Is Brexit A Good Thing For Britain?

BrexitOur country was almost split in half by the referendum, with a 17+ million lead in voting for Brexit, so where does that leave us? Well, so far as the losing side is concerned, many are clamoring for a second referendum, but I don’t think that will solve the problems. We have voted by a majority to leave and that is that.

Demonstration For Europe

The Young Demonstrate For A Return To Europe

Over the last six days we have seen demonstrations, and gloom because the pound fell and the FTSE fell dramatically, giving everyone the impression that we were heading down a deep hole. But look at the situation now, just six days later, and the pound is back up, the FTSE is back up and so are most of the other financial indicators. Many who thought about this hard, and I was one of them, knew that everything would bounce back after a few days.

The country’s youth are crying out for us to get back in the E.U., but for what reason? Do they think the flow of immigrants will cease if we get back in? Do they think we can regain control of our justice system from the Human Rights Commission that have turned it into a farce? Do they honestly think we can retain control of how our country is run once those idiots in Brussels initiate their plan to formalize the ‘Union of European States’?

European Commission

These People Decide What We Can And Cannot Do!

As I said in my last post, already the European Commission is making more than 53% of our laws, and we are fast coming under the heel of the Brussels jackboot! If we continue under their leadership they will be running the whole country, and its not just us, but every country in the bloc.

If you really think about it we have got out just in time, for I do not want to be fully controlled by those un-elected fools in Brussels. You cannot think of just the here and now, you have to take into account what will happen in the future. Already they have plans for every nation in the union to have the twelve gold stars of the Union prominently imprinted on every national flag.

Why the Scottish people are so up in arms about staying in the Union I really cannot guess, for they are surely shortsighted if they think their country will be better off in it. Considering all the points I have already mentioned I doubt if they will be happy being just a tiny cog in a huge machine with the Commission deciding what they can and cannot do. For once these people take over control of all the nations in the bloc, the Scottish M.P’s will be standing in the dole queue. You need to look ahead before you decide what path you will follow, and they certainly have not done that. I might say that goes for all the young people who voted to stay.

Wing Construction

Airbus Wing Construction In Britain

Many say we are headed for trouble because we will lose heavily in trade with the Union, but that is not so. Most companies are not going to suddenly rip up contracts with British companies because we have left. We have one of the best manufacturing bases in Europe and our expertise is widely known. In my last post I mentioned that Airbus will not be cancelling its contract for the airbus wings that are made in Britain, and many other companies will follow.

On top of that, already countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada and many more have expressed their interest in doing trade with us. So in effect, we will be heading once more for a global trading system that served us well in the past.

Britain is far from dead, in fact we are awakening from the deep sleep we have been in since 1975. I see in the future a lot of international trade, and our country will rise out of the mud it has been stuck in for a long time. We will be free to make our own choices, make our own laws once again, and rid ourselves of all these benefit draining parasites that are living here at the expense of every true Brit. It will then be possible to enact laws that do not allow any benefit payments until those that require them have paid into the system for perhaps three or four years, much like Germany.

Muslim Rapists

Our Great Shame

We will be able to rid ourselves of Muslim rapists and criminals that are clogging up our prison system, and shut the door to all the benefit seeking migrants. Only those with qualifications would be allowed in to fill jobs that need filling. The rest we turn away.

We will also be able to regain control of our education system which at the moment is being taken over by immigrants. Immigrant children are being sent to our schools without any knowledge of the English language, and our children are suffering heavily because many classes are given in Arabic by immigrant teachers. Our children are left on the wayside and cannot get a proper education. What does that say for the future of our children? You won’t be able to change any of this if we remain in the E.U., because Brussels insists we maintain open borders and lay out the welcome mat!

It's Done

Time To Cut The Ropes

So if you are one of those who think we should remain in the Union, think about this for a while. Britain needs to control its own destiny, and the only way to do that is for us to make our own decisions on what we do, and not be dictated to by Brussels. So out is the only way. In less than five years time the population of Britain will be very grateful that we took this step today.

We were once the greatest nation on this planet, and although we will never see those days again, we will survive, and at least be free to decide our own future.

Brexit – A Message For Young People

Posted in America, Australia, Britain, Canada, England, European Union, News, Old Age Pensioner, Parliament, Teens with tags , , , , on 29/06/2016 by floroy1942

So Brexit has won and now the whole country is going mad – why? Our young people are up in arms because they lost the vote to stay in the Union, but it seems that not one of them has evaluated the situation properly.

In my view they should all calm down instead of demonstrating outside Parliament, and wait and see what happens, as should many other people who were against the break. At the moment we have no idea what will happen in the near future, but I can assure you that when all the hubbub dies down and reason returns, things will not be as bad as they currently seem. The reason I say this is because the Union has as much to lose as we do.

Brexit!Firstly, we have to wait until the negotiations with Brussels begin to see how things turn out. Once cooler heads start talks we will have a better picture of how the future will look. As you would expect, there is a lot of disgruntled people in Brussels who are saying they will make it hard on Britain to leave.

Most of those are people in the Commission who are deadly afraid that other nations will follow Britain and hold a referendum. They are desperately afraid of the results, which could mean that many other countries will follow Britain’s lead.

If the European Union collapses completely this would result in them being out of a job and lose not only their power, and but also their numerous monetary benefits. You have to remember that none of these people were voted into power, and indeed, have no right to run the Union. Why nations have accepted this up until now is beyond me.

Our youth voted to stay in because they are totally unaware of what is happening to the the Union. We are coming more and more under the control of Brussels as are all the other countries in the bloc.

uk-law-brussels-flags

As the above graph shows (Official Figures), Britain is rapidly losing its capacity to govern this country as more and more regulations and decisions are made in Brussels. They are slowly taking over all decisions and dictating to us what we should do, and how. Anyone dumb enough to think that this will stop is a fool, because it will never end, and they will finally be in complete control of our country. We have to make those who are demonstrating against Brexit aware of what is really happening.

This is one of the reasons why older people, who are much more ‘world wise’, voted against the E.U., for many have the life experience and knowledge to see what is happening. You cannot say that about the young, for they have not yet learned about the way the world works.

All the cries to hold a second referendum will do no good, for the leaders in Brussels have already said they will not honour the result of such a thing. For them the die is cast, the people have spoken and that is an end to it. So what we need to do now is sit back, relax, and see what comes out of the negotiations.

Airbus WingsI don’t believe it will be that bad for Britain because the Union has as much to lose as we do. Trade may change a little, but there are many companies in Europe that rely on our goods, and will not want to start searching for new sources of supply. Airbus have already said they will not search for new manufacturers of wings for their Airbus planes, and there are many more such companies.

One of the big things in our favour is that countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada and many more look forward to doing business with us again. It may take some time after the Brexit becomes final, but trade will pick up and we will be doing what we did before the European Union came along.

Already the pound and the FTSE are beginning to rally after the huge drops we saw immediately after the results of the referendum were made known, and as I said before in previous posts, we may go through a hard time, but it will be short and we will come out much better off than we were before.

It doesn’t help to get all ‘hot under the collar’ and start screaming for a new referendum, because all we need is a little patience and the whole problem will sort itself out. I firmly believe that this country will be far better off, and have a much better future once we get out from under the jackboot of the E.U.

My advice is to relax and see what comes out of the negotiations with Brussels in a few months time, for it may not be as tough as many people think.

Brexit – The Aftermath

Posted in America, Benefits, Britain, English Schools, European Union, Human Rights, Immigrants, News, Police, Teens with tags , , , , on 25/06/2016 by floroy1942

Criticism is being hurled about by all and sundry after the result of the Brexit vote was made known, and I for one think that people should calm down and wait and see what develops.

Its’s no good going off at half-cock just because everyone did not agree with your vote. I agree, the results were close but those who voted to remain must take a step back and see what comes out of this referendum.

London

London – The City

In London it seems that half a million people have demanded a rerun of the vote because it did not go their way, but why should we? Some may be afraid for their jobs in The City, but I doubt very much that thousands of jobs will be lost because banks and international companies are going to move out of the U.K., for that would be very very expensive, and they will lose all of their experienced staff.

No-one has any idea of the agreements that will be made with the E.U. after the babble has died down. Negotiations will be entered into in the coming months, and it would seem to me that most companies will stay right where they are if the right agreements are obtained. All this panic may well be for nothing.

European Union

European Union

As to the ludicrous idea of London declaring ‘independence’ from the rest of the country, that is the most stupid thing I have heard in years. Which idiot came up with that idea? Do the people of London honestly believe that it can still be a part of the European Union while the rest of the country is not! Come on people! Get a grip and start thinking sensibly!

There can be little doubt that once the initial furor has died down and sensible minds begin negotiating with the rest of the E.U., there will be agreements made that will satisfy all sides. This is just as much in the interests of E.U. countries as it is for Britain. There is no point in going off half-cocked.

I am well aware of the ‘hateful’ rhetoric that is coming from some E.U. politicians at the result, but that is nothing more than reaction to the fact they lost. Later, in proper negotiations cooler heads will rule.

From reading news items it seems that most of our young people voted to stay in, but they are not as wise yet as the old folks. Many of us older folks can look forward to what will happen with the European Union, we don’t just think of the ‘here and now’.

Un-elected Leaders

Un-elected Leaders

What most of the younger members of our society do not realize is that we are heading for the ‘United States of Europe’ under the complete control of those idiots in Brussels. Eventually our own government will be put out of a job and we will all be following dictates from Brussels. Don’t forget that not one of our E.U. leaders has actually been voted into office by the populace.

BananasAs a young person would you really want to dictate to all of Europe that bananas must be a certain shape and size, and that cabbages must be round. These are to give you an idea of the stupid rules that Brussels tried to pass on to Europe some time back. Why is the shape of bananas and cabbages so important, answer me that! These are but two examples of what those fools in Brussels have done, so do you think they will be capable of running 28 countries with different traditions and way of life? If we stayed in this is what we would be heading for, the country being run by idiots who have no idea of British values.

As a further example, look what the Human Rights fools have done to our Justice system. Nowadays, you can murder someone and get no more than three or four years in prison, despite being sentenced to twenty or thirty years in the courts.

Our prisons are full to overflowing with foreign criminals, mostly Muslim, yet we can’t deport them. Hell! We can’t even deport those who came into the country illegally.

We have no control over immigrants coming into the country, despite what Cameron said about restricting entry to 100,000 a year. They are still flooding in, and what are they looking for? Benefits!

Old Age Pensioner In The Cold

Old Age Pensioner In The Cold

Our own old people have to choose between eating and staying warm in the winter because we cannot afford to help them. Sadly, many of them die in loneliness. In the meantime immigrants are taking home huge sums of tax payers money because they have ten children, a father, mother, uncle, aunt and grandparents to feed. Please don’t try to convince me that this is the right thing to do! We should be taking care of our own first, not molly coddling those who come here for benefits.

What about all the changes that Muslim immigrants are making to the fabric of this nation. In some areas our children cannot get a decent education because more than half of the class only speak Arabic and our youngsters are the ones that suffer the consequences. In Bradford, Birmingham and many other cities, the Muslims have tried to take over our schools and ignore the plight of English children who are there to learn.

They form ghettos in our cities and towns where you hear nothing but Arabic. They make no attempt whatsoever to learn the language of this country or respect our way of life.

We have to put up with Muslim demonstrators on the streets of our cities and towns carrying placards that ‘Islam Will Rule The World” or “Death To The Infidels”. Is this what all those who deny Brexit want, for it will flourish until we cannot stop it.

On top of that we have Muslims raping women and small children at will because the Qu’ran says they can. They sell our young children into sex slavery whenever they please and the police do nothing because they have been told “We should not upset the Muslims”! If you demonstrate on the streets anywhere against immigration you will immediately be arrested and charged, but if the Muslims do it they are given a police escort!!!

There can be little doubt that we must get back control of our country, and Brexit is the only way to do it. So before you start demonstrating and signing petitions think about these few points I have mentioned.

Brexit Has Won – Thank Goodness

Posted in America, Australia, Britain, Canada, David Cameron, European Union, Germany, Human Rights, Immigration, News with tags , , , , on 24/06/2016 by floroy1942

Finally we have got out from under the heel of the German led European Union, I say German led because they exert far more influence on the E.U. than any other nation. For example, which other nation would dare to give an open invitation to immigrants from Syria except Merkel who is now trying to foist them off on other nations within the bloc. I can’t think of one, can you!

Now Britain will be able to decide its own destiny without being dictated to by Brussels, and that has to be a good thing. No longer will the E.U. determine our laws and command our immigration policy as they have done for so many years. No longer will we be paying huge sums of money into the E.U. so they can fritter it away on stupid programmes.

Once the break is finalized we will be able return our nation to a proper system of law, and put an end to the endless stream of immigrants who are sucking our country dry. I long for the day when we gain back full control of our country.

As some have said, it may take two years before we can do that, but I hope our politicians can drastically shorten that time to no more than a year. It is certain that we will go through a hard time in the immediate future, but things will pick up the more we get out from under the yoke of those idiots in Brussels.

Once things have settled down we should get rid of all the immigrants that are causing so much trouble in our land, like the Muslim radicals that preach sedition in the mosques and the Muslim rapists who are selling our children into the sex slavery, plus the thousands of foreign criminals that currently infest our prisons. Without the interference of the Human Rights Commission in Strasbourg we will be able to return to a just and efficient rule of law like we used to have.

We can also get rid of all the immigrants that are sucking the benefit system dry and help those of our own people who need it the most. The last time the government had to hand out food parcels to the poor was during the Second World War.

We will have proper control over who comes into the country, for we can then allow in only those with a skill that we need, and not an entire family of twenty or more who live off benefits.

My only hope is that whoever forms the next government will be strong enough to do these things. It may take a while, but it must be done if Britain is to remain British.

There can be little doubt that Britain has been a beacon for many other European countries for it has been reported that many countries like France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Denmark and many others now want to hold a referendum on staying in the E.U. If that happens I can well see the Union collapsing like a pack of cards.

I don’t think this will be bad thing, for they control far too much in all member states, and the funny thing is, none of those that govern us have been elected! Mind you, as I have said before, their aim is to get complete control of all member states and form the ‘United States of Europe’ with them as the sole government. This means in effect that all national governments will be retired when they take over. In my view, not a happy prospect.

Nearly half of the U.K. citizens voted to stay in the Union, but I doubt they were thinking of how things would be in the future. Most were probably looking out for their jobs. I am just glad that we won.

As to the future government of the U.K., well, that is anybody’s guess. It would seem that Boris Johnson is being hailed as the next Prime Minister after David Cameron’s resignation, although that won’t take place for several months. Whichever way it goes we can certainly see some political turmoil in the months ahead.

But just like the economic and bank rate problems at the moment, all these things will eventually fade into history as the country picks itself up and moves forward, which is something the British are very good at.

Whatever happens in the future, I am sure we will come out of it in far better circumstances than we were under Brussels control.

The Russia Dilemma

Posted in America, Britain, Canada, European Union, Germany, News, Nuclear Weapons, Obama, Politics, Russia with tags , , , , on 24/06/2016 by floroy1942

1It may not be top of the news at the moment, what with the Brexit referendum, but we should spare a thought for the rising tensions between Russia and the West. If things keep going the way they are we could be heading for a war on the European continent within a short time.

NATO is moving four battalions of extra troops into Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on top of the missiles they have already moved into eastern nations because they fear a Russian attack on these countries.

As you would expect, the Russian leaders are worried because they consider this a threat to them, and are moving extra troops into their western border areas. So we have a build-up of troops on both sides of the border with Russia, and to say the least, this is an inflammatory situation that neither side wants.

The problem is that if the Russians answer this new NATO threat by adding yet more troops to the border area then NATO will answer with even more troops and so it goes on. As the tensions rise, at some point in the future the dam will break and we will be in a third world war.

So what do we do about it?

It would seem to me that the only solution is for both sides to pull back their forces and have a so-called ‘neutral zone’ between the two sides. All the border countries like Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Ukraine must become neutral nations much like Switzerland. All foreign forces must be withdrawn and Russia must provide a similar zone on their side of the border.

It will take some high-level talks to agree to this plan, but to me that is the only option if we are to solve this problem. When tensions rise between countries it inevitably turns to war if either or both do not back down.

It would seem to me that the only way to solve this problem is for dialogue between America, NATO and the Russians if we are to avoid a war. With the number of nuclear weapons both sides hold it would only take one idiot to push a button and we could see a nuclear war between east and west which may well signal the end of humanity on this planet.

I for one would not like to see this, for I may be old but I’m not dead yet.

The big problem with the world today is a total lack of common sense in governments everywhere. I might add that goes for the greater majority of the populace of the world.

All nations should think more about working together to solve the many problems that abound in the world today, instead of being ‘out for what they can get’.

Little countries like Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will be of no great significance to a country as large as Russia, and the same goes for the western nations. They are but a pinprick on the map of the world. It is true that to take these countries back will give Russia a large swathe of the Baltic Sea coastline, but if there is peace why would they need it.

The major countries involved in this threat must come together and talk, for that is the only way we keep peace on our planet. If the current tensions continue to rise we can look forward to a war within the not too distant future and we must prevent that at all costs. The main reason being, the future of mankind on this planet is at stake.

Someone’s view of what should happen in Britain:

HERE IS ALL I WANT OUT OF LIFE AT THIS TIME..

Borders: Closed to further immigration.

Illegals: Found stopped and sent back.

National Commitment: Re-establish National Service

Parliament: Obey its own laws.

Make politicians keep their promises or have them disqualified from further election.

No programmes scheduled to start past the next election.

Dual Citizenship: Abolished (you’re either British or something else. If you’re something else, be a visitor then leave when your visa runs out.)

Language: English, Welsh, Gaelic only.

Flags: Illegal to display another flag except for consulates and embassies

Culture: Respect the British culture, and stop immigrants trying to change it into the mess left back in their own countries. Stop trying to change us!

Drug Free:  Mandatory Drug Screening before Welfare Benefits! NO Freebies to Non-Citizens.

Look after British BEFORE donating to other countries.

No British welfare for any country that is developing nukes or spending more than a reasonable amount on arms.

BRING ALL BRITISH SOLDIERS HOME – LET THE REST OF THE WORLD SORT THEIR OWN PROBLEMS OUT!

BRITISH PENSIONERS BEFORE ALL OTHER NATIONS.

Sounds good to me!

This Crazy World!

People today come up with some really weird ideas, and it makes me wonder where they get them from. Glancing through the internet news pages I came across a piece that said you should always wear red underwear.

Wear Red

Wear Red

This amused me so I looked further, and some woman called Anjel O’Bryant, a leading Australian colour-response analyst said, “Colour is an untapped source of energy and it can work in your favour.” She said that, “Our bodies and minds are able to respond to colour through our base chakra, which is at the bottom of the spine. Picking the right colours, particularly when it comes to your underwear, can enhance and even change your life,” She also recommends wearing deep blue if you’ve got an important job interview. “It’s a very calming colour, it says I’m very professional,” So from now on make sure all your undies are red, or blue if you are attending a job interview, and this goes for men as well. To be honest I really don’t know where these people come from, for the stories they tell are getting more ridiculous day by day.

Escaped Robot

Escaped Robot

Another funny story was of a robot that escaped from a Russian lab and took a stroll around the city of Perm. Apparently it was being taught to move around independently and decided to take advantage of an open door and took a stroll around the city centre. As you can imagine, it stopped traffic as everyone wondered what the hell was going on, but eventually it ran out of battery power and stopped in the middle of the road. The police stood guard until people from the lab came and collected it.

You really couldn’t make things like this up could you.
