids who have an aptitude for examinations, intellectual thought or academic investigation should be sent to schools where these qualities are prized and nourished, and this includes university’s. Others, who have no such aptitude, should not be condemned to attend schools where there are rather fewer academic expectations.

Only our brightest students should have the right to attend university, but what they are doing now is opening the gates to even the dumb and thick who have no right to such an education with a medical excuse that will make sure they graduate. This will surely bring down the level of education for all.

These educational centres are supposed to be for the brightest of our youth and give them a chance to enter industry or science etc. and help the world progress, but these Liberals are undermining the future of our country. No longer will these areas be staffed by the brightest and best of our youth, but be dragged down until it all becomes meaningless.

All of this is an attempt to make everybody equal, but the effect will be to bring the whole country down until we become a nation of dunces. If a teacher has to spend a lot of time explaining certain things to those who are too thick to understand, then the more intelligent ones will be twiddling their thumbs for a while before the lesson can continue.

Exam Time

Exam Time

I cannot imagine what would happen to our country if all our scientists, entrepreneurs, politicians and future teachers are so dumb they cannot even add two and two. But if this plan goes ahead this is what we will become.

Gone will be the advances in computer technology, science and a hundred other areas where we are striving to make our world better. It will become normal for a university degree to be absolutely worthless, and many will suffer because of it.

By Heck It’s Hot!

As many people know, global temperatures are going through the roof. It is a matter of record that again this year has been the hottest ever since monitoring began, and you have to ask where it will all end? Will next year be hotter as the temperatures continue to rise?

Holiday Fun On The Beach

Holiday Fun On The Beach

There can be little doubt that mankind is responsible for these changes in our atmosphere, for we have been polluting it ever since the turn of the century, and year on year it gets worse. With the increase in transport and factories over the last fifty years we have steadily been pumping more and more CO2 into the atmosphere than ever before, and year on year it is increasing. It is common sense that at some time in the future there must come a breaking point, at which time people across the world will start dying en masse.

We have had Climate Change Conferences attended by all the major nations in the world, but it would seem that although agreements have been reached, nothing really changes. The politicians are all ready to sign agreements, but when it comes to implementing them very little happens.

Traffic Jam

Traffic Jam

Climate conferences have been held annually ever since 1995, but when you look at the world outside your window, really nothing has changed. The number of polluting vehicles on our roads has not decreased, as it needs to do, but has in fact increased to well over a billion world wide. As people in places like China and India become more affluent, this number will increase even more.

Say what you like, but this number of vehicles on our roads is pushing so much pollution into the air that our Earth just cannot handle it any more. The same can be said for factories, especially in places like China and India that are not as technically advanced as the West.

This increased pollution of our atmosphere is leading to huge areas of drought in many countries, along with  flash flooding, even hurricanes and typhoons in areas of the world where such things have been unheard of in the past. It must make you wonder what life will be like in twenty years time if this keeps up.

To top all this off, we are destroying the only things they can tip the balance the other way, like the sea and forests and the soil.

Amazon Destruction

Amazon Destruction

When I was a youngster fishing fleets would go out and catch maybe a half ton of fish, but these days the huge vessels we have today catch 100 tons every time they lower the nets. In effect we are raping our seas of all marine life. On top of that we are steadily destroying the forests of the world, like the Amazon and many others.

What we don’t care about is that these things are the real life-blood of our planet, for they provide the oxygen that we breathe that keeps us alive. They absorb the CO2 that we put into the atmosphere and give us oxygen in return. Whatever you may think, nature is finely balanced, but so long as we continue to destroy that which gives us life you can be sure that eventually humanity will disappear from the planet. These days are approaching rapidly in historical terms because we are not doing enough to correct the balance.

Health_effects_of_pollutionIf mankind is to survive we have to make some very hard choices, but most people are not willing to do this because, at the moment, it doesn’t affect them. But you should think of your children and their children, for what sort of world are we going to give them? Will they be wearing a gas mask all day because the levels of pollution are so high? Will people be dying in their hundreds of thousands from pollution right, left and centre? What chance will your grand-children have to live a normal life?

These are all questions we must ask ourselves in this day and age, for if we are to ensure they have a good life then we need to do something now to stop the rot!

Pollution Levels

Pollution Levels

Governments must start taking the measures needed to stop the destruction of our home planet even though they will be unpopular with the people. To begin with they could restrict families to one car only which would greatly reduce the number of polluting cars on our roads. They can do this by improving bus and train services in towns and cities so it is no longer necessary to drive to work.

Earth In Big Trouble

Earth In Big Trouble

Some people seem to think that the electric car is one of the great solutions to our contamination problems, but we have to think logically about this. If everyone drove around in electric cars, which are non-polluting,  it would put a totally unsustainable load on power generating plants, which would be unable to cope.

Governments need to stop the destruction of forests world-wide, and ensure that new trees are planted wherever possible. Were we to have hundreds of new forests across the world this would go a long way to replenishing the oxygen that we all need.

Modern Trawler

Modern Trawler

Also we need to stop the literal rape and pollution of the seas for they too provide us with oxygen. Fish species are dying out at an unprecedented rate, and if we keep on the way we are going there will be none left. I remember when I was young that some cod were caught that were eight or ten feet long, but now you are lucky if they are four feet long. We are killing them off before they have a chance to grow.

Another thing we need to change is the steady destruction of the soil that is needed to grow crops to feed us. We are producing so much farm produce that we have destroyed the natural elements in the soil that allow crops to grow healthily. Farmers have for decades been spraying crops and adding synthetic nutrients to the soil in order to get crops to grow.

Air Pollution In The Future

Air Pollution In The Future

These chemicals are steadily poisoning our food and creating all sorts of sicknesses within the human body. They are slowly but steadily destroying the ground that we need to sustain us with food. Much of it also ends up in streams and rivers and finds its way eventually to the sea.

There can be little doubt that if mankind is to survive for another century, there must be some major changes in the way we live and care for our environment, and everyone must do their bit, and that includes you and me!

A Swiss Dilemma And A Warning To Europe

A Normal Showing Of Respect In All Swiss Schools

A Normal Showing Of Respect In All Swiss Schools

A row has broken out in Switzerland about the shaking of hands, and you can guess who is causing this controversy – the Muslims! The following article was sent to me by a friend and I thought it interesting enough to post here.

It certainly gives you an idea of the great divide that separates us westerners from our Muslim immigrants, and adds fuel to the belief that they will never fully integrate into our society even though we offer them a home free from strife and war.

“In Switzerland it has long been customary for students to shake the hands of their teachers at the beginning and end of the school day. It’s a sign of solidarity and mutual respect between teacher and pupil, one that is thought to encourage the right classroom atmosphere. Justice Minister Simonetta Sommaruga recently felt compelled to further explain that shaking hands was part of Swiss culture and daily life.

And the reason she felt compelled to speak out about the handshake is that two Muslim brothers, aged 14 and 15, who have lived in Switzerland for several years (and thus are familiar with its mores), in the town of Therwil, near Basel, refused to shake the hands of their teacher, a woman, because, they claimed, this would violate Muslim teachings that contact with the opposite sex is allowed only with family members. At first the school authorities decided to avoid trouble, and initially granted the boys an exemption from having to shake the hand of any female teacher. But an uproar followed, as Mayor Reto Wolf explained to the BBC: “the community was unhappy with the decision taken by the school. In our culture and in our way of communication a handshake is normal and sends out respect for the other person, and this has to be brought home to the children in school.”

Therwil’s Educational Department reversed the school’s decision, explaining in a statement on May 25 that the school’s exemption was lifted because “the public interest respect to equality between men and women and the integration of foreigners significantly outweighs the freedom of religion.” It added that a teacher has the right to demand a handshake. Furthermore, if the students refused to shake hands again “the sanctions called for by law will be applied,” which included a possible fine of up to 5,000 dollars

This uproar in Switzerland, where many people were enraged at the original exemption granted to the Muslim boys, did not end after that exemption was itself overturned by the local Educational Department. The Swiss understood quite clearly that this was more than a little quarrel over handshakes; it was a fight over whether the Swiss would be masters in their own house, or whether they would be forced to yield, by the granting of special treatment, to the Islamic view of the proper relations between the sexes. It is one battle – small but to the Swiss significant – between overweening Muslim immigrants and the indigenous Swiss.

Naturally, once the exemption was withdrawn, all hell broke loose among Muslims in Switzerland. The Islamic Central Council of Switzerland, instead of yielding quietly to the Swiss decision to uphold the handshaking custom, criticized the ruling in hysterical terms, claiming that the enforcement of the handshaking is “totalitarian” (!) because its intent is to “forbid religious people from meeting their obligations to God.” That, of course, was never the “intent” of the long-standing handshaking custom, which was a nearly universal custom in Switzerland, and in schools had to do only with encouraging the right classroom atmosphere of mutual respect between instructor and pupil, of which the handshake was one aspect.

The Swiss formulation of the problem – weighing competing claims — will be familiar to Europeans and Americans versed in Constitutional adjudication. In this case “the public interest with respect to equality” of the sexes and the “integration of foreigners” (who are expected to adopt Swiss ways, not force the Swiss to exempt them from some of those ways) were weighed against the “religious obligations to God” of Muslims, and the former interests found to outweigh the latter.

What this case shows is that even at the smallest and seemingly inconsequential level, Muslims are challenging the laws and customs of the Infidels among whom they have been allowed to settle [i.e., stealth jihad toward sharia dominance]. Each little victory, or defeat, will determine whether Muslims will truly integrate into a Western society or, instead, refashion that society to meet Muslim requirements.

The handshake has been upheld and, what’s more, a stiff fine now will be imposed on those who continue to refuse to shake hands with a female teacher. This is a heartening sign of non-surrender by the Swiss. But the challenges of the Muslims within Europe to the laws and customs of the indigenes have no logical end and will not stop. And the greater the number of Muslims allowed to settle in Europe, the stronger and more frequent their challenges will be. They are attempting not to integrate, but rather to create, for now, a second, parallel society, and eventually, through sheer force of numbers from both migration and by out-breeding the Infidels, to fashion not a parallel society but one society — now dominated by Muslim sharia.

The Swiss handshaking dispute has received some, but not enough, press attention. Presumably, it’s deemed too inconsequential a matter to bother with. But the Swiss know better. And so should we.

There’s an old Scottish saying that in one variant reads: “Many a little makes a mickle.” That is, the accumulation of many little things leads to one big thing. That’s what’s happening in Europe today This was one victory for the side of sanity. There will need to be a great many more.”

When a foreign country takes you in because your own is at war you would expect those who have been saved from war and death to be grateful, and assimilate into your society, respecting your laws and customs. In the modern world this is not happening, at least not with the Muslims. Their initial gratitude is short-lived and then they begin to assert their way of life on Europe.

Many will think that this another anti-Muslim rant reading this, but that just is not true. I am perfectly willing to live alongside these people if they respect us, our laws, and way of life. Sadly, they do not.

While all other religions have adapted to modern life and have kept up with the times, sad to say this is not true of the Islamic religion. With their rules and customs they are still living in an era of 2,000 years ago.

Muslims are literally brainwashed into their religion, for they are taught the Qur’an as soon as they are old enough to read, and they have no other choice. Try to leave the Muslim faith and you will be put to death.

The article states:  “They are attempting not to integrate, but rather to create, for now, a second, parallel society.I should think by now that most people in Europe, at least those with active brains, will see that the quoted sentence is justified.

In places all over Europe they have taken over districts of cities and towns and turned them into something resembling their own country, complete with Sharia Law. With their birthrate six or seven times that of ethnic Europeans they will outnumber us in say twenty or thirty years time, and then the troubles will really start. For there can be little doubt that from that time on they will try to take over the whole of Europe and to make it Muslim.

The people of Europe will not stand for this, so you can be sure there will be fighting between them and us. If they outnumber us who is to say who will win.

I am glad I old and will not be around to see it, but I pity my children and grandchildren who will have to live through this. There can be little doubt that European governments need to wake up to this hidden menace and take steps to stop it, for if they don’t, then all hell with break loose.

Humans Won’t Be Around Much Longer

OverpopulationA bold statement if ever there was one, but the way things are going on planet Earth, and the way we are messing things up, it could come true within a few decades.

I read with interest a report by NASA that this year has broken all records for being the hottest Spring in history. You can bet your life that we will see reports at the end of the year that the summer will also become the hottest on record. You have to ask how long this trend will continue?

We Are Not Complaining

We Are Not Complaining

Whether we like it or not our planet is changing, and not for the better, although some holiday makers may disagree. One of the major problems with the world hotting up is something we depend on to survive, i.e. water.

Already we have seen record droughts in various parts of the world which in turn threaten our food supply. Granted most people in the western world are not feeling the effects of such a thing at the moment because the supermarkets are still full. But what if this tendency continues?

Massive Ice Loss Since 1979

Massive Ice Loss Since 1979

Another major point is the loss of ice at the north and south poles. Huge areas have lost their ice cover as it melts and heads to the sea. This has already been reported as raising the sea levels, and it will get worse as time goes by.

Maldives - Soon To Be Underwater

Maldives – Soon To Be Underwater

Scientists have predicted that with the rising sea levels, places like Florida and many along the Californian coast among others will be lost to the sea. The rising sea levels are already affecting some coast dwellers. It is anticipated that the Pacific islands of the Maldives will disappear within twenty years as the rising sea covers them. I know I would never buy a house in any of these places.

Hail Storm Damage In India

Hail Storm Damage In India

We have seen unparalleled changes in the weather in many countries across the globe. The storms, flooding, rainfall and droughts which are not restricted to the Far East, are something we should be taking note of, even if it does not affect us at the moment, for it is a sign of things to come.

It is easy as we sit in the comfort of our homes to disbelieve everything the scientists tell us and pass it off as scaremongering. But you only have to look at what is happening across the world to see that they may just be right.

How It Is!

How It Is!

You and the wife still drive to work every day along with millions of others and think nothing of it, but when you do this you are adding to the problem, maybe only at an infinitesimal level, but so are billions of others, and in such large numbers it becomes a major problem for the environment.

Our CO2 emissions just cannot be handled by the Earth’s climate and it is steadily becoming more and more contaminated. Since the 1900’s the number of vehicles has risen to over a billion on the world’s roads, and it is increasing daily.

Industrial Air Contamination

Industrial Air Contamination

On top of this of course we have the industrial emissions. Factories that are still using coal as a source of power, and of course the electricity generating stations, are all adding to the CO2 levels on the planet. If we keep this up, very soon the planet will be so contaminated that human life will become extinct.

Another major contributor to this problem is the rampant birthrate in countries like India and China. As an example, the population of these two countries is greater than all other countries put together.

No Hope!

No Hope!

The world population has grown to such an extent that millions are dying of hunger and sickness, and there is no help for any of them. If the predictions are right, based on our current birthrate, the world population will grow to nine billion by 2040. These people are already suffering from major food shortages, so imagine what will happen by 2040. It could affect all of us!

Bold words and I guess the greater majority of people will scoff at this prediction, just as they do when we are warned by the scientists. But if we keep up our present lifestyle something has to give!

There can be little doubt that if humanity is to survive, fundamental changes have to be made to the way we live. As the old saying goes: ‘You can’t have your cake and eat it too!’
