A Disillusioned Man

A Disillusioned Man

David Cameron is once again in the news because of his new plan to make cuts in European migrants who come to Britain for work. But once again the silly man got it wrong! Jose Manuel Barroso has castigated him saying that free movement of European citizens is essential to the workings of the European Union (E.U.), and such a move would be against E.U. Laws.

Cameron’s idea is to place a limit on the number of new National Insurance Numbers given out to migrants, which should mean those without one cannot be legally employed. He is planning to give out only 100,000 per year, which according to him will restrict the flow of migrants to that number. He envisages only giving a temporary insurance number which would stop them from moving to Britain to work and claim benefits indefinitely. As the saying goes: “In yer dreams Pal!”

Migrant Workers Favoured For This Work

Migrant Workers Favoured For This Work

Such a tactic may help somewhat, but it will not put much of a damper on the numbers. Many will work without one because there are too many employers who will give them a job ‘on the black’ in order to save labour costs. As Mr. Barroso has stated, such a plan would cause great upheaval and problems within the E.U. for Great Britain and will, I am sure, founder on the rocks.

No Mr. Cameron, you are definitely on the wrong track! If you want to cut down on the number of immigrants coming to our shores there is only one way to do it: Stop giving them free benefits, housing and health care!

Just take a look at two random E.U. countries and see how they compare to the U.K.

DENMARK

Health care – Free, available immediately

Child benefit – Up to £161 a month available after 12 months

Unemployment benefit – Minimum of one year’s work required to qualify

Housing benefit – No equivalent scheme

HOLLAND

Health care – Only available with a certificate proving entitlement

Child benefit – Immediate payment of £943 per year

Unemployment benefit – Six-month qualifying period

Housing benefit – Means tested, available immediately

The E.U. Migrant Flow Into The U.K.

The E.U. Migrant Flow Into The U.K.

UNITED KINGDOM

Health care – Available immediately and free of charge under the National Health Service

Child benefit – Paid immediately if the child is under 16, or 16 to 19 and in education or training, and the claimant has an individual income of less than £50,000. Amount is £20.30 a week (£1,055 per annum) for the eldest or only child, £13.40 (£696 per annum) per additional child.

Unemployment benefit – Immediate payment of £71.70 (£3,728 per annum,) a week in Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) after proving ‘you are actively seeking work’. EU migrants have to pass the “right-to-reside” test to show they are “economically active”. The European Commission wants to abolish this test. There is also contribution-based additional JSA which is only available after working for at least two years.

Housing benefit – Available immediately if you are on a low income, whether you are working or unemployed. How much depends on individual circumstances, but amount cannot normally exceed £250 per week (£3,000 per annum) for a one-bedroom property, or up to £400 a week (£4,800 per annum) for four bedrooms or more.

Migrants Looking For Casual (None Registered) Work

Migrants Looking For Casual (None Registered) Work

Britain should be like other European countries, where, if you are not working, you get very limited benefits until you have been in the country, and worked long enough to earn them! This should apply to every immigrant, whether he or she is from within the E.U. or not. Over the years it has become clear that many of the immigrants coming to our shores do so for one thing,  free handouts.

Immigration Figures 2014

The Biggest Problem Is Self Evident!

It is true that many E.U. migrants do come here to find work, and many do so quickly, but they all get benefits and free health insurance and treatment from the NHS, and we all know what a mess that is in. So far as the non-E.U. migrants are concerned, all they want are the benefits, free housing and health care.

Someone Tells It Like It Is!

Someone Tells It Like It Is!

If all those wishing to come to this country are told they will get no benefits, free housing or health care for at least a year, the flow will rapidly decrease, especially among the non-E.U. migrants.

I think Mr, Cameron, you will have much more success with this plan than yours!

How Can You Ever Trust A Politician?

Ed Milliband - You Believe Me Don't You?

Ed Milliband – You Believe Me Don’t You?

In all my years I have never heard such a ridiculous bunch of bullshit as that being spouted by the current Labour leader Ed Milliband. Only a fool will ever trust the promises of a politician when they are trying to get elected, and none more so than this idiot. He is asking the British electorate for ten years in power to “reverse the damage done by the Conservatives“, during which he will build “a world class Britain”! …Really?

I find it quite fascinating that Labour are consistently blaming the Tories for the utter mess the country is in, and posting themselves as the ‘lily-white’ saviours. They must think the electorate are either stupid or have very short memories.

Headline From 2003

Headline From 2003

We have reached the stage where the people are taxed to the hilt, the NHS and benefits systems are on the point of collapsing, there is not enough housing for everyone, and the economy is falling apart. After all the damage the previous Labour government did to this once great nation I find it incredible that anyone would ever trust them again.

All of the problems this country is suffering can be traced directly back to Tony Blair and his Labour government throwing the doors wide open to millions of immigrants from wherever in the world who wanted to come to Britain. Not only that, but he gave them free access to the NHS, Benefits and housing, prioritizing them over people born and bred here! As you would expect, this all cost money so what did Labour do? They borrowed it and put the country deep in debt! So much for Blair’s ‘Multi-Cultural Britain’.

How Milliband has the nerve to stand up in public and deliver this following extraction from his speech defy’s the imagination:

You see. According to Ed Milliband this is all the fault of the Conservatives!

He now promises a ten-year plan to build “a World Class Britain with no extra money” and believe it or not, there will be idiots who believe him and vote Labour at the next election!

NHS - Going? Going?... Gone?

NHS – Going? Going?… Gone?

He ‘pledges’ a spending boost for the NHS without a mention of where the money will come from, he also ‘pledges’ to help young people get on the housing ladder by building 200,000 more homes. He says, “So many people have lost faith in the future. I’ve met young people who should have the brightest of futures who tell me their generation is falling into a black hole.” This is very true, but the fact that young people cannot get jobs is because Labour sabotaged the education system and the jobs market is flooded with immigrants who work for less money.

Among his other promises are “to halve the number of low-paid workers and to create a million new “green” technology jobs”. Again, he does not say how he will do this! He also says, “For Labour, this election is about you. You have made the sacrifices. You have taken home lower wages year after year. You have paid higher taxes. You have seen your energy bills rise. You have seen your NHS decline. You know this country doesn’t work for you. We can build that better future for you and your family, wherever you live in the United Kingdom, and this speech is about Labour’s plan to do it: Labour’s plan for Britain’s future.”

The one thing he does not say is HOW!

Diane Abbot - She said It!

Diane Abbot – She said It!

In my view, Labour did so much damage to the country that it may never get back to what it was, and don’t forget that many Labour M.P’s have said publicly that mass immigration should, and will continue under a Labour government. I don’t know about you, but the idea of that happening scares the pants off me, for it will surely spell the death knell for our country.

Harriet Harman - She Said It!

Harriet Harman – She Said It!

Yesterday, Ed Balls the Shadow Chancellor said that Labour would not borrow money to fund spending commitments. Let me tell you now that will never happen. Why? Because Labour have never done that in all their years of existence despite promises it made in the past, and more importantly, there just isn’t enough money in the bank! In their long history Labour have always promised what people want to hear, but seldom delivered. Remember the days of ‘Boom and Bust’?

Grant Schapps

Grant Schapps

So what do the Conservatives think of all this? Well, in the words of  Conservative Party chairman Grant Shapps : “Ed Miliband forgets that he was at the heart of a Labour government which had three terms, 13 years – and left Britain on its knees at the end of it. A vote for Labour is a vote to put the recovery at risk, jobs at risk and the long-term future of our country at risk.” I must say I couldn’t have put it better myself!

Which One Do You Trust?

Which One Do You Trust?

As you well know, Ed Milliband agreed with the Government to allow extra powers for Scotland during the referendum crisis (for that is what it was), and also to the giving of extra powers to Wales, Northern Island and various major cities around the country. Now in his speech he says: “Our task is to restore people’s faith in the future. But the way to do it is not to break up our country (?). It is to break with the old way of doing things, break with the past.” Now to me that sounds like a direct contradiction to what he agreed with the government!

Whichever way it goes at the election, the people of Britain will not be the winners, for among the existing three parties I do not believe any of them are capable of properly repairing the massive damage Tony Blair and Labour did with their Multi-Cultural Britain Plan. I just hope the electorate really think hard before they cast their votes at the General Election.

Unemployment = ‘Catch 22’

Posted in Britain, Budget Cuts, Immigrants, Teen Violence, Teens, UK with tags , , , on 13/10/2011 by floroy1942

The latest unemployment figures for Britain are causing widespread concern, and so they should. It is stated that currently, 2.75million people are without work, which is the highest figure since 1994. But how did we get to such a situation?

Looking For Work

I believe there are several reasons. Chief among them is the high rate of immigration fostered by Labour in the preceding 14 years. Why? Because its basic maths! Simply put: If a country has 10 million workers and there are 10million  jobs, everybody works. If however, you have 10million jobs and 10million workers, plus 3million immigrants, then it stands to reason that 3million will be unemployed.

Unemployment – The Labour Legacy

Labour got around this by creating what I call, artificial jobs, i.e. by ‘manufacturing’ jobs in the Public Sector that were unnecessary, but at least lowered the jobless totals. It meant in effect, that we had three people doing the job of one. Now we have a scenario where this is coming back to bite us in the ass! Public Sector jobs fell by 111,000 in the three months up to June this year. Money is tight and most government services are having to cut back, thereby shedding the ‘artificial jobs’ created previously. Labour Leader Ed Miliband conveniently forgot Labour’s responsibility for the current mess by saying to the Prime Minister during Question Time : “he’s doing nothing to save the jobs of hundreds of thousands of people up and down this country,”

Bad Place To Live!

Britain is learning the hard way that you cannot open your doors to everyone who wants to come in, and then expect them, and the indigenous population, all to find jobs. The truth is, there just aren’t enough jobs for everyone who wants one! With money tight, companies are shedding staff right, left and centre, because they cannot sell the goods produced and need to cut back to survive. People are not buying the goods because they have no money. If High Street spending is buoyant, manufacturers employ more people to meet demand, but sadly the reverse is true at the moment. All this goes to add to the burden of unemployed.

If you think this is a ‘cock-eyed’ theory, then take a look at all the other countries in Europe which have not opened the floodgates to immigrants, and look at their unemployment figures. Of course they are higher than normal, but that is only due to the economic crisis. They are not suffering the ‘double whammy’ that Britain is!

A Future Bank Manager – I Think Not!

Another factor in my view, is the poor standards of education that are hindering our youth from finding work. As any intelligent person knows, education standards have slipped disastrously over the last decade and now the effects are being felt because many of our youth today are literally unemployable.

Future Nurse? Secretary? Doctor? Not Really!

It is not only their low standard of education that is at fault, but also their slip-shod ways, lack of discipline and  general tardiness that goes against them. It is not surprising we had the riots a few weeks ago, for there is a whole generation of youth who feel forgotten, and its not all their fault.

I will be the first to admit that not all youth fall into this category, but sadly, very many do.

Migrant Workers Can Be Better

As I see it, the only way out of the first problem is for UK companies to hire indigenous people over an immigrant, but then we come up against problem number 2. Why should a company hire someone who is semi-literate, always late, lazy and dresses like a slob, over a properly educated foreigner, even if he can’t speak english properly. So we have a ‘Catch 22’ situation in the UK that doesn’t look like being solved for some time to come. Perhaps someday a solution will be found, but I am not holding my breath!
