Brexit – What An Absolute Mess!

The decision was taken by the people of Great Britain to leave the European Union before it totally destroyed us, but now, Gina Miller, a woman obviously looking out for her own business interests, filed a law suit to stop Brexit through the Courts, and won! The big question now is where do we go from here?

On the one hand we have the will of the British people, who by a majority voted that we should leave the Union, and on the other hand, a single business woman, with her colleague hairdresser Deir Dos Santos, who may well have destroyed the whole deal.

To my mind this is not democracy, this is a farce when one woman can stop something that the majority of the nation has voted for. To me it beggars belief. The High Court judges ruled that it should be put to a vote in Parliament before Article 50 is triggered, indicating that the will of the people has no significance.

Theresa May said she would initiate Article 50 in March next year but now, but that is no longer certain. The whole idea could be crushed, because it is well known that a majority of M.P’s are against separation from Europe.  This means that many M.P’s could be going against the wishes of the general public they represent, possibly for their own ends.

As you would expect, this has thrown the whole Brexit idea into chaos. We have to hope that cool heads will rule as this problem progresses, for it has been made known that this case will now be taken to the highest court in the land, and if that fails it will go the the European Court. To be honest, if it goes to the European Court I cannot see any of the judges going against today’s ruling. So despite the wishes of the people in this country, this could turn out to be a long drawn out process that could very well upset the British people’s desire for Brexit.

It is well known that two thirds of M.P’s in the House of Commons do not favour leaving the European Union despite all the plans that Brussels has for us, like forming the United States of Europe under their direct control. Many of them will vote against the idea, and if they win it will put a nail in the coffin of democracy in this nation.

It is a fact that since the referendum, many European countries have begun looking at the idea of leaving themselves. This is evident in Germany after Merkel’s stupid invitation to more than a million immigrants, and also in France, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and many others. People are feeling decidedly unhappy about the number of immigrants that are pouring into the continent from all over the world.

From the beginning the non-elected leaders of Europe have said that Britain must allow free movement of people across our borders if we are to have free trade with Europe. When you consider that the greater majority of immigrants want to come to the U.K. because of our generous benefits system, the country would be literally swamped with migrants all demanding benefits. In many cases immigrants are living a far better life than many of our own workers because of this.

Those immigrants that want to work will be accepting wages far below that of an English worker, and as it is doing now, driving wages down for everybody. If this goes on it will destroy the whole economy of the country.

Theresa May must fight this stupid ruling, or ensure that sufficient M.P’s vote for the Brexit plan, or we are doomed. It is tragic that one stupid woman could bring down an entire country.

Pat Condell has always been known as a straight talker, and his views on Brexit are quite interesting. Watch and Listen:

Do you still want to stay in the European Union?

Brexit – The Aftermath

Posted in America, Benefits, Britain, English Schools, European Union, Human Rights, Immigrants, News, Police, Teens with tags , , , , on 25/06/2016 by floroy1942

Criticism is being hurled about by all and sundry after the result of the Brexit vote was made known, and I for one think that people should calm down and wait and see what develops.

Its’s no good going off at half-cock just because everyone did not agree with your vote. I agree, the results were close but those who voted to remain must take a step back and see what comes out of this referendum.

London

London – The City

In London it seems that half a million people have demanded a rerun of the vote because it did not go their way, but why should we? Some may be afraid for their jobs in The City, but I doubt very much that thousands of jobs will be lost because banks and international companies are going to move out of the U.K., for that would be very very expensive, and they will lose all of their experienced staff.

No-one has any idea of the agreements that will be made with the E.U. after the babble has died down. Negotiations will be entered into in the coming months, and it would seem to me that most companies will stay right where they are if the right agreements are obtained. All this panic may well be for nothing.

European Union

European Union

As to the ludicrous idea of London declaring ‘independence’ from the rest of the country, that is the most stupid thing I have heard in years. Which idiot came up with that idea? Do the people of London honestly believe that it can still be a part of the European Union while the rest of the country is not! Come on people! Get a grip and start thinking sensibly!

There can be little doubt that once the initial furor has died down and sensible minds begin negotiating with the rest of the E.U., there will be agreements made that will satisfy all sides. This is just as much in the interests of E.U. countries as it is for Britain. There is no point in going off half-cocked.

I am well aware of the ‘hateful’ rhetoric that is coming from some E.U. politicians at the result, but that is nothing more than reaction to the fact they lost. Later, in proper negotiations cooler heads will rule.

From reading news items it seems that most of our young people voted to stay in, but they are not as wise yet as the old folks. Many of us older folks can look forward to what will happen with the European Union, we don’t just think of the ‘here and now’.

Un-elected Leaders

Un-elected Leaders

What most of the younger members of our society do not realize is that we are heading for the ‘United States of Europe’ under the complete control of those idiots in Brussels. Eventually our own government will be put out of a job and we will all be following dictates from Brussels. Don’t forget that not one of our E.U. leaders has actually been voted into office by the populace.

BananasAs a young person would you really want to dictate to all of Europe that bananas must be a certain shape and size, and that cabbages must be round. These are to give you an idea of the stupid rules that Brussels tried to pass on to Europe some time back. Why is the shape of bananas and cabbages so important, answer me that! These are but two examples of what those fools in Brussels have done, so do you think they will be capable of running 28 countries with different traditions and way of life? If we stayed in this is what we would be heading for, the country being run by idiots who have no idea of British values.

As a further example, look what the Human Rights fools have done to our Justice system. Nowadays, you can murder someone and get no more than three or four years in prison, despite being sentenced to twenty or thirty years in the courts.

Our prisons are full to overflowing with foreign criminals, mostly Muslim, yet we can’t deport them. Hell! We can’t even deport those who came into the country illegally.

We have no control over immigrants coming into the country, despite what Cameron said about restricting entry to 100,000 a year. They are still flooding in, and what are they looking for? Benefits!

Old Age Pensioner In The Cold

Old Age Pensioner In The Cold

Our own old people have to choose between eating and staying warm in the winter because we cannot afford to help them. Sadly, many of them die in loneliness. In the meantime immigrants are taking home huge sums of tax payers money because they have ten children, a father, mother, uncle, aunt and grandparents to feed. Please don’t try to convince me that this is the right thing to do! We should be taking care of our own first, not molly coddling those who come here for benefits.

What about all the changes that Muslim immigrants are making to the fabric of this nation. In some areas our children cannot get a decent education because more than half of the class only speak Arabic and our youngsters are the ones that suffer the consequences. In Bradford, Birmingham and many other cities, the Muslims have tried to take over our schools and ignore the plight of English children who are there to learn.

They form ghettos in our cities and towns where you hear nothing but Arabic. They make no attempt whatsoever to learn the language of this country or respect our way of life.

We have to put up with Muslim demonstrators on the streets of our cities and towns carrying placards that ‘Islam Will Rule The World” or “Death To The Infidels”. Is this what all those who deny Brexit want, for it will flourish until we cannot stop it.

On top of that we have Muslims raping women and small children at will because the Qu’ran says they can. They sell our young children into sex slavery whenever they please and the police do nothing because they have been told “We should not upset the Muslims”! If you demonstrate on the streets anywhere against immigration you will immediately be arrested and charged, but if the Muslims do it they are given a police escort!!!

There can be little doubt that we must get back control of our country, and Brexit is the only way to do it. So before you start demonstrating and signing petitions think about these few points I have mentioned.

The British Referendum On Europe

Posted in Britain, Conservative Party, David Cameron, European Union, Government, Immigrants, News, Parliament, Politics, UK with tags , , , , on 21/05/2015 by floroy1942

David Cameron promised a referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union (E.U.) and it got him elected, apart from the fact he had no real competition (I say that because no-one with any intelligence would vote for that clown Miliband). Cameron promised the referendum before the end of 2017 and this time he will have to honour that promise.

Which Is More Important? Our Country Or The Union?

Which Is More Important? Our Country Or The Union?

It is still 2015 and yet the muck is starting fly already because some people are insisting that E.U. migrants living in the U.K. should be allowed to vote in the referendum. How totally stupid is that!

The problem seems to be that there are over one million E.U. migrants living in the U.K., and they could well tip the balance to us staying in when the majority of British people want us to get out. They will certainly vote to stay in for their own interests.

In my view, another thorn in the side are the immigrants that have flooded in since Tony Blair opened the doors to this country. We currently have 7.5 million immigrants in the country who make up 11.9% of the total population. They too will have a huge effect on the outcome of this referendum. I believe these people will also vote to stay in because they can see major immigration curbs coming if we opt out, and they may prevent family members from joining them.

The idea has been put forward that only those born and bred should be allowed a vote, and to be honest, I agree. If that is not the case then the future of this country could well be decided by the immigrant population, and that is not right.

A Man With A Dilemma. Let's Hope He Makes The Right Decision

A Man With A Dilemma. Let’s Hope He Makes The Right Decision

David Cameron has said that he will make his decision known before the referendum date, but I for one hope he airs on the side of caution. Currently there are worries that pro-Europeans will try to rig the outcome by demanding that everyone has a say in the final vote. If that happens, in my view it will be a disaster. E.U. immigrants are currently allowed to vote in local and European elections but not general elections and that is how it should stay.

Some people in parliamentary circles are pushing for the referendum to be brought forward to 2016. Labour leadership front-runner Andy Burnham said in an interview, “It should be in the Queen’s Speech that it should be in 2016, and the message I would send to Cameron is that I would offer support to deliver it in 2016. It is not going to be in anybody’s interest for this to rumble on through this parliament. We have to get to it. We have to do it, embrace the argument. That is the most fundamental problem facing British business right now.” I wonder however if he will support the government on the voting question. It should be interesting to find out.

I hope that we can get out from under the yoke of Europe that dictates to us how we should run our country. With its Human Rights Laws, Immigration Laws and Justice Laws etc. this country is slowly being strangled, and any true born and bred British person has less rights than an immigrant! That is not the way it is supposed to be. We need to leave Europe and run our own affairs as we have always done, for the experiences of the past have proven that our system works, and works well.

Britain To Leave The European Union?

Posted in Britain, David Cameron, Elections, England, Europe, Human Rights, Immigrants, UK with tags , , , on 01/07/2012 by floroy1942

If David Cameron puts into practice a suggestion he made today of a referendum on the United Kingdoms’ partnership with Europe, could the people vote to leave? For years there has been disquiet among the UK population about membership of the Union, none of which takes into consideration the economic and trade implications.

Many of the laws passed in Europe find their way into UK legislation, much to the irritation of many, for some concern both legal and illegal immigrants and gives these people the ability to run roughshod over our laws. As an example, these laws have very often stalled the deportation of proven criminals when they make use of the Human Rights Charter.

On the other hand, leaving the Union may well cause irreparable damage to the City of London, and it may not stay the financial capital of Europe. It is well within the realms of possibility we could see a mass exit of major banks and companies from The City who feel they must operate from an EU country if they are to do business within the Union.

Without doubt, Mr. Cameron is on a dangerous path, not only for the country, but for his own political future.  It is imperative that everyone is fully informed of the implications of leaving Europe, both in economics and trade, for it will be a bumpy path. It is difficult to say who is in the majority, those for or those against, but one thing is certain, the outcome may surprise us all.

Personally I think that if the vote goes the way it should, i.e. a ‘Yes’ vote, at least it may shut the mouths of those among us who constantly use our membership as an excuse for all that ails the country. It’s up to the government to accept those laws and rules that are good for the country, and reject those that go against our national sovereignty, laws, and our ability to control properly our own affairs. Not only that, but we the people need to get up off our backsides and start working towards fixing all that is wrong with ‘Great’ Britain once and for all.

Britain should not be ruled by Europe but it can be an integral part of it without the ‘big brother’ approach. Considering the number of disgruntled citizens within our shores who moan endlessly about the EU, it can only be hoped that cooler heads will rule the day.
