Should Britain Leave The European Union?

How Things Have Changed

How Things Have Changed

Much has been said and written on this topic, but eventually everyone must make up their own minds when the subject is put to a vote in 2017. To be honest, I cannot think of a reason for waiting until that date, for it could just as well be done next year, but there again, I am not a politician (thank goodness).

There have been many arguments passed back and forth supporting both sides of the vote, and it is clear that David Cameron is in favour of staying in.

Thanks TONY!

Thanks TONY!

I too can imagine us staying in but on two conditions, (1) that we get rid of the yoke of the Human Rights Charter, and (2) that we decide who we let into the country and not Brussels. Given agreement on these two issues I think it would be beneficial for the country to stay in the E.U.

However, is that likely to happen? Not on yer life! So this means the only other choice left to us is to leave. For far too long the bureaucrats in Brussels have told us what we can and cannot do, and it has to stop.

Yea Right!

Yea Right!

Our Justice system, that has been exemplary for many centuries has become a farce, with murderers among others getting ridiculously short sentences, and we have seen the rise of the ‘Goody-Goody Brigade’ in Britain thanks to the Human Rights Charter, who think for example that even killers have more rights than the victim or the bereaved family. Hell, we cannot even deport immigrant career criminals for crying out loud!

On the other side of things they dictate to us how many immigrants we must let into the country until our benefits system, hospitals and housing are swamped. Meanwhile, our people are not getting the help they need because of this.

They Already Are!

They Already Are!

I certainly do not envy Cameron when it comes time to making the decision for it will be hard, but he must listen to the voice of the people, and it depends on how much they think of the choices open to us and what decisions they make.

Business in the U.K. is divided on the option of going it alone without the E.U., but from reports it is clear that many are changing their minds.

Argument And Counter-Argument

Argument And Counter-Argument

It was reported yesterday that over 1,000 businesses, and donors to the Conservative Party, now back leaving Europe. This comes on top of many high-profile M.P’s also backing the move. It is said that Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith and Chris Grayling, leader of the House of Commons, are most likely to quit rather than support continued membership.

In the beginning the idea of a unified Europe was a good idea, but like all good ideas, it has been taken to extremes where today you cannot even breathe without the E.U. agreeing. It has become too bureaucratic and too powerful for its own good.

Immigration Figures

Immigration Figures

The big question is, if Britain does decide to leave will other nations follow and we see the end of the European Union? That is without doubt a possibility.

Taking immigration as just one example, more and more countries are becoming dissatisfied with the E.U. stance on this subject. Not only Britain, but also Hungary, Macedonia, Italy, Greece and many other smaller nations are being pressured into taking more and more refugees, and the simple truth is, they don’t want to because they can’t!

Where They Come From

Where They Come From

Britain has been told by the E.U. in Brussels that it cannot block the entry of people from other E.U. nations, like Poland among others, who want to come here to work, including Romanian Gypsies. Currently we have over a million Polish working in Britain, and our streets are filled with gypsies begging on our streets. Our countryside is being overrun by ‘travellers’ who move onto any area of open ground, beg and steal from the local inhabitants and leave the land looking like a rubbish tip.

Polish Integrate And Work

Polish Integrate And Work

I applaud the fact that the Polish people come here to work for a living instead off living of our benefits, but the money they make here goes straight back to their families in Poland. And what about all the British people who cannot find a job because the country is overrun by foreign nationals. As for the gypsies, they are a curse wherever they go, but do not confuse them with the real Romanian people who are caring and hard-working.

Something Has To Change!

Something Has To Change!

If as a nation we are forced to accept tens of thousands more immigrants annually the whole structure of the country will collapse. Our unemployment figures are way too high and cannot be sustained, and the money poured into social welfare is rising steadily until it too will be unsustainable.

No-one Will Want To Leave Despite Government Action

No-one Will Want To Leave Despite Government Action

I find it totally unacceptable that immigrants who are granted asylum here are also given British passports, making them British citizens. When the wars in the Middle East and Africa are eventually quelled, none of these people will want to go back home and we will be stuck with them. The government should be issuing temporary visas to these people, not passports that allow them to stay indefinitely. Some immigrants interviewed during a TV report were asked if they would go back home once the trouble was ended, all replied with an emphatic NO!

Open Your EyesAll this will eventually mean the end of the United Kingdom as a Christian country, but can the politicians see it? Can they hell! I am just glad I will not be around to see the demise of this once great country.

At some time in the future this all has to stop, but it certainly won’t so long as we remain part of the E.U. under the current rules.

Heading North – They Are Coming To A Place Near You.

As predicted the number of refugees has increased dramatically during the summer months after we let so many in during April and May. Since then the numbers have steadily grown week on week until we recently had 3,000 in one day last weekend landing on the shores of Italy.

Another Boat Load Makes It To Kos Greece

Another Boat Load Makes It To Kos Greece

This year, up to the end of July, a total of 350,000 have landed on the European mainland and we still have five months to go before year’s end. These figures have raised many questions among the governments of E.U. countries, and also among the population. Just how much longer can we continue to take in these people before we have to begin turning them away. No-one seems to know, and that is worrying.

Dresden People Demonstrate

Dresden People Demonstrate

Already the people in some parts of Germany are letting the government know that they are not prepared to continue accepting the endless stream of refugees. In eastern Germany police said protesters shouting “foreigners out” and carrying banners against the “asylum flood” threw bottles and stones at busloads of asylum seekers arriving in Heidenau, near Dresden. As the flow increases it is certain that more people in other countries are going to take action.

It is a solid fact that as long as we continue to accept these people, so more and more will try to come here because they know they will not be turned away.

Since this whole crisis developed it has been well-recognized that very many of the ‘refugees’ are in fact economic migrants who come here for the free handouts. They are hiding among the genuine refugees who are escaping the killings in Syria and Iraq.

While I have a great deal of sympathy for those fleeing violence I believe they should be seeking help in neighbouring countries and not all be heading to Europe.

Pakistan Refugees Brawl With Other Nationalities For Papers

Pakistan Refugees Brawl With Other Nationalities For Papers

For example, it is well-known that many are from Pakistan and we all know there is no war in that country so why are they here? If they are from the north where the Taliban are active they could just move south and get away from it, but no, Europe is the big attraction because we take everybody in.

As I have said before, very many of the refugees are men, and once they are allowed in their entire family down to uncle’s, aunts and cousins will eventually follow. Some will say “Why Not?”, but what you have to remember is that they will be draining tens of millions from the benefits system until it eventually runs dry. Already British people are suffering heavily, especially the old, and many are living on the bread-line for there is not enough money to help them because it is all going to ‘refugees’.

World War 2 Refugees

World War 2 Refugees

The world is undergoing a major upheaval right now, reminiscent of World War Two, and it is all caused by a few terrorists organizations like Islamic State. Their butchery is almost unparalleled in history as they try to sow unrest in countries one after another in the hope of gaining power.

They have even attacked the powerful Saudi Arabia, causing unrest in the country in the hope they can eventually move in and take control. If that happens it will certainly cause a massive problem with oil production, and will have repercussions world-wide. I agree it is not likely to happen, but it does indicate how high they have set their sights.

The War In Syria

The War In Syria

What is more likely to happen is that they will eventually take over Syria, for Assad’s regime is losing heavily and will be defeated by the joint rebel and I.S, forces. Once he is finished does anyone think that I.S. will then leave Syria to the rebels to form a government? Not on your life. Unless the rebels join them, they will turn on these people and defeat them, and thus gain control of the country. If they manage to accomplish that, surrounding countries like Lebanon and Jordan will then be attacked.

All this will do is increase the number of refugees that head for Europe. Month by month the numbers are growing and Germany alone is expecting 800,000 refugees to arrive in the country by years end. In July 50,000 refugees had reached the Greek islands, and for the whole of Greece the number is 158,000. Italy has also rescued 90,000. One of the biggest surges happened on 6-7 June, when nearly 6,000 people were plucked from the sea and taken to southern Italy, in a major international operation. These figures compare with  a total of 219,000 refugees last year, and a mere 60,000 in 2013.

Self Explanatory

Self Explanatory

There can be little doubt that Australia has the right approach by sending them back where they came from. It is tough, but the government do not want the country overrun by these people, and European nations must eventually accept what is necessary.

Instead Of Parading Up And Down Why Don't You Do Something Useful - Like Destroy I.S. and Boko Haram?

Instead Of Parading Up And Down Why Don’t You Do Something Useful – Like Destroy I.S. and Boko Haram?

The problem is, that if we take these people in without doing something to stop the reason for their flight it will get worse year on year until we are totally overwhelmed. This is why I continue to say that we must see some action from the United Nations who are duty bound to maintain peace in the world. For many months they have not made a single move, or even voiced their opinion on the I.S. tragedy in the Middle East. They have remained silent on the entire issue.

This is just not good enough from a body that was formed with such high intentions. It is time for them to start taking action against all the terrorist groups by forming a multi-national force to put an end to this global tragedy so the refugees can return home.

An Islamic Dilemma

Posted in Afghanistan, America, Arab, Benefits, Britain, British Humour, Immigration, Muslim, News, Religion with tags , , , , on 22/08/2015 by floroy1942

As many know, Islamic marriage rules are complicated because of so many intermarriages. This is just one example of a dilemma that can arise because of this phenomenon:

Dear Benefits Office Manager,
My name is Mohammed Reza and I live in Tower Hamlets London and I would like to present before you the following story. Many years ago, I married a widow out of love who had an 18-year-old daughter.
After the wedding, my father, a widower, came to visit a number of times, and he fell in love with my step-daughter. My father eventually married her without my authorization.
As a result, my step-daughter legally became my step-mother and my father my son-in-law.
My father’s wife (also my step-daughter) and my step-mother, gave birth to a son who is my grandchild because I am the husband of my stepdaughter’s mother. This boy is also my brother, as the son of my father.
As you can see, my wife became a grandmother, because she is the mother of my father’s wife. Therefore, it appears that I am also my wife’s grandchild.
A short time after these events, my wife gave birth to a son, who became my father’s brother-in-law, the step-son of my father’s wife, and my uncle.
My son is also my stepmother’s brother, and through my step-mother, my wife has become a grandmother and I have become my own grandfather.
In light of the above mentioned, I would like to know the following:
Does my son, who is also my uncle, my father’s son-in-law, and my stepmother’s brother, fulfil the requirements for receiving childcare benefit?
Sincerely yours,
Mohammed.

See what I mean! I would hate to be the benefits manager who has to sort this out.

Oh! By the way, it’s not a real story.

This Just CANNOT Continue!

Calais

Calais

Although the tensions in Calais seem to have diminished, there are other parts of Europe that are struggling to deal with the immigrant crisis, and still the EU Council does nothing.

It makes me wonder why we bother having politicians at all, because apart from laying down stupid rules that no-one wants they never seem to be able to deal with a real crisis.

While Britain and France have struggled to control the thousands of migrants who are trying to cross over into Britain they have not lifted a finger to assist.

Bulgaria Refugee Camp

Bulgaria Refugee Camp

Now we also have a crisis in Italy, Greece, the Greek Islands and Bulgaria, all being over-run by migrants wanting to settle in Europe. So far this year a total of 350,000 migrants have landed on European shores, which is an increase of 175% over the same period last year. At this rate it will be close to a million by the end of the year. Should Europe take them all in and be done with it, or should we begin shipping many of them back where they came from?

Pakistan 'Refugees'

Pakistan ‘Refugees’

From news broadcasts it is clear that a large majority of ‘refugees’ are from Pakistan and they all want to settle here. Why? There is no war in Pakistan, but they are here because they are economic refugees and see an easy future in Europe. To begin with I think all those from Pakistan should be immediately repatriated to their own country which will take a great strain off our resources.

Many Are From Islamic State

Many Are From Islamic State

Some may find my stance on this issue harsh, but we cannot allow a whole continent to be swamped by refugees when the majority are here purely for economic reasons. While I have sympathy with those who are fleeing war, I have none for those who are coming here for an easy life. Plus the fact, how do we tell those belonging to Islamic State from genuine refugees?

If we accepted only genuine refugees from war-torn countries like Iraq the numbers would be more than halved, but the economic refugees only see Europe as somewhere to feather their nests!

One should not forget that for every migrant allowed to stay in Europe there will be a whole line of family following them. Wives, children, parents, grand-parents, uncles, aunts and their children, the list is endless, and how are we supposed to cater for this mass influx? Most will be living off benefits, especially in Britain which is an easy target for these people.

Kos - Immigrants Taking Over Tourist Hotels

Kos – Immigrants Taking Over Tourist Hotels

This invasion of people is crippling the economies of countries like Italy, Greece and Bulgaria and currently there is no answer, especially from the European Union idiots in Brussels! They just sit in their ivory tower and take no notice, probably hoping the whole crisis will disappear of its own accord. I have news for them: IT WILL NOT!

The situation in Bulgaria is now becoming desperate, for this year official data shows 25,000 people have applied for refugee status in Bulgaria in the past two years, as many as in the previous two decades combined. That may not sound like many but you have to remember that the country is both poor and small, and relies on EU financial support to receive and provide shelter, medical care and food for over 3,500 refugees housed in camps, and has already used 80 percent of the 4.2 million euros it received to that end.

Border FenceThings have become so desperate in the country that they have begun fencing off their border with Turkey, much like Hungary on its border with Serbia. No matter how desperate the situation in the country the usual ‘bleeding hearts’ people have condemned the move to put up the fence. Boris Cheshirkov, spokesman for the Bulgarian office of UNHCR is quoted as saying, “The barriers, not only in Bulgaria, are only increasing the risks to the people in a desperate situation, fleeing from war – but force them to put their lives in danger in the hands of smugglers and human traffickers,”

Boris Cheshirkov, Spokesman For The Bulgarian Office Of UNHCR

Boris Cheshirkov, Spokesman For The Bulgarian Office Of UNHCR

As you would expect, Human Rights groups and the United Nations’ refugee agency UNHCR have criticised the border fence, saying that barriers will not stop the refugee inflows. What these people forget is that the greater majority of ‘refugees’ coming to Europe are coming for economic reasons! They are not fleeing war in their homeland!

However, the problems in Bulgaria are nothing compared to those in Greece and Italy. As we all know, Greece is surviving on handouts from the ICC and the IMF but the refugee crisis is straining it to the limits. Only last week a total of 21,000 refugees landed on Greek shores. How much longer can the economy stand this pressure? We have all seen on the news the tens of thousands of migrants jamming the island of Kos among others. There are so many that removing them is a mighty task and costing millions of euros.

Enoch Powell

Enoch Powell

The simple answer is, this just cannot go on. Every day I read the comments of ordinary people on news items on the internet and it is clear they are close to having had enough. The governments will not take decisive action to solve this crisis and allow more and more to come to our shores. But every one that is successful gives ten more the idea that they too will be accepted. As I said, for every one that makes it there follows maybe twenty or more family members. This just cannot go on for if it does it will destroy Europe, its infrastructure, its economy and health care system. Eventually, as Enoch Powell predicted so long ago, there will be blood on the streets.

Time For Decisive Action Mr. Moon!

Time For Decisive Action Mr. Moon!

Europe desperately needs its government to make some decisive decisions to solve this crisis once and for all before we are swamped. But it is not only the E.U. that needs to get off its fat backside, but also the United Nations who could solve this entire crisis with a series of actions. I have often said on these pages that the U.N. must get together an international military force to go from country to country and wipe out all these terrorist groups that are responsible for this refugee debacle.

Is This What You Want For The World Mr. Moon?

Is This What You Want For The World Mr. Moon?

They should wipe out all groups like Islamic State, Boko Haram, al Shebab plus all the other 176 terrorist groups that infest this world. Once this is done all the refugees can go home and everything can return to normal. To many this may sound like an impossible task, but believe me, it is not! The U.N. acted 65 years ago when the North Koreans, under influence from the USSR attacked the south and solved the crisis. They can do the same with this one. It just needs someone with the balls to get things moving.

Justice System Aids Criminals In Prison

Posted in Britain, Children, England, European Union, Human Rights, Justice, News, Political Correctness, Prison, UK with tags , , , , on 16/08/2015 by floroy1942

I really could not believe it when I read a report that our Justice System provided drug criminals in prison with laptops which allowed them to smuggle £30 million worth of drugs into the country. That was not the true intention of giving them the laptops, for they were supposedly to ‘help them prepare for their legal defence’.

Wandsworth Prison

Wandsworth Prison

What these Department of Justice idiots did not take into consideration was that there were enough knowledgable people in the prison to disable all the security features, like internet access, so they could complete their business. The gang even paid a  freelance “fixer” £1 million to get himself convicted of fraud and sent to their prison to co-ordinate the operation. The security features were disabled by another member of the gang, an east European hacker, using a coded memory stick smuggled into the jail by one of the plotter’s girlfriends.

Laptops Given For Free In Prison

Laptops Given For Free In Prison

So far as the prison goes, their excuse was “Prisons are required to provide secure laptops to a minority of offenders facing trial so they can view legal material relating to their case. The computers do not enable prisoners to access any other part of the National Offender Management Service system and internet access is disabled. We will always take action against those attempting to break the rules and offenders face prosecution if they use equipment inappropriately.” I have news for you pal – Too Bloody Late!

What is even more laughable is that the laptops were paid for by the tax payer. I have often said that our justice system has ‘gone to the dogs’, but this is too ridiculous for words.

It is no wonder we have a rampant crime rate these days when the system is unable to properly punish those who break the law. For decades now we never give offenders a ‘just’ sentence, even for murder they get a paltry few years or less in prison and are then released on parole. I can quote cases where the killer has got but a few months in jail for killing an innocent person.

Oscar Pistorius and Partner

Oscar Pistorius and Partner

Just yesterday it was announced that Oscar Pistorius who shot his partner is to be released after only ten months.

Amy Houstan Died

Amy Houstan Died

A case in the UK is that of Aso Mohammed Ibrahim who left a 12 year-old to die in the road after he hit her with his car. Despite being an illegal who had been refused asylum twice, and being a convicted criminal, he got four months in jail for the girls murder. So please don’t try to tell me that the justice system in Britain today works as a deterrent to criminals to give up their nefarious trade.

Like many other things in Britain, the entire justice system needs a massive overhaul and we need to leave the E.U. Human Rights Commission to interfere in other nations, but not ours.

Jihad Is Coming To Britain

Refugees - How Many Belong To Islamic State?

Refugees – How Many Belong To Islamic State?

A short while ago I highlighted the fact that many Islamic State (I.S.) fighters are coming to Europe hiding among the thousands of refugees swarming across the Mediterranean Sea, but now I.S. have taken it a step further. News last week revealed that I.S. are now telling potential recruits not to make their way to Syria or Iraq to fight with them, but to stay in their home country and carry out attacks there.

Two Sky reporters posed as ‘would be’ jihadists on the internet wanting to go to Syria, and received instructions to begin attacks in Britain. They were told there are already potential bombers in the U.K. and they should join them.

Junaid Hussain

Junaid Hussain

The reporters posed as jihadists on Twitter and other chat rooms and were contacted by Junaid Hussain, a 21-year-old hacker-turned-jihadist from Birmingham, who runs the IS information and recruitment arm from Syria.

Sally Jones - Helping Train Jihadists To Attack Her Own Country

Sally Jones – Helping Train Jihadists To Attack Her Own Country

His wife, Sally Jones, a former punk from Chatham, Kent, is also in Syria working alongside Hussain in Raqqa but dealing with female IS-supporting jihadists. The pair have offered guidance in making bombs, the materials needed and how to get them.

From the information the reporters received it would appear that there are already several people residing the in the U.K. who are prepared to carry out an attack. One such attack was supposed to be against the Queen during the Remembrance Day celebrations this last weekend. Thank goodness that never materialised and everything passed off peacefully.

The Aftermath Of A Suicide Bomber

The Aftermath Of A Suicide Bomber

According to information gleaned it would appear that there is at least one potential bomber in Scotland, with another two from whom the jihadists are awaiting results. Five more have completed training and have already returned to the U.K.

We have heard of many people who have returned home after being trained by I.S., and its only a matter of time before one of them carries out an attack.  On top of this there are the hard-core jihadists who are crossing the Med hidden among the genuine refugees. I mentioned in an earlier blog post that they have already set up a jihadist training camp in Bosnia and who knows how many more are in existence, or planned.

I.S. Training The Next Generation Of Fighters

I.S. Training The Next Generation Of Fighters

While the politicians in Europe brush off the danger from I.S., these people are getting organized for an all-out assault on us. Where they will strike is anyone’s guess, but I think we are close to the time when we could start seeing attacks on European soil. If the time ever comes when these fanatics are successful in Europe you can bet your last dollar that the USA will be next.

Time For The UN To Act For All Mankind

Time For The UN To Act For All Mankind

It makes me wonder if I.S. attacks on the European mainland will be enough to wake the sleeping giant we all know as the United Nations. After all the atrocities that I.S. have committed, and not forgetting those of Boko Haram in Africa, the U.N. is still silent, and has not taken any action to solve this problem. Maybe if I.S. carried out an assault on the U.N. Headquarters itself, it might be enough to get these useless individuals off their fat backsides and actually do something to restore world peace.

Time To Let Japan Off The Hook

Emperor Pays Homage To The War Dead

Emperor Pays Homage To The War Dead

At every annual Remembrance Day in Japan we hear the same criticism of the country about the actions of Japan during W.W. II and I for one am getting a little tired of it. The war ended 70 years ago and still people criticise the Japanese people for their part in it. It is time this stopped and we all moved on.

Nazi Atrocities

Nazi Atrocities

We do not hear the same about Germany and its Nazi era, for it has moved on and become as respected as all the other nations in the world despite the concentration camps and mass killing of civilians. So why must Japan continue to suffer? I do not wish to minimise what this country did during the Second World War, but surely enough is enough.

We have heard over the years various apologies from previous Prime Ministers and the Emperor, but for this country it does not seem to be enough. Why?

Prisoners of War In A Japanese Camp

Prisoners of War In A Japanese Camp

It would seem that most of the reasons lie in the political sphere with countries like China, and to a certain extent South Korea. Japan, as a powerful ally of the USA in the Far East is considered an enemy by Beijing. The Chinese Communist Party thus has an interest in Japan looking like an aggressive nation run by war criminal-lovers, which of course is not true because Japan has remained a self-protectionist state since the war ended. China also gains by fostering anti-Japanese fervour in South Korea as a way of under-mining the relationship of the USA in South Korea.

Self Explanetory

Self Explanatory

Additionally, the political climate in South Korea makes it difficult for Japan to look sincere in its remorse. Many South Korean officials and politicians want stronger ties with Japan. But for historical reasons, being labelled pro-Japanese is the ‘kiss of death’ in Korean politics. To me it just does not make sense, for the war ended seventy years ago and while the world has forgiven Germany, we still keep demanding apologies from Japan. Enough people! Let the war fade into history just like all the others.

Britain In India

Britain In India

Otherwise, the Americans must keep on apologising for destroying the native Indian culture, Britain must apologise for what it did in India, Africa and many other parts of the world. The Spanish and Portuguese must apologise for what they did in South America, and so it goes on and on, never-ending. Hell’s bells, if we went back far enough we could have Norway apologising for the Vikings who killed hundreds of Saxons.

At some time or other, history must be declared history so let us remember with honour the dead of the Second World War, but stop nit-picking at Japan for its part in it. To continue in this vein helps no-one. What is good for Germany is good for Japan.
