Saudi Cleric Bans Snowmen.

A Saudi Arabian religious cleric has banned the building of a snowman in the wintry north because it “promotes ‘lustiness’ and eroticism.” All I can say is if you tried making love to a snowman you will most likely get frostbite in your nether regions.

No Snowmen or Women

No Snowmen or Women

The prominent Saudi Arabian cleric, Sheikh Mohammed Saleh al-Munajjid, when asked on a religious website if it was permissible to build a snowman replied, “It is not permitted to make a statue out of snow, even by way of play and fun.” He said that to build a snowman was to create an image of a human being, and this action was considered sinful under strict Sunni religious law.

He wrote, “God has given people space to make whatever they want which does not have a soul, including trees, ships, fruits, buildings and so on.”

Snowman For Women

Snowman For Women – Lust Lust!

Needless to say, the ruling did not go down well with some followers who poked fun at it. One posted a photo of a man in formal Arab garb holding the arm of a “snow bride” wearing a bra and lipstick. “The reason for the ban is fear of sedition,” he wrote. Another complained, “People are looking for a fatwa (religious ruling) for everything in their lives, and clerics want to interfere in everything in the lives of others through a fatwa.”

Snow woman For Men

Snow Woman For Men – OOO – Baby!

He did however have his supporters, one of whom wrote, “May God preserve the scholars, for they enjoy sharp vision and recognise matters that even Satan does not think about.”

I guess its a case of ‘different strokes for different folks’.

Confused By Politics – Let Me Explain

Posted in America, Britain, European Union, Insurgents, Iran, Islamic Revolution, News, Terrorism, United Nations, USA with tags , , , , on 01/09/2014 by floroy1942

For those of you who are confused by the current politics in the Middle East let me explain:

We support the Iraqi government in the fight against ISIS.

We don’t like ISIS, but ISIS is supported by Saudi Arabia who we do like.

We don’t like Assad in Syria and we support the fight against him, but ISIS is also fighting against him

We don’t like Iran, but Iran supports the Iraqi government in its fight against ISIS.

So some of our friends support our enemies

Some enemies are now our friends and some of our enemies are fighting against our other enemies, who we want to lose.

We don’t, however, want our enemies who are fighting our enemies to win.

If the people we want to defeat are defeated, they could be replaced by people we like even less.

And, all this was started by us invading a country to drive out terrorists who were not actually there until we went in to drive them out!

It’s quite simple, really. I hope that clears everything up for you.

My thanks to the friend who sent this to me, and to the anonymous writer.

We Sentence You To Be Paralyzed

Posted in Arab, Human Rights, Insanity, Justice, Modern World, Muslim, Religion, Sharia Law, Torture with tags , , , on 05/04/2013 by floroy1942

I have often written of the bestiality of Sharia Law as do others, but yesterday’s news from Saudi Arabia, a so-called civilized nation, is disgraceful. Admittedly, the man in question attacked another with a knife that left the victim paralyzed, but now a Sharia Court has sentenced the assailant to be medically paralyzed. The call came from relatives of the victim who claimed this be done under the ‘eye for an eye’ law in Sharia.

Many medical practitioners in the country refused to carry out the operation, but it seems they have at last found one who was willing to do the surgery.

Naturally, the victim has my full sympathy, but to deliberately cause the offender to suffer this is barbaric to say the least. Lock him away, give him hard labour by all means but not this. He has already served ten years in prison while the courts tried to find a willing medical team, but now the search is over.

This is just a single case from an entire history of such abuses. People have had their eyes gouged out, hands chopped off, teeth removed, public flogging and not to forget the stoning to death of women. Its like Muslims are living in the Middle Ages and not the 21st century.

The question is, will it ever change? I would say there is little chance of that because it is embedded in their religion, and no matter how much we protest at this inhumanity it will never change. It is without doubt a sad indictment of today’s world.

The Unseen Dangers of the Arab Spring

Posted in Al Quada, Arab, Insurgents, Islamic Revolution, Muslim, Somaila, Terrorism, United Nations with tags , , , , , , on 12/02/2012 by floroy1942

On 17 December 2010 Mohamed Bouazizi, a 26 year old Tunisian street vendor set himself alight in protest at the confiscation of his wares, and the harassment and humiliation that he reported was inflicted on him by a municipal official and her aides. There was no way he could foresee the wave of unrest that followed his action across the arab world.

Mohamed Bouazizi - The Catalyst

It led to the downfall of the Tunisian President, El Abadine Ben Ali, followed later by Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, Muhamar Gaddafi of Libya and President Ali Abdulla Saleh of Yemen. It had far reaching effects on the political scene in many more arab countries where governmental changes were hastened after protests. Protests in Jordan led King Abdullah to sack two governments in an effort to stave off major disruptions in the country.

Syrian Tanks Fire on Homs

Now everyone is concentrating on Syria, where despite condemnation by the Arab League and a lot of talk at the UN, President Assad is trying desperately to put down what amounts to a fully fledged rebellion in the country. Accusations fly thick and fast from the government, saying the problems are being caused by ‘outside elements’, while the protesters shout to the world the daily death toll at the hands of their armed forces.

Today a Syrian general was assassinated outside his home by armed gunmen. The government say these men were an “armed terrorist group”, and it is possible. Not surprisingly, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Naturally this does not detract from the fact that around 7000 civilians have been killed by government forces over the past months.

Assad

What the outcome will be in Syria is anyone’s guess, but it seems the regime’s days are numbered. The question that should now be asked is: Will Assad and his entourage ever be brought before the International Court for crimes against humanity, seeing as his armed forces are killing unarmed civilians with tanks and artillery? His days must surely be numbered, for he even has neighbouring arab states against him now. Once he has been subdued, will that be the end of the arab spring I wonder?

There has been death on the streets of many arab countries outside those already mentioned, like Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Mauritania and Lebanon. In many cases it has been sectarian in nature. There seems to be no love between Sunni and Shi’ite muslims in the arab world and they seem to be increasingly ‘having a go’ at the opposition.

Saudi Protests

In many nations, like Bahrain, which is ruled by the Sunni al Khalifa family, 70-75% of the people are Shia. In Syria we see an Alewite (an offshoot of Sunni) presiding over a population that is 74% Shia. Often in recent times this has led to friction. In Qatif, the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, which is home to a Shia majority, they complained of marginalisation at the hands of the Sunni ruling family.

The situation in Saudi Arabia is the most troubling for it is staunchly pro-western and is of course the world’s largest supplier of oil. Trouble is brewing in the Qatif region in eastern Saudi where one protester was shot by police who said they were shot at by gunmen. An identical event took place earlier in the town of Qatif. Not surprisingly it is small actions like this that inflame people into taking part in large scale protests at the deaths, which can lead to a similar action by the police. Once the fire is lit, it can be hard to put out.

It is without doubt that the entire region was stable until one lowly street vendor decided to set himself alight in protest, now what the future holds for the arab world is anyone’s guess. Egypt and Libya are still in turmoil, which to be honest, looks like continuing throughout the rest of this year. There is also unrest in the other countries mentioned, which could take no more than a small spark to ignite. Meanwhile, we stand on the sidelines waiting to see what happens next.

What Is He Up to Now?

An ‘un-named’ US official has let it be known that there could be al Quada fighters from Iraq in Syria busy at work stoking up tensions. It is suggested they were responsible for two bombing, and were likely involved in the attacks that took place in Aleppo. When you look at it from a distance, this is possible. I only say possible, for logic dictates that if al Quada can bring down what was, until recently, a stable government and cause mayhem, they stand to make great gains while the country is in limbo, trying to find its way to a proper government.

The possibility that this is a new tactic of al Quada is not so far fetched, so let’s kick it around for a moment.

What would happen if this Islamic group managed to get into the government of many of the arab countries? As in other places, it starts with one or two people in high positions who work behind the scenes to pave the way for more members and end up taking over. We have seen exactly this scenario take place within the Tower Hamlets Council of London. Al Quada is now aligned with the rebels in Somalia, and obviously they see the possibility of political gains in the country. Therefore, it is by no means a huge stretch of the imagination to see this happening in Syria and perhaps, at a later date, other arab states.

Who Knows What the Future Holds

This is all conjecture, but what would happen to world peace if such an event were to happen? A very disturbing thought indeed. I dread to think what will happen in the future if such a situation actually occurs. Islamic fundamentalist governments controlling most of the world’s oil? Such an event would be catastrophic, and I am glad I will not be around to say “I told you so”! Governments the world over need to pay more attention to the march of Islam, for if they don’t, we could see catastrophic times ahead, for in the long-term, it is always the people who suffer in these power struggles.

Roy.

14/2/12 Update: With the latest news it seems the ideas set forward in this post may not be so far-fetched after all. Yesterday Ayman al-Zawahri, bin Laden’s deputy and now leader of al Quada came out and urged all Muslims in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey to join the uprising against what he called Mr. Assad’s “pernicious, cancerous regime.” Senior Iraqi officials have commented that a steady flow of men linked to al Quada, as well as arms have been flowing over the border into Syria for four months. Regarding the two car bombs that went off in Aleppo last week, it has been remarked that these attacks bear the trademark of al Quada. So maybe this terrorist group is trying to make political capital out of the Syrian mess.

The Hypocricy of American Politics

Posted in Equality, Gays, Homosexuals, Human Rights, Obama, Political Correctness, President, USA with tags , , , , on 10/12/2011 by floroy1942

The latest announcement by Hilary Clinton that the US will actively promote homosexual rights abroad shows how low American politicians will stoop to get re-elected.

Next year is presidential election year in the USA and its not just Obama’s job on the line, and so far as I can see, this declaration is nothing more than a ploy to gain the ‘gay’ vote.

A Once Proud Race

What it appears to mean, is that the American government will will look at ‘gay’ rights in a country when deciding how much, or even if, it will receive aid from the USA. Coming from one of the most racist nations on the planet, and one that was founded on the near total eradication of its native people, I find this an affront to my intelligence. But before my American readers get all ‘hot under the collar’, ask yourself this. In what other country do we describe our citizens by their race; i.e. white American, black American, Latino’s, Italian American etc? In the rest of the world this distinction is not made!

I care not what the politicians say, racism is still rife in America, though I do not blame any single segment of the population, for they are all as bad as one another. Answer this question honestly: – How long would a white man or woman last alone (especially at night) in a black or latin neighbourhood or vice versa? Think about it and you will see the obvious i.e. that he/she would be dead by dawn! Don’t forget that the opposite is also true!

An Affront to Our Morality

But all that aside, the ‘gay rights’ issue in America is something else. Like most other countries, up until a decade ago homosexuals were reviled by all levels of society, but suddenly, like the flick of a switch, some people (many of them high-profile figures) decided that to be a deviant was OK and we should all clap our hands and cheer as they all ‘came out’, which in proper english means they revealed what they are. Just because some actor or other decides to let the world know they are homosexual does not make it just, right, or acceptable! After that of course, it was essential for the political bandwagon to climb on board for fear of being frozen out at the polls.

For This You and I would Be Arrested

Like a virus, it spread across nations, fueled by the disgusting ‘Gay Parades’ where they flaunt themselves (in costumes you or I would be arrested for) in front of ‘amused’ crowds who are too stupid to realise what is going on. Naturally this, along with the ‘do-gooders’, i.e. people without a life of their own, have fuelled this idea until we have homosexuals marrying and even adopting children. I am convinced it will not end well! How long before we get a generation of misfits who have become so confused as to their own sexuality (because they have same-sex parents) and no longer know where they fit in in society?

Noooooooo!

What would Hilary Clinton or Barak Obama think in their heart of hearts if one of their own children let it be known they were homosexual? I do not think they would be amused.

Now the USA wants to force other countries to accept this depravity and take on board the decline in morality that goes with it! I am sorry America, but you do not have that right!!!!

Big and powerful you may be, but you have no right to insist that poor countries will be helped only if their government allows these deviants recognition and rights.

Ha Ha Ha! This is a Joke Right?

What will you say to Saudi Arabia for example? In that Muslim country, as in any other, homosexuality is against both the law and religion and these people are put to death when caught. Is the US government going to make an exception here because that country is their biggest friend in the Middle East? I bet they do, and that will reveal the complete hypocrisy of Hilary Clinton’s statement! Rest assured, this ruling will only apply to countries aided by the USA that have no financial or strategic importance to the United States like Zimbabwe, Ghana and Uganda in Africa. Just wait and see!!!

Do You Really Wish to See This on Beaches Near Your Children?

Do as you wish in your own backyard and allow others to do the same. This current attitude may well gain the present government the homosexual vote, but it will be seen for what it is and condemned in the eyes of all intelligent people, and will lead to international condemnation by many.

Muslim Cure

I agree also with Texas Governor Rick Perry who said that “promoting special rights for gays in foreign countries is not in America’s interests and not worth a dime of taxpayers’ money”. Perhaps Hilary should ask the American taxpayer if they want their tax dollars spent on promoting the rights of homosexuals in foreign countries! I can imagine what the answer will be!!

Israel Versus Nuclear Iran and the Gulf States Dilemma

Posted in Ahmadinajad, Al Quada, Britain, Europe, Iran, Israel, Taliban, Terrorism, UK, USA with tags , , , on 07/11/2011 by floroy1942

What would the reaction of the Gulf States be if Israel bombed Iran to prevent them getting nuclear weapons? A tricky question that has arisen, because as the weeks go by, such an action becomes more likely.

The Gulf and Iran

Despite its vehement protestations of ‘innocence’, everyone knows that Iran is desperately trying to develop nuclear weapons. Why? Because it would make them ‘king of the hill’ in the Middle East, and as they see it, get America off their backs. It would also give them membership of the exclusive club of world states with nuclear weapons; i.e. America, Russia, United Kingdom, France, China, India, Pakistan and Israel (undeclared). A ninth state, North Korea, has tested a weapon of course and is rumoured to have several devices.

The danger with a country like Iran having ‘The Bomb’ is largely the same as North Korea having it. There is ample evidence to suggest they have assisted Iran in getting as far as they have.

Kim Jong-il In Collusion

North Korea is a closed communist country, and is considered by most to be a ‘rogue’ state. Its leader Kim Jong-il, is decidedly unstable when it comes to relations with other countries, in particular the United States and its ally South Korea. Iran on the other hand is not only a ‘rogue’ state, but one of strategic importance to the west.

Really?

Another major problem with Iran having such weapons, is their continual backing of terrorist organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, al Quada and  the Taliban. The Iranian government has a pathological hatred of western nations, and should it ever come to pass that they do succeed in their ambitions, the rest of us will live in fear of the big bang that will obliterate many of our major cities. For it does not take a huge stretch of the imagination to realise that the Iranian government is capable of providing one of the aforementioned terrorist groups with a nuclear bomb to be placed in New York, Washington, London or perhaps Paris or Berlin. Of course, let us not rule out the fact that Israel will be their first target.

From unguarded comments made by rulers in most Gulf States, it appears that Iran’s nuclear ambitions are not welcome. The Saudi’s have on many occasions accused Iran of deliberately trying to upset the balance of power in the Gulf. Iran is a Shi’ite nation  and according to Saudi Arabia, is fermenting dissention among the minority Shi’ite population of the Sunni led Gulf states. Iran has also been accused of attempting to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador in Washington.

Saudi King

As far back as 2008, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia urged a U.S.-led attack against Iran to “cut off the head of the snake” and halt Tehran’s nuclear program. Such sentiments are also held by the majority of Arab nations in the Gulf region, privately of course, for none would dare come out openly against the Iranians except Saudi Arabia which is the strongest.

And then there is Israel! She is without doubt the thorn in the side of Iran, her most hated enemy. As Ahmadinejad said, “Israel should be wiped from the map”, and he would love to be the one that pushes the button. Iran has recently tested a long-range missile capable of reaching Israel, and according to the latest reports from the IAEA and Intelligence sources, they are very close to making a nuclear weapon.

Iran's Missile Test

Over the last eight years or so it has become obvious Iran will not bow to international will and cease operations, so that leaves only one option on the table: Military action!

With vast resources available in the Gulf, America is the obvious choice, but Israel, knowing it would be fighting for its very survival in the event of a nuclear Iran, is more likely to fire the vital shot. You can be sure in such an event that the Gulf States will be ‘outraged’ at such a blatant aggression, but secretly be clapping their hands in glee at the prospect of Iran’s nuclear ambitions being nipped in the bud. In effect, they have it both ways, for they will have achieved the aim of neutralising Iran while themselves not having to lift a finger. On top of that, they will have a ‘ready-made’ scapegoat at which to hurl their righteous indignation and empty threats.

Iranian Nuclear Site at Qom

In essence, it will be a win-win situation for everyone except Iran, for a while at least. I say this because Iran is not likely to take such an attack lying down. There will be reprisals, but they will most likely be aimed at their old protagonist Israel. Naturally, some of their anger will be aimed at their old enemy the United States, and possibly Europe, and it seems inevitable that terror attacks will increase as Iran uses groups like al Quada as a weapon.

One of Our Cities?

Blood will be spilled in the months after an attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities, but when you consider what the alternative could mean for world peace, it is a small price to pay. Should Iran ever achieve its aim of becoming a nuclear power, then the casualties will be numbered in their tens of millions and huge swathes of the globe could be uninhabitable for thousands of years.

Human Shields In Misrata!

Posted in Al Quada, Arab, Britain, England, Europe, Insurgents, Muslim, Terrorism, UK, USA with tags , , , , , , , on 07/04/2011 by floroy1942

I guess it should come as no surprise that Libyan forces loyal to Gaddafi are now using human shields. After all, it has become a favourite tactic employed by Hamas, Hezbollah, The Taliban and many other arab insurgent groups. This does not make it any the less despicable.

http://www.youtube.com/embed/8X0f496F7U4

To Be Prosecuted For War Crimes?

To me it is the action of a coward and a war criminal, who should be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Hopefully, this means that when the Libyan ‘show’ is over someone will be answering for these crimes. I certainly hope so.

According to NATO reports, tanks and heavy artillery are being hidden in civilian areas of the city with the express purpose of making them immune to NATO aircraft attack. Light attack vehicles, similar to those used by the rebels, are now using the roads and mingling with civilian traffic to prevent attack from ever-watchful NATO warplanes.

NATO Airstrike Against Gaddafi Forces

There can be little doubt this will blunt the effectiveness of air strikes, for no sensible pilot will drop a bomb, or fire a missile knowing innocent civilians will be killed, for that makes him not much better than those who perpetrate the crime, and it will not help NATO in  the propaganda war.

http://www.youtube.com/embed/tXU2oFSOSM0

Meanwhile, the rebels are complaining they need more assistance from NATO if they are to make any further significant gains. I for one hope they realise the burden such a tactic has put on coalition pilots.

NATO’s Deputy Commander of Operations, Rear Admiral Russel Harding said in reply: “NATO forces have been particularly careful to avoid injury to civilians who are in close proximity to the fighting, often precisely because of the tactics of government forces,” He added: “Libyan government forces have increasingly shifted to non-conventional tactics, blending in with road traffic and using civilian life as a shield for their advance.”

The city of Misrata, under siege now for more than a month, is home to some half-a-million inhabitants, and large scale civilian deaths at the hands of NATO would no doubt be a boon to the ‘lefty’ propaganda machine as well as the Arab and African nations opposed to the intervention.

http://www.youtube.com/embed/pIlI5wMZsjc

Jordanian F16's

It is heartwarming to know that now at least Jordan has joined the coalition and sent aircraft to aid in the effort, if a little late. I must say though, both Syria and Saudi Arabia are noticeably absent, and silent. But there again, these nations are always reticent when it comes to assisting other arab countries, or even condemning acts of terrorism committed against the West. Saudi for example has the best armed forces among all the arab nations, they should have, for all their hardware has been obtained from the USA. I have often wondered why these Middle East countries are always content with the ‘Three Wise Monkeys’ approach to happenings around the world involving their arab brethren, especially terrorism.

http://www.youtube.com/embed/WxPOoykVqqc

A new twist to the tale has come from the French who say they are making arrangements for the eastern rebels to get supplies into Misrata by sea. Apart from basic requirements like food and water, it will also give them the opportunity to get arms and men into the city if they so wish. What this will do to the balance of power in the area is anybody’s guess.

To the observer, it is clear the Libyan crisis is a long way from being over, and it’s still not possible to predict what the outcome will be. Personally, I doubt that Gaddafi will be able to retain his position once this debacle is over, for apart from half the population of Libya hating him, he has become a pariah among world leaders, who I am sure will want no further dealings with him.

Libya, The Arab League and Double Standards!

Posted in Arab, Britain, England, Europe, Muslim, UK, UN, United Nations, USA with tags , , , , , , , , on 20/03/2011 by floroy1942

Face Saving?

I guess I should not be surprised that the Arab League is now trying to worm out of its complicity in the current Libyan crisis. I have just read with disbelief a statement by the League Secretary General, Amr Moussa that he is calling for an emergency meeting of the group saying that the actions of the coalition are not what was intended when they agreed to the action. I quote:“What is happening in Libya differs from the aim of imposing a no-fly zone, and what we want is the protection of civilians and not the bombardment of more civilians.” It seems to me they are now trying to back out of the agreement they made with the UN Security Council!

It was after all they who asked for such action to be taken, but it is worthy to note that the United Arab Emirates is the only country in the block to be actively taking part. Each of the major arab nations, like Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan have strong air forces that could easily have done the job on their own, but not one of them has made a move to assist.

The UAE-At Least An Honest Arab Nation

Now they are trying to backtrack on their diplomatic involvement and before you know it, they will be accusing the coalition of aggression, or at least interference in arab affairs. I have to say I find their attitude both spineless and disgusting.

It would seem they expected the no-fly zone to be enforced without any military action whatsoever, and if that is the case I would ask them how it could be done.

RAF Tornados

Weeks ago US Secretary of Defence, Robert Gates, made it quite clear that the only way to safely enforce a no-fly zone was for the Libyan anti-air defences to be knocked out prior to overflights. Personally, I can think of no other way.

I can understand they do not want foreign troops on Libyan soil and that should not be necessary, but it is impossible to achieve a no-fly zone without some form of military action. Considering that the arab nations have left it up to the west to do their dirty work for them, I would have at least expected a grudging ‘Thank You’ considering it is our pilots that are being put in harms way on their behalf. Instead, all we get is the proverbial ‘knife in the back’, so typically arab.

AWACS - Ensuring Compliance

We cannot for sure know this, but it is possible they are now starting to get unrest among the arab nations for the fact they requested western assistance in this problem, and are now trying to excuse their complicity by proclaiming: “This is not what we meant…..But we didn’t mean…” etc etc. Well gentlemen, if you call for a spade, you get a spade and that’s that!

Further, how dare he suggest the coalition is bombing civilians! I can only presume he has been listening to the Gaddafi propaganda machine. The west has ‘stepped up to the plate’ and offered to help defend civilians against the onslaught of Gaddafi’s forces, and I must say that is more than the majority of arab nations have done. Instead of backtracking from their decision they should be actively assisting in the efforts.

Finally I have to say direct to Mr. Amr Moussa: If you don’t like the way the west is carrying out YOUR request – DO IT YOURSELF!!!!!

I await further developments with bated breath!

Would You Teach Your Child How To Cut Off A Thief’s Hand?

It beggars belief that any parent would teach a child how to cut off the hand of a thief, but the Saudi’s, according to reports, are currently doing just that in Muslim schools across Britain where six to eighteen year-olds are being taught Sharia Law.

Is This What Islam Wants?

Muslim children as young as six are being instructed that Jews are trying to take over the world (not that Islam isn’t of course), and the punishment for being a homosexual is death by stoning, death by burning or being thrown off a cliff (if there is one handy).

These, and many other facts, were brought to light by a BBC Panorama undercover reporter and the programme was aired last Monday (22/11/2010). Unfortunately I missed the programme but it doesn’t prevent me commenting on the facts brought to light.

Precise Instructions

Fourteen and fifteen year-olds were shown how to cut off the hand or foot (second offence) of a thief, complete with diagrams in a school textbook. Texts issued to very young children ask what happens when you die and you are not Muslim? The answer is; you are condemned to ‘hellfire’!

On Muslim websites such messages as:  “Our children are exposed to a culture that is in opposition to almost everything Islam stands for” and “We need to defend our children from the forces of evil” are found regularly.

All the schools which run the evening and weekend classes (some fifty of them) are run by the Saudi Students Clubs and Schools in the UK and Ireland Organization. Although the Saudi government when approached denied having anything to do with the schools, at least one of the buildings is owned by the Saudi government and it was revealed that they are controlled by the Saudi Cultural Bureau. So much for the Saudi government lies and denials!

The Big Question

What is taught at these schools is apparently part of the Saudi national curriculum, but the government is quoted as saying that these lessons, and the Qu’ran passages they are derived from, are taken out of context. I seem to have heard that quite often from Muslims! Perhaps the Saudi government would like to tell us the true context of this whole saga! Funny, I don’t hear a rush of volunteers!!!

Muslims will have us believe that theirs is a religion of peace, but the truth is far from it. Sharia Law and all its facets are without doubt as outdated as the dinosaur and have no place in a modern society be it Muslim or christian.

The Aftermath

Yet we hear daily that it is still being practised in most Islamic states. Social websites like YouTube have a whole crop of videos and photographs of beheadings and hangings etc, but Islam is a peaceful religion, at least that is what they will have us believe. There is only one word for that: Bullshit!!!!!

It seems to this bystander that all they are doing with this hateful rhetoric is grooming the next generation fanatics for the terrorist cause.

The sad thing is, nothing will ever change so long as these archaic practices are still being taught to the very young either in or out of context. How can any country or religion step into the twenty-first century by teaching children from the age of six such barbaric practices? To this ‘Infidel’ it does not seem that Islam wants to change!

Pushing Religious Freedom Over Its Limits!

The government should place an outright ban on all these hate-filled teachings and demonstrations in the country and accept no nonsense from these people. If they wish to demonstrate and preach hatred let them do it in their own country, not ours.

Having said that I wish to make it clear that I have no objection to Muslims, or any other race for that matter, living among us providing they respect our way of life and our laws.

A Clear Message!

Why do countries like Britain allow these fanatics to demonstrate in the streets carrying their placards advertising hate for the country that accepted them in good faith?

I shudder to think what the world will be like if Islam does finally reach its goal and rule the western world. I say ‘western’, for the simple fact I can never see them dominating China as they do here in the west.

Soon No Longer To Be Innocent

The British are renowned world-wide for their tolerance but there must be a limit, and in my mind we are long past it. The people of Britain must stand up to these fanatics and tell them: Live by our laws and accept our culture for what it is: OR LEAVE!

American Muslims Against Islamophobia.

Posted in Afghanistan, England, Gaza and Hamas, Insurgents, Iran, Muslim, Sharia Law, Taliban, UK, USA with tags , , , , on 08/09/2010 by floroy1942

Me Islamophobic?

So American Muslims want an end to Islamophobia according to the latest reports. Well, so far as I am concerned there is one simple solution!

All ordinary, and I stress ordinary, Muslims need to do is raise their voice against the Islamic Jihad and insurgency instead of sitting on the fence and staying silent.

Peaceful – Really?

The atrocities carried out by groups such as al Quada, the Taliban and other terrorists are carried out, according to them, in the name of Islam and the Islamic people. Thus, they are representing the ordinary Muslims who walk our streets and complain about Islamophobia.

How come we never hear outright condemnation of the insurgency from Muslim State Governments like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, Jordan etc. They sit in their ivory towers calling the faithful to prayer 5 times a day, allow radical clerics to preach sedition and terrorism, and convert good Muslims into suicide bombers. All this goes on under their noses but they say and do nothing to stop it. Why?

I think the reason is they prefer to bury their heads in the sand and consider it an Infidel problem.

Terrorist Training Camp

The Iran Government has for decades fermented trouble in countries like Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan to name but a few. They have been training terrorists and supplying them with weapons for years, so it is not surprising they do not denounce terrorism. There are few Muslim countries as radical as Iran, but they still stay silent.

The trouble is, this kind of activity reflects on Muslims the world over, so it is no wonder we have Islamophobia today. In my view it is perfectly justified in the light of such terror acts as 9/11. With such things going on, how can you trust someone who just may be planning to kill you?

Suicide Bomber Grooming

In Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, to name but a few, by far the greatest number of people killed are Muslims going about their business. Al Jazeera reported this morning that Taliban fighters in Afghanistan insist there are no Muslim casualties because such a thing is not possible, and put it down to western propaganda. How blind can you get! But this is what they are told by their taskmasters, and they are stupid enough to believe it.

Justice – Taliban Style

So this begs the question, why do the people of Iraq and Aghanistan put up with it? I think the main reason in Afghanistan is they are scared to go against the Taliban because these people rule by fear. This became evident when they were in charge of the country. They, with their Islamic Justice,  were far worse than Adolph Hitler and Josef Stalin put together. They basically took the country back to the stone-age.

So I ask yet again, why do ordinary Muslims world-wide not stand up to these fanatics and shout in a collective voice “Not in my name!” Why do they not denounce Muslim clerics who preach terrorism and hatred in their local mosque?

Typical Scene in Britain

Instead, in many countries, in particular Britain where they can get away with it, they demonstrate in favour of the insurgents, and the british public should trust and love them? Time they learnt we are not so stupid!

So long as these people remain silent, and bury their collective heads in the sand, Islamophobia will continue to grip the western nations because they do not hear any voices against it from the local Muslim community.

Hate Preacher

People fear what they cannot understand, and this is as good as any reason for Muslim governments and communities world-wide to raise their voices and denounce these evil people once and for all time. Only then will the flames of a burgeoning hatred and mistrust between Infidels and Muslims be extinguished, and we can go back to living in peace with one another.

Human Rights? WHAT Human Rights???

A Dubai Restaurant

Equality Laws, Human Rights Laws, we westerners are throwing these around like sweets at a carnival parade, but after giving away these ‘goodies’ to all who come here, has anyone stopped to think if we can expect the same rights in other countries? I’m afraid the whole charade is somewhat one-sided.

To prove my point I quote the case of a British couple in Dubai who were arrested for ‘kissing’ in a restaurant last November. It seems Ayma Najafi gave Charlotte Adams, with whom he was having dinner, a peck on the cheek. This was witnessed by an Emirate woman who complained to the police because her son had witnessed this ‘disgusting’ display. The pair were arrested and sentenced to one month in a Dubai prison for breaking the strict Emirates ‘Decency’ Laws. They were released on bail pending an appeal to be heard in April.

Sex on the Beach?

They are the third couple to be arrested for such ‘offences’ in the last two years. Among them is Michelle Palmer, who along with her companion was sentenced to three months for having sex on a public beach, although to be honest I do find that somewhat justified. They were lucky to have their sentences quashed and deported.

In many Muslim countries, anything resembling a show of affection in a public place, even non-married couples holding hands, is strict taboo with the real threat of a prison sentence if you do not comply.

As a westerner, you would consider it your human right to show affection for someone even in a public place. The French and Spanish, among others, kiss you on both cheeks in a normal greeting, in France even the men but thank goodness not the Spanish (I live here). Phew!

The Human Rights Charter is a United Nations document presumably signed, and applying to all nations. So how is it you can get arrested and jailed in Muslim states for a kiss?

Britain in particular, being the country I know most about, has given away everything, even common sense in the name of human rights and equality, and

I Know My Rights!

there, more than any other country the laws are misused for personal gain. Known terrorist sympathisers and agitators like Abu Qutada have twisted and used the human rights laws to escape extradition and jail. Waled Salem, an Egyptian career criminal escaped jail by playing the human rights card. Gary Mckinnon the Pentagon hacker is currently using the same law in an attempt to escape extradition to the USA.

So where does that leave the British tourist and businessman going to these countries, actually ‘in a straitjacket’ comes to mind. Everyday things that we take for granted will get you a prison sentence in places like Dubai.

On the subject of religion, which for us is everyone’s right, if you are a non-Muslim don’t go looking for a church, or hold a prayer meeting in Saudi Arabia. ALL forms of worship outside of Islam are strictly forbidden in Saudi and any attempt at worship will get you arrested by the Religious Police. Even the open wearing of a crucifix is enough to get you into trouble. The Law states you may be; e.g., a Christian, but forbids you from any act of worship or wearing of signs of your faith. Like most Muslim states, the dress code for women is especially strict. Even as a tourist, a woman is expected to cover up when in public.

UN Charter of Human Rights

So I have to ask, where does this leave our infamous Human Rights Charter? It would seem to apply to any country that is not a Muslim State where any show of affection, or religion other that Islam is strictly forbidden.

It is without doubt a one-sided affair and perhaps it is time for a complete review. Western Governments like the British Labour Party must stop giving away the rights of ethnic Britons in favour of Muslim immigrants, for they will not return the favour. Also, the Islamic countries need to relax their stringent religious code drawn up it would seem to ensure male dominance. It goes without saying that respect for each others way of life is paramount, but to jail a couple for a peck on the cheek is going way too far.

Inshallah.
