How Heartless Can People Be Today?

I was scanning the Yahoo News page today when I saw CCTV footage of a speeding car that ran into a 91 year-old RAF veteran. The car, driven by Gurpreet Sandhu, aged 27 was speeding at 56mph in a 30mph zone when he hit John Downes in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands of Britain as he was crossing the road. The driver was listening to very loud music in his car.

Three other people were waiting to cross the road at the time he crossed. As the car hit him and flung him high into the air and over the car, they saw everything that happened.

There were two women and one man who saw everything, but once the old man hit the ground the two women turned around and walked away as if nothing had happened. From the video it appears that only the man dropped his umbrella and moved across the road to help the victim.

I find this typical of many people today who are simply not willing to help others in trouble because they think it has nothing to do with them. I am truly sickened by this uncaring attitude of people today who think that if it does not affect them directly its none of their business. How can anyone be so heartless as to ignore an old man lying critically injured in the street? The least they could have done was take the time to call an ambulance!

Whatever happened to our Christian values?

Gay Cake Anyone?

Posted in Britain, Christianity, David Cameron, Equality, European Union, Gays, Human Rights, Justice, News, Religion with tags , , , , on 09/07/2014 by floroy1942

Christian views, this time in Northern Ireland, are once again coming under fire from the ‘gay’ community, and all because of a cake of all things. As a Christian myself I find these consistent attacks on anyone with religious beliefs deplorable, but it seems the homosexuals among us are still determined to hammer home their message that they must be accepted as ‘normal’.

Daniel McArther

Daniel McArthur

It is disgraceful that these people can run roughshod over anyone with religious beliefs, and the Law, such as it is, sides with these people every time. The interesting part is that ‘Gay’ marriage is still not legal in Northern Ireland. Thanks goodness, at least the government there have more sense than our bent politicians!

According the reports, a civic event was planned in Bangor Castle Town Hall, County Down, to mark International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. The gay rights activists ordered a special cake from Ashers Baking Company in County Antrim in Ireland, but on seeing that it promoted homosexuality the company turned down the order and refunded the client.

Queer CakeIt would seem the cake was to have a picture of Bert and Ernie, two Sesame Street puppets, along with a logo from the Belfast-based campaign group called “Queerspace”. Due to its homosexual reference the bakery turned down the order because it went against their Christian values.

This refusal got the homosexual community in a ‘tizzwoz’ and they contacted the Equality Commission who have written to the company with a threat of legal action.  So once again the Christian Faith is coming under attack by this bunch of perverts, and you can guess what the outcome will be – again!

Peter and HazelMary Bull Who Lost Everything

Peter and HazelMary Bull Who Lost Everything

We have already seen the total destruction of the livelihood of two devout Christians who would not allow two homosexuals to share a room in their hotel. I refer of course to the case of Peter and HazelMary Bull who turned down a homosexual couple because their policy was not to allow any unmarried guests to share a room. The resultant court case against them completely ruined their lives and left them penniless when they lost their business.

Yet another travesty:

Of the current case, the firm’s 24-year-old general manager, Daniel McArthur, said marriage in Northern Ireland is “still defined as being a union between one man and one woman and said his company was taking a stand”. He added in an on-line statement that “The directors and myself looked at it and considered it and thought that this order was at odds with our beliefs. It certainly was at odds with what the Bible teaches, and on the following Monday we rang the customer to let him know that we couldn’t take his order.”

The company has now consulted with the Christian Institute for advice on how to deal with the case. They have in turn said they will give whatever legal assistance is required.

Councillor Andrew Muir

Alliance Councillor Andrew Muir – who hosted the civic event is reported as saying: “Businesses should not be able to pick and choose who they serve. There would not be any debate if the cake had depicted an anti-racism or anti-ageism slogan, nor should it require intervention from the Equality Commission for this cake for Anti-Homophobia Day. It is ridiculous for this bakery to suggest that they would have to endorse the campaign.”

Gay Rights Promoter Gavin Boyd

Gay Rights Promoter Gavin Boyd

Gavin Boyd, a Rainbow Project gay rights campaigner said on BBC Radio Ulster: “It is because of sexual orientation that the company decided not to print this. The law is really clear. You cannot pick and choose which sides of the law apply to you. If you are a company that is trading out there in the market place and someone comes to you, you can’t pick and choose whether or not to fulfil that order based on their sexual orientation. I would encourage companies to make business decisions that would be in the best interests of the profit margins of the companies.”

My question to that is: Why not if it goes against your Christian beliefs? Are the basic Christian values of morality, love, kindness and respect so outdated that they no longer apply in our modern world? Having said that, I know they mean nothing to many in society these days but that does not mean a bunch of perverts should be able to run roughshod over the teachings in the  Bible for their own sordid ends.

Colin Hart

Colin Hart

The Christian Institute’s director, Colin Hart, said of the case: “The Government repeatedly failed to listen to members of the public, lawyers, constitutional experts even its own MPs when they called for safeguards to protect those who back traditional marriage, whether at work or in business. All the McArthurs’ want is to run their bakery according to their Christian beliefs. There won’t be many situations where they need to turn down an order but this is obviously one of them. No-one should be forced to use their creative skills to promote a cause which goes against their consciences. Imbalanced equality laws are making it increasingly hard for people, especially Christians.”

Because of all these Equality and Human Rights laws we have reached a stage where Christians have no rights at all, and their beliefs are being trampled on at will by any pervert who does not get his own way! British companies are being forced to accept ‘gays’ whether they want to or not or run the risk of ending up in court in a trial in which the Judge will always find for the depraved. This is not Justice in any shape or form but a more ‘like it or lump it’ approach.

I once thought Great Britain to be a Christian country but that is no longer so, despite what Cameron says. The Christian faith is being trampled in the dust by these perverts who see their disgusting activities comparable to that of normal people. The sad thing is, the government is too weak-willed to see what is happening and do something about it.

The Slow Death Of Christianity And Its Values In Britain.

The Slow Death Of Christianity And Its Values In Britain.

Time after time such cases have been brought before the courts, and in every one the judgement goes against Christianity. The lives of good honest Christians are being totally ruined by these perverts, who demand they be accepted as being the same as everyone else while practicing their vile perverted habit. It would seem that to be a devout Christian in Britain today is more like a punishment rather than the uplifting experience it once was.

Christian Britain - Well, At Least There Are A Few Of Us Left!

Christian Britain – Well, At Least There Are A Few Of Us Left!

So long as these ridiculous laws are in place, or at least not administered properly, we are on an express train to hell! If this keeps up, this country will no longer be referred to as Great Britain but will become Great Britanal! (Work it out).

May the Almighty save us from these anal monsters!

Now It’s Official – Gays Are More Important Than Religion!

I have just read with profound sadness, a report about a Derby England couple who have had their application to become foster parents thrown out of court because of their christian belief homosexuality is a sin.

Mr. & Mrs Johns

The couple, Mr and Mrs Johns, have successfully fostered fifteen children through the 90’s and given every one a good home, but according to the social worker handling their latest application, they cannot be granted another child because they could not tell that child it is acceptable to be homosexual. This is in direct contradiction to their Pentecostal faith, and is a view held by most good christians.

They approached the court to have the Social Services ruling overturned, but were told by the judge Lord Justice Mundy and Mr. Justice Beaton, (Quote): “our conclusions that the attitudes of potential foster carers to sexuality are relevant when considering an application for approval and as to the effect of the decisions of the Court of Appeal in Islington London Borough Council v Ladele (Liberty intervening) [2009] EWCA Civ 1357, and McFarlane v Relate Avon Limited [2010] EWCA Civ 880, we have also concluded that we should not grant permission”.So there it is out in the open at last!

Although the judges stated that no ‘clear evidence’ had been submitted by either side, and I must say I think their lawyer did not do a good job, they stated clearly that it was not a legal question as to the validity of christians to foster children, but more their refusal, on faith grounds, to acknowledge the legitimacy of homosexuality.

But why should a christian be forced to go against their faith by promoting sexual deviance to a child, just so they can act as foster parents?

Talking to reporters outside the court in London Mrs Johns is quoted as saying: “All we wanted was to offer a loving home to a child in need. We have a good track record as foster parents. We have been excluded because we have moral opinions based on our faith and we feel sidelined because we are Christians with normal, mainstream, Christian views on sexual ethics. We are prepared to love and accept any child. All we were not willing to do was to tell a small child that the practice of homosexuality was a good thing.”

‘Mummy’ and Daddy???

It seems that to be a christian with moral values in today’s ‘enlightened’ society, you are less worthy than a homosexual. Your christian beliefs are not worth a fig when even the law turns on you and says  (basically) homosexual rights are more important than yours. This is just another nail in the coffin for right-minded people who believe homosexuality is a sin in the eyes of God, but have no rights under the reverse discriminatory laws that rule our lives.

As with the Penzance hotel couple of a short while ago, See my post:

https://floroy1942.wordpress.com/2011/01/19/when-human-rights-go-too-far/

the basic rights of a good christian couple have been trampled upon to glorify this base and disgusting practice, which with its current acceptance is destined to corrupt many future generations of children.

I know many will not agree with this statement, but it is my firm belief that due to the current ‘social acceptance’, the numbers of homosexual people in our society will skyrocket in years to come and bring with it many problems.

In the vanguard will be children who have been raised by homosexual couples, for despite what some pundits say, children are extremely perceptive to their surroundings and the home atmosphere, and in my opinion, many will turn out the same for no child can have a normal upbringing under these circumstances.

Experts predict that by 2050 Britain will be a Muslim state, and with the current birthrate of Muslims far outstripping our own, this is a distinct possibility.

I suppose the one good thing Islamization will bring with it is the Muslim hatred of homosexuality, for they make ‘no bones about it’, homo’s are hung without any qualms. When they take over the deviants will be running for the border.

But for today, it is sad when the rights of good, moral christians can be so callously cast aside in a british court to support the ever-increasing demands of a devious minority. May God help us all!

The Erosion of Christian Human Rights

Posted in Britain, Christianity, England, Human Rights, Insanity, Modern World, Religion, UK, UN, United Nations with tags , , , , , , , , on 08/05/2010 by floroy1942

Why  does everyone seem to have human rights except christians in today’s world? Christians are once again under attack for their faith in England, this time by The National Secular Society (NSS) who have been in a long-running battle with Bideford Council, and are now threatening to take them to the European Court because the age-old traditional saying of prayers before a council meeting convenes human rights.

Bideford – Council Under Fire

The moment of prayer before a council meeting is a tradition that goes back centuries, but is now under attack because it ‘breaches the human rights of atheist and agnostic council members’. Well I say, what about the human rights of Christians? The NSS is determined to halt the practice through judicial means and will not be satisfied with just winning against Bideford, but will, it is believed, go on to have the practice banned in all council chambers up and down the country.

Founder of the NSS

This society, formed in 1866 by Charles Bradlaugh, was intended to combat Christian religious privilege, separate church and state, and promote secularism. Currently, the society campaigns for the disestablishment of the Church of England, an end to tax exemption for religious schools, and public funding of priests who work in jails, hospitals, and the armed forces. They are also deeply involved in the abolition of the blasphemy laws and are intent on keeping religion out of human rights, healthcare, legislation and equality issues. And now, they have Bideford council in their sights! According to councillors, they have been chosen because it is not a rich council.

The sad thing is these people don’t belong to any faith, they are agnostics and atheists, and because of their lack of faith, it seems they think they can restrict the practice ours. It is without doubt the right of any person to be an atheist or agnostic, but equally so, it the right of any individual to believe and practice that belief. Britain is after all a christian country.

The act of prayers before a council meeting is a way for councillors to seek guidance to do the right thing for the people they represent, and yes, it is based on christian beliefs and values, but those who do not believe do not have to take part. To quote the words of a christian councillor, Tony Inch; “those who do not wish to take part can twiddle their thumbs”.

According to Keith Porteous Wood, Executive Director of the NSS, councillors should pray at home or in church but not at meetings (he now wishes to tell us when we can and cannot pray?); “It is not appropriate in modern-day Britain for prayers to form an integral part of council meetings”. It all comes down to a small number of people wishing to force their views on the majority and put an end to yet another age-old tradition, when the simple answer is just to not take part. Those who value their christian faith and traditions can take a moment or so to pray, but it doesn’t mean the non-believers have to. They can out of respect for the human rights of the believers wait just a moment or two with their own thoughts while the prayers are concluded.

The most annoying part of situations like this is people who play the ‘Human Rights’ card in an effort to deny others theirs!

Standing Up For Christian Rights

The former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Carey has voiced his concern at yet another attack on christian values in Britain by calling it an “attack on freedom”, and he is quite right. He said; “The centuries long tradition of saying prayers before council meetings is simply an acknowledgement of the important role the Christian faith plays in civic life. The attempt to rule such prayers as discriminatory is an attack on freedom and a cynical manoeuvre to drive public expression of faith from national as well as local life.”

The Human Rights Charter 1948

The Human Rights Charter, the world’s response to the atrocities that took place during the Holocaust of WW2, was signed in 1948 at the UN but is sadly used today by any crackpot, fringe group, terrorist, criminal or the insane to get what they want at any cost. Its misuse is eroding all the nobler values that have stood the human race in good stead for centuries. Now, just because you don’t like what Joe Blogg’s does because it doesn’t fit with what you think he should be doing, take him to court to satisfy your own twisted ideals.

It’s all wrong folks! Our higher moral standards, religion, system of government, our very way of life is being dictated by a handful of self-righteous, self-centred individuals who think they can use the law for their own ends just because what we do does not fit with their ideals.

It doesn’t matter what noble purpose our forefathers had when creating these ‘Rights’ for the people, once the edifice starts to crumble through gross misuse it will not be long before the whole building collapses, and where will we be then; Back in the Dark Ages?

May God help us see the light of reason.
