Time To Disband Our Armed Forces?

Posted in Afghanistan, America, Britain, England, European Union, Human Rights, Justice, Terrorism, Terrorists, UK with tags , , , , on 25/10/2013 by floroy1942

We are heading for a situation where Britain cannot send our armed forces into combat in the air, on the seas or the land. Why? Because commanders dare not send an airman, sailor or soldier into a situation where he might get killed or wounded for fear of ending up in court.

This is all the result of taking both the Human Rights Charter and the Health and Safety laws too far, and the rampant ‘compensation culture’ currently prevalent in the United Kingdom today. This has been proven by families making compensation claims against the Ministry of Defense (MoD) for soldiers either wounded or killed in Iraq and Afghanistan who took the MoD to court and won!

Challenger Tank

Challenger Tank

Let me give you some examples: In 2003 a Challenger tank was hit by ‘friendly fire’ and as a result two soldiers died and two more were injured. The two survivors, and the families of the dead men were allowed to sue the MoD for negligence claiming insufficient training of the men. During the case, the families lawyers argued that although their deaths occurred on the battlefield, they did not happen in the “fog of war”, but were related to a decision about equipment made in the UK. My goodness, they were in a tank for crying out loud, what sort of equipment should the MoD have given them?

None of them realized that such an incident is always a possibility in the heat of battle, as has been amply demonstrated in every conflict, including the First and Second World War. Ask the American’s about ‘friendly fire’? They know more about it than anyone else, but it is a factor that all soldiers have to live with in war.

On Patrol

On Patrol

In 2006 two soldiers were killed when their land-rover was blown up by a roadside bomb. While I have the greatest sympathy with the relatives of the two men I find it intolerable that this case was allowed to take place. The families case rested on the fact that the two soldiers were not properly protected from a roadside bomb because their vehicle was insufficient for the job. Perhaps in their minds all our soldiers should go on patrol in a tank?

The MoD tried to get the cases thrown out because of the so-called combat immunity and the incidents did not take place in the UK. The idea of HR and H&S regulations applying to serving soldiers is just too ridiculous for words. It is bad enough that these people got our government to agree that a member of our Armed Forces could not open fire on anyone until they themselves were shot at. So in effect, if you turn a corner and there is an insurgent with his AK47 aimed at you, you cannot defend yourself until he fires first. In most cases that is a certain death sentence, but there again, the family will always be able to claim compensation from the MoD so that’s alright then!

Defusing an I.E.D.

Defusing an I.E.D.

Before anyone starts asking the question, I did my time in the Forces (12 years) and was in the thick of it so let’s not have any ‘holier-than-thou’ comments from the self righteous idiots who don’t even know which end of a rifle the bullet comes out.

Tom Tugendhat, who co-wrote the report said: ‘Over the past decade, legal steps based on the European Convention on Human Rights have undone safeguards Parliament drew up to ensure military commanders have the freedom of manoeuvre to make vital decisions on the ground. The armed forces neither are, nor should be, above or exempt from the law. But, imposing civilian norms on the military is deeply misplaced’. Quite correct Sir!

According to the report, the MoD faced 5,827 claims in 2012-13 and lawyers cost the cash-strapped ministry £36 million a year. That is all coming out of the tax payers pocket, and is money that could be better spent on giving our fighting forces the best equipment.

A Soldier Returns

A Soldier Returns

A litigation lawyer, Martin Day, is reported as saying: ‘We find it very disconcerting that the Government of law and order seem so intent on desecrating the legal system, ignoring the safeguards the law provides for all individuals and continues to act unlawfully through its many departments including the MoD. Greater adherence to the laws, both domestic and international, are the only way in which the MoD’s litigation will decrease’.

Defence Secretary Philip Hammond commented: ‘I remain concerned about the challenge to combat immunity arising from recent court judgments. These could make it more difficult for our troops to carry out operations in the future, and they potentially throw open a wide range of military decisions to the uncertainty of litigation. It cannot be right that troops on operations have to put the European Convention on Human Rights ahead of what is operationally vital to protect our national security’.

It does not matter whether its Iraq or Afghanistan or any other, war is war and people get killed. That is what you sign up for when you join the military, and if you and your family can’t take it, then ‘get the hell out of the kitchen’!

Finally, Some Common Sense From Science

Posted in America, Britain, Children, England, Environment, Europe, Health, News, UK, USA with tags , , , , on 20/10/2013 by floroy1942

WHOThe World Health Organization (WHO) has just released a report that states “the leading cause of lung cancer is air pollution”. It has always been my belief that air pollution from cars and factories has been a significant cause of this and many other sicknesses, and not the smoker who was deemed by all as the ‘Evil One’. For years, doctors and scientists have been blaming smokers for all the cancers in the world with their ‘Passive Smoking’ hype and telling everyone that if as a non-smoker you get lung cancer it is the fault of those evil smokers who pollute the atmosphere. Well, at last the truth will out, and it seems we smokers are not the ones to blame for all the vile diseases in the world.

Not As Big An Evil

Not Killing Everyone In A 100m Radius As We Were Told!

I am well aware that smoking heightens the risk of smoker’s contracting lung cancer and I do not take that lightly, but I have never subscribed to the idea that to sit across the room from a smoker you are bound to get it as some will have us believe. When I was young I often went to the cinema, and because there were no restrictions on smoking, the smoke inside was as thick as fog at times. It was an every day part of life, just as in the pubs, but the point I am making is that we did not have hundreds of thousands dying of lung cancer every year like we do now, the disease was practically unheard of. It was the same for every leading nation in Europe and North America.

1950's Industrial Scene - The Price Of Burning Coal

1950’s Industrial Scene – The Price Of Burning Coal

The one major thing that changed after then was that people became more affluent and had money to buy cars, evidenced by the fact that since the 1950’s the car population has exploded until we now have over a billion cars on the world’s roads. As you would expect, this came at a price i.e. a massive expansion of the pollutants entering the atmosphere. Not only cars but also the explosion of the manufacturing industry is to blame as more and more factories started up to provide us all with the luxury goods we crave like mobile phones, electric hair-dryers, cosmetics, computers and of course cars. The number of factories in the world has risen beyond imagination when compared to those far off days prior to 1960.

Air Pollutants

Air Pollutants

From the WHO data it becomes clear that our avarice will at some time in the future be the end of us, for as we want more and more so we add more deadly chemicals to the very air that we breathe, and eventually it will kill us! Harsh words for some, but I believe prophetic.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has quoted the fast rising economic and industrial expansion of countries like China and other East Asian countries that has resulted in smog in major cities such as we saw in major industrial centres in England in the 1950’s.

Bus Conductor Guides The Bus Driver

Bus Conductor Guides The Bus Driver

I remember a time in Manchester when I was about fourteen that my father made me walk in front of the car to show him the way because otherwise movement in the thick smog was impossible. It took us several hours to travel a few miles to get home.

The catalyst in those days was that since the birth of the Industrial Revolution, every factory and home burnt ordinary coal, and it was only in the 50’s and 60’s that we learnt how to to process coal into such things as coke and other smokeless fuels. Later came the nuclear age which was the cleanest of all, but we sat with the problem of disposing of used nuclear fuel rods. Thankfully for us, such times are history, but not in the Far East.

The Good Old Days

The Good Old Days

I find it amazing that for decades scientists have blamed the smoker for all the lung diseases of the world, and governments have willingly persecuted these people for their “Filthy Habit”, and many people give disgusted looks or shout abuse at those among us who enjoy it. I remember sitting in the front row of the smokers seats on an aeroplane when going on holiday. I was well within my rights to smoke then, but a Dutch woman in front of me turned and gave me a mouthful of abuse in a very loud voice that “I was killing her with my smoke”. Needless to say, she got short shrift from me. But all the hype against smokers has been exacerbated by continuing ‘scientific’ reports that if you are within 100 yards of a smoker the passive smoke will kill you.

The Effects Of Air Pollution

The Effects Of Air Pollution

Dr Kurt Straif, from IARC, said: “The air we breathe has become polluted with a mixture of cancer-causing substances. We now know that outdoor air pollution is not only a major risk to health in general, but also a leading environmental cause of cancer deaths.” Cancer Research UK said it was not a surprise. I am no scientist but I reported on the link between air pollution and cancer up to two years ago because to me it was obvious. Thankfully science has now caught up.

The Harmful Effects of Air Pollution

The Harmful Effects of Air Pollution

What has also come to light is that charity organizations like Cancer Research are down-playing the WHO results, probably because it will affect future donations and goes against everything they have been preaching to the masses for the last thirty years i.e. that tobacco smoke is the number one killer. Dr Julie Sharp, the head of health information at the charity, said: “It’s important that people keep the risk from air pollution in perspective. Although air pollution increases the risk of developing lung cancer by a small(??) amount, other things have a much bigger effect on our risk, particularly smoking.” (Oh yes! Let us admit we may have made a mistake, but after all it was was only a teensie weensie one wasn’t it!).

So where do we go from here? That’s a very big question with a very expensive answer! The WHO is asking governments to begin taking action to curb emissions in a big way. They can do this if they wish, but the measures required would be very unpopular with the masses who invariably know nothing of the risks to mankind’s future, and are only interested if it impacts their daily lives. Few people have the brains to look forward and imagine what our current greed is doing to the lives of our children and grand-children, and even their children.

New York City Skyline At Night - A Shocking Waste Of Power, And It's Everywhere

New York City Skyline At Night – A Shocking Waste Of Power, And It’s Everywhere

To clean up the air we breathe before it kills us all we have to make major inroads into our current way of life. It may be as some advocate, finding cleaner sources of energy but in my opinion that is a pipe dream unless you are talking about nuclear power stations. We would be far better off making huge cuts in the amount of energy we use because so much of it is pure waste, like city office blocks with all their lights on all night, garish advertising boards that stay on all night, and all the little electrical gadgets we have around the home like electric toothbrushes, hair dryers and juice mixers. They all add up to a monumental waste of all the world’s precious resources and add to the pollution unnecessarily.

One Of The Largest Polluters

One Of The Largest Polluters

Next in line is of course the motor car, for this is perhaps the biggest polluter of all with over a billion cars on the road. Some families have three and four cars between them, father, mother, son, daughter etc. There will come a time when governments will have to step in and make it law there will be no more than one car per family. Vehicles are a double danger, for not only do they pollute the air in our cities and towns, but are also consuming natural resources at an ever increasing rate, and what will you do when the oil tap is closed for the last time? Keep going on at the rate we are and I can see mankind going back to the horse as a means of transport.

Is This YOUR Child's Future Because Of Our Own Excess?

Is This YOUR Child’s Future Because Of Our Own Excess?

Whichever way you look at it, we all have to start consuming less and reduce emissions drastically if our children, and theirs, are to have a world to live in. It starts with each an every one of us – No-one else!

The Creeping Menace In Our Schools

Posted in Britain, Children, England, English Schools, Immigrants, Muslim, News, Parenting, Primary Schools, UK with tags , , , on 18/10/2013 by floroy1942

Just about everyone knows about the shameful state of our education system caused by the lowering of standards by the previous Labour government in order to impress with high exam pass rates, but now a new problem has become evident that could destroy whatever chance our young children have of gaining a good education. It has been highlighted in the press recently that there are at least 240 schools in England where English is not the number one language, and I have to ask several questions about this fact.

First of all, how can it be that any English school must have a number of dual language teachers on the staff? What effect is this having on English children at such a school? Are the learning capabilities of English children, who are a distinct minority, being sacrificed in the name of catering to ethnic minorities? Why are immigrant children even allowed in English schools if they cannot speak the language? We will take these one by one.

Sacred Heart Primary School in Tipton

Sacred Heart Primary School in Tipton

Sky News went to the Sacred Heart Primary School in Tipton to find out what the situation is. In the school a scant 5% are English, with the rest coming mainly from Bangladesh and Pakistan backgrounds. While most of the immigrant children do speak passable English and integrate well, there are still those who have not yet mastered the language and require help from bilingual staff. While every effort is made to teach the young children English, it is in my view not enough. I believe that English children will be held back by the teacher constantly having to explain in detail to immigrant children certain points they do not understand because of the language barrier. Where this is common-place, children with English as their first language will be sat twiddling their thumbs while all this takes place and it will put them at a distinct disadvantage. The ethnic mix within the school means there are children who speak Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, French, Polish and Tamil as well as English. When the English children make up only 5% you can see for yourself where this is going.

Computers In The Classroom

Computers In The Classroom A Good Idea? I Think Not

I reported some time ago about a school that spent a huge amount of their budget on purchasing translator software for classroom computers to help immigrant children understand the lessons. Sorry, but to me they should be taught English first, before they start school not using such software to talk to their teacher and vice versa.

It is a fact that children learn languages very fast, and that is a good thing, but for any child to fully understand everything they are taught they need to be not only fluent, but also grasp what is said. It is a sad fact that many immigrant families take little or no action to ensure their offspring learn the language of the country they are living in. The main concentration is always for their mother tongue, mainly because the parents are not interested in learning the language of their adopted country. It is also a fact that many of the immigrant families, in particular the Muslims, have no wish whatsoever to integrate fully into our society. They want the perks that we offer them, but otherwise they ignore us.

Typical Multi-Racial Class At Sacred Heart

Typical Multi-Racial Class At Sacred Heart

The majority move into areas like Tower Hamlets, Leeds or Bradford, where whole sections of the community have been taken over by their fellow countrymen and they treat the place like an extension of their own country. When everyone around you is either from Pakistan or Iraq there is no incentive to learn the English language or customs, The area becomes an extension of your homeland. This is passed on to their children, and hence the problems when it is time for them to attend school. But more the pity that the education of the minority English children has to suffer while they catch up.

While the head teacher, Melanie Gee says that all lessons are given in English, however, Helen Pflaumer, the Ethnic Minority Achievement Leader (my goodness – what a silly title. Why do we need these people?) at Sacred Heart, said they encourage the children to interact with staff in English the majority of the time but “There may be an occasion where if they want to discuss something in more depth we can say use your home language if that’s going to be easier for you”. Fine, but what are the English pupils doing during this explanation? Answer:- Twiddling their thumbs because the lesson has to stop for them. OK, I admit I may be wrong, but to me this is dragging back English pupils who cannot get the benefit of proper flowing lessons because of the foreign language interruptions.

International Opinion

International Opinion

In my opinion, no immigrant child should be allowed into an English school unless they have an acceptable skill level in our language. They live in England for crying out loud, and should adhere to our way of life in these matters. It should not be up to the host nation to bend the rules to cater for these people, they moved here of their own free will, grabbed our handouts with both hands and were given a home to live in, so they need to comply with our rules and ensure they integrate properly.

When I lived in Holland, immigrants were offered free courses in the Dutch language by the government which lasted for about three months. They were sufficient to give pupils a thorough grounding in the language so they could communicate easily. Perhaps it is time for the British government to do the same. In my view, anyone wishing to come here should receive this course in English and take an exam at the end, and if they have not mastered the language sufficiently, should be sent back where they came from until they have an acceptable standard.

Immigrants must be told quite clearly that Britain is not a give-away state and they will not be allowed to enter unless they have a job. No unemployment benefit, no children’s allowance or health care until they have paid into the system for a minimum of two years. It must be made clear from the start that apart from their wife and children, Britain will not allow any further members of their family into the country except for a short visit. I for one am tired of us allowing in one man, who is then followed by his wife, children, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces. This abuse of the system has to be stopped stone cold dead, and very soon.

The Labour Cabinet That Destroyed Britain

The Labour Cabinet That Destroyed Britain

If we go back to the root of this problem we find that the great architect of this grand ‘Multi-Cultural Britain’ was, as everyone knows, the previous Labour government who sold the entire country down the river. We have all seen the effects on the NHS, housing, jobs etc., but this current problem with children’s education is just the beginning of the aftermath, and a direct legacy of that government’s policies. Once these young children get into the next grade of schools we can only hope that their English language skills have improved enough so as not to drag their fellow English students down as they do now.

Landfall - If They Are Lucky

Landfall – If They Are Lucky

Over the last week there has been not one, but several incidents regarding loss of life among people from Africa and the Middle East trying to get to Europe by boat. One boat sank with the loss of 369 lives off the coast of Lampedusa Italy, another sank off the coast of Malta with thankfully less lives lost, but still they come. Without doubt these are desperate people, the majority fleeing the fighting in many countries caused by Islamic groups like al Shabaab, the sectarian violence in Iraq, and of course the fighting in Syria. Many are coming in the hope of making a better living for themselves in Europe, the so-called ‘economic migrants’. Whatever their reason, the numbers are increasing daily as more and more make their way to some spot on the North African coast in the hope of making it across the Mediterranean.

The tragedy of this whole saga, is that these desperate people are being used by gangs as a means of making huge amounts of money by ‘Trafficking in Misery’ if you want to give it a name. It is easy to understand why these people wish to come to Europe, the first being, they are no longer shot at and terrorized by despicable Muslim insurgents who are undermining governments in poor countries with the idea of taking over and forming a Muslim state under their control.

No Parent Should Have To Watch Their Child Dying Of Hunger

No Parent Should Have To Watch Their Child Dying Of Hunger

Second is the sheer poverty in which many of these people live, with little food or water and no decent home. Europe to them is a shining beacon in the darkness where they will eat decent food, sleep in a bed, get a job and be able to support their families, or in Britain’s case, get it all for free without having to work. They do not care how they get here, just so long as they do.

Overloaded Refugee Boat

Overloaded Refugee Boat

But sad to say, there are evil people out there who see this as an easy way to make lots of money. Buy an old leaky boat, fill it well beyond capacity with desperate people, and charge $1,000 per person for the trip across to Europe. If the boat sinks halfway across who care’s, there are plenty more customers where they come from. If the boat by any chance makes it there and back it can be filled up again.

A Sinking Refugee Boat

A Sinking Refugee Boat

Sometimes these gangs fight among themselves and then we see a situation like that off the Libyan coast a few days ago. The boat was full of Syrian refugees and was shot at last Friday by gang members as it left the coast of Libya, and some were badly wounded before they even got out of territorial waters. The boat made it close to Malta before it too sank, leading to the deaths of 31 people and the rescue of a further 200. At a thousand dollars a head that is a minimum of $231,000 profit, minus the cost of the boat of course. That is just from one boatload of desperate people who will do anything to get away from war, terrorism and deprivation.

In all, 15,000 people made the journey to Italy and Malta from North Africa in 2012, but that has now risen to 30,100 in the first nine months of this year, more than double, and the year is not over yet.

The one thing we can be sure of is that this figure is going to continue to rise year on year as more and more desperate people look to the ‘Promised Land of Europe’ for a better life.

Immigrant Numbers

Immigrant Numbers

Britain is already overcrowded with immigrants, evidenced by the virtual collapse of the National Health System, the Benefits System, the lack of housing and rising unemployment. Most immigrants will travel right across Europe to get to Britain for its free handouts with its lax rules brought in by Tony Blair and Gordon Brown during the Labour years. Other countries like Holland, Germany, France, Italy and Spain have also taken in immigrants, but not in such huge numbers and their handouts are much tighter controlled. Few immigrants want to move to Poland, Chechnya, Slovakia, Serbia or Romania because the standard of living is not as high as the Western European nations and they will get no handouts there.

The migrant numbers will steadily increase year on year until we reach a stage where the whole of Western Europe is full and cannot take any more. Then all hell will break loose. It is easy to say, as most people do; “Send them back where they came from” but it is not that simple. It will not stop them trying again and again for such is the behaviour of desperate people.

Africa - The Dying Continent

Africa – The Dying Continent

Whether you believe it or not, Africa is a dying continent, particularly in the north. Year long droughts are commonplace in countries like Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Sudan and others bordering the Sahara, there is little land to support any agricultural activity, and precious water is becoming more scarce as the years go by. In perhaps another ten or fifteen years this land, and all the nations upon it will be practically unlivable except for the few. As you would expect, this will cause a mass migration to lands where life is more sustainable, and guess who will be in line, you got it, Europe.

So now we come to the big question, what to do about it? In my opinion the first thing we need to do is shut down the trafficking gangs, and secondly we need to put an end to this ‘Holy War’ that the Muslims have started, both of which will take an international effort. The first is a purely a police, and perhaps military matter, where all resources are used to track down and put out of business these traffickers in misery. The second, as you would expect, is much more difficult and will take some time.

Muslim Militants

Muslim Militants

To put all these insurgent groups out of action needs the cooperation of Arab States, and the Muslim people as a whole to condemn what these people are doing. They should let these groups know they are not fighting for the good of Islam, and what they are doing is against the Muslim scriptures. This is a Muslim problem that needs to be solved by Muslims, for if it is only western nations that take on the task, as now, it will only incite more hatred and play into the hands of these groups by driving even more Muslims into their arms. I do not believe the current methods, as employed by many western nations, is going to solve the problem. We have to convince the Arab States and the Muslim people that this is the only way, a united effort.

Are these two measures attainable, well, the first maybe, but the second is doubtful unless the leaders of Islamic nations can be persuaded to take part.

Africa Migrant Routes To Europe

Africa Migrant Routes To Europe

One thing that will work above all others is for the rich Western nations to do something positive about conditions in these poor countries. Use whatever means is necessary to ensure an ample water supply for crops, better housing and education, and help these countries to grow out of the 200 year old time trap they are caught in.

The Expanding Sahara

The Expanding Sahara

There have been discussions with scientists over the years about the deteriorating situation in North Africa, and they are of the opinion that trees should be planted to change the weather patterns for the region. Sounds fanciful I know, but it is a proven fact that trees in sufficient numbers generate rain, and the idea of planting a few million trees along the border of the Sahara desert would bring rain to those areas and stop the desert sand from encroaching further, which it currently is, year on year.

Our constant removal of land-sized areas of rain forest across the world is one of the reasons we now suffer from climate change, and yes I know, many think this is rubbish, but data gathered over time proves it to be true.

Something We Take For Granted, But Life To These People

Something We Take For Granted, But Life To These People

In many parts of North Africa there is water in the ground but the local people have neither the resources nor the equipment to drill for it, and so they die. We do have the technology and equipment.

I am well aware that western people worship the almighty God of profit above all other things, and we have become greedy beyond description, but this is the future of our planet and our nations that is at stake for generations to come. If the governments of wealthy nations could come together to provide these people with a reasonable standard of living they would no longer be compelled to try and enter Europe in droves in the future.

Herein Lies The Future Of The World - Working Together

Herein Lies The Future Of The World – Working Together

I am well aware of how simple it is to sit down and write about this and put forward suggestions, but the germ of an idea must start somewhere, and if it is passed on then maybe our politicians can eventually be made to see the error of their current ways and governments might get the idea that they must start working together to head off this catastrophe that is coming our way.

If the world population continues to grow at its current rate the planet will be unable to sustain such numbers in many parts of the world, and this will mean wars on an unprecedented scale as the poorest and most deprived among the world population start to fight the richer nations for the basics of survival.  Only some form of action now to improve the lot of these people will head off this terrible event.

How Much Longer Must We Tolerate Muslim Extremists?

Nigerian College Victims - Shot While Asleep

Nigerian College Victims – Shot While Asleep

Once again Muslim extremists from the group Boko Haram have gone on a killing spree, this time in an agricultural college in north-eastern Nigeria. According to reports they entered the student dormitories and opened fire on those sleeping there without warning. It would seem that as many as fifty students were slaughtered in this massacre, many burned alive when the insurgents set fire to the dormitories. This has shown the world once again the unmitigated brutality and ruthlessness of these Muslim fanatics.

As I am sure you are aware, this follows closely on the heels of the shopping mall incident in Nairobi by the Somalian group al-Shabaab that caused another fifty-two deaths.  Africa has been hard hit with insurgent groups fighting in Sudan, Somalia, Mali, Nigeria and now Kenya among others.

In Nigeria in particular, Boko Haram are fighting because they wish that country to be Muslim, despite the fact that more than 50% of the population are Christian. These fanatics will not give up their goal until they have achieved it, or they are all dead.

Christian Victims In The Phillipines

Christian Victims In The Phillipines

In many countries across the world, from the Middle East to Indonesia, these extremists are wantonly killing innocent people to get what they want – A Muslim state with their barbaric Sharia Law.

It was started by al Quada twelve years ago with the infamous 9/11 attack, and since then, more than one hundred splinter groups like Boko Haram and al-Shabaab have sprung up all across the globe, but they all have the same aim. They kill indiscriminately in  the name of Allah, and the authorities do not seem able to stop them.

Malala - A Young Girl Shot By The Taliban For Wanting An Education

Malala – A Young Girl Shot By The Taliban For Wanting An Education

In Pakistan the Taliban have free reign over much of the north eastern territories, killing Christians and any young Muslim girls who wants an education. Over time it has been very clear that the Pakistan government is not prepared to take decisive action to rid the world of these people. Many believe, and I am one of them, that they secretly support the terrorists.

The people of Afghanistan went through a period of hell when the Taliban ruled the country, and it was only thanks to western powers that they were finally driven out. There are records enough of their brutality when they ruled the country so I do not need to reiterate them here.

Far eastern countries have seen countless attacks on Christian communities and it is clearly an attempt to rid the world of Christianity and replace it with the Muslim faith.

The sad thing about all this is, that most countries sit back and do nothing for fear of the ‘war’ ending up on their doorstep. There is no international effort to help rid the world of these people.

Victims Of Terrorism

Little Victims Of Terrorism

If I had my way, every country on Earth would concentrate on wiping these vermin out, and they would do it together. Each and every country should ensure these people have nowhere to hide, for just like in Afghanistan, when the army get close they just crossed over into Pakistan until the heat died down. The same thing happened in Africa with the terrorist groups crossing over the border after an attack or when the army made it too hot for them.

In my view, the army of the neighbouring country should have had a force waiting for them when they crossed the border and left them with nowhere to hide. This makes sense to me both politically and militarily. This would have been particularly useful on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, for when NATO forces got too close and the insurgents crossed the border there was no-one from Pakistan to greet them with a bullet. As you would expect, once the NATO forces withdrew they crossed back into Afghanistan again.

I am not a politician, nor an army general, but even I can see that the only way to put these people out of business is for all countries to cooperate in ridding us if them once and for all.

Quite some time ago I read of a very effective solution to the Muslim insurgent problem that we really do need to put into practice today.

Gen. John J. Pershing - A Man Of Vision

Gen. John J. Pershing – A Man Of Vision

It happened in 1911 in The Philippines when an American general, Gen. John J. Pershing, was in charge of a garrison. His men had suffered repeated attacks from Islamic terrorists and he solved the problem quickly and easily.

Muslims have a pathological fear of pigs, which they consider to be an unclean animal! They believe they will never go to heaven, or their version of it, and get their 72 virgins if they have come in contact with pigs.

Captured Terrorists

Captured Terrorists

Pershings’ plan was simple, when he caught a small group of insurgents alive he first made them dig their own graves and then brought in some pigs which his men slaughtered. He had his men rub their bullets in the pig fat and blood before they loaded their weapons. The watching terrorists were horrified because they knew they would never get to heaven contaminated in this way.

Pershing has his men shoot all but one of the prisoners and made the last one watch while his men smeared the bodies with pig fat and blood and covered them in the innards of the dead pigs. This one prisoner was allowed to escape and report what had happened to his fellow fighters.

This treatment, that some may consider barbaric, made such an impact on the Islamic fighters that there was not another attack in the Philippines for a further fifty years.

Such is the extent of the Islamic terrorist threat today that this is exactly the measure that we need to take to solve this crisis. There can be little doubt that any insurgent who knows he will be buried in pig blood and entrails will forget his desire to subjugate other people to the barbarity of Muslim law and return to being happy with what they have. We need only make an example of a few along with the threat of such action being continued with not only those captured, but those killed by our forces and I am sure the insurgency will fade away. This would be doubly effective for any insurgent leaders that are captured. For all the Human Rights idiots who would think this is unacceptable, I would answer that why should we show mercy to them when they show none to those they slaughter?

All we need now is governments to have the balls to carry out this action. Naturally there will be uproar among many Muslim nations, but let’s face it, if they are not actively assisting and encouraging these terrorists like Iran for example, they at least do nothing to stop them.

I think the ball is in our court!
