How Can You Ever Trust A Politician?

Ed Milliband - You Believe Me Don't You?

Ed Milliband – You Believe Me Don’t You?

In all my years I have never heard such a ridiculous bunch of bullshit as that being spouted by the current Labour leader Ed Milliband. Only a fool will ever trust the promises of a politician when they are trying to get elected, and none more so than this idiot. He is asking the British electorate for ten years in power to “reverse the damage done by the Conservatives“, during which he will build “a world class Britain”! …Really?

I find it quite fascinating that Labour are consistently blaming the Tories for the utter mess the country is in, and posting themselves as the ‘lily-white’ saviours. They must think the electorate are either stupid or have very short memories.

Headline From 2003

Headline From 2003

We have reached the stage where the people are taxed to the hilt, the NHS and benefits systems are on the point of collapsing, there is not enough housing for everyone, and the economy is falling apart. After all the damage the previous Labour government did to this once great nation I find it incredible that anyone would ever trust them again.

All of the problems this country is suffering can be traced directly back to Tony Blair and his Labour government throwing the doors wide open to millions of immigrants from wherever in the world who wanted to come to Britain. Not only that, but he gave them free access to the NHS, Benefits and housing, prioritizing them over people born and bred here! As you would expect, this all cost money so what did Labour do? They borrowed it and put the country deep in debt! So much for Blair’s ‘Multi-Cultural Britain’.

How Milliband has the nerve to stand up in public and deliver this following extraction from his speech defy’s the imagination:

You see. According to Ed Milliband this is all the fault of the Conservatives!

He now promises a ten-year plan to build “a World Class Britain with no extra money” and believe it or not, there will be idiots who believe him and vote Labour at the next election!

NHS - Going? Going?... Gone?

NHS – Going? Going?… Gone?

He ‘pledges’ a spending boost for the NHS without a mention of where the money will come from, he also ‘pledges’ to help young people get on the housing ladder by building 200,000 more homes. He says, “So many people have lost faith in the future. I’ve met young people who should have the brightest of futures who tell me their generation is falling into a black hole.” This is very true, but the fact that young people cannot get jobs is because Labour sabotaged the education system and the jobs market is flooded with immigrants who work for less money.

Among his other promises are “to halve the number of low-paid workers and to create a million new “green” technology jobs”. Again, he does not say how he will do this! He also says, “For Labour, this election is about you. You have made the sacrifices. You have taken home lower wages year after year. You have paid higher taxes. You have seen your energy bills rise. You have seen your NHS decline. You know this country doesn’t work for you. We can build that better future for you and your family, wherever you live in the United Kingdom, and this speech is about Labour’s plan to do it: Labour’s plan for Britain’s future.”

The one thing he does not say is HOW!

Diane Abbot - She said It!

Diane Abbot – She said It!

In my view, Labour did so much damage to the country that it may never get back to what it was, and don’t forget that many Labour M.P’s have said publicly that mass immigration should, and will continue under a Labour government. I don’t know about you, but the idea of that happening scares the pants off me, for it will surely spell the death knell for our country.

Harriet Harman - She Said It!

Harriet Harman – She Said It!

Yesterday, Ed Balls the Shadow Chancellor said that Labour would not borrow money to fund spending commitments. Let me tell you now that will never happen. Why? Because Labour have never done that in all their years of existence despite promises it made in the past, and more importantly, there just isn’t enough money in the bank! In their long history Labour have always promised what people want to hear, but seldom delivered. Remember the days of ‘Boom and Bust’?

Grant Schapps

Grant Schapps

So what do the Conservatives think of all this? Well, in the words of  Conservative Party chairman Grant Shapps : “Ed Miliband forgets that he was at the heart of a Labour government which had three terms, 13 years – and left Britain on its knees at the end of it. A vote for Labour is a vote to put the recovery at risk, jobs at risk and the long-term future of our country at risk.” I must say I couldn’t have put it better myself!

Which One Do You Trust?

Which One Do You Trust?

As you well know, Ed Milliband agreed with the Government to allow extra powers for Scotland during the referendum crisis (for that is what it was), and also to the giving of extra powers to Wales, Northern Island and various major cities around the country. Now in his speech he says: “Our task is to restore people’s faith in the future. But the way to do it is not to break up our country (?). It is to break with the old way of doing things, break with the past.” Now to me that sounds like a direct contradiction to what he agreed with the government!

Whichever way it goes at the election, the people of Britain will not be the winners, for among the existing three parties I do not believe any of them are capable of properly repairing the massive damage Tony Blair and Labour did with their Multi-Cultural Britain Plan. I just hope the electorate really think hard before they cast their votes at the General Election.

The Anti-Smoking Hype Raises Its Ugly Head Again

Posted in America, Britain, Diabetes, Europe, Health, Obesity, Overweight, UK, USA with tags , , , on 15/04/2012 by floroy1942

From a news report it seems the British government is once more on the warpath against smokers. The latest in a long line of attacks against people smoking comes with the possible introduction of plain packaging for cigarettes. As if that will make a difference!

Lansley – Sorry! You Are Nuts!

It seems the Health Secretary Andrew Lansley is of the opinion that cigarette manufacturers are extremely clever by choosing special colours for the packets to ‘entice you to buy’. In his words, the tobacco companies use certain colours to trigger memories and their brands constitute a type of advertising. The man talks a load of twaddle!

Smoking Children – An Every Day Sight

They have already tried health warnings and graphic pictures on cigarette packets, but did it help – No! They removed cigarette advertising – did it help – No! They removed cigarette vending machines, did it help – No! They have raised taxes many times on cigarettes and did it help – No! They banned smoking in public buildings and enclosed spaces but did it help – No! They raised the legal age at which cigarettes can be bought, did it stop our youth and children from ‘lighting up’ – Not on yer life! So to be honest, I fail to see why so much public money needs to be spent on a such a cockamamie idea, for it too will fail. The only up side to such a move, at least for the criminal element, will be to make it easier to sell counterfeit cigarettes. According to Jane Chisholm-Caunt, secretary-general of the TMA, said: “There is no reliable evidence plain packaging will reduce rates of youth smoking”, i.e. just like all the previous measures taken.

Cranes In Hospitals Soon To Be The Norm?

All the hype gushing forth from critics is about the current ‘strain’ on the NHS of treating smoking related diseases, for it is estimated that 100,000 deaths a year are caused by smoking, but I have news for these idiots, more people are dying and/or getting treatment for sickness related to obesity and being overweight than smoking, but that is never mentioned. Already obesity is causing almost half-a-million premature deaths in Europe, and Britain is the obese capital. In a few years time smoking related deaths will be looked upon as the good old times by the NHS as their wards fill up with people suffering from diabetes, heart conditions and blocked arteries as a result of not taking proper care of themselves or their children.

You Can Get Life Threateningly Fat – But You Can’t Smoke!

Considering that at the present time an estimated 1 in 2 of the British adult population are either overweight or obese, we have but seen the tip of the iceberg. So in about ten years time when all these people are dropping like flies what will governments do, start banning food in public places and putting graphic health warnings on packets of sausages? The mind boggles! It all comes down to one simple truth; smokers are an easy target and research is biased and/or not objective enough!

For example, the medical profession does not seem overly worried about all the airborne chemicals we breath on a daily basis from industry, cars and trucks, something that we all suffer from every day of our lives, especially in the towns and cities. Perhaps scientists’ time would be better employed making a comparison between cancer deaths etc. in cities as opposed to deaths in the countryside away from these pollutants. The different rates etc. may well surprise them.

You’ll Notice The Guy Is Wearing A Chem. Suit!

Another important factor is the amount of unnatural chemicals we throw down our throats every time we eat something. As the natural growing potential of  the soil has decreased over the years through ever-increasing production quotas, farmers have been adding more and more chemicals to the soil so they can continue to grow crops essential for the food chain, not to mention the ever increasing amounts of insecticide sprayed on crops. We, innocent as we are, enjoy our breakfast cereal and chemically enhanced meat, followed perhaps by an apple containing traces of an unknown insecticide. In my opinion this is doing us more harm than smoking the pure tobacco leaf which is a natural product, but few seem to make the connection.

Speaks For Itself

Governments worldwide can take whatever measures they like, but if people want to smoke they will, and should have the right to do so if they wish, providing of course they do not inconvenience others. Doctor’s have been jumping on the bandwagon for years and everything from warts to an ingrowing toenail is caused by smoking. Cut your finger and go to the doctor and the first thing they ask is ‘Do you smoke?” Bullshit!

We as a species have been smoking tobacco for more than six centuries, and while I fully agree that modern cigarettes are not good for the health in general, I think people should have free choice just like those who drink alcohol.

Some Of Many Additives

If governments want to take action it should be directed in a different direction i.e. at the chemical crap that tobacco manufacturers put in cigarettes these days. I believe the additives are far more dangerous than the basic tobacco leaf.

Chemical Additives

In 1994 the American government ordered cigarette manufacturers to provide a list of chemicals they add to cigarettes, and you will be amazed to hear that the list contained 599 different compounds. Research has also shown that cigarette smoke has 30 different chemicals. So what are the manufacturers doing to us? Well, one example is they add chemicals to make sure the cigarette will continue to burn even when placed in an ashtray. You will notice the difference if you smoke rolling tobacco, for when you put them down they go out. When you think about it, its a clever move. If you place a freshly lit cigarette in the ashtray and forget about it, when you come back you will light up another. Two for the price of one so to speak, and more money for them! Manufacturers have also been accused of adding compounds that increase addiction to nicotine.

Drying Tobacco Leaves

Considering the number of centuries that tobacco smoking has been around, I believe governments can better put pressure on the tobacco industry to ban these chemical additives completely, for in my opinion, its not so much the tobacco that causes all the problems, but more the chemical cocktail these unscrupulous companies add to it.

If the world’s governments wish to make war on tobacco let them at least aim their ammunition in the right direction.

The NHS – National Hospital Shambles

Posted in Britain, Budget Cuts, Conservative Party, David Cameron, England, Government, Government Spending, Health, Immigrants, Insanity, Liberal Party, Nick Clegg, UK with tags , , , , , , , , on 17/06/2011 by floroy1942

Says It All!

The British National Health Service (NHS) is without doubt the most disgusting, inefficient and money wasting enterprise in the UK. It is in too many areas badly managed, badly staffed and badly equipped for the times. In an ideal situation the whole edifice would be torn down and reorganized from the top down. Unfortunately, this is not possible.

There are of course good hospitals, and there are good doctors and nurses who do their best to provide care, comfort and relief, and by no means do I wish to belittle these people’s efforts, but the system is so broken their actions go mostly unnoticed.

The Numbers Don’t Lie!

We have tens of thousands of patients who go for treatment only to catch deadly diseases (MRSA) while in the hospital, more than two thousand of whom die (See graph). There are never enough nursing staff, and many of those that are there can barely speak english. Patients in pain, or who even just need a bedpan for example are ignored, and when a patient requests help staff are often rude.

Patients are left unattended for hours on end sometimes resulting in deaths. Mistakes are made during operations, equipment doesn’t work or is incorrectly calibrated, and as for dirt, its everywhere. Cleaning staff are among the most inefficient in the entire enterprise. The list goes on and on and no-one, not even the politicians, seems capable of fixing it.

Cameron Flogging A Dead Horse

David Cameron has been laying forth his plan for the NHS this last week but it will not fix any of the problems. When it comes to finding a cure for what ails our health serevice all governments (from both sides of the house) can come up with is; Let’s privatize!

Cameron on NHS reforms:

In the old days (Oh no, here he goes again) they didn’t have all the fancy instruments and machines they have today, they didn’t even have the level of knowledge, but patients didn’t die from hospital borne diseases, a nurse was always there when you needed one and the wards, operating theaters etc were so clean you could eat off the floor. Why was this? What has changed the system so drastically?

Matron And Her Charges

Well, for a start, if you were a nurse it was like being in the military because the old style Matron was ‘The General’! If she said “Jump” a nurse asked “How high”! In those days Matrons ruled their entire ward with a rod of iron, and woe betide any cleaner who missed a spot or a nurse who didn’t answer a patients call within 30 seconds. Mind you, they knew how to get troublesome patients back in line too so it wasn’t all rosy.

Sadly, these cornerstones on which the NHS rested were done away with when in 1967 the Salmon Report, which initiated restructuring of the NHS, was put into practice.

So what prompted this rant about the NHS? Well, I have to say it was a report I read in the news about a young mother and her baby who died in hospital due to neglect by the staff.

Queen’s Hospital Romford

The hospital in question is Queens Hospital in Romford east London. The young mother, Tebussem Ali (known as Serena) died in the maternity unit when staff failed to recognise she had a ruptured womb. When she complained to nurses about great pain, staff were rude and sarcastic to her, telling her to “stop being a drama queen” and to stop “behaving like a child”.

Serena And Her Husband Shortly Before She Died

Once it was discovered by medics she had a serious problem they could not find her notes. Resuscitation was attempted with an oxygen mask that was not even connected to a supply and it was Serena’a husband, Usman Javed, who noticed the error, but by then it was too late.

Of course the hospital issued the standard apology with the usual promises  (probably pre-printed) to improve the situation and now expect business as usual and the whole mess to go away, but it shouldn’t be allowed to just “Go Away”. Those to blame  should be fired, and others should have severe disciplinary action taken against them for the death of this young woman and her baby. It just isn’t good enough to say “Oh! We’re sorry” and everything gets flushed down the toilet. A young woman and her child are dead!

Saira And Daughter – A Close Call For Mother And Child At Queens

Saira And Daughter – A Close Call For Mother And Child At Queens

In 2010 Saira Chaudhri went to Queen’s maternity ward only to be told she was not in labour. After pleading with staff she was still told to go home but only reached the car park when someone noticed blood on her trousers. She was immediately rushed back in. It seems the machine they had used to measure her contractions had been faulty.

Earlier this year two midwives from the same hospital were ‘suspended’ after the death of a mother and her new born baby. Suspended? Not fired! The hospital administration should have ensured these two people never worked as midwives ever again!

These are just two cases and are far from isolated. This sort of thing  happens every day in our hospitals and sometimes its much worse.

A sample video of hospital errors:

Cleaning By Private Companies

Patients have left hospital, thankful they survived the experience, complaining of filthy wards, dirty beds and patients bed sheets not being changed when required, as well as disgraceful rudeness from nursing staff and many who cannot even speak english.

This language problem is the fault of the previous government who trolled the world, and in particular ex-colonies, for nursing staff to fill the yawning gap in NHS needs. Those recruiting these foreign nurses didn’t seem to attach much importance to the candidates being able to speak english. “You have a dodgy qualification as a nurse? Right, here’s your plane ticket!”

The Sharp End

The general situation has gotten so bad with the NHS, that the ‘sticking plaster’ approach of fixing the problems so favoured by politicians, just ain’t gonna work!

Probably the most important answer to these difficulties would be to bring back the Matrons, but sadly, they are all pensioners or have already passed on. I don’t think for one minute there is anyone around at the present time who could match up to the Matrons of old.

Looks Complicated Doesn’t It

But one essential move that could be made by Cameron and his crew is to get rid of all these bloody managers that infest the system  like a cancer (waste). Secondly, privatisation in all its forms should be done away with, especially in regard to hospital cleaning services (cleanliness). Thirdly, mandatory language training must begin for all foreign nationals working in the NHS (communication), and lastly, we need to start training our own people, doctors and nurses, to be the next generation of hospital staff (staff levels).

To me these actions will help solve many of our most pressing problems in the NHS, and I can’t see for the life of me why our stupid politicians cannot see it too.

For example, if you need an administrator, why not recruit from older nursing staff who know the system inside out. Why must it be someone who may be a good manager, but has never worked in a medical environment and therefore does not understand the problems.

Time For A Real Change

Other countries don’t have the problems in the health profession that we do, the only reason we must suffer this chaos is firstly the politicians make a balls-up whenever they get involved, and standards in our health institutions have dropped so low as to have left a hole in floor.

What to do? Find a government that will act responsibly in sorting out the problems by making the correct decisions! Well, its either that or some Whitehall chappie had better shove my post under the P.M’s nose! Huh! Some hopes!

Are You Getting ‘Whiplash’ From Your Insurance Premiums?

Posted in Britain, England, Europe, Modern World, UK with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on 20/05/2011 by floroy1942

I guess none of us should be amazed at the results published in a report by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) which states that Britain is now the ‘whiplash capitol of Europe’. It’s so easy to get some free cash from some insurance company with a whiplash claim if you get ‘rear-ended’ in your car, but in Britain today it has reached epidemic proportions.

Whiplash

From the report, it seems that one in every 140 people in the UK claim this injury each year. In fact, 1,200 claims are made every day against insurers, which makes up three quarters of all personal accident claims in the country in a single year. This puts Britain at the top of the league by a mile!

James Walton, the ABI’s assistant director of motor and liability, said: “Despite the statistics I doubt that the UK has some of the weakest necks in Europe. He added: “It is often difficult to diagnose, easy to fake and exaggerate….whiplash is a fraudster’s dream.”

Part of the problem is the ‘Compensation Culture’ that exists in Britain today. There are professional ‘ambulance chasers’ who will pop up at an accident scene telling you they will assist you in getting compensation. It would not surprise me if they, in some cases, even suggest to the victim he has whiplash!

Why Did That Idiot Brake So Suddenly?

The problem has become so rife that some tricksters deliberately cause themselves to be rear-ended by unsuspecting motorists just to make a claim for whiplash, knowing full well it cannot be disproved medically.

We have sunk so low these days that for some this is a way of life, and they laugh all the way to the bank.

There are dozens of compensation lawyer video’s on Youtube explaining what it feels like and what to do in the event of an accident, but I refuse to give these parasites any publicity so here is a doctor’s video:

http://youtu.be/qotjS9fIewE

Oh Sh*t! I Know The Feeling!

These ‘injuries’ cost the NHS about £8 million a year and the insurance companies around £2 billion, so its not surprising the price of car insurance went up by 40% last year. On top of the false injury claims, the number of people driving without any insurance at all is going through the roof. Obviously, as premiums get higher so do the number of people driving without cover.

When you come down to it, these false claim parasites have a lot to answer for. To them I say, the next time you feel like ‘stiffing’ some insurance company for a few thousand you might remember the harm you are doing to everyone else: But on balance, I think there is more chance of finding a snowball in Hell!

Local Elections In The Land Of The Looneys!

Posted in Benefits, Britain, Demonstration, Elections, England, Extradition, Government, Government Spending, Immigration, Insurgents, Muslim, Parliament, UK with tags , , , , , on 06/05/2011 by floroy1942

Scanning the returns of yesterday’s local elections in the UK, the results amaze me! I have seen time after time that some people are still voting Labour, even after the experiences of their past term in office. It beggars belief, and I can only assume that they were all immigrants who had a free ride under Labour.

Make Or Break Britain?

After Labour opened the doors wide to just about anyone wanting to live off the backs of the British tax payer, and drove the country into a massive debt that will take years to eradicate, it amazes me that some British people want more of the same. It would appear that should a general election be held now, Labour could romp home and form the next government. How mind-boggling is that?

Nick Clegg – On The Way Out?

I can understand some dissatisfaction with the Lib/Dem performance to date, and it was expected there would be a backlash, which was evident from the number of seats they lost in local councils. I guess it’s inevitable there are now calls for the removal of Nick Clegg as party leader which may or may not materialise.

This however does not detract from the huge number of voters who still back Labour. I am well aware that voting Labour in years gone by was an hereditary thing: “My dad always voted Labour and so shall I”, and in many cases it’s a ‘working class’ thing too, but the people of Britain should have learned their lesson by now, but obviously not! It seems some still need to learn that the most important thing to consider when voting is Party policies!

Personally, I am completely non-political and do not back any particular party, but I have to say Labour’s performance leaves much to  be desired. Their immigration policy over the last 13 years has helped to undermine the NHS, Social Services and the Benefits System, and helped cause massive unemployment among British workers, but still dull-minded individuals vote for them.

Their handling of the banking crisis proved to be “too little, too late” which has led to a national debt and unemployment levels never seen before, but still dull-minded people vote for them!

Britain – A Scroungers Paradise

Without doubt, their staunchest allies are the millions of immigrants who receive gifts of money from the benefits system without having to lift a finger, money I might add, that ordinary British people must work hard for. In what other country in the world would an immigrant family get to live in a £2.6million mansion at tax payers expense? You know the answer to that!

It is sad indeed when these foreign spongers have a better standard of living than many of our old folk who have worked hard all their lives. But it would seem that many British people want more of the same!

The job of clearing up the mess left by Labour is not going to be easy, and I for one do not envy David Cameron and Nick Clegg who have been left ‘holding the bag’. There are some difficult choices to be made and those at the top should not be attacked for making them.

Sure, they will make mistakes, but can any one of us do a better job? One thing is certain, if we left it up to Labour and that prat Milliband we would never get ‘out of the woods’, but stroll casual as you please deeper in.

Ed Milliband – More Of The Same?

It is always easy to criticise the government when you are in opposition, but to date Ed Milliband has not come up with a solution to the crisis. In fact every time he is asked how he would proceed he ducks the question!

At this time, the country needs a strong leader who is not afraid to make the difficult choices, even when they hurt everyone’s pocket. We all have to make sacrifices if we are to get the economy back on its feet, and as for the unlimited immigration policy of Labour, the sooner that is ‘nipped in the bud’ the better. Our country cannot afford to sustain this massive influx of migrants any more than another country could. The doors need to be shut firmly for all but a select few who can contribute to the country’s wealth, not drain it!

If You Don’t LIke It Here – Leave!

Another major problem that must be addressed by the Con/Lib government is that of immigrant integration. We should no longer turn a ‘blind eye’ to the Muslim radicals who demonstrate in our streets for Sharia Law and Muslim supremacy. If they cannot respect our culture while practicing their own they should be asked to leave. We must stop ‘kowtowing’ to these people and let them know in no uncertain terms: This is our country, and if you don’t like it – LEAVE!

Another thing the present government is promising is an end the “The Compensation Culture” that has become so rampant these days, for this is surely a national disgrace. When five out of ten adverts are for compensation lawyers the system has to be flawed. The ‘No Win, No Fee” attitude is feeding people’s greed for money like no other, and countless firms and institutions are wrongly being sued for damages by scam artists.

The Parasite’s Bank

Thankfully, we are also being told the benefit cheats are going to feel the hand of the law on their collar, for there are without doubt many thousands who receive disability payments while being able to work. These parasites are draining the national coffers to the tune of many millions a year, and were actually encouraged to do it by the lack of any form of checks or controls during the Labour years.

Benefit Cheat Caught On Camera:

http://youtu.be/HxyL2_38EsQ

But judging by yesterdays voting figures, many unthinking, or uncaring, citizens want more of the same. This attitude defies logic and leaves me ‘gob-smacked’ to say the least!

Crazy! You Couldn’t Make It Up – Series 1 Episode 8

Read the news and there is no end to the quirky items about people and events. The last couple of weeks is no exception as you will see if you read on.

I Lui Take Thee…

The ‘Pet Crazies’ are everywhere, you know the type. They lavish love and affection on their dogs and cats like they are their own children, and spend outrageous amounts of money to provide them with all sorts of costly gifts from diamond-studded collars to ridiculously expensive grooming at bespoke salons. Nothing wrong with that I hear you say, and I agree, because the pet obviously fills a gap in these people’s lives. This story though, topped the lot for strangeness when a Brazilian couple spent £6,000 to get their dogs ‘married‘! The bride Bruna, and the groom Lui apparently barked their vows and set a paw print on the official document. Believe it or not, the ‘bride wore a ‘stunning’ gown costing £270 while the groom was correctly attired in a tuxedo. They even had a special ‘doggy’ cake made with loving care and wolfed down in seconds. The next thing to be planned is a honeymoon for the two love-dogs which is expected to take place in July, because then the bride will be in heat! That should be one helluva honeymoon! Down Boy! Down!!!

Hoorn Prison

The Dutch have some strange habits, I should know I lived there for thirty years, but recently a story came out of Holland that beggars belief. In the town of Hoorn, near Amsterdam, thieves broke into, yes that’s right, into a prison and stole the inmates t.v’s while they were away for the weekend. The crazy thing is, it happened not once, but twice in a period of six weeks, the second time they set off an alarm but still got away. Prison officials are totally baffled as to how the burglars got in and out again with the t.v.’s without being noticed by staff. Mind you, if I know ‘Cloggyland’, I’ll bet the guards were probably watching football on the TV, and that’s why theirs didn’t get pinched!!!

Modern Iranian Girl

Iran is said to be the most earthquake prone zone in the Middle East, and a senior Iranian cleric Hojatoleslam Kazem Sidiqhi has finally found out why! According to him woman are to blame for the earthquakes in Iran! This ‘learned’ gentleman has been quoted by an Iranian newspaper as saying during a prayer meeting; “Many women who do not dress modestly…lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society increase earthquakes.” My goodness, I bet he thought long and hard over that one! He is of course hitting out at the younger generation of Muslim women who do not follow the strict dress code of Islam, i.e. covering themselves from head to toe. Many today wear tight jeans and have their face uncovered, much to the disgust of devout Muslims and their clergy. Hence perhaps the rather novel notion these ‘loose’ women cause earthquakes. I can’t believe his followers take him seriously, but they do. I guess seismologists world-wide can start looking for alternative work because this guy has answered all their questions!!!

Sorry! Call This Number

If someone damages your car, naturally you would think the correct thing to do is go to the police station and report it; Right? Wrong! Not in Hessle near Hull in England. That is what Andy Bevan did when someone slashed his tyres, but when he got to the police station he was given a card and told to ring the Command Centre because they could not deal with it. To make matters worse, while he was outside using his mobile, a policeman came out and told him he could use a phone inside the station. It’s the same old story in the UK these days, you can never find a copper when you need one, and when you do, he can’t do anything because he is only there to fill in forms, but not the one pertaining to your case!!!

Here You Are Miss Er…!

Once more the ‘Human Rights’ issue has raised its ugly head in Britain with a transsexual suing the NHS because they will not give ‘her’ a boob job! Born a man, ‘C’ has been on hormone treatment since 1996 but it failed to provide, according to ‘her’, with adequate breasts. So ‘she’ wants an operation on the NHS to enlarge them before undergoing a sex change operation. The NHS refused, saying the requested treatment was purely cosmetic. ‘C’ claims not having the operation will leave her ‘between sexes’ and is causing her stress, so now ‘she’ is playing the Human Rights card with a battery of lawyers before the High Court. Big or small breasts, I hope ‘she’ never gives me the ‘come on’!!!

Unrepentant – Tohseef Shah

Once again, the farce that is the British justice system failed spectacularly recently when a young Muslim was arrested and charged for scrawling Islamic slogans like “Islam will dominate the world” on a WW2 monument in the town of Burton-on-Trent. The graffiti praised Osama bin Laden and threatened the Prime Minister (Gordon Brown) with death but, surprise, surprise, the Crown Prosecution Service considered the graffiti to be; “Not racially motivated.” This, according to the CPS, is because a Judge ruled; “Christian beliefs had no right of protection under British law (No! Only Islamic).” The offender, Tohseef Shah was therefore not prosecuted under the more serious charge of inciting religious hatred and got off with a two-year conditional discharge and a fine of £500 to pay for the clean-up job, this despite him showing no remorse at his actions. Needless to say, veterans are fuming at the ruling.  I think our forefathers must be thinking; Sod it! What was the point???

You know what they say: “Life’s a bitch and then you die!” More to come!

Roy.
