Killings

Posted in America, Britain, England, European Union, Government, News, Old Age Pensioner, Police, Prison, Teen Violence with tags , , , , on 12/08/2018 by floroy1942

Why are so many people bent on killing other people? In England the situation is getting worse as more murders are carried out. Why? Years ago Britain lived in peace and there were hardly any murders, and those that were caught were hanged. We have to get back to this. Most of the murderers are young adults who get in a rage because of something that the other youths disagree with them. We should teach our children not to harm others because of an argument. But parents don’t care these days and ignore the growing up of children.

Why don’t we get back to old days where children were educated by the parents not to do things that were against the law and harm others. When I was a child my parents were strict and told me not to do things that harmed others. That is all gone now as the parents don’t take any notice of the children growing up. They do not bother and allow them to get into fights and steal from shops.

When they get older they get into fights with others, and sometimes they kill them. What is the matter with these people? The number of killings in London has risen by 200% in the last two years and the police can’t find the culprits. Sometimes they capture a killer, but that is not always the case.

For murder they should be sent to prison for life, and some should be hanged. We are getting out of hand with these killers, and who knows that once they get out of prison they will not murder someone else. It has happened.

Once we get out of Brexit there should be strict laws that enforce these killers not to do any harm to others. The hanging should be enforced to stop these murders. Anyone who kills should be sent to prison and hanged by the throat until they are are dead. We cannot go on like this where murderers are sent to prison for four or six years and then released.

In Europe this has been going on for years and the prisons are overcrowded with Muslims. Why don’t they sent them back to where they came from and let the countries that are there homes sentence them. Murderers should be hanged a soon as the court has reached a decision.

We cannot go on like this, for the people are very worried about this and it is not only the young folk that get killed, but also old-age pensioners and middle-class people. We cannot go on like this for ever, for we will be in a horrible situation in the future.

The Niqab Ban

Ban The Burka

The niqab has now been banned in public places in Denmark as from 1st of August this year. It is time the whole world banned this disgrace. For when we see Muslim women with their face covered it has no place in this modern world. It is a tradition in the Muslim world that has no place in the west. We need to see the faces of people we deal with, especially in shops. It has been banned in France and many other countries and it should be all over Europe.

When you are dealing with someone with their face covered you cannot tell if they are male or female. Some bombers have disguised themselves as women and this is dangerous. We have to see the face of women we deal with but this is not the case in many countries.

It is a tradition in most Arab countries, but this has to stop in Europe. Who knows if they are telling the truth when their face is covered. There is a lot of anger against this ruling but it must be be made inescapable by the Muslim women. This is a step forward for Europe, but some Muslim women say they will not comply. I read in the news that some women will not go out into public places for they are against this ban, but to stay at home forever will be a particularly harsh sentence.

We will see by August 1st how many Muslim women will heed this law. It for sure that not all will bow to the law, but eventually they will have no choice.

Personally, I would like to see the niqab banned throughout world but that will never happen, for the Arab countries will continue to have women covering their faces.

Theresa May Gets It Right

Posted in America, Benefits, Britain, David Cameron, England, European Union, Immigrants, News, Sharia Law, Terrorism with tags , , , , on 12/11/2015 by floroy1942

For decades Britain has been accepting refugees from war-torn countries, and after the statutory five years has given them permanent residency in the U.K. complete with a passport. No matter that the troubles in their homeland are over, and their country has returned to peace. They are still allowed to stay as permanent British citizens in this country which has led to no end of problems.

1What have we received in return from the Muslims over the last twenty years? The vast majority of them are still living off benefits which is crippling the entire system. They demonstrate daily against us saying they will take over the country and introduce Sharia Law. They have taken over entire districts of our towns and cities and turned them into Muslim neighbourhoods complete with their own Sharia Law. There are many places in the U.K. where British nationals fear to tread, especially at night. In many areas our children and young women are no longer safe on our streets unless accompanied by a white male.

All this in the name of humanity and a desire to help those who are fleeing a war-torn country. Now the entire continent of Europe is under the same pressure, and still the European Laws will allow those coming here to seek nationality in five years time. I have to say that the entire system is wrong, very wrong!

Theresa May - Home Secretary

Theresa May – Home Secretary

This in the main reason why I am glad to hear Theresa May’s speech at the Tory Party Conference when she said that she is beginning to change all that. During her speech, May said: “We’ll introduce strengthened ‘safe return reviews’ – so when a refugee’s temporary stay of protection in the UK comes to an end, or if there is a clear improvement in the conditions of their own country, we will review their need for protection. If their reason for asylum no longer stands and it is now safe for them to return, we will seek to return them to their home country rather than offer settlement here in Britain.” Now that is the best news I have heard for a generation.

If This Is The Perfect System Then Why Is Most Of The Middle East Embroiled In WAR!

If This Is The Perfect System Then Why Is Most Of The Middle East Embroiled In WAR!

It is time for our government, and those of Europe, to remove all those that are here illegally, for tens of thousands have been swanning around without any government taking interest in removing them. If they wish to appeal their removal then let them do it from their own country, and not harness the EU Human Rights Commission appeals system for ten years like Abu Qatada and Abu Hamsa.

Economic refugees from all European countries should immediately be returned from whence they came without any right to appeal. It is not until Britain and Europe take a hard line with these people that the flow will stop.

Fake Refugees

Fake Refugees

I am all for giving genuine refugees a temporary home until the fighting in their homeland is ended, but don’t allow them permanent residence just because they are refugees. It must be made clear to them when they arrive, that they will be repatriated once it is safe.

As Theresa may said, “We need to be clear that temporary protection does not automatically lead to permanent settlement in the UK.”

The Curse Of The Drone?

Posted in America, Australia, Britain, England, Environment, Modern World, News, Police, UK, USA with tags , , , , on 21/11/2014 by floroy1942

Like many people I am in favour of new technology, but sometimes it can lead to unforeseen problems that the inventor never thought of. This is particularly true of the new and popular use of drones, i.e. radio controlled mini helicopter-like model aircraft now available to the public, They can be used for a multitude of purposes, like just having a bit of fun, or in some cases by organizations or companies who require a bird’s eye view of the ground.

The Offending Advertisment

The Offending Advertisement

A situation came up in Australia this week where an estate agent used one for aerial  photo’s of a property they were selling and accidentally filmed a woman next door who was sunbathing topless in her garden. The pictures were posted on advertising boards for the property which were seen by the woman. She complained to the estate agent and the offending photo was removed with an apology, so no harm done. But it got me thinking.

Micro-Drone - The Ultimate Spy.

Micro-Drone – The Ultimate Spy.

Of course the military have been using drones for a long time, not only the big offensive ones used to fire rockets and missiles, but also to spy out the enemy at close quarters. It is a fact that they are getting smaller and smaller and are now a copy of insects, with the intention of using them for spying.

Opening up this technology to the public does open up a massive opportunity for abuse when used by the wrong people. Just imagine you are laying in the sun topless, or even naked, and one of these things comes flying over your garden. There’s not much you can do about it unless it comes close enough that you can hit it with a broom, and who knows who is controlling it. You may find the photo’s or film plastered all over Facebook or YouTube. Imagine one of these hovering just outside your bedroom window when you are dressing, or heaven forbid, making love to your wife or girlfriend! Now there’s a thought!

Proposed Amazon Delivery Drone

Proposed Amazon Delivery Drone

The big problem is that in almost all countries there is little or no legislation governing the use of drones. In America they are banned for commercial use, although Amazon is wanting to use them to deliver parcels to clients. In Australia they are legal, although they must be registered with the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority and flight plans must be submitted and approved. The one major rule that seems to be used in Britain is that the drone must be within sight of the operator at all times. Not very helpful.

Triathlete Raija Ogdenman Lays Injured As The Pieces Of The Drone That Hit Her Are Recovered.

Triathlete Raija Ogdenman Lays Injured As The Pieces Of The Drone That Hit Her Are Recovered.

Should these things become very popular there is one headache (in more ways than one) that I foresee happening. There have been many instances reported of these things crashing and injuring people on the ground. In Australia a triathlete was hit on the head when a drone crashed to the ground while filming a race, and in Virginia USA, during a copy of the famous Spanish Bull Run, one crashed into the spectators stand injuring several people.

There can be little doubt that without proper control these ‘toys’ could become a problem in society. First police would have to track down the owner, which in many cases may be impossible, and secondly there is the problem with who pays the medical bills of the injured. On top of that, you have to think of the worst situation where someone is killed by one. Looks like a bit of a minefield to me.

Driver-less Cars and Something No-one Has Thought of Yet.

Posted in America, Britain, England, Environment, Europe, Modern World, News, Traffic, Travel, UK with tags , , , , on 19/08/2014 by floroy1942

I was sitting here reading about driver-less cars being allowed on roads in the United Kingdom, and a thought struck me (No, it didn’t hurt).

There seems to be one aspect of driver-less cars that no-one seems to have thought out yet. How do you insure such a car?

Suppose you are reading the newspaper behind the wheel of your trusted driver-less car and there is a failure on a circuit board somewhere and you hit another car?

My thought was, who pays for the damage to the other guys car, and  yours. Most will think, “Oh it will be my insurance”, but, when the circuit failure is found you may not be the one to get the bill.

Now the big question comes, if there is an electronic failure with the car that leads to an accident, who pays, your insurance or the car manufacturer?

The insurance companies have a lot of work on their hands rewriting their policies for accidents when it come to this new phenomenon, and I think it will be tricky.

Either way, if you buy one – Good Luck!

The ‘Right To Die’ Debate

Posted in America, Britain, England, Europe, Government, Health, Human Rights, Justice, UK, USA with tags , , , on 31/07/2013 by floroy1942

The Right To Die

The question is: Should a person with no ‘quality of life’, due to disability or an incurable disease, have the right to end their own lives with or without the help of others? This problem has been bouncing around the legal system in many countries for decades, and currently we still have no satisfactory solution. Some nations like Switzerland, where euthanasia was made legal in 1942, take a more understanding view than others of the suffering that such people undergo. In America, Britain, and many other European nations, with the exception of Holland and Belgium,  governments stick to the letter of the law.

Swiss Assisted Suicide Rates 1998 to 2009

Swiss Assisted Suicide Rates 1998 to 2009

I can fully understand the stance of people who are completely paralyzed and can do nothing without help, along with those who must suffer excruciating pain every day wanting to end it all. In such circumstances many of us would feel the same, but sadly the law does not agree. Under British law, If a person in such a position were to be assisted in ending their suffering by a family member or friend, the law seldom takes action, but anyone with a medical background, be it a doctor, nurse or carer would immediately be charged with murder.  That just does not make sense!

I believe the law should recognise that it is better for someone to die in the controlled environment of a hospital where their passing can be made easy, than taking the desperate measure of being placed in a Muslim area with a placard insulting Allah around their necks. The latter would be effective, but I think I would certainly prefer a hospital bed.

The big problem as I see it, is that the law does not have a clue about the suffering that such people go through. You have to imagine being in a wheelchair for example, not being able to move a muscle and not being able to do a single thing for yourself like eat, drink, turn on the TV or go to the toilet. Every second of the day you are dependent on someone else for things that you took for granted before tragedy struck. Imagine being in excruciating pain every minute of every day without end. I am not sure I would have the fortitude to withstand such a thing, so I can fully understand the desperate need to have a dignified end to a life that is no longer worth living.

On top of your own pain and anguish is that of your loved ones who suffer with you. Imagine if you will what a loving wife or husband must go through, having to be there every minute of every day doing everything for you except breathing. Such a situation does not destroy one life, it has the same effect on those closest to the patient. I am seventy, and thank God in reasonable health, but I would hate to be such a burden to my wife.

Better To Fade Away With Medical Help

Better To Fade Away With Medical Help

Without doubt, it is time for the government and the Justice Ministry to take a look at this ‘crime against humanity’ and re-assess the laws guiding assisted suicide. I am sure that with reasonable consideration and debate, a satisfactory system can be worked out that allows such things in a controlled manner. I truly despair at the people who demonstrate against such legislation, and it would be poetic justice if at some time in the future they face this heart-rending situation themselves. After all, they shoot horses don’t they, so why should a human being suffer just because of some out-dated law.

Pakistan Girl Arrest – The Clock Turns Full Circle

Young, Handicapped, and Innocent

It was with a feeling of satisfaction that I read Saturday that a Muslim cleric has been arrested for planting evidence on the mentally handicapped Rimsha Misah, a 14 year-old girl who has spent two weeks in prison for supposed blasphemy. It is well known that these controversial blasphemy laws have been used frequently by Muslims to get back at people they have a disagreement with, and to terrorise non-Muslim populations. Now, thankfully the ‘chickens have come home to roost’ and the scandalous nature of this despicable law is open for all to see.

Pakistan has a very small number of Christians with 97% of the population being Muslim. They have for many years been victimized in attempts to force them out of their homeland just for their beliefs, and in many cases in the past, the blasphemy laws have been used to stir up trouble. On many occasions ‘Mob Rule’ has taken over once an accusation has been made.  In the southern Punjab city of Bahawalpur last July, a mentally unstable man accused of blasphemy was dragged from a police station by an angry mob. Ignoring his pleas of innocence, the mob doused him with petrol and burned him alive. The girl herself would most likely have been given a death sentence under the blasphemy laws.

How Can Anyone Trust A Muslim Cleric?

In this most recent case, the Imam of the local mosque, Hafiz Mohammed Khalid Chishti was arrested Saturday. He already admitted to inciting his ‘flock’ to force out the Christians, and it was a number of his own followers who stepped forward and gave the vital evidence that resulted in his arrest. “He was arrested after his deputy Maulvi Zubair and two others told a magistrate he added pages from the Koran to the burnt pages brought to him by a witness,” said Munir Hussain Jaffri, a police investigator.

The defence lawyer for the girl Rimsha hopes to have her released today, for she has spent the last two weeks in the notorious Adiala jail, and who knows how much trauma she has suffered. Over 600 of her Christian neighbours in the area have fled, fearing reprisals from the local Muslims.

Not The Place For A Young Girl

It without doubt time for this archaic law to be scrapped, and considering the world-wide publicity this case has caused, now might be a good time for the government to step in and repeal it. Let’s hope so!
