The British Referendum On Europe

Posted in Britain, Conservative Party, David Cameron, European Union, Government, Immigrants, News, Parliament, Politics, UK with tags , , , , on 21/05/2015 by floroy1942

David Cameron promised a referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union (E.U.) and it got him elected, apart from the fact he had no real competition (I say that because no-one with any intelligence would vote for that clown Miliband). Cameron promised the referendum before the end of 2017 and this time he will have to honour that promise.

Which Is More Important? Our Country Or The Union?

Which Is More Important? Our Country Or The Union?

It is still 2015 and yet the muck is starting fly already because some people are insisting that E.U. migrants living in the U.K. should be allowed to vote in the referendum. How totally stupid is that!

The problem seems to be that there are over one million E.U. migrants living in the U.K., and they could well tip the balance to us staying in when the majority of British people want us to get out. They will certainly vote to stay in for their own interests.

In my view, another thorn in the side are the immigrants that have flooded in since Tony Blair opened the doors to this country. We currently have 7.5 million immigrants in the country who make up 11.9% of the total population. They too will have a huge effect on the outcome of this referendum. I believe these people will also vote to stay in because they can see major immigration curbs coming if we opt out, and they may prevent family members from joining them.

The idea has been put forward that only those born and bred should be allowed a vote, and to be honest, I agree. If that is not the case then the future of this country could well be decided by the immigrant population, and that is not right.

A Man With A Dilemma. Let's Hope He Makes The Right Decision

A Man With A Dilemma. Let’s Hope He Makes The Right Decision

David Cameron has said that he will make his decision known before the referendum date, but I for one hope he airs on the side of caution. Currently there are worries that pro-Europeans will try to rig the outcome by demanding that everyone has a say in the final vote. If that happens, in my view it will be a disaster. E.U. immigrants are currently allowed to vote in local and European elections but not general elections and that is how it should stay.

Some people in parliamentary circles are pushing for the referendum to be brought forward to 2016. Labour leadership front-runner Andy Burnham said in an interview, “It should be in the Queen’s Speech that it should be in 2016, and the message I would send to Cameron is that I would offer support to deliver it in 2016. It is not going to be in anybody’s interest for this to rumble on through this parliament. We have to get to it. We have to do it, embrace the argument. That is the most fundamental problem facing British business right now.” I wonder however if he will support the government on the voting question. It should be interesting to find out.

I hope that we can get out from under the yoke of Europe that dictates to us how we should run our country. With its Human Rights Laws, Immigration Laws and Justice Laws etc. this country is slowly being strangled, and any true born and bred British person has less rights than an immigrant! That is not the way it is supposed to be. We need to leave Europe and run our own affairs as we have always done, for the experiences of the past have proven that our system works, and works well.

Margaret Thatcher – Saint or Devil!

The 'Iron Lady'

The ‘Iron Lady’

There can be little doubt that the death of Margaret Thatcher has raised many feelings in Britain. Seldom in British politics has the death of a politician caused such diverse emotions among the population, for many have mourned her passing while others have celebrated it. Reading news items on the subject, and especially distasteful readers comments that have been posted on them, I am appalled at the callousness of people who have not taken the trouble to find out the facts of the ‘Iron Lady’s reign.

Scargill - Miners Leader

Scargill – Miners Leader

One of the biggest things she is accused of is destroying the mining industry in Britain. This is simply not true! The person behind the demise of this industry is none other than Arthur Scargill, who alone bears responsibility. What many people seem to forget, or do not know, is that he was a communist.  He joined the Young Communist League and became its Yorkshire District Chair in 1956 and went on later in the year to be a member of its National Executive Committee. He rose rapidly in the National Union of Miners (NUM), and when Margaret Thatcher ordered the closure of 20 loss-making mines, organized several strikes from 1972, culminating in the great strike of 1982-1983 which caused a split in the Union. He is guilty of holding the entire country to ransom at a time when union demands were growing ever bolder, and Margaret Thatcher would not give in. It was said at the time, that he refused to allow a ballot of members on whether to strike or not. After this year-long strike he was elected life-time president of the NUM in suspicious circumstances.

Along with Tony Benn of the Labour Party he campaigned hard for the release of two killers from jail, Russel Shankland and Dean Hancock who had been found guilty in a court of law of the murder of a taxi driver when they threw a concrete block off a bridge onto his taxi. Their campaign was successful, for the killers had their sentences reduced from life to eight years in 1985, and they were eventually released from prison in November 1989.

Ever since he was forced to step down from the Presidency, and membership of the Union in 2010, it became clear he is a true Communist sympathizer, and has gone on record as a supporter of Joseph Stalin, saying that the “ideas of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin” explain the “real world”.

Barbican – Scargill’s Apartment for £34,000 A Year From NUM Funds

Another scandal hit Scargill in January 2012 when he insisted the Union pay his car expenses of £13,000, which he won in court. At the time the NUM General Secretary Chris Kitchen said, “I honestly do believe that Arthur, in his own world, believes that the NUM is here to afford him the lifestyle that he’s become accustomed to.” Later, in December of the same year, he lost a court action against the Union in which he demanded they continue to pay the rent for his apartment in Barbican, London. After this decision Chris Kitchen said,  “I would say it’s time to walk away, Mr Scargill. You’ve been found out. The NUM is not your personal bank account and never will be again.” On Scargill’s instructions The NUM had been paying his rent of £34,000 annually for years.

This is just a taste of the man who many people quote as the hero of the mining industry of Great Britain who managed to shift the blame firmly onto Margaret Thatcher for the demise of the mining industry. The fact that he was a self-confessed communist and agitator, and held the entire country to ransom for a whole year is not worthy of note in the eyes of those who ‘celebrate’ Margaret Thatcher’s death.

During her term as Prime Minister she upheld the principle of limited immigration, unlike Tony Blair of the Labour Party, who blatantly used mass immigration and extravagant Social Security payments as a means of gaining votes.

R.I.P

R.I.P

In the early eighties she reduced taxation to get the economy moving after a period of decline and by reducing government expenditure in education. Cabinet papers of the time reveal that Thatcher actually opposed the policy but was forced into it by the Treasury. Thatcher wrote in her autobiography: “I learned a valuable lesson [from the experience]. I had incurred the maximum of political odium for the minimum of political benefit.” It remains popular belief that Thatcher abolished free school milk for all ages. In fact milk for secondary school pupils was abolished by Edward Short, her predecessor as Education Secretary, whilst free milk for infants was abolished by Shirley Williams.

By 1983 overall economic growth was stronger and inflation and mortgage rates were at their lowest levels since 1970, but she does not get credit for that in some peoples eyes! She oversaw the privatization of several industries in Britain including gas, water and electricity with the intention of providing more competition. There is nothing wrong with that! In fact, regulation was significantly expanded to compensate for the loss of direct government control, and with the setting up of regulatory bodies like Ofgas, Oftel and the National Rivers Authority, until in most cases privatization benefited consumers in terms of lower prices and improved efficiency, but admittedly, the results overall were “mixed”. As Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher consistently opposed the idea of privatizing British Rail, which was eventually done by John Major when he became Prime Minister and look at the mess it’s in today.

With regard to Northern Ireland and the IRA hunger strikers, I believe she was right in preventing those terrorists gaining status as political prisoners. They were not political prisoners, they were terrorists and killers plain and simple.

Falklands

Falklands

Her biggest triumph was the Falklands war, in which British forces took back the islands after the Argentinian invasion of 1982. Her close friendship with the then President of the USA, Ronald Reagan, opened up the possibility for us to strike back through use of the American controlled facilities at Ascension Islands, for refueling both air and sea forces.  Since the Second World War, few Prime Ministers in this country would have had the balls to stand up to such blatant aggression. With most it would have been no more than bleat! bleat! bleat! and endless complaining at the UN, but the Falkland islanders would be Argentinian today. Margaret Thatcher took the bull by the horns and let the world know in no uncertain terms that Britain would not be trifled with. Yet many today even castigate her memory for that!

To all those who are celebrating her death I have but one thing to say, before you blame the “Iron Lady” for every ill that has befallen you, first find out the facts, and then look to yourself and ask the question, In the same circumstances could I have done any better!!!!!!

The NHS – National Hospital Shambles

Posted in Britain, Budget Cuts, Conservative Party, David Cameron, England, Government, Government Spending, Health, Immigrants, Insanity, Liberal Party, Nick Clegg, UK with tags , , , , , , , , on 17/06/2011 by floroy1942

Says It All!

The British National Health Service (NHS) is without doubt the most disgusting, inefficient and money wasting enterprise in the UK. It is in too many areas badly managed, badly staffed and badly equipped for the times. In an ideal situation the whole edifice would be torn down and reorganized from the top down. Unfortunately, this is not possible.

There are of course good hospitals, and there are good doctors and nurses who do their best to provide care, comfort and relief, and by no means do I wish to belittle these people’s efforts, but the system is so broken their actions go mostly unnoticed.

The Numbers Don’t Lie!

We have tens of thousands of patients who go for treatment only to catch deadly diseases (MRSA) while in the hospital, more than two thousand of whom die (See graph). There are never enough nursing staff, and many of those that are there can barely speak english. Patients in pain, or who even just need a bedpan for example are ignored, and when a patient requests help staff are often rude.

Patients are left unattended for hours on end sometimes resulting in deaths. Mistakes are made during operations, equipment doesn’t work or is incorrectly calibrated, and as for dirt, its everywhere. Cleaning staff are among the most inefficient in the entire enterprise. The list goes on and on and no-one, not even the politicians, seems capable of fixing it.

Cameron Flogging A Dead Horse

David Cameron has been laying forth his plan for the NHS this last week but it will not fix any of the problems. When it comes to finding a cure for what ails our health serevice all governments (from both sides of the house) can come up with is; Let’s privatize!

Cameron on NHS reforms:

In the old days (Oh no, here he goes again) they didn’t have all the fancy instruments and machines they have today, they didn’t even have the level of knowledge, but patients didn’t die from hospital borne diseases, a nurse was always there when you needed one and the wards, operating theaters etc were so clean you could eat off the floor. Why was this? What has changed the system so drastically?

Matron And Her Charges

Well, for a start, if you were a nurse it was like being in the military because the old style Matron was ‘The General’! If she said “Jump” a nurse asked “How high”! In those days Matrons ruled their entire ward with a rod of iron, and woe betide any cleaner who missed a spot or a nurse who didn’t answer a patients call within 30 seconds. Mind you, they knew how to get troublesome patients back in line too so it wasn’t all rosy.

Sadly, these cornerstones on which the NHS rested were done away with when in 1967 the Salmon Report, which initiated restructuring of the NHS, was put into practice.

So what prompted this rant about the NHS? Well, I have to say it was a report I read in the news about a young mother and her baby who died in hospital due to neglect by the staff.

Queen’s Hospital Romford

The hospital in question is Queens Hospital in Romford east London. The young mother, Tebussem Ali (known as Serena) died in the maternity unit when staff failed to recognise she had a ruptured womb. When she complained to nurses about great pain, staff were rude and sarcastic to her, telling her to “stop being a drama queen” and to stop “behaving like a child”.

Serena And Her Husband Shortly Before She Died

Once it was discovered by medics she had a serious problem they could not find her notes. Resuscitation was attempted with an oxygen mask that was not even connected to a supply and it was Serena’a husband, Usman Javed, who noticed the error, but by then it was too late.

Of course the hospital issued the standard apology with the usual promises  (probably pre-printed) to improve the situation and now expect business as usual and the whole mess to go away, but it shouldn’t be allowed to just “Go Away”. Those to blame  should be fired, and others should have severe disciplinary action taken against them for the death of this young woman and her baby. It just isn’t good enough to say “Oh! We’re sorry” and everything gets flushed down the toilet. A young woman and her child are dead!

Saira And Daughter – A Close Call For Mother And Child At Queens

Saira And Daughter – A Close Call For Mother And Child At Queens

In 2010 Saira Chaudhri went to Queen’s maternity ward only to be told she was not in labour. After pleading with staff she was still told to go home but only reached the car park when someone noticed blood on her trousers. She was immediately rushed back in. It seems the machine they had used to measure her contractions had been faulty.

Earlier this year two midwives from the same hospital were ‘suspended’ after the death of a mother and her new born baby. Suspended? Not fired! The hospital administration should have ensured these two people never worked as midwives ever again!

These are just two cases and are far from isolated. This sort of thing  happens every day in our hospitals and sometimes its much worse.

A sample video of hospital errors:

Cleaning By Private Companies

Patients have left hospital, thankful they survived the experience, complaining of filthy wards, dirty beds and patients bed sheets not being changed when required, as well as disgraceful rudeness from nursing staff and many who cannot even speak english.

This language problem is the fault of the previous government who trolled the world, and in particular ex-colonies, for nursing staff to fill the yawning gap in NHS needs. Those recruiting these foreign nurses didn’t seem to attach much importance to the candidates being able to speak english. “You have a dodgy qualification as a nurse? Right, here’s your plane ticket!”

The Sharp End

The general situation has gotten so bad with the NHS, that the ‘sticking plaster’ approach of fixing the problems so favoured by politicians, just ain’t gonna work!

Probably the most important answer to these difficulties would be to bring back the Matrons, but sadly, they are all pensioners or have already passed on. I don’t think for one minute there is anyone around at the present time who could match up to the Matrons of old.

Looks Complicated Doesn’t It

But one essential move that could be made by Cameron and his crew is to get rid of all these bloody managers that infest the system  like a cancer (waste). Secondly, privatisation in all its forms should be done away with, especially in regard to hospital cleaning services (cleanliness). Thirdly, mandatory language training must begin for all foreign nationals working in the NHS (communication), and lastly, we need to start training our own people, doctors and nurses, to be the next generation of hospital staff (staff levels).

To me these actions will help solve many of our most pressing problems in the NHS, and I can’t see for the life of me why our stupid politicians cannot see it too.

For example, if you need an administrator, why not recruit from older nursing staff who know the system inside out. Why must it be someone who may be a good manager, but has never worked in a medical environment and therefore does not understand the problems.

Time For A Real Change

Other countries don’t have the problems in the health profession that we do, the only reason we must suffer this chaos is firstly the politicians make a balls-up whenever they get involved, and standards in our health institutions have dropped so low as to have left a hole in floor.

What to do? Find a government that will act responsibly in sorting out the problems by making the correct decisions! Well, its either that or some Whitehall chappie had better shove my post under the P.M’s nose! Huh! Some hopes!

You’ve Got It Wrong Ken – Clark on Prison Reform

Posted in Britain, England, Government, Government Spending, Immigrants, Insanity, Justice, Modern World, MP's, Old Age Pensioner, Parliament, Police, Prison, UK with tags , , , , , , , , , on 05/03/2011 by floroy1942

Ken Clark, the British Justice Secretary, has come under fire from Magistrates for his prison reform agenda. He has stated he wants prisoners who are “unlikely to get a prison sentence” to be given automatic bail. It’s all part of his plan to reduce costs and solve the overcrowding in british prisons.

Where It All Begins

Thankfully, those with more brains, i.e. the Magistrates, are coming out in opposition. Due to the overcrowding, most felons get off with community service or ‘slap on the wrist’ anyway these days, so that means the greater majority of criminals, around 35,000, will be back on the streets straight away if Ken has his way.

The magistrates are, quite rightly in my opinion, afraid offenders will have all the time they need to intimidate witnesses, commit further crimes, and fail to turn up for their hearings. All fairly logical and pretty obvious to anyone but a dimwit.

Another Misguided Politician

Ken Clark has put forward many proposals to ease the prison population, among them halving the sentences of criminals who confess to their crimes, and releasing 3,000 of the current 80,000 inmate population early. He claims he wants to “break the cycle” of reoffending by tackling the causes of crime. Bullshit Ken!

The only thing a hardened criminal respects is a long hard prison term and nothing less will do the job. It is long past time when authorities recognize that criminals are a danger to society and no amount of hand-wringing and psychological babble is going to make them mend their ways. Certainly not reducing sentences, for all that will do is make the situation worse. If a felon knows he can commit crimes and get away with it almost scot-free he will laugh at the justice system all the way to his short-stay cell.

To give the man credit, he has stated that inmates of HM Prisons should be made to work a full working week just like the rest of us, and more demanding community sentencing is required, which is fine so long as the correct controls are in place. He also advocates deporting immigrant criminals instead of giving them a custodial sentence in Britain. Now that I do agree with!

All the Comforts of Home

I have made my feelings on this general subject amply in the past in previous posts and still believe heavier sentencing and removing the ‘5 star hotel’ atmosphere in prisons is the best answer. Make prisons something to be feared by all criminals as it was in the past. That will sure as hell break the cycle of reoffending and no doubt about it.

It seems all the measures being taken by Ken Clark are aimed at reducing the prison population and more importantly, reducing costs. His stated aim is to reduce the £4Bn per year prison and probation costs by 20% in the next 4 years. Good Luck Ken – You’ll need it! The general public will as usual be the losers!

One of the main problems today is overcrowding, but to me that means we should build more prisons not release prisoners early to reduce it. Although some attempts have been made to increase the prison capacity over the last three decades, it has proven to be insufficient. The main reason for this is the inability of the authorities to prevent villains from reoffending, and jail sentencing has become so much of a joke its no longer a deterrent.

That's Funny - I Don't Have One. You?

Today’s jailbirds live in far better conditions than the majority of our old age pensioners, which in itself is a scandal. There is nothing hard or harsh about prison life these days, its more akin to a holiday camp with all the comforts of home. TV, gym equipment, snooker tables, cinema, games and library, in fact everything we ordinary law-abiding mortals do not have. And on top of that, they get to sit around on their fat duffs for most of the time. Where in the name of all thats holy is the incentive to ‘go straight’ after a prison sentence?

I am not going to go into what I think prisons should be like again, I have done it so often, suffice it to say, if you are interested, I refer you to my earlier posts as follows:

Six Months In Here and You Won't Re-Offend!

There can be little doubt that our justice system is in urgent need of a major overhaul, for the prime facet of law enforcement, i.e. taking criminals out of circulation and thereby protecting the public, no longer seems to be a prime motivator.

From what I have read in recent news bulletins I am convinced that Ken Clark is totally on the wrong track. His reforms will do nothing to bolster public faith in the justice system of our country, and as the magistrates have already said, they are more likely to undermine that confidence. Ah Well! Roll on the next politician who promises to be ‘tough on crime’!

Gordon, You’re So Out of Touch!

Posted in Britain, Elections, England, Immigration, Justice, Muslim, Parliament, Prison, Teen alcohol abuse, UK, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on 03/03/2010 by floroy1942

Praying for a Win?

Gordon Brown has once again proved how out of touch he is with the people of Britain. In a speech given to the Thames Valley Police last Monday he had the gall to suggest the ‘fear of crime’ by the population was nothing more than a political ploy by the Tories! What planet does this guy live on?

Fear of crime has been one of the main causes of concern for people in all walks of life for a decade! People no longer feel safe walking down the street of most towns and cities in the UK, and certainly not in their own home. Since the rise of the drunken yob culture in Britain it would be a brave man or woman who walks through the town centre on a Saturday evening. And yet, our esteemed Prime Minister thinks it’s a Tory ploy to get more votes.

Labour has been soft on crime ever since it came to power, in fact, it has exasperated the situation with its immigration policy because many of those responsible for the crime wave are immigrants. The Justice System is on the verge of total collapse due to his governments policy of releasing prisoners early and giving shorter sentences to ease the prison overcrowding instead of building more prisons.

Edlington Twins

Someone who commits cold-blooded murder gets less time in prison than a caring relative who assists a terminally ill patient in great pain to die. Career criminals are given community sentences which most of them ignore, and vicious torturers like the Edlington twins will be out in less than five years with a new identity.

He told the Thames Valley Police that in the last ten years prison sentences have ‘gone up’. What were they prior to that, zero? The number of repeat offenders who were released early has gone up dramatically since Labour swept to power in 1997, but nothing has been done to get these people off the streets.

Habitual Criminal Walid Salem

The case of Waled Salem the Egyptian career criminal who was caught by millionaire Munier Hussain and finally taught a lesson is a fine example, a lesson I might add that saw Hussain and his brother go to jail and Salem let off!

Prisoner Tag

Now Labour is apologising to jailbirds who will not be released early under the cancelled End of Custody Licence (ECL) Scheme and offering them early release with a tag. Under the ECL scheme, prisoners were released up to eighteen days before completion of their sentence, but under the new plan, they would be released up to four-and-a-half-months early! I can hear the cheers from the prisoners from here!

Another bone of contention brought to light yesterday by Lord Cary, a former Archbishop of Canterbury, accuses the government of ‘a strident and bullying campaign’ to marginalise Christianity in the name of political correctness. He said; “We have reached a point where politicians are mocked for merely expressing their faith….I cannot imagine any politician expressing concern that Britain should remain a Christian country. That reticence is a scandal and a disgrace to our history”.

Outspoken

Speaking before the Christian Broadcasting Council he highlighted two cases of people being victimised because of their faith. Olive Jones was sacked from her position as teacher for offering to pray for a cancer patient with whom she was working, and Caroline Petrie, a nurse in Somerset was suspended for offering to pray for a patient on her ward. She was later reinstated after a public outcry.

He is not the only one of our top clergy to express such a view. Last month Dr. John Sentamu the Bishop of York made his views known with the following; “Christianity is being pushed out of public life in a ‘ferocious and insidious manner'”.

Just how far down this ‘Politically Correct’ path are we expected to go. The government is without doubt backing this ridiculous practice, and so are the courts. Are we to remove all signs of religion in the country so we don’t upset the Muslims. Must they rule our country? Unless drastic steps are taken to reassert the rights of Britons in their own country, they will be within a few short years. They are already well on the way to achieving complete domination of local and national government.

Its the same old ‘elections are near’ bullshit from both the major political parties who are trying to dazzle, or more likely ‘con’ us into voting for them. As usual they pump out the same old rhetoric of how they alone are capable of ‘saving the nation’, but its all a smokescreen because once they are in power all the promises will be forgotten and it will be ‘business as usual’.

The Labour strategy of allowing in hundreds of thousands of labour supporting immigrants has kept them in power for far too long and now it is time they were put out to graze. They have done more than enough damage to our homeland, damage which I am sorry to say, may be irreversible.

David Cameron

No government in the history of our nation has done as much damage to our once proud nation, and so successfully sabotaged all the sacrifices made by previous generations to keep our country great. It is time for them to be consigned to history with the hope that the next government has the guts to salvage what is left of our land and our culture before it disappears into history. Whatever you do, don’t expect ‘Smoothie’ Cameron and his bunch to change anything if they win the election.

May God have mercy on us all!

Desperate Dan

The news these days is often like reading the old time comic books. There are some strange stories out there that find their way into print. Take the case of a woman who had her car stolen while she was delivering a parcel. An opportunistic thief jumped into her car and drove off with the woman’s 3 year-old daughter in the back. The police found the car abandoned some 20 minutes later with the girl safe. It was removed by the police for forensic examination, and the victim received a letter from the tow company working for the police to say she would have to pay £150 to get her car back because it had been ‘abandoned’. According to a police spokesman, this was standard practice for abandoned cars. But it wasn’t abandoned, it was stolen the woman said, but she still had to pay. How nutty can you get!

It can be revealed that Gordon Brown the UK Prime Minister has changed his favourite snack from Kit-Kat chocolate bars to bananas. He now eats 9 a day. His reason, he wants to appear ‘radiant’ for the General Election. It seems they contain tryptophan, an amino acid that can be converted into seratonin by the body which then improves your mood. Doctors say that consuming so many bananas every day can cause gastrointestinal problems and flatulence. It would certainly be unseemly for the Prime Minister to have an attack of flatulence during a speech! – “I can assure you” Phuuurmh! “this government will” Phuuurmh! “lead our country for the next four years” Phuuurmh!”

Better cut down on the banana’s Gordon.

It has just been reported that in 2009 over 2,000 people in the UK claimed benefit because they were too fat to work! This figure is only slightly less than the figures for 2008 when 2,070 people claimed benefit on the grounds of obesity. Currently this is costing the tax-payer £10m a year and the figures are set to rise annually. It is estimated that 17% of men and more than 25% of women are now obese in Britain, and among the country’s youth more than 33% are now considered overweight. The problem is only going to get worse. The down side, especially for the overweight youth of today, is that life expectancy will be down by 10-15 years. Even now, overweight people are struggling to live past 55 years of age. The answer is obviously a strict diet and exercise!

Yesterday, passengers on a number 24 bus in London were left gob-smacked when their driver suddenly stopped the bus and got out of his cab leaving the engine running. He laid out a mat on the floor of the bus by the exit and to the astonishment of all, after removing his shoes knelt down and started to pray. He was a Muslim. It was 5 minutes before he got back into the cab and continued the journey. Good job he wasn’t a pilot! Inshallah!

A Greek Cypriot ex-teacher of Bigland Green Primary School in Tower Hamlets London is suing his old school for racial discrimination. He had complained to the headmistress Jill Hankey that the children in his class, 8-10 year-old Muslims, were uttering openly racist and extremist comments. Some were; “We want to be Islamic bombers when we grow up”, and “Kill all Christians and Jews”. Once when he accidentally brushed against a boy, the child turned on him and said “Don’t touch me, you are a Christian”.  Most of the class said they thought the 9/11 bombers were heroes and martyrs. The teacher, Nicholas Koufuris claims he was forced out of his job by the headmistress for complaining about what was being said in his classroom. Each time he mentioned it she made excuses to justify the comments. My only comment is, that if children of such a young age are being corrupted to such a degree, and this behaviour is widespread among Muslim children, then Britain and perhaps the western world are headed for big trouble.

Have you heard about he woman who thought her swollen stomach was due to a complication with an ovarian cyst and found out she was 7 months pregnant? She had been diagnosed as having an ovarian cyst, an under-developed womb and blocked fallopian tubes in her early twenties. When her belly began to swell she thought it was to do with her illness because she had been told she would never bear a child. Eventually she went to her doctor who diagnosed that she was 7 months pregnant. Now at the age of 33, she had a premature baby girl 2 weeks later. The wonders of nature!

Harriet Harman, Gordon Brown’s Minister for Equality and Leader of the House of Commons is back in the news for all the wrong reasons. Her latest plan is to ‘outlaw’ the word Chairman! She feels that the name is sexist and should be replaced by ‘Chair’ or Chairperson’ or even ‘Occupant of the Chair’. She also wants the Chairman’s Panel to be called ‘The Panel of Chairs’. Grow Up Harriet! You would be far better employed ensuring the Muslim Burka is banned from the streets of Britain! Oh Damn! Of course you can’t do that because it would upset the Muslims!

Just another day in paradise!

Roy
