Yet Another Child Murderer Arrested

It would seem the cycle of violence on the streets of Britain has no end. Just a week after Ann Mcguire was stabbed to death in front of her class by a fifteen year-old pupil, now a thirteen year-old has been arrested for the murder of Martin Thomas in his home in South West London.

The Face Of Britain Today?

The Face Of Britain Today?

Child and youth crime, particularly murder, has become an epidemic that no-one seems capable of stopping. Not the government, the police, schools or parents, so where is it all going to end?

The one thing that angers me, is that no-one is willing to step forward and admit that changes made to British Law many years ago, which have allowed children to do as they please without fear of proper punishment, are to blame.

I do not hear any of the ‘Goody-Goody’ PC brigade stepping forward to announce that their anti-smacking policies were wrong, and admit that children need proper discipline during their formative years. It seems the public do not agree with these idiots.

Oh No! All we hear from them is a deathly silence, because they cannot accept the fact that they were wrong in banning physical punishment in homes and schools for recalcitrant children.  When murder cases such as these come up, which they do all too often, the PC brigade can be found hiding under the nearest table.

Well Known Child Killers

Well Known Child Killers

Since that time children have come to know, as children do, that they can do more or less what they choose and no-one can touch them. Since the reforms were pushed through we have killers as young as nine and ten going through the judicial system for murder, some of which were most foul.

Weapons Collected In UK Schools

Weapons Collected In UK Schools

Many children now take weapons to school, knives, axes, and even guns have been found in the possession of children as young as eight years-old. Gangs of hooded youth hang around on our street corners sometimes brandishing their knives etc at passersby, and the general public are supposed to feel safe?

We, the voting public, are constantly told by our political leaders that they will be ‘Tough on Crime’, and just before election time they say that crime figures are going down. Well tell that to Ann McGuire and Martin Thomas!

Murdered His Mother

Murdered His Mother

We have over that last twenty years or so bred a generation of animals who think they can take whatever they want, do whatever they want, and behave in any way they want. And who is to stop them, the politicians, the police, their parents?

The judicial system in the UK has become a farce because of PC Brigade interference, telling us we must put curtains on the windows of cells to hide the bars because we might ‘traumatize‘ the inmates etc. etc! Prisons are like five-star hotels and sentencing has become a huge joke. So even when these little rats are caught they have no fear.

PC Brigade At It Again.

PC Brigade At It Again.

I for one would love to see these ‘high and mighty’ PC Brigade members on the receiving end of youth brutality today. I would like to see them robbed at knife-point, or see a few of them threatened in their own home by a gun or knife wielding young thug. I wonder if then they may finally realize that all the measures they forced on us so long ago ‘just ain’t working‘!

Part of the problem today is that because of all these anti-smacking rules etc., many parents have just given up on disciplining their children. No more do you hear parents laying down the law like telling a ten or twelve year-old: “I want you home by seven-thirty and not a minute later”. Travel the streets of many towns and cities and you see young kids on street corners up to eleven or twelve o’clock at night. The parents of many children just don’t bother about what their children get up to or where they are. It’s more like ‘out of sight, out of mind’.

Child Crime By Location

Child Crime By Location

When the anti-smacking laws came in many parents just gave up on disciplining their children because they knew that if ‘little Johnny’ ran to the police station and complained that their mother or father had hit him, the parents could find themselves in a cell.

It has all gone way too far for me, and as each generation gets older and have children of their own, I can see complete anarchy in the streets of Britain.

May your bullet-proof vest never be penetrated!

Does Your Child Take A Knife To School?

Posted in Britain, Child Discipline, Children, England, English Schools, News, Parenting, Primary Schools, Teen Violence, UK with tags , , , , on 29/04/2014 by floroy1942

It seems inconceivable that the British culture can so stoop to the levels where violence rules and our children are arming themselves to go to school. The number of knife and other crimes is rising steadily in the nations schools with children as young as eight being caught with an offensive weapon. A survey discovered that as many as 1000 children have been found  with weapons at school in the last three years.

Ready For School

Ready For School

These range from handguns, to air pistols, meat cleavers, axes, knives and even cutthroat razors. One child even had a taser, and you have to ask where did they get that from? From reports, many parents are complaining that schools do not do enough to stop the flow of weapons in the schools, but in my view, why should they? Those who are ultimately responsible for their child’s upbringing are the very ones who are complaining. What kind of parent allows a child to take a meat cleaver or an axe to school, let alone those with guns of various types. Their answer will be of course that they knew nothing about it, and then the big question comes: Why not?

It has been suggested that all schools have metal detectors placed at the entrances, which means we will eventually go down the same road as many schools in the USA. As a tax payer, are you prepared for the billions that would cost? The scary thing is that this survey does not cover the whole country for more than half of the police forces involved refused to release their figures. Forget not that the same situation exists in many colleges and universities in the country.

Young Girl's Also Carry Knives

Young Girl’s Also Carry Knives

You should ask yourself why children feel it necessary to take a weapon to school? The main answer is that all the other kids have one! But another over-driving factor is the fear that they may be attacked by another child. So where has all this hostility come from? We have bred a generation who refuse to obey all laws of decency and respect, simply because they were never taught to. In their world ‘it’s every teen/child for himself’. You may wonder where the violent streak in today’s teens has come from, well, you need look no further than the violent games they play on the computer for hours on end. Playing these games when not realizing they are just games often leads to a violent streak in children.

If parents had taken more time to teach their offspring how to behave, and to show respect for the laws of the land we would never have sunk so low. But as it is, many parents are more interested in being down the pub and the children can look after themselves. Many children stroll into the house at whatever time they feel like and nothing is said, no-one ever sits them down at an early age and teaches them right from wrong and how to behave. You can ask many parents at weekends, or of an evening, where their children are and they have no clue.

Killed By A Child In Her Own Classroom

Killed By A Child In Her Own Classroom

Just this week a teacher was stabbed to death by a pupil in front of the class. Anne McQuire, had served in the teaching profession for more than forty years and was due to retire in September of this year. She was much loved by those she taught, but that did not save her from a fifteen-year-old with a savage mentality. So how much further are we to go down this road.

This culture of violence has blossomed ever since uncaring parents passed on the upbringing of their children to child-minders and nursery’s, expecting them to do their job for them. Few children today have a proper upbringing because many parents do not take the trouble to teach their children right from wrong. And please Ladies, don’t give me that old excuse; “I have to go to work!” That is part of the problem, children coming home from school to an empty house with no supervision of their activities at all. Many parents today are happy if the child is watching TV or playing computer games because at least they are quiet and out from underfoot.

Young Thugs

Young Thugs

These days the newspapers are always full of children as young as eleven committing murder, especially of old folk during an attempted robbery. Because of the current laws they rarely get a proper sentence because of their age. We are breeding a generation of young thugs in many parts of the country, and one thing is certain, without someone putting a stop to it life will be hell in ten years time. Since the seventies, violent crime, even that involving children, has spiraled through the roof compared to fifty years ago. You can forget the government’s crime statistics as so much propaganda because it does not seem to include child crime which has been on the rise during the past ten years.  Do not forget, when children think they can get away with something they will go for the whole nine yards. It is time parents started taking responsibility themselves for the upbringing of their children instead of passing it on to others.

Britain and the Devil’s Children

Posted in Britain, Child Discipline, Children, England, Parenting, Teen Violence, Teens, UK with tags , , , , on 14/04/2012 by floroy1942

Amazing how some young children can become monsters, and should perhaps have been strangled at birth. Three stories of occurrences with children caught my eye this week and prompted this post. When it comes to teenagers in Britain, most people are afraid of them, especially if they are hanging around on the street corner ahead wearing the inevitable hood. They are totally unpredictable and may let you pass unmolested, or they may on occasions pull a knife on you. It all depends on their mood and how they see you.

Children are our little darlings and wouldn’t hurt a fly, right? Well, I have to tell you that just this last week there were three cases that I for one find shocking, and totally unacceptable.

The Dreaded Hoodie

The first concerns a 15-year-old Gainsboro’ boy who has just been sentenced to six years in prison for raping two young boys – one of whom was just five. It came out in court that the offences, which took place between April 2008 and September 2010 with a further two in January last year, first occurred when one of the victims was five years old, while another seven-year-old was repeatedly raped over a period of time. In summing up the judge said he could not avoid handing down a custodial sentence due to the repeated nature of the crime.

In another case, the mother of a young Downes Syndrome sufferer is appealing for help in a vicious hate campaign against her daughter. It seems that childhood photos of her sixteen-year-old daughter Heidi had been hi-jacked from the website of the local support group she ran, and along with others, are being used in an internet hate campaign against people with Downes Syndrome on Facebook and other sites. The mother reported the offensive images to Facebook which were eventually removed. It does however indicate how sick some youngsters are that they would post such hate-filled pages on the internet for no apparent reason other than to deeply hurt others.

In Northampton last Monday, two girls saw a group of young boys throwing a very small kitten between them like a ball, and when they got tired of the sport they tossed it from a bridge into the stream flowing underneath. Eventually, once the group departed, the girls were able to retrieve the poor animal from the water. Thankfully, it survived the ordeal and is now in the hands of the RSPCA.

Gang Violence – Girls Too!

None of these incidents are related, but it shows the kind of animals in the guise of youth we are raising these days, and makes me wonder how much further down this road to hell we are going before parents finally decide to become parents and teach their children how to behave. Britain has the highest number of child criminals in Europe and the numbers are rising.

Apart from handing out tougher sentences the government can do very little about curbing youth crime, for the true responsibility lies with the parents alone. They cannot blame the government or the schools, for it is their legal and moral duty to raise their offspring to become responsible citizens in today’s society. In this many are sadly failing and have done so for years, hence the problems we have today. It is no excuse for a parents to yell that they cannot control their kids because they are too wild, for if that is the case they started trying far too late and are not putting enough energy into it.

I have always been convinced that a child must know who the boss is in the house from the cradle. It is no good allowing a child to dictate things for the first two years because; “well, he/she is just a baby” because by the time they get to three and you try applying the discipline you will surely find it is far too late. This happened to some good friends of ours, for now their life is hell and the daughter is only four-years-old. Now she throws tantrums and screams her head off until they give way and let her have what she wants. I would never venture to say that she will eventually grow up into ‘a bad ‘un’, but the possibility is there.

Advice for knuckleheads:

Saturday Night in Any English Town

Now we sit with a generation of youth who think they can get away with murder, literally, and can go out on a Friday and Saturday night and get paralytic drunk without any fear of retribution for their actions. So how bad is it going to get when they become parents and their children are growing up? I leave you with that thought!

Child Crime in Britain – What is Wrong?

Posted in Britain, Child Abuse, Child Discipline, Children, England, English Schools, Justice, Modern World, Teens, UK with tags , , , , on 28/01/2009 by floroy1942

Today, we hear once again on the BBC News that a fifteen-year-old has been arrested for killing someone. It has almost become a daily occurrence in Britain, and yet the police and politicians seem powerless to stop it. Why are we, as a society, allowing children as young as eleven to carry guns and knives, and commit murder and rape? Where has Britain gone wrong?

The public seem intent on blaming the government, as always. Whenever something happens it is easy to blame the country’s leaders, but instead, we should be looking inward, perhaps the fault lies closer to home!

It is fair to say that in most deprived/poor areas, where the majority of violent crime comes from, parents have little or no control over their children. It is also true they have very little time for their children’s upbringing, for it is usually necessary for both parents to work in order to make ends meet. So how can they have time for their off-spring?

But is this an excuse? I don’t think so, because the phenomenon of two working parents is seen as much in middle-class areas as in the poorer areas, but the crime statistics show most violent crime is committed by people from the latter. The fact that many of these child criminals come from deprived areas is often used as an excuse by the so-called ‘Experts’ and the ‘Bleeding Heart Brigade’ (BHB’s). To that I say ‘Rubbish’! The one thing the kids of today do not get from their parents, or anyone else, is discipline, especially in their formative years.

Partly to blame are the BHB’s. Stupid, mindless individuals who have failed to make a success of anything else in their miserable lives, but feel they must contribute to society by stirring up, among other things, race hatred by having nursery rhymes banned because they contain the word ‘Black’. It’s true! It happened. Remember ‘Ba-Ba Black Sheep’!

The BHB’s gave us bans on discipline in schools, and then included the home environment. “You may not smack a child because you might hurt him/her” What a bunch of crap! Now, no-one may hit a child except another child???

With the introduction of these laws, discipline in schools was the first thing to go, and now more than fifty percent of teachers have been physically attacked by their pupils, and three out of every five children leaving school cannot read or write properly, and as for Maths, forget it. Duh!

Next they introduced laws to ban smacking in the home, as if they hadn’t done enough already! How many parents do you know who say they have no control over their children? Children are not stupid! They find out very quickly when they can do anything they please, and Mummy and Daddy can do nothing about it. So where does that leave us? Today!

Also to blame is the loss of family life, and a general erosion of a parents commitment to their children. We have become a ‘Me First’ society. These things have been a creeping disease in Britain since the sixties when we had all that ‘Flower-Power’ and ‘Free Love’ crap. I know, I’m from that generation!

We have now reached an era where children go unpunished for any infraction of the rules of decency or morality, and often escape the law because of their age. What you have to ask yourself is this. Where do we go from here? What is tomorrow going to be like when the current youth are parents themselves? Total Anarchy?

So where does that leave us, and what do we do about the problem? Many say bring back National Service and put them all in the Army, but the trouble is, the Army don’t want anything to do with it and who can blame them. I suppose they could form Penal Battalions like the Nazi’s did during WW2 but that wouldn’t help either.

Perhaps a compromise might work. There are sufficient closed down Army Camps in the country, so why not open them up under the Prison Service and turn them into Boot/Training Camps? I am sure there are sufficient ex-military drill instructors who would relish the chance of cutting loose on fresh meat!

Just imagine these misfits getting out of bed at 06.00hrs every morning, and parading ready for the days work. A bit of ‘spit and polish’ never did anyone any harm. I should know I spent twelve years in the RAF and went through it too.

Some regular military training would teach them the discipline required for daily life on the outside, something they have never had, and the opportunity would be taken to teach them a trade that will give them a fair chance in society.

It would require major investment by the Government, but how do you get them to even consider such a proposal? The question was raised half-heartedly some years ago but it died a silent death after only a short while.

What is cheaper? Must we keep things the way they are now, spending millions on a losing battle, or give the wayward youth a goal for the future, and eventually stamp out youth crime altogether in successive generations? In the long term I suspect the latter! I leave you to decide.

Keep the faith,

Roy
