Child Abuse – The Scourge Of Our Times

Posted in America, Britain, Child Abuse, David Cameron, European Union, Extradition, Immigrants, News, Religion, Teens with tags , , , , on 05/03/2015 by floroy1942

Is it mere coincidence that along with the influx of so many Muslim immigrants the rate of child abuse and rape has risen beyond anything previously ever known in our history?  I think not!

Tony Blair certainly did irreparable harm to this country in more ways than one when he introduced his ‘Multi-Cultural’ Britain policy. Now young women, girls as young as eleven, and even boys are being systematically snatched, raped and trafficked by these people.

Coercion Of The Worst Kind

Coercion Of The Worst Kind

One young girl told of being doused in petrol and the gang threatened to set her alight if she told anyone what was happening. Others were made to watch as other girls were raped by several men and told they would be next if they talked.

In Rotherham two fathers actually tracked down a Muslim gang who were abusing their daughters, and when they tried to rescue them were promptly arrested by the Police.

Fancy Going To A Party Girls? – A Muslim Pick-up.

Experts say  that as many as a million children are sexually abused every day in the U.K. and yet in most cases they are either too scared to report it, or when they do, are not believed by the authorities. Local councils, Social Services and the Police are all guilty of not doing enough to combat this tragic crime.

One of the worst areas in Britain is Rotherham in South Yorkshire where this crime is rampant. At least 1,400 children were sexually exploited in Rotherham by gangs of men who were predominantly of Pakistani origin between 1997 and 2013. Oxford has also hit the headlines when a serious case review into abuse of children found as many as 373 children may have been the victims of sexual grooming in the county over the past 16 years.

You See Here How They Think Of Rape - It Is Their Right!

You See Here How They Think Of Rape – It Is Their Right!

Girls as young as eleven have been abducted by these gangs who then rape them, often many times, and then pass them on to other gangs. That the people doing this are Muslims can be in little doubt because rape is allowed under the Qu’ran, despite what some Muslims will tell you to the contrary.

The Qu’ran states: Qur’an 23:1-6—The Believers must (eventually) win through—those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess—for (in their case) they are free from blame. This means in effect that any female who is ‘captured’ by a Muslim is open to such abuse and it is allowed.

A Victim

A Victim

Another verse says: Qur’an 70:22-30—Not so those devoted to Prayer—those who remain steadfast to their prayer; and those in whose wealth is a recognized right for the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking); and those who hold to the truth of the Day Of Judgement; and those who fear the displeasure of their Lord—for their Lord’s displeasure is the opposite of Peace and Tranquillity—and those who guard their chastity, except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess—for (then) they are not to be blamed.

It is common knowledge that Muslims feel free under their religion to groom young women and children in their own countries, so why should it be any different here, especially when our government and law enforcement agencies turn a blind eye because of Tony Blair’s Racism Laws.

Rape Gang Members

Rape Gang Members

As The Qu’ran says, there is nothing in Muslim Law to stop these creatures from ‘capturing’ a girl, or boy, and raping them at their leisure. All this is far removed from the laws of any western nation, but few people in government, local councils or the Police seem to appreciate this. Everyone has turned a blind eye to it because they could be called racist.

What on earth has gotten into these agencies that they can just sit on their hands while young British children and girls are systematically snatched from the pavement and made to suffer this horrendous torture? Have we, the British people lost our humanity completely in the name of racism!

Hmmm - Perhaps I should Have Done Something Earlier!

Hmmm – Perhaps I should Have Done Something Earlier!

FINALLY, Cameron has got off his backside and is now introducing new laws to punish those who ignore such events. This will cover Social Services, Councils, Teachers and the Police who fail to protect the lives of children, and its not before time. Anyone who fails in their duty could face up to five years in prison.

In an interview the Prime Minister said, “Young girls – and they are young girls – being abused over and over again on an industrial scale, being raped, being passed from one bunch of perpetrators to another bunch of perpetrators. All the while this has happened with too many organisations and too many people walking on by (Yes –  including the government). We have got to really resolve that this stops here, it doesn’t happen again and we recognise abuse for what it is.” Brave words Mr. Cameron, but why didn’t you say this years ago.

The Shame Of Political Correctness

The Shame Of Political Correctness

It is a fact that the previous Labour Government knew all about this problem when it started under their rule, but chose to ignore it so as not to appear racist. The Labour Party has many such failures in its portfolio but because election time is near they are all kept secret or brushed under the carpet.

I have often commented that the last period of Labour rule under Blair and Brown is without doubt the darkest in the history of Britain. No-one in the entire history of this nation has done so much damage. The sad thing is, there are still idiots in the country who want to elect them to power at the next election. Talk about the blind leading the blind!

Anyway, I digress. Without doubt it is the responsibility of the government to take such measures as necessary to stamp out this vile and evil trade of abuse and trafficking by immigrants. The Police need to be mobilised to track down and arrest anyone involved in this ‘business’, for this is what it has become.

Deportation - The Only Answer!

Deportation – The Only Answer!

The government and Justice Department must ensure that after a stiff prison sentence they have their passports revoked, are deported along with their families, and NEVER allowed back in the country. But, just as important, all relevant information must be shared with every other European Union country so these people can never step foot in Europe again.

It would not be satisfactory for these people to be deported from Britain and be able to claim French, Dutch or Belgian citizenship for example, for if they gain citizenship of say Holland, they can return as Dutch citizens.

Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil - All In The Name Of Our Racist Laws

Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil – All In The Name Of Our Racist Laws

In my view this must become a top priority for the law enforcement agencies and must not take a year or two to complete, but be finished within the shortest possible time. I am very sure that many of the participants in this vile trade are already known to the Police and can be arrested within a very short time. We have to show these thugs that Britain will not stand for such treatment of our girls and women, for this is still a Christian country and is not yet under Muslim Law!

The Farce That Is Human Rights Watch

Posted in Afghanistan, Al Quada, America, Children, Human Rights, Insurgents, News, Taliban, Terrorism, United Nations with tags , , , , on 26/12/2014 by floroy1942

The events in Pakistan last week have convinced me that Human Rights Watch (HRW) are a bunch of sanctimonious idiots, and not for the first time. Just about everyone knows of the tragic terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar in which 149 were killed, including 132 children, and now it seems these idiots are siding with the militants.

In This Case That's All They Are Good For!

In This Case That’s All They Are Good For!

Why do I say that? Well, Human Rights Watch have strongly protested the decision by the Pakistan government to end the suspension of hanging insurgents who have been found guilty of terrorist offences.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

Last Friday the death sentence of two militants found guilty of terrorism offences in 2003 and 2009 were carried out on orders of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who stated that the death sentence, suspended in 2008, would be reinstated. This was in reaction to the horrific killings in Peshawar.

The two terrorist who were hanged last Friday in Punjab Province were Arshad Mehmood, found guilty of being involved in the 2003 assassination attempt on former military ruler General Pervez Musharraf, and Aqil, who was convicted of taking part in an attack on the army headquarters in Rawalpindi in 2009.

The Taliban Killers Just Walked In And Opened Fire On The Gathered Children - 142 Died

The Taliban Killers Just Walked In And Opened Fire On The Gathered Children – 142 Died

Human Rights Watch launched a world-wide protest at the hanging of these two terrorists, calling them  “a craven politicized reaction to the Peshawar killings”, and demanded that no further hangings be carried out.

In a statement the group said, “Pakistan’s government has chosen to indulge in vengeful blood-lust instead of finding and prosecuting those responsible for the horrific Peshawar attack.” This begs the question, when the Pakistan Authorities do find this group of merciless killers and condemn them to death, will the HRW contest their execution as well?

Even SADISTIC Child Killers Amnesty?????

Even SADISTIC Child Killers Amnesty?????

Amnesty International has also jumped on the bandwagon, releasing the following statement: “This is a cynical reaction from the government. It masks a failure to deal with the core issue highlighted by the Peshawar attack, namely the lack of effective protection for civilians in north-west Pakistan.”

Even the United Nations has contested the deaths by saying, “the death penalty has no measurable deterrent effect on levels of insurgent and terrorist violence” and “may even be counter-productive”. “No measurable deterrent”? There’s one thing for sure, neither of them will be committing terrorist offences again!

Islamabad Pirison

Islamabad Prison

Security has been stepped up at all prisons holding militants to prevent an attack to free the thousands of terrorists held in them, for it would not be beyond the realms of possibility that the insurgent groups would make an attempt to free their compatriots.

I am afraid that I agree with the Pakistan governments position in that anyone convicted on terror-related charges should receive the death sentence.  But I would go a step further. Knowing the Islamic fear of pigs, I would cover these people in pig’s blood before hanging them. This means in the Islamic faith that they will not go to heaven, and therefore not get their 72 virgins. That should scare the crap out of them!

Victims from The School

Victims from The School

The one thing I fail to understand is the attitude of groups like HRW and Amnesty International. These do-gooders are always mouthing off at any hint of true justice for perpetrators, but I wonder how they would feel if their children were amongst the dead in Peshawar, or the same thing happened in their home town?

It seems to me that these protest people live in ‘cloud cuckoo’ land, and have failed to recognize the true brutality of these Islamic terrorists. We live in an age where life means nothing to these people who are so bent on sowing death and destruction wherever they can, all in the name of Islam.

Clear How Parents Feel!

Clear How Parents Feel!

I wonder what they would have to say if some of the I.S. militants were to be caught and brought before the court. Remember, these people have beheaded hundreds of innocent civilians in Iraq and Syria! Perhaps HRW, Amnesty and the UN would rather they were imprisoned in a nice cosy cell with waiter service, a TV, game station and library?

It is not until sad people like these are on the receiving end of terrorist brutality that they realize what the world is fighting against. If these people object to the death sentence for such atrocities, the courts could always assign these rabid mongrels to be looked after and cared for by these idiots who are against the death sentence. I would love to see how long their ‘humanity’ would last with a terrorist living in their house, raping their wife and children.

Bin Laden Hideout

Bin Laden Hideout

I must say that to a great extent Pakistan has brought this atrocity on itself, for many members of the government, especially the Intelligence Service, have in my view been in collaboration with the Taliban all along. How else could Bin Laden have lived within a mile of a military base for several years without being caught?

Taliban Strongholds

Taliban Strongholds

Even when the government ordered the troops into the North West Provinces a couple of years ago they did not go all the way to the border and root these terrorists out. No, they stopped before the job was completed and the whole episode was a waste of effort. The government, instead of going all the way and wiping these criminals out, have since tried to appease them for fear they will attack and take over the country.

Where this entire scenario will end, and when, is anybody’s guess. Of one thing you can be sure, many more thousands will die before this sad episode in man’s history is over.

A Sick Truth of Modern Britain

Posted in Al Quada, Benefits, Britain, England, Government Spending, Immigrants, Islamic Revolution, Muslim, Terrorism, UK with tags , , , on 07/06/2013 by floroy1942

Would you believe that the UK Social Welfare System is funding terrorism? Neither would I, but if a report from the Wall Street Journal is anything like the truth, and it seems to be,  the government need to wake up – and quickly!

The WSJ reported that Anjem Choudary, a British-Pakistani receiving £25,000 a year from Social Security, preaches terrorism to his followers, and tells them to take their benefits to fund the jihad. Choudrey is a prominent hate-preacher well known in the UK, and was caught on camera recently praising ‘jihad-seekers’ allowance.’ As he explained to his followers, “The normal situation, really, is to take money from the kafir” (an insult for non-Muslims). “Allahu akbar. We take the money.”

Choudrey is well known as a hater of democracy, liberalism and secularism, and openly demands Sharia Law in the UK. There has to be something drastically wrong with the system for it to support such an’ enemy of the state’. Why do the British tax payers have to support someone who so openly hates Britain and all it stands for?  It is long past due this man had all his benefits stopped, was put on a plane and deported back to Pakistan, or anywhere else that will take him.

The British are extremely tolerant by nature, but this surely goes beyond the pale, especially when you consider that, as the WSJ reports, a British soldier gets a mere £16,000 a year starting salary! £9,000 a year less than this parasite! According to the WSJ “if the reported figure is anywhere near accurate, it would surely be the first time in human history that a society has paid its opponents better than it pays its own“.

He is by far not the only jihadist who lives off the backs of the British tax payer, there are other well known ones like the two Abu’s, Qatada and Hamsa, who have received millions of tax payer money for more than ten years in defence costs against continued attempts by the government to deport  them.  You have to ask: How Many More of Them Are There?

Fourteen Year-Old Pakistani Girl Shows What the Taliban Really Are

Posted in Child Abuse, Insanity, Insurgents, Islamic Revolution, Muslim, Sharia Law, Taliban, Terrorism with tags , , , on 09/10/2012 by floroy1942

Malala At Age 11

Ever since the Taliban shut down her school, Malala Yousafzai from the Swat territory of Pakistan has been campaigning against the Taliban. She was just eleven years old when she started writing a blog for the BBC’s Urdu channel, telling the world what it was like to live under the yoke of the Taliban.

In 2007, when they seized control of Swat and the other border areas in Northern Pakistan after a ‘peace’ agreement with the government, they began a systematic reign of terror that included strict Sharia Law, mass executions, and the closing down of all centres of education for girls. All this in the name of Allah!

Typical Taliban Execution

Then one small girl of eleven began writing a diary of events as they happened under the Taliban. Her writings covered the sufferings of the people under the sadistic regime of the Taliban, and were picked up by the BBC and put into a blog.

Malala Receives Pakistan’s Peace Prize

She soon became famous, and after the insurgents were driven out of Swat by the Pakistan Army in 2009, she was given the highest civilian award by the government and was nominated for an international peace award for child activists. She had always written under the pseudonym Gul Makai, but when she received the award her real name came out. From that day the Taliban were out for vengeance.

Now aged fourteen, they finally caught up with her yesterday, and although details are not clear, a Taliban gunman shot her in the head, it is thought as she was about to board a school bus. The man even asked for her by name so there is no doubt she was the target.

Ehsanullah Ehsan – Taliban Spokesman

A spokesman for the Taliban, Ehsanullah Ehsan has already made public the fact that his group were responsible. Making a statement via telephone he said: “She was pro-West, she was speaking against the Taliban and she was calling President Obama her idol…….She was young but she was promoting Western culture in Pashtun areas.” The Pashtun area of Pakistan is where most of the Taliban fighters come from.

On the subject of the attack, the Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said: “We have to fight the mindset that is involved in this. We have to condemn it… Malala is like my daughter, and yours too. If that mindset prevails, then whose daughter would be safe?”

My only answer to that Raja is: “Actions speak louder than words my son”! So don’t just sit in your fancy chair pontificating about it, get your army organized and go after the bastards!

Malala On Her Way To Hospital

Although shot in the head, and some reports say also in the neck, encouraging reports are now coming from the hospital to say she seems to be out of danger. There can be little doubt that if she comes out of this episode successfully, the Taliban, by their vicious sadistic act will have created a world renowned  figure capable of doing their cause great harm. It can only be hoped that this brave young girl lives and is able to testify to the world all about the sadistic excesses of this greatly feared group of insurgents, and in particular the incompetent and lazy Pakistan government who have done nothing positive to deal with the Taliban.

All she wanted to do is be allowed to go to school and fulfil her dream of studying law and entering politics, but in the Taliban mind that is a death sentence. So much for the love of Allah and his prophet Mohammed!!!!

Pakistan Girl Arrest – The Clock Turns Full Circle

Young, Handicapped, and Innocent

It was with a feeling of satisfaction that I read Saturday that a Muslim cleric has been arrested for planting evidence on the mentally handicapped Rimsha Misah, a 14 year-old girl who has spent two weeks in prison for supposed blasphemy. It is well known that these controversial blasphemy laws have been used frequently by Muslims to get back at people they have a disagreement with, and to terrorise non-Muslim populations. Now, thankfully the ‘chickens have come home to roost’ and the scandalous nature of this despicable law is open for all to see.

Pakistan has a very small number of Christians with 97% of the population being Muslim. They have for many years been victimized in attempts to force them out of their homeland just for their beliefs, and in many cases in the past, the blasphemy laws have been used to stir up trouble. On many occasions ‘Mob Rule’ has taken over once an accusation has been made.  In the southern Punjab city of Bahawalpur last July, a mentally unstable man accused of blasphemy was dragged from a police station by an angry mob. Ignoring his pleas of innocence, the mob doused him with petrol and burned him alive. The girl herself would most likely have been given a death sentence under the blasphemy laws.

How Can Anyone Trust A Muslim Cleric?

In this most recent case, the Imam of the local mosque, Hafiz Mohammed Khalid Chishti was arrested Saturday. He already admitted to inciting his ‘flock’ to force out the Christians, and it was a number of his own followers who stepped forward and gave the vital evidence that resulted in his arrest. “He was arrested after his deputy Maulvi Zubair and two others told a magistrate he added pages from the Koran to the burnt pages brought to him by a witness,” said Munir Hussain Jaffri, a police investigator.

The defence lawyer for the girl Rimsha hopes to have her released today, for she has spent the last two weeks in the notorious Adiala jail, and who knows how much trauma she has suffered. Over 600 of her Christian neighbours in the area have fled, fearing reprisals from the local Muslims.

Not The Place For A Young Girl

It without doubt time for this archaic law to be scrapped, and considering the world-wide publicity this case has caused, now might be a good time for the government to step in and repeal it. Let’s hope so!

If Allah Is Merciful, Then Why Do Muslims Hate So Much?

Posted in Al Quada, America, Britain, Child Abuse, Christianity, Human Rights, Islamic Revolution, Muslim, Religion with tags , , on 20/08/2012 by floroy1942

I read with complete horror yesterday about a mentally disabled 11 year-old Pakistani girl who was arrested by the police at the behest of a baying mob of Muslims. They accused her of blasphemy because she supposedly carried a sack of rubbish with some pages of the Koran mixed in. It was probably just a coincidence that she was Christian from a Christian family, or so they will have us believe.

WHAT!!!

At first the police were loath to take action, but a large screaming crowd of Muslims threatened to start burning down Christian homes if they did not arrest her. It was widely known that the girl had a mental condition but this did not stop the Muslim crowd. When the girl, who is dyslexic, arrived at the police station she could not even answer the police questions. As a result of the disturbance some 600 Christian families have been forced to flee for their lives. Even though the police could find no trace of Koran pages in the sack she carried, the girl is currently being held in Islamabad prison “for her own protection”.

Salman Taseer

Pakistan has long fought a battle with Muslims over the contentious ‘Blasphemy Laws’ currently in force. Several politicians have tried to change them but it has cost them their lives. In 2011 Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, who was a prominent critic of the law, was assassinated by his bodyguard, and in March 2011 Religious Minorities Minister Shahbaz Bhatti was shot dead in Islamabad.

The Killer – How Pleased He Looks.

There is no great rush to follow in their shoes by members of the Pakistani government, although most would like very much to see these laws repealed. Part of the problem is that the blasphemy laws are often mis-used by Muslims to ‘get even’ with anyone they see as having offended them. The head of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Zora Yusuf is quoted as saying: “It has been exploited by individuals to settle personal scores, to grab land, to violate the rights of non-Muslims, to basically harass them”.

The laws originated in India in 1860, were expanded in 1927, and eventually carried over into Pakistan Law when the country was first formed in 1947. Since that time these laws have been a bone of contention. They were expanded in 1980, 1982, 1984 and 1986, each time getting more discriminatory, with harsher sentences for the most minor infractions of the so-called ‘Muslim Code’. In certain parts of Pakistan, as a Christian you are better staying at least one hundred yards away from any Muslim or copy of the Koran, and keeping your mouth tightly closed. But all this is not the subject of this post.

Killed For Being A Christian?

To put it bluntly, if you ask any Muslim what Allah stands for, they will tell you that he is a peaceful God of mercy. So now comes the big question. If that is a righteous description of Allah and what he stands for, why are most Muslims so full of hate for anyone who is not a Muslim? Why do they demand that a mentally disabled girl of eleven be arrested and tried for carrying a bag full of waste that may or may not have contained a page or two of the Koran? Why are non-Muslims hung from street lamps, stoned to death, or spend the rest of their lives in a prison cell on some trumped up charge? Why are Christians for example vilified and killed all over the world just because they are not Muslims? Questions, questions, but never any satisfactory answers.

Do they think that this is what their wise, peaceful, and merciful Allah wants? Because I have to admit, it certainly doesn’t sound like it to me. Non-Muslims live in perpetual fear in countries with a large Muslim population, and many have been killed in his name.

Typical Muslims Who Follow the Teachings of Allah?

So what does this all mean? Is it that the Muslim perception of Allah is wrong and that he is in fact a merciless God who wants control of the world at any price? This I doubt. Could it be that there are evil men who profess to be Allah’s messengers (you know who I mean), who delight in seeing such destruction and death because it makes them feel powerful? Control over a blind, mindless mob is still power! I think this comes closer to the truth. How could bin Laden have said he is doing the work of Allah on 9/11 if his God is wise, merciful and peaceful?

I would be more than happy to hear the real truth behind Islam if any Muslim cares to comment. I am also sure there are many millions of non-Muslims who would too! May the peace of Allah be upon you.

A Question of Honour? – The Killing of Shafilea

Posted in Arab, Britain, Child Abuse, England, Human Rights, Justice, Muslim, Parenting, Religion, Sharia Law, Teens with tags , on 04/08/2012 by floroy1942

In your family does the ‘honour’ of the family rate above the life of one your children? No of course not, I would be surprised if it did. But strange though it may seem, in some cultures it is like that. This last week in Britain, Pakistani couple Iftikhar and Farzana Ahmed were jailed for a minimum of 25 years for killing their own daughter because she was ‘too westernized’ and thereby brought dishonour to the family name.

Shafilea

Their daughter Shafilea was a bright, ambitious seventeen-year-old who dreamed of being a lawyer, but she had one fatal flaw, she enjoyed the western way of life in a culture she had grown up in since birth. This was in direct contradiction to the strict Muslim upbringing forced on her by her parents. Shafilea liked to dress up in western clothes, buy things for herself and have boyfriends, but this is not the Muslim way. In the words of Justice Roderick Evans, at Chester Crown Court who passed sentence: “She [Shafilea] was being squeezed between two cultures, the culture and way of life that she saw around her and wanted to embrace, and the culture and way of life you (the parents) wanted to impose upon her; an expectation that she live in a sealed cultural environment separate from the culture of the country in which she lived was unrealistic, destructive and cruel.” He added, “Your concern about being shamed in your community was greater than your love of your child.”

Iftikhar and Farzana Ahmed had always told Shafilea she would be married off to a stranger in Pakistan in a so-called ‘arranged marriage’ but in early 2003 she rebelled and fled the family home. Her freedom did not last long for she was captured, drugged, and taken to rural Punjab in Pakistan where she was to be married to a man ten years her senior. In a desperate attempt to forestall the arrangement, she drank a quantity of bleach and became very ill. Her throat was very badly damaged and the ‘suitor’ declined to marry her. After this she was immediately shipped back to the UK and her parents, who locked her in her room, beating and starving her into submission.

Family Honour Was Worth More Than Their daughter

On October 11th 2003 Farzana Ahmad picked up her daughter from school and saw her in clothes she considered indecent. In her opinion, Shafilea had brought shame on the family and once home she was killed in front of her brother and sisters. This presumably as a lesson to their other offspring. In court the two were found guilty of ramming a plastic bag in her mouth and covering her nose until she choked to death. They then dumped her body beside the River Kent in Cumbria, England, in February 2004.

Iftikhar Ahmed arrived in the UK at the age of ten and was therefore fully aware of western culture and habits. He was previously married to a Danish woman and was known to ‘socialize’ while living in Denmark, however, he married his current wife, Farzana in 1985 in Pakistan.

Alisha Ahmed

In the years that followed, Iftikhar and Farzana Ahmed strenuously denied having killed her, claiming she had run away. It was not until August 2010 that Alisha, the younger sister of Shafilea was arrested by the police on charges of organizing a robbery at her parents home that the truth came out. She told police what had happened that evening in 2003 for she and her brother and sisters had been made to watch the entire spectacle.

Justice Roderick Evans summed it up by saying:  “and a truly horrifying feature is that you killed Shafilea in the presence of your other four children”. He added, “you also made your surviving children put forward an account which was intended to hide what you did”.

A truly despicable crime, but not uncommon in the Muslim enclaves of rural Pakistan, and in fact the rest of the Muslim world. In 2011 there were 943 deaths among women associated with ‘honour’ killings in Pakistan alone, and 2010 saw a 47% rise in honour related crimes in the UK, although not necessarily ending in murder, a with a total  of 2283 registered.

Muslim Justice

This tradition, if you can call it that, goes way back in Muslim history and stems from the fact that the Muslim male is paramount in Muslim society. Women are nothing more than a means to produce more Muslim men, and girls are only tolerated because they are needed to father the next generation of men. For this reason they rank very low in Muslim society, and are nothing more than chattels that must be covered from head to toe and be subservient to men at all times. Any act, by any Muslim woman that goes against this code is deemed to have ‘stained’ the ‘family honour’, and the only way for the family to regain that ‘honour’ is to remove the stain, permanently. This ‘stain’ can be as little as a young girl talking to a boy or even wearing the wrong clothes.

Personally, I find it despicable that such a thing is still allowed in this century and would urge all governments to make an example of parents guilty of such crimes, as has just happened in England. It is time to stamp out this hideous crime, and if necessary, force all those who condone such acts to outlaw them completely. It must start with Muslim clerics who approve, and often encourage such acts, to start telling their people that it is wrong. Governments can only do so much, but they should do what they can.

Which Side Is Pakistan On In The Fight Against Terrorism?

Posted in Afghanistan, Al Quada, America, Britain, England, Obama, Taliban, Terrorism, UK, USA with tags , , , on 24/05/2012 by floroy1942

For years Pakistan has said it is against al Quada and the Taliban, and ‘aided’ the US and NATO nations in their joint assault on these terrorist groups, but there has continually been a suspicion of doubt as to which side they are really on. I think we now have the answer!

Dr. Shakil Afridi – Traitor or Patriot?

It has been reported that the Pakistani doctor who helped find bin Laden has received a 33 year prison sentence and fine of $3,500 for treason! That to me says it all! For the good doctor to assist the CIA in finding the most hated terrorist of all time would not in my book be treason, but calls for a medal. The Pakistan government however obviously thinks differently, which must mean to my mind, that their loyalty to the western cause of defeating terrorism is somewhat lacking. The latest reports indicate there is concern that several people who assisted the Navy S.E.A.L.s in their operation have also been arrested.

There are many unanswered questions surrounding bin Laden’s ability to live successfully for years within a stone’s throw of a Pakistani military facility and remain untouched and unseen. Under normal circumstances this would seem impossible.

Bin Laden’s Hideout

The American’s did not inform the Pakistani government of its intention to send in S.E.A.L.S to get him, for the simple reason they suspected someone, particularly in the intelligence community, would tell the al Quada chief of the impending raid. After all that’s happened, I am pretty sure that if the government had been told, the bird would have long flown by the time they came knocking at his door.

In this particular case I am in full agreement with President Obama and his military chiefs, in that it was a chance too good to miss and certainly worth the political fallout afterwards.

World’s Most Wanted Terrorist

I have to admit to considerable scepticism on Pakistan’s commitment to the fight against terrorism, especially since they called off the military campaign against the Taliban strongholds in the North-Western Provinces a couple of years ago before it was completed. Stopping the cleansing operation when only half completed was I believe a sop to the USA and other NATO countries, but was not done with any real intent of wiping out the al Quada and Taliban bases on their side of the border.

It cannot be denied the Pakistan government has had to deal with a long list of cock-ups perpetrated by the American Military, such as the killing of 24 Pakistani soldiers at a border outpost during a drone strike and the killing of innocent civilians by the same method, but to be honest, that is all water under the bridge, for now we have more evidence of the reluctance among government circles to come to grips in a positive way with terrorism.

However, to me the last straw must surely be the sentence handed down to Shakil Afridi, the Pakistani doctor at the heart of the story. He did what he thought was right, and probably for an extremely large cash payout from the CIA, and it lands him in jail for the rest of his life. No matter the motive, the fact that he was of help in handing over bin Laden should earn him the gratitude of the whole world in my view.

Is A New Nuclear Arms Race Likely?

Posted in Al Quada, America, Britain, Europe, Iran, Israel, Nuclear Proliferation, UK, USA with tags , , , on 22/04/2012 by floroy1942

I fear the answer to this question is irrevocably: Yes! With India’s testing last week of a missile capable of reaching China, and North Korea’s abortive attempt, the possibility of such a thing is increasing. Despite its pleas to the contrary, Iran’s attempts at developing nuclear weapons could lead to other Middle East nations feeling the need to also possess such weapons. So all the cards are falling into place.

We now have a total of eight nations with nuclear capability, plus Israel that is considered by most experts to have such weapons. Only five of these nations have either signed or ratified the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) while three have not, with Israel remaining “Undeclared”.

Country Warheads active/total Year of first test CTBT status
The five nuclear-weapon states under the NPT
United States 1,950 / 8,500 1945 (“Trinity”) Signatory
Russia (former Soviet Union) 2,430 / 10,000 1949 (“RDS-1”) Ratifier
United Kingdom 160 / 225 1952 (“Hurricane”) Ratifier
France 290 / 300 1960 (“Gerboise Blue”) Ratifier
China 180 / 240 1964 (“596”) Signatory
Non-NPT nuclear powers
India n.a. / 80–100 1974 (“Smiling Buddha”) Non-signatory
Pakistan n.a. / 90–110 1998 (“Chaqai-1”) Non-signatory
North Korea n.a. / <10 2006 (2006 Test) Non-signatory
Undeclared nuclear powers
Israel n.a. / 80–200 possibly 1979 (See Vela Incident) Signatory

There can be little doubt about Iran’s ambition to join this exclusive club, but if it does, it’s doubtful it would be willing to sign up to the NPT, but would join India, Pakistan and North Korea as non-signatories. Even Burma, which is ruled by the military, has been rumoured ever since 2002 of wishing to develop a nuclear capability and is said to have obtained help from North Korea. According to defectors, bunkers are being built with the help of the North Koreans. The military junta wishes to cement its hold on power in the country with the nuclear threat.

India's Recent Missile Test

Most of the non-signatory nations have natural enemies, India versus Pakistan, North Korea versus South Korea and eventually we could see Iran versus Israel, any of which could become a flashpoint. That ‘rogue’ states like North Korea and Iran would not hesitate to use these weapons at the slightest provocation is without doubt a disturbing factor.

As you would expect, the major nations balance their possession of these weapons with caution and use them as a deterrent only, but fanatics do not care if their country is devastated in pursuance of their ideals. This is certainly a dangerous precedent and adds a precarious element to the nuclear equation.

Nuclear proliferation is most at risk in the Middle East, for if Iran does develop these weapons, it is fairly certain countries like Saudi Arabia, and possibly Jordan, Syria and others will find it necessary to have their own as  deterrent against Iranian aggression. Iran, as the only nuclear power in the region will certainly be ‘top dog’, and in true human fashion will begin to flex its muscles in an effort to dominate other nations.

North Korea's Missile Did Not Get Very Far

North Korea will need little provocation from either the South or the United States to begin lobbing weapons into South Korea. Border clashes between the two are in fact a regular occurrence. It would not take much for it to escalate into war, in which case, with everything to lose the communist hierarchy in Pyong Yang would not hesitate to fire off nuclear missiles at the South, and if possible the USA, although the latter is doubtful at their current stage of missile development.

The world has become a less dangerous place since the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the ‘Cold War’, but sad to say, we may possibly be heading for another arms race in other parts of the world. India and Pakistan seem to have stockpiled enough, and appear content with the status quo even with the Kashmir problem between them unsolved, but North Korea is only just beginning to start the process. In five years time, when perhaps Iran also has nuclear weapons, she too will begin stockpiling and build up an arsenal of weapons and missiles.

They Must Think We Are Naive

Another dark side to nuclear weapons proliferation is terrorism. With countries like North Korea and Iran developing nuclear bombs, it makes it easier for terror organizations to get their hands on them. A nation like Iran may well secretly provide groups like al Quada with small nuclear devices, if the target is either Israel or America, in a covert operation to get at their sworn enemies while appearing innocent. Nuclear bombs that fit into a small suitcase were developed in Russia many decades ago, and even such a small device would create havoc in say, Tel Aviv or New York.

In my opinion, the greatest danger from Iran and North Korea obtaining nuclear capability may well be the terrorism factor. There are a significant number of nations in the world, in particular the arab world, who would love to see a nuclear device exploded in New York, Washington, London, Paris or Berlin which would make 9/11 seem like child’s play by comparison.  There can be no doubt that such an act would throw the world into turmoil, the likes of which has never before been seen in our history.

"Sleep, Perchance to Dream....."

One can only hope that the hotheads in these countries never get to be in the majority, and that all nations of the world  come together and do what needs to be done to remove these threats as soon as possible. In the meantime, rest easy in your bed tonight for it is not likely to happen for some yet!

The Pakistan/Taliban Farce – What Now?

Posted in Afghanistan, Britain, Nuclear Weapons, Sharia Law, Taliban, UK, USA with tags , , on 22/01/2012 by floroy1942

It seems the Taliban have upped their game in the ongoing struggle with the Pakistan Military. They have released a video to all and sundry in the border regions showing the cold-blooded execution of fifteen soldiers, saying it is retaliation for the insurgents killed at the hands of the military. The Taliban spokesman in the video said: “Twelve of our comrades were besieged and mercilessly martyred in the Khyber Agency (area), our pious women were also targeted. To avenge those comrades, we will kill these men. We warn the government of Pakistan that if the killing of our friends is not halted, this will be the fate of you all.”

The Taliban Are No Strangers To Execution

The Taliban had blindfolded their prisoners and handcuffed them to each other so as one was shot, the next was dragged down. One by one they were shot in the back of the head with a burst of AK47 fire by various Taliban fighters. The entire video shows the executions in dramatic detail, obviously intended to have maximum effect on those watching. The Taliban hope in this way to dissuade the Pakistan Army, one of the largest in the world,  from any more attacks on them in the border areas. It is of course directed at all members of the Pakistani Army who have been ‘fighting’, rather unsuccessfully, to rid their country of the cross-border invaders and their followers in the border areas.

Pakistan's Tribal Areas

The military have made many attempts to dislodge the Taliban and other militant groups from the so-called ‘Tribal Areas’ in the mountainous region along the border with Afghanistan, all have failed dismally. The reasons for this may be many. Chief among them is the terrain which is a nightmare for any army. Even the Russians could not rid themselves of the Afghan Mujahideen, as they were then known, during their abortive invasion of Afghanistan in 1979. They fought on for nine years and finally gave up in 1988 with an ignominious retreat. The Taliban are men made of the same stuff as the Mujahideen.

Offensive By Pakistan Army

Second, and just as important I believe, is a significant lack of commitment. The reason for this statement is the half-hearted backing they gave to a joint Pakistan/NATO sweep of the border area in 2009. When NATO troops began their offensive, it was anticipated, correctly, that as usual the Taliban would retire to the Pakistan side of the border. NATO troops started clearing out the Taliban strongholds on the Afghan side while a simultaneous assault was supposed to take place by Pakistani forces on their side. The end result was that after significant gains the Pakistani forces stopped the assault with the job less than half done, which in effect meant the whole campaign was for nothing. If they had completed the job as intended, it would have left the Taliban with nowhere left to hide.

At the time the insurgents had made major gains in the border area which was in effect controlled by them totally. America, and in fact all the NATO Allies, were afraid they would end up in charge of the whole country, and more importantly, its nuclear arsenal would fall into their hands.

Taliban Fighters

Since 2009, all the various rebel groups have joined together to form the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP, and the government entered into peace talks with them some time ago, but these have stalled.

This latest atrocity, intended to strike fear into the army may well work, but a senior officer, Majeed Marwat, a commander of the Frontier Corps said that “moral among the frontier forces would remain high” adding, “our soldiers enlist because they want to sacrifice for the country. We are taking care of the families of the martyred soldiers,” Personally, I doubt if the rank and file will agree with him.

Afghan/ Pakistan Border Area

Whichever way it goes from now on, it seems to me that the only way for Pakistan to rid itself of the threat posed by the insurgents is to smash them once and for all. Peace talks will not work with these fanatics who have openly stated they wish to turn Pakistan into a Muslim state complete with Sharia Law (where have I heard that before?). The entire country is a powder keg with the ever present possibility of an eventual Taliban victory, and the unprecedented threat of nuclear weapons in the hands of radicals.

Taliban Winning The Propaganda War!

Posted in Afghanistan, Al Quada, Arab, Britain, Europe, Gaza and Hamas, Insurgents, Islamic Revolution, Muslim, Religion, Taliban, Terrorism, UK, USA with tags , , , , , , , on 01/06/2011 by floroy1942

Once again the NATO Coalition forces have played into the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan by killing civilians during an air strike. This time it was reportedly 12 children and two women who were killed in a night strike against Taliban fighters who had just killed an American serviceman.

Apache Attack

From the news reports, it seems that after the attack the Taliban insurgents took cover in a compound knowing civilians were present, a long practiced tactic, and the result was inevitable.

They knew full well their greatest propaganda weapon is the killing of innocent people by coalition forces, and they used it to great affect.

President Karzei Warns The US

President Karzei has now told the US that this will be their “last warning” and they must stop these attacks at once. From his point of view it is a reasonable request, as such killings create unrest among the population, and generate hatred for the occupation forces who are placed in an impossible situation.

Aljazeera Report On The Latest Deaths:

http://youtu.be/GqD4zuhJm0w

The insurgents have used this tactic throughout the campaign, for they know they cannot win the war militarily, but by ensuring the US and NATO  Forces always get the blame for such incidents they are using propaganda as a viable weapon. They care not that these civilians are killed, for it serves their purpose to always have the Coalition on the back foot.

Bottom Left - Taliban Human Shields

Insurgents like the Taliban, al Quada, and even Hamas in Palestine, soon discovered how to make use of human shields and generate the condemnation that falls on opposing forces when such an incident happens. It turns the people, and the western media, into a potent weapon they can exploit to the fullest.

Taliban Human Shields:

It is a dirty way to fight a campaign but is symptomatic of our times when human life, especially that of innocents, counts for nothing.

I said in previous posts in 2009 that much of the fault lies with Pakistan insofar as they allowed the Taliban to use their territory as a bolthole from the NATO Forces in Afghanistan.

Taliban Country

The big problem was, once they finally started the push against the insurgents in the nortwest provinces in 2009 they never finished the job, leaving it only half completed. As I said at the time, they should have kept on going until they met up with the NATO Forces at the border. It was a half-hearted attempt to squeeze the Taliban but the pincers never closed.

Now, belatedly, the Pakistan Forces are again striking at Taliban strongholds in the territories with an air attack on positions in the Orakzai area in which 17 insurgents were reported killed.

Pakistan Army In Action 2009

A local newspaper claims the military is once again planning an attack against the insurgents in North Waziristan province. This has long been a place of sanctuary for them when wishing to escape NATO Forces in Afghanistan. It is a proven fact, that for both the Taliban and al Quada, the tribal areas are a safe haven from attack because the NATO Forces cannot cross the border, and the Pakistani Forces seem little inclined to stop them from their side.

Strategically speaking, the only sensible way of solving the insurgent problem is a concerted attack by the NATO and Pakistani Forces from both sides of the border. The entire northwestern provinces should be cleared until all Taliban and al Quada fighters have been killed or captured. Only then will both countries enjoy any form of peace, and without doubt, the world will be able to sleep peacefully once again.

bin Laden – When You Find A Rat, You Shoot It!

Posted in Afghanistan, Al Quada, Arab, Insurgents, Islamic Revolution, Muslim, Terrorism, Terrorists, USA with tags , , on 04/05/2011 by floroy1942

Much is currently being written about the number one topic of the moment, i.e. the death of Osama bin Laden, so I guess I might as well add my ten cents worth.

Yesterday, within hours the news flashed around the world that the most wanted man in history, Osama bin Laden, had finally been killed in a compound in Pakistan where he had been hiding. The report has caused controversy among both western and arab nations as the details are slowly made public.

A Less Gory Image Of bin Laden Dead

Todays newspapers are criticising the fact that bin Laden was unarmed and could have been taken prisoner, but was shot dead instead. In my opinion, if you find a rat you shoot it immediately, for why should such an evil man be given mercy?

Osama bin Laden may have been a source of information like no other, but the down-side of keeping him alive would be to invite attempts to free him by his co-conspirators, plus igniting the fury of Muslims across the globe. The plain fact is, the world is better off with him dead!

CBS Report: http://youtu.be/X96LXweqaYE

That he was buried at sea will at least prevent creating a martyr for his followers, and a shrine at which he could be worshipped. In my opinion, that fact alone will ensure the memory of bin Laden does not endure long in most people’s minds, even Muslims. Pretty soon he will be consigned to a footnote in history.

There is little doubt this whole episode is far from over however, for there are bound to be recriminations over the American action, and for sure, revenge attacks in the near future.

Part of Osama's Legacy - Madrid 2004

The big question is, who will be the target of these attacks? It is certain that great efforts will be made to make some form of attack on the United States, and of course Pakistan. European nations may also find themselves on the receiving end of insurgent wrath and its anyone’s guess as to what form the attacks will take. It seems highly unlikely that we will see a repeat of 9/11, for that required meticulous planning and much time to prepare, so it is more likely we could have a spate of un-coordinated bombings.

There can be no doubt the death of bin Laden will be a heavy blow to al Quada, but there are many who can step into his shoes. His death may also provide the catalyst for recruitment by terror groups through radical Imams, who will use this event to fog the minds of young Muslims and fill them with hatred for anything western. The sight of many Muslims openly mourning his passing is ample evidence of this.

National  Geographic Report on al Quada: http://youtu.be/zUUUS_wRKLo

Much is being written about the possible involvement of Pakistani officials and intelligence personnel in hiding the fact he was present in Abbottabad for so many years. It would seem incredible that no-one in Pakistan knew of his whereabouts, but this will be impossible to prove. I can agree with the American decision not to inform Pakistani authorities of the raid, for to do so could well have meant he would slip the net.

Salman Bashir, a Pakistani official, claimed that their intelligence network had informed the Americans about the “suspicious” compound as early as 2009 but for some reason the report was not acted upon. I imagine this, and many other reports will be clarified in the weeks to come.

Osama's Hideaway

As to his hiding place being within a few hundred yards of the top military academy, they always say ‘the best place to hide is in plain sight’. The one thing that did surprise me was the lack of armed men at the villa where he was hiding. But it would seem he has been there for so many years without any problems he got complacent. We can just be thankful that it was all so easy and no-one in the assault force was hurt.

Now, all we can do is wait for the backlash of this action, but wouldn’t it be nice if within a few short weeks we could rid the world of Osama’s second-in command Ayman al-Zawahiri, who will surely move to the top of the ‘Most Wanted List’. The only problem with an organization like al Quada is that if you ‘chop of the head of the snake’, it just grows another. For this reason, the fight against this terror group is far from over, and may never be.
