The Future - Unless We Do Something About It!

The Future – Unless We Do Something About It!

As a Brit have you ever had that sinking feeling as you look around at what is happening in the country today? When I see the incompetence of our politicians and justice system in today’s world it makes me want to cringe. When I see the thousands upon thousands of immigrants clogging up the country’s entry points it makes me want to scream. And yet, no-one seems capable or in some cases interested, in doing anything to save our civilization.

Some of the recent news items made me want to move to a desert island somewhere (with all the mod-cons of course) and shut myself off from the world completely.

Theresa May - Home Secretary

Theresa May – Home Secretary

Just this last week the U.K. Court of Appeal has given immigrants facing deportation for crimes committed in the U.K. the right to appeal their deportation in the courts in direct contradiction to the new rules initiated by the Home Secretary Theresa May. May’s new rule makes it possible for immigrant criminals to be deported immediately, but allows them to appeal from their home country. So far one thousand have been deported under this rule, but now, Lord Dyson, Master of the Rolls, sitting with Lord Justice Underhill, has given permission for two convicted drug offenders to challenge May’s ruling.

The challenges are being brought by Kevin Kinyanjui Kiarie, a Kenyan who came to the UK as a young child in 1997, and Courtney Aloysius Byndloss, a Jamaican father of at least seven children born in the UK from three partners.

See What I Mean

See What I Mean

The Justices argue that deportation would cause harm to their ‘family life (Art. 8 of the HRC), and according to them, the criminals will not have the benefit of legal aid and could face serious problems, including gaining access to video-link or internet facilities. Oh dear! What a shame! They are convicted drug criminals for crying out loud! Should we feel sorry for them?

Following this farce you can bet your last dollar they will be allowed to stay and continue their chosen trade. It seems we let them all in but can’t get rid of them when they turn out to be criminals.

It was also revealed last week that the U.K. population has risen drastically in the last year and now stands at a record 64,596,800, an increase of almost half a million since mid 2013.  Now I wonder how that happened?

Between mid-2013 and mid-2014 the overall figure for migrants arriving in the UK was 582,600, compared to 322,900 people leaving the country. I have to ask, just how long is Britain supposed to accept these immigrants before we can say NO MORE! They are breeding like rabbits once they get here and pretty soon will outnumber us.

Immigrants - Getting in Any Way They Can!

Immigrants – Getting in Any Way They Can!

We already have far too many, but we can’t deport even the criminals because of stupid laws from Strasbourg and our own impotent justice system, so I guess in 20 or 30 years they will take over. Don’t think that Britain is alone in this, for it will happen in the majority of European countries. Even the mighty United States is in danger at sometime in the future.

When it comes to immigrants everyone is so ‘touchy’ and frightened that last Thursday (25/6) a man was charged with “inciting racial hatred ahead of a proposed demonstration in an area of London with a large Jewish population.” The Police are reported as saying, “We are working with residents to ensure that people can exercise their rights in a way that is lawful.”

A Muslim Demonstration

A Muslim Demonstration – See What I Mean?

There is not much information on this issue, but when it comes to racial hatred the Police and laws are very one-sided. If British people demonstrate in the streets about the flood of immigrants they are arrested, but if the Muslims stand on a street corner shouting hate slogans at passers-by they are given a Police escort. Where is the justice in that?

I think we are getting close to the time when mankind should be eradicated on this planet so we can start all over again, and hopefully make a better job of it.

THIS Is Punishment? You Must Be Joking!

Posted in Britain, Conservative Party, England, European Union, Human Rights, Justice, News, Political Correctness, Prison, Riot with tags , , , , on 30/03/2015 by floroy1942

If you commit a crime you go to prison right? Prison is supposed to be a punishment for the criminal to ensure that he changes his ways and becomes a better citizen, right? Well, if you thought that you would be very wrong!

A news item released today has once again revealed that prisoners in our jails have a better life than you or I, and there is no such thing as punishment for crimes committed in this ‘enlightened’ age! The whole episode makes a mockery of British Justice.

It concerns a ‘drug lord’ who was sentenced to five years but is living the high life in prison with all the comforts of home, and many you would love to have. Jason Crocker, 36 was caught by the police selling drugs, and these are photographs of his cell that he took himself and posted on Facebook:

How on earth are prisoners living in the lap of luxury supposed to feel remorse for their actions and become reformed citizens? How on earth is living like this supposed to be a punishment?

The following are some of the public’s reactions to this article:

“How can this be allowed to happen? Surely the person(s) responsible for making these misery mongers lives comfortable in prison should disciplined and dismissed! It makes my blood boil… ”

“What the hell is the prison service up to? That governor should be sacked on the spot and someone with the balls to impose a proper regime installed. Everything in that cell that is non-regulation should be confiscated immediately as a starter.”

“What is the world coming to. this guy seems to be having a better life than me and I’ve never done a thing wrong in my life. its time the government stamped down on this and made prison what its supposed to be and that’s punishment not a life of Riley.”

“I can’t afford a games cube! I’ve never been in prison but it sounds wonderful!! Are we really allowing this to go on at the tax payers expense? He was a dirty drug dealer, destroying people’s lives for goodness knows how long & should not have anything other than a toilet in his cell. There is no deterrent in prison sentences. Make them work, bring back the harshest regime!”

I have to agree with all the sentiments above, but thanks to the Human Rights Laws from Brussels, and the ‘Goody-Goody Brigade’ here at home, we have reached a stage where there is no longer an incentive for criminals to ‘go straight’ when released.

Jason Crocker

Jason Crocker

If they get caught they receive a paltry sentence, even for murder, and then live a life of luxury behind bars at the Tax Payers expense. The only thing they miss is their freedom of movement. This is just not right, and it’s time we had a government willing and able to do something about it.

Send in the Riot Squad or Army and remove all the niceties from every cell and replace it with the standard bed and toilet, then lets see how they reform.

Prison guards should stop being ‘Mr. Nice Guy’ and be very strict, allowing only that which is necessary for living without all the comforts of home. Any guard who is caught allowing ‘contraband’ into the prison receives an automatic six months sentence and is fired from his job.

The Results Of A Prison Riot

The Results Of A Prison Riot

You can be sure there will be prison riots, but the moment trouble breaks out the Riot Squad or Army go in and sort it out. A few soldiers armed with batons and fire-hoses should be able to sort that out.

Prison Riot Squad

Prison Riot Squad

There can be little doubt that we need more prison guards who can watch the movements of prisoners at all times and quell trouble the moment it starts. A system of isolating a trouble spot in the prison is vital to stop it spreading to other wings. The answer to all prison riots is isolation and a quick response to prevent it spreading. Another essential is allowing only small groups of prisoners to move about the prison.

Work is another essential that is missing today, for it is far better to have prisoners working eight hours a day than lounging around playing snooker or watching TV. It is way past time that they made a contribution to society during their incarceration instead of living the kind of life many of us can only dream about.

Another British Government Failure

Posted in Britain, David Cameron, England, Human Rights, Immigration, Justice, News, Police, Politics, Prison with tags , , , , on 22/01/2015 by floroy1942

A report from MPs on the Committee of Public Accounts in Britain has highlighted yet again the failure of government to take the correct measures when dealing with immigrants. This time it is the Home Office in the line of fire.

Theresa May - Home Secretary

Theresa May – Home Secretary

The report shows a decisive failure of the Home Secretary to order deportation for immigrant criminals who reside among us. The rules demand that any immigrant sentenced to more than one year in jail is to be deported on release, sadly this has not been followed.

According to the National Audit Office (NAO) a total of 760 immigrant criminals are ‘on the run’ from the police, and this includes murderers and rapists. A total of 151 foreign nationals have been released onto the streets of Britain after serving their prison term since 2009, instead of being deported as the rules state.

Home Office

Home Office

Something just as disturbing is that the government has been paying some of these people compensation because of delays in bringing their case to court. In total the Home Office has paid out £6.2 million to 229 immigrants awaiting trial, which averages out at £27,000 each.

The report also says that the police have not been carrying out criminal records checks on more than two-thirds of those arrested. This means that in effect, a serial offender can get a light sentence because his previous convictions have not been taken into consideration.

Terror Suspect Mohammed Ahmed Mohamed. He Fled In A Burka From A Mosque.

In a joint statement, Margaret Hodge, chair of the Committee of Public Accounts, together with committee member Richard Bacon, said: “There has been a complete failure to improve the management and removal of foreign national offenders. Despite firm commitments to improve and a massive ten-fold increase in resources, the system still appears to be dysfunctional.”

Yvette Cooper - Shadow Home Secretary

Yvette Cooper – Shadow Home Secretary

Theresa May has come in for heavy criticism from the Labour Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper who said,  “This is a damning report of failure and incompetence in Theresa May’s Home Office. Previous home secretaries have resigned over this kind of thing. Yet time and again Theresa May just hides and blames everyone else.”

Britain currently has around 10,000 foreign prisoners locked up for various crimes, and the number removed from our shores after release rose to 5,613 in 2008/09, but sadly the numbers have fallen far short since then.

Part of the problem for the government is the Human Rights Act (HRA). Clause 8 decrees that all people ‘have a right to family life’ and many foreign criminals have used this to escape deportation, even those charged with multiple murder and rape. The good news is that David Cameron and his ministers are working to scrap the HRA in Britain, I have to say, about time too.

Abu Qatada - IT Took Ten Years To Deport Him To America

Abu Qatada – It Took Ten Years To Deport Him To America

There can be little doubt that the entire system needs a good shake-up from the top down, for this kind of lax behaviour is disgraceful. There should be no hesitation on the part of the Home Office to deport those who commit major crimes, and if they have a family they go too. This country has more than enough of its own criminals without having to accept foreign nationals who break the law.

Migrant Arrests

Migrant Arrests

There are constant complaints that our prisons are too full, and yet we have 10,000 foreign nationals in our prisons. This just doesn’t make sense. By deporting these people along with their families we will make more space available, and it would be a lesson to all immigrants that we will not stand for this behaviour.

It is without doubt time for someone to light a fire under this government and make them understand that we the people will not stand for this incompetence.

There’s Dumb, Dumber and Unbelievably Dumb!

Posted in Britain, European Union, Government, Human Rights, Justice, News, Police, Politics, Prison, UK with tags , , , , on 05/05/2014 by floroy1942

Reading the news today has revealed to me how utterly stupid our government really is. You would expect them to do silly things now and then, but nothing that could be classed as putting the public at risk. But sad to say that has happened – again!

A Vicious Robber

A Vicious Robber

I refer to the fact that a vicious robber sentenced to thirteen life sentences for brutal robberies has escaped after being let out on ‘day release’ from an open prison. The man is question, Michael Wheatley must be laughing himself sick at the stupidity of the British legal system that not only kept him in an open prison, but allowed him out on day release. Naturally, as you would expect he did a runner and is now being sought by police, as if they don’t have enough to do!

Michael Wheatley, otherwise known as the ‘Skull Cracker’ was sentenced at the Old Bailey in 2002 for a string of really brutal raids on banks and building societies. He got the name of Skull Cracker for his habit of pistol whipping victims over the head with a blank-firing pistol during the robberies. He even went so far as to repeatedly hit a 73 year-old woman over the head in an act of sheer brutality.

Caught on A Security System Camera

Caught on A Security System Camera

For his deeds he received thirteen life sentences for robbery and thirteen concurrent five-year sentences for possessing an imitation firearm. The judge said he must serve a minimum of eight years. Now for a start off, how can someone be sentenced to life, and be told he must serve a minimum of eight years??? Perhaps the judge thought he might die after eight years!

This is one of the most stupid judicial systems in the world where they call it a life sentence but you must do a minimum of eight years. Either he is in prison for life or he is in for eight years, why name it any different. The whole sentencing system in the UK is a total and utter farce from beginning to end. Is it just a smoke-screen to fool the public into thinking someone got the sentence they deserve?  Its no wonder the criminals in Britain are falling on the floor laughing.

The Justice System Is In Need Of Repair

The Justice System Is In Need Of Repair

What makes it even more incredible is that he committed the above offences just three weeks after being released from a twenty-seven year sentence for other robberies!!!! I suppose the judge sentenced him that time to twenty-seven years but he must serve a minimum of five years. Either way, you would have thought any sane judge would recognize this person for what he is with him going on the rampage just three weeks after release from a previous sentence.!

HMP Standford Hill Open Prison On The Isle of Sheppey

HMP Standford Hill Open Prison On The Isle of Sheppey

Also, you have to ask why such a man was serving his sentence in an Open Prison??? This is a very relaxed prison system where prisoners have little or no restrictions and are allowed out each day to work. They are supposed to be ‘training’ facilities where inmates are prepared for life back in the community when their sentences are nearly over. But surely, going straight back to robbery again after being in prison for ‘twenty-seven’ years must have told these idiots something, i.e. that he cannot be trusted, and yet he still goes to an open prison where he can just walk out the door!!! It is absolutely astounding!

I have to admit that I am truly and utterly amazed at the crass stupidity of those in charge of our justice system, for believe me, this is not an isolated case.

The Scales Of Justice - Weighted In Favour Of The Criminal

The Scales Of Justice – Weighted In Favour Of The Criminal

It is no wonder that crime is rife in the country when the entire sentencing system is such a joke. If you don’t pay your taxes you go to jail for longer than a killer or a rapist. Is that right? There are so many killers who are paroled after serving a mere fraction of their sentence and end up going back into crime, sometimes within a week of release. And yet the politicians cannot see this. Why?

I believe part of the problem is the so-called prison overcrowding. Prisoners must have a cell to themselves with their own TV, games centre and sound system because of the Human Rights Goody Goody Brigade. According to them we have to treat our prison population better than the victims of the crimes they commit, all in the name of Human Rights. If the prisons are overcrowded then put two in a cell, or three, who cares they are criminals. They do not have the right to be better kept than their victims!

British Justice In Action

British Justice In Action

Another major problem is the ‘good-goody two shoes’ on the parole boards who have the responsibility to decide if a prisoner is readjusted enough to be released on parole. Are these people mental??? They listen to the sob stories of hardened criminals and let them out after they have served a fraction of their sentence. The ‘toerags’ leave the prison with a big smile on their faces and go straight back to what they were doing before. Wheatley is a prime example of that.

It is way past time that we get out from under the heavy yoke of the Human Rights Commission in Europe and get back to making our own laws and standards again for these rules are making a mockery of the justice system.

Nigel Farage - Perhaps The Country's Only Hope.

Nigel Farage – Perhaps The Country’s Only Hope.

I do not support any political party and I never have, but this time around I am sure that the only way forward for the UK is to support UKIP in the hope they can do better than the other three waste of space, namely the Con/Lib/Lab crowd, all of whom have brought us to this sorry state.

Like everyone else I have no idea what UKIP will be like as a government, but they can certainly be no worse than the other lot. I do not think it a good idea to withdraw totally from the EU for that will have serious economic consequences, but we have to refute all control of our justice system and immigration from Brussels.

Phew! I’m glad I got that lot off my chest. May your days be happy, and may all criminals rot in hell!

New High’s In The Failure Of British Justice

Posted in Britain, Conservative Party, David Cameron, England, European Union, Human Rights, Justice, Police, Prison, UK with tags , , , , on 10/01/2014 by floroy1942

For years now people have complained about the failures of British justice. Today it became known that thousands of repeat offenders got only the proverbial ‘slap on the wrist’. It seems the whole justice system is totally incapable of handing down proper sentences on criminals any more.

The Community Service Farce

One case in particular was highlighted by the press where a man with 300 previous convictions to his name still managed to avoid being sent to jail. It just about beggars belief, and makes you wonder why we don’t just sack all the judges and save the country a lot of tax payers money!

Mind you, he was not the only one. Around 76,802 people found guilty of a crime, all with at least six previous offences, escaped jail at the hands of our ‘Justice’ System. That figure includes 36,028 with 15 or more previous offences, and 16,232 with 25 or more convictions who all escaped being sent to jail. These figures have been supplied by the campaign group the Centre for Crime Prevention.

Well, I have to say that whatever system the politicians and their judgeships  have in place at the moment, it just ain’t working.

With the rapidly climbing crime rate, and this includes murder, it rapidly becomes clear that decisive action is required by the government.

Time To Get A Suntan?

This hypocrisy of  ‘prisoners rights’ being put before the rights of the victims and their families has to stop. To send a convicted murderer away for ‘Life’ and let him out after three or five years is dis-honouring the very word justice. To allow people with many previous convictions to get away  with their crimes will only spur them on to continue. Such is the state of our justice system that many have become career criminals, knowing they have nothing to fear from the law. Their victims are cast aside like so much trash because we must be humane when punishing our criminals.

All The Comforts Of Home

Of course the European Court of Human Rights has an awful lot to answer for in this area with their meddling. They put the rights of criminals above their victims, even in cases of murder. When jailed, criminals must be molly-coddled and given all the comforts of home. It is essential they have their pool tables, game systems and televisions for they must have a quality of life equivalent to you and I. They do no work but lounge around all day and generally live the life of Reilly, certainly better than you or I.

Whatever the prison system does, it most certainly does not act as a deterrent against crime any more. For the majority of criminals its just a short holiday at the tax payers expense before they go out and continue what they were doing before.

Pool Anyone? When Did You Last Get The Chance?

Much as I hate to say it, it may well be time for Britain to thumb its nose at the EU, for that is the only way we will get back any form of real justice. We need to go back to the times when prison was something to be feared by all law-breakers.

You’ve Been Mugged!

Only with punishments to fit the crime will we ever be free of daily muggings, robberies and murders. Only then will people be able to walk the streets without fear, especially at night. Only then will people feel safe in their own homes. Street gangs that terrorize communities, openly sell drugs on the streets, and do literally as they please without fear of the law will disappear when a few of them have been banged up for a period of hard labour.

It all comes back to the same answer, if the deterrent is not there things will never change. It will only get worse.

Theresa May Got It Half-Right

Theresa May

Theresa May

It was interesting to read reports that Home Secretary Theresa May is to tell the Police Federation at their Bournemouth annual conference, that in future, police killers will get life without parole. Currently, the sentence for killing a police officer is thirty years, but the government are in the process of making that a mandatory life sentence, meaning life. So in other words, if you kill a police officer you die in prison.

I read with interest the comments from readers on this piece of news, and was not surprised to see that everyone said the same thing, it should be life for all killers. “What is so special about the police, why not everyone?” I have to say that for premeditated murder at least, this should be the case. Since we have done away with the death sentence, many killers have escaped true justice with paltry sentences that make a mockery of the law, and that has to stop.

Police Tractor - Used For Chasing Farmers in The Countryside.

Police Tractor – Used For Chasing Farmers in The Countryside.

Since 2000 there have been twelve police officers killed in the line of duty, which you may not think is many considering the number of civilians who have died, but you have to remember that we, the people, pay these individuals to deliberately put themselves in harm’s way to protect us. For that they should have some justice from us, and the justice system. I readily admit that as a police force they are not always ‘lily white’, but compared to forces in most other countries they are one of the very best, so why should we not protect them.

No-one Complained When Saddam Was Hung

No-one Complained When Saddam Was Hung

It is a fact of modern life that you hear almost every day of someone, somewhere, being killed unlawfully and yet we hear all too often of the killers getting away with a seven year sentence or less. In some cases the Human Rights Laws have been used in court and the killer has walked away Scot free. This is not justice!

The Bulger Killers

The Bulger Killers

I have always held the belief that the one true way of making people think twice before killing someone is the death penalty. When I was young, you could almost count on your fingers the number of murder victims a year, because these people knew that when they were caught they would be ‘hung by the neck until dead’! Now there is no such deterrent and they literally ‘get away with murder’.

Is This British Justice?

Is This British Justice?

We have these days, killers as young as nine and ten years old and yet the justice system seems totally unable to hand out ‘just’ sentences. As a prime example of this, the Bulger killers did not spend long in jail before being released, despite beating to death a two-year-old. The investigating detectives described them as ‘pure evil’ in the making. When you consider that our prisons today are more like five-star hotels than a place of punishment, it just makes the whole situation worse. Being ‘banged up’ is like a holiday compared to what it used to be.

The Scales of Justice?

The Scales of Justice?

I agree wholeheartedly with Theresa May’s proposal for it has been long overdue, however, like most people I don’t think it goes far enough. To reduce crime we need to be tough on crime. We need to make sentences and our prison service so tough that no-one ever wants to go back, and only then will we see a significant drop in crime figures. To hell with this ‘Human Rights’ crap, for all that has done is tilt the scales of justice in the criminals favour. Lets start being really tough on crime.

Roy.

Post Addition: This is to show how easy prisoners have it in British jails. For those that commit crime, be it burglary, robbery or murder, there is nothing to make them afraid of going back, as there used to be.

We Sentence You To Be Paralyzed

Posted in Arab, Human Rights, Insanity, Justice, Modern World, Muslim, Religion, Sharia Law, Torture with tags , , , on 05/04/2013 by floroy1942

I have often written of the bestiality of Sharia Law as do others, but yesterday’s news from Saudi Arabia, a so-called civilized nation, is disgraceful. Admittedly, the man in question attacked another with a knife that left the victim paralyzed, but now a Sharia Court has sentenced the assailant to be medically paralyzed. The call came from relatives of the victim who claimed this be done under the ‘eye for an eye’ law in Sharia.

Many medical practitioners in the country refused to carry out the operation, but it seems they have at last found one who was willing to do the surgery.

Naturally, the victim has my full sympathy, but to deliberately cause the offender to suffer this is barbaric to say the least. Lock him away, give him hard labour by all means but not this. He has already served ten years in prison while the courts tried to find a willing medical team, but now the search is over.

This is just a single case from an entire history of such abuses. People have had their eyes gouged out, hands chopped off, teeth removed, public flogging and not to forget the stoning to death of women. Its like Muslims are living in the Middle Ages and not the 21st century.

The question is, will it ever change? I would say there is little chance of that because it is embedded in their religion, and no matter how much we protest at this inhumanity it will never change. It is without doubt a sad indictment of today’s world.

Roy.
