The Two Love Birds

America it seems is now wielding the ‘big stick’ in the Brexit campaign in a shameless effort to get Britain to stay in the European Union. What this has to do with America is beyond me, for it is something the British people must decide for themselves.

But Obama has waded in by saying that should we leave, any trade agreements with America could take ten years to be ratified – Why? To my mind, any trade agreements we have with the USA have nothing whatsoever to do with Europe, for it would be between them and us.

This is just out and out blackmail to help Cameron in his efforts to convince the British people that we should stay in the Union. Now Hillary Clinton has waded into the fray by saying that she too believes we should stay.

To say that these revelations are annoying is putting it mildly, but the American government would control the world if it had a chance, and this is just a another example of their meddling.

I apologise to the American people for this outburst, for this is not a slight against them, for I guess they know as well as I do how their government operates. The USA may well be the most powerful country in the western world, but there is no excuse for throwing its weight around in things that do not concern them.

I may not be a politician or even a businessman, but I fail to see what influence Britain’s separation from the E.U. has to do with trade agreements between our two countries. We have been working together ever since the Second World War and there is no evidence of problems with trade agreements that are mutually beneficial to us both. They are between Britain and the USA and have nothing whatsoever to do with the rest of Europe.

178408_600There can be little doubt that the way the E.U. is heading, i.e. a single state controlled from Brussels is not a good thing, for the members of the European Council have already proven their incompetence time and time again with their stupid rules and regulations.

Our Justice system has been all but destroyed by the interference from the Human Rights Commision, and our country is being overrun by immigrants because we no longer have control of our borders. This is just two of the most important examples.

National government control in all European countries is slowly being eroded away by those idiots in Brussels and to what purpose, to form the United States of Europe under their sole control.

Their total incompetence has also been for all the world to see over the past year with the refugee crisis that has caused major problems for every country in the Union.

Britain needs to get out from under the stranglehold that is tightening around  every European nation, and you can be almost certain that should Britain leave, many other countries will follow.

There is already unrest among the common people in countries like France, Germany, Holland, Sweden and many others, all caused by the refugee crisis. This is a sure sign that given the chance, many would vote ‘out’ because it would mean they can once again control their own borders.

The European Union was a fine idea when it first started because it meant real cooperation between member states, but when you consider that the people in Brussels have got ‘too big for their boots’, the whole plan is falling apart. The amount of control they wish to maintain over member states is becoming intolerable.

I sincerely hope that the people of Britain will not be swayed by Obama’s comments during his stay in the country, for it is up to each and every individual to make up their own minds and vote accordingly.

Should Britain Leave The European Union?

How Things Have Changed

How Things Have Changed

Much has been said and written on this topic, but eventually everyone must make up their own minds when the subject is put to a vote in 2017. To be honest, I cannot think of a reason for waiting until that date, for it could just as well be done next year, but there again, I am not a politician (thank goodness).

There have been many arguments passed back and forth supporting both sides of the vote, and it is clear that David Cameron is in favour of staying in.

Thanks TONY!

Thanks TONY!

I too can imagine us staying in but on two conditions, (1) that we get rid of the yoke of the Human Rights Charter, and (2) that we decide who we let into the country and not Brussels. Given agreement on these two issues I think it would be beneficial for the country to stay in the E.U.

However, is that likely to happen? Not on yer life! So this means the only other choice left to us is to leave. For far too long the bureaucrats in Brussels have told us what we can and cannot do, and it has to stop.

Yea Right!

Yea Right!

Our Justice system, that has been exemplary for many centuries has become a farce, with murderers among others getting ridiculously short sentences, and we have seen the rise of the ‘Goody-Goody Brigade’ in Britain thanks to the Human Rights Charter, who think for example that even killers have more rights than the victim or the bereaved family. Hell, we cannot even deport immigrant career criminals for crying out loud!

On the other side of things they dictate to us how many immigrants we must let into the country until our benefits system, hospitals and housing are swamped. Meanwhile, our people are not getting the help they need because of this.

They Already Are!

They Already Are!

I certainly do not envy Cameron when it comes time to making the decision for it will be hard, but he must listen to the voice of the people, and it depends on how much they think of the choices open to us and what decisions they make.

Business in the U.K. is divided on the option of going it alone without the E.U., but from reports it is clear that many are changing their minds.

Argument And Counter-Argument

Argument And Counter-Argument

It was reported yesterday that over 1,000 businesses, and donors to the Conservative Party, now back leaving Europe. This comes on top of many high-profile M.P’s also backing the move. It is said that Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith and Chris Grayling, leader of the House of Commons, are most likely to quit rather than support continued membership.

In the beginning the idea of a unified Europe was a good idea, but like all good ideas, it has been taken to extremes where today you cannot even breathe without the E.U. agreeing. It has become too bureaucratic and too powerful for its own good.

Immigration Figures

Immigration Figures

The big question is, if Britain does decide to leave will other nations follow and we see the end of the European Union? That is without doubt a possibility.

Taking immigration as just one example, more and more countries are becoming dissatisfied with the E.U. stance on this subject. Not only Britain, but also Hungary, Macedonia, Italy, Greece and many other smaller nations are being pressured into taking more and more refugees, and the simple truth is, they don’t want to because they can’t!

Where They Come From

Where They Come From

Britain has been told by the E.U. in Brussels that it cannot block the entry of people from other E.U. nations, like Poland among others, who want to come here to work, including Romanian Gypsies. Currently we have over a million Polish working in Britain, and our streets are filled with gypsies begging on our streets. Our countryside is being overrun by ‘travellers’ who move onto any area of open ground, beg and steal from the local inhabitants and leave the land looking like a rubbish tip.

Polish Integrate And Work

Polish Integrate And Work

I applaud the fact that the Polish people come here to work for a living instead off living of our benefits, but the money they make here goes straight back to their families in Poland. And what about all the British people who cannot find a job because the country is overrun by foreign nationals. As for the gypsies, they are a curse wherever they go, but do not confuse them with the real Romanian people who are caring and hard-working.

Something Has To Change!

Something Has To Change!

If as a nation we are forced to accept tens of thousands more immigrants annually the whole structure of the country will collapse. Our unemployment figures are way too high and cannot be sustained, and the money poured into social welfare is rising steadily until it too will be unsustainable.

No-one Will Want To Leave Despite Government Action

No-one Will Want To Leave Despite Government Action

I find it totally unacceptable that immigrants who are granted asylum here are also given British passports, making them British citizens. When the wars in the Middle East and Africa are eventually quelled, none of these people will want to go back home and we will be stuck with them. The government should be issuing temporary visas to these people, not passports that allow them to stay indefinitely. Some immigrants interviewed during a TV report were asked if they would go back home once the trouble was ended, all replied with an emphatic NO!

Open Your EyesAll this will eventually mean the end of the United Kingdom as a Christian country, but can the politicians see it? Can they hell! I am just glad I will not be around to see the demise of this once great country.

At some time in the future this all has to stop, but it certainly won’t so long as we remain part of the E.U. under the current rules.

Cameron And The Human Rights Act

A Man With A Hard Job Ahead Of Him.

A Man With A Hard Job Ahead Of Him.

The European Human Rights Act (EHRA) has for years been a bone of contention in the United Kingdom. Now it seems that David Cameron is trying to get it replaced with a British Human Rights Act (BHRA). I wish him luck, but it seems it will be a hard road to follow.

Already some Tory backbenchers are rebelling against the decision, some after having quiet conversations with Nicola Sturgeon who is dead against the idea. She is very busy sowing the seeds of dissension among Cameron’s backbenchers to back up her own refusal to accept the planned legislation.

Nicola Sturgeon - A Woman Who Knows What She Wants And How To Get It!

Nicola Sturgeon – A Woman Who Knows What She Wants And How To Get It!

What some of these people do not seem to realize is that immigrant criminals, and even British criminals are making a joke of British justice by using this act to escape proper punishment, or in the case of many immigrants, to evade deportation. The list of problems caused by this Act is endless, and it fails to ensure that justice is done in many areas.

Before Tony Blair brought in the HRA in 1998 there was nothing wrong with the justice system in this country. It worked well, for all classes of people. Justice was done and more importantly, seen to be done. Now we have a pot pourri of laws that allow many criminals to escape proper justice because of the dictates from Strasbourg.

The HRA is intended to protect ‘right to life, privacy, and free speech’ among others, but when you look at life in the U.K. today, at least free speech has been successfully stifled by Tony Blair’s Race Laws which protect immigrants. Say a single word against immigrants on the street today and you are immediately arrested. But as we all know, the reverse is not true!

Rights For Whom?

Rights For Whom?

There have been many cases of immigrant career criminals that our courts have not been able to deport because of Article 8 of the EHRA, which is the so-called ‘Right to Family Life’. So we are forced to allow them to stay and they continue with their chosen profession.

As I have often said, it took more than ten years before Britain could deport the two Muslim Imams who were recruiting impressionable young Muslims to go and fight for the Jihad. You may remember Abu Qatada and Abu Hamsa. Ten years of constant appeals to the Human Rights Court in Strasbourg about one thing or another, but we won eventually, even if it did cost the tax payer many millions.

Aso Mohammed Ibrahim Will Be Allowed To Remain In The UK Despite Leaving Amy Houston, 12 Dying In The Road.

Aso Mohammed Ibrahim Was Allowed To Remain In The UK Despite Leaving Amy Houston, 12 Dying In The Road.

There is also another story I wrote about an immigrant career criminal who ran over a small girl with his car. He stopped, got out of the car and looked at her, but instead of trying to help he drove over her with his rear wheels and sped off. Needless to say she died. The Justice system wanted to deport him because of his continuous criminal activities but couldn’t because he claimed a right to family life with an English girl he married. They did not live in the same town let alone the same house, but Strasbourg told Britain we could not deport him. Such is the Human Rights Act in all its glory!

It is true that there is much good in the Act for it protects many otherwise vulnerable people, but there are areas where it goes much too far, especially in the area of crime. Now the Court wants to stop us sentencing serial murderers and rapists to life imprisonment for example! They say we must review the case every so often with a view to releasing these maniacs!

The Fate Of British Justice

The Fate Of British Justice

Believe me when I say we would be much better off without this millstone around our necks, and introduce a proper Bill of Rights for the U.K. One that at least ensures that justice can be done as in the old days, but at the same time protects the vulnerable. What we have now is totally inadequate, for it can be misused in many ways by those wishing to escape justice.

THIS Is Punishment? You Must Be Joking!

Posted in Britain, Conservative Party, England, European Union, Human Rights, Justice, News, Political Correctness, Prison, Riot with tags , , , , on 30/03/2015 by floroy1942

If you commit a crime you go to prison right? Prison is supposed to be a punishment for the criminal to ensure that he changes his ways and becomes a better citizen, right? Well, if you thought that you would be very wrong!

A news item released today has once again revealed that prisoners in our jails have a better life than you or I, and there is no such thing as punishment for crimes committed in this ‘enlightened’ age! The whole episode makes a mockery of British Justice.

It concerns a ‘drug lord’ who was sentenced to five years but is living the high life in prison with all the comforts of home, and many you would love to have. Jason Crocker, 36 was caught by the police selling drugs, and these are photographs of his cell that he took himself and posted on Facebook:

How on earth are prisoners living in the lap of luxury supposed to feel remorse for their actions and become reformed citizens? How on earth is living like this supposed to be a punishment?

The following are some of the public’s reactions to this article:

“How can this be allowed to happen? Surely the person(s) responsible for making these misery mongers lives comfortable in prison should disciplined and dismissed! It makes my blood boil… ”

“What the hell is the prison service up to? That governor should be sacked on the spot and someone with the balls to impose a proper regime installed. Everything in that cell that is non-regulation should be confiscated immediately as a starter.”

“What is the world coming to. this guy seems to be having a better life than me and I’ve never done a thing wrong in my life. its time the government stamped down on this and made prison what its supposed to be and that’s punishment not a life of Riley.”

“I can’t afford a games cube! I’ve never been in prison but it sounds wonderful!! Are we really allowing this to go on at the tax payers expense? He was a dirty drug dealer, destroying people’s lives for goodness knows how long & should not have anything other than a toilet in his cell. There is no deterrent in prison sentences. Make them work, bring back the harshest regime!”

I have to agree with all the sentiments above, but thanks to the Human Rights Laws from Brussels, and the ‘Goody-Goody Brigade’ here at home, we have reached a stage where there is no longer an incentive for criminals to ‘go straight’ when released.

Jason Crocker

Jason Crocker

If they get caught they receive a paltry sentence, even for murder, and then live a life of luxury behind bars at the Tax Payers expense. The only thing they miss is their freedom of movement. This is just not right, and it’s time we had a government willing and able to do something about it.

Send in the Riot Squad or Army and remove all the niceties from every cell and replace it with the standard bed and toilet, then lets see how they reform.

Prison guards should stop being ‘Mr. Nice Guy’ and be very strict, allowing only that which is necessary for living without all the comforts of home. Any guard who is caught allowing ‘contraband’ into the prison receives an automatic six months sentence and is fired from his job.

The Results Of A Prison Riot

The Results Of A Prison Riot

You can be sure there will be prison riots, but the moment trouble breaks out the Riot Squad or Army go in and sort it out. A few soldiers armed with batons and fire-hoses should be able to sort that out.

Prison Riot Squad

Prison Riot Squad

There can be little doubt that we need more prison guards who can watch the movements of prisoners at all times and quell trouble the moment it starts. A system of isolating a trouble spot in the prison is vital to stop it spreading to other wings. The answer to all prison riots is isolation and a quick response to prevent it spreading. Another essential is allowing only small groups of prisoners to move about the prison.

Work is another essential that is missing today, for it is far better to have prisoners working eight hours a day than lounging around playing snooker or watching TV. It is way past time that they made a contribution to society during their incarceration instead of living the kind of life many of us can only dream about.

Justice Is Finally Dead!

Posted in Benefits, Britain, England, European Union, Human Rights, Immigration, Justice, News, Politics, UK with tags , , , , on 18/03/2015 by floroy1942

The steady erosion of British Justice by Brussels has in my view finally reached its limit. A report out today has highlighted the fact that our judges will not extradite a killer back to his own country to face a prison sentence passed to him there. This criminal has been in trouble with the police several crimes in the U.K. and has lived off benefits since his arrival, but still our courts refuse to send him back.

The man in question is Branko Loncar aged 55, an ethnic Serb from Croatia, who with his two sons, received asylum in the U.K. in 1999.

The Killer Who Escaped Justice

The Killer Who Escaped Justice

While he lived in Croatia he and his wife had an argument after which she went out of the house, stood on a ladder, took a rope and indicated she intended to kill herself. As she stepped off the ladder, the noose tightened around her neck and rendered her unconscious, at which point Loncar shot her fourteen times with a handgun from a distance of 3-4 metres. At the time he said he was not aiming at her, but her body contained the bullets.

Initially the cause of death was determined to be by strangulation, but was accelerated by the injuries inflicted from the defendant’s gun and he was charged with murder. A pathologist declared she was already dead when the shots were fired and he was cleared of murder at his trial.

In 1999 he fled to England and claimed asylum because he was discriminated against in Croatia for being a Serb, and also suffered abuse in his village because of his wife’s death. Always ready to hear a good sob story, the British officials allowed him to stay. He has since lived in Britain on benefits and has been in trouble with the police on more than one occasion.

The British Justice Minister Has A Lot Of Work To Do!

The British Justice Minister Has A Lot Of Work To Do!

In 2000 the Croatian Courts reopened his case and four doctors said Mrs Loncar was still alive when her husband shot her. He was given a four-year prison sentence in his absence on the grounds that he ‘had an intention to kill’. By that time of course he was in England so the authorities sent an extradition request to the British Government in 2006 and the police arrested him.

This initial  request was turned down by the British Courts under Article 8 of the infamous Human Rights Act i.e. the ‘Right to Family Life’ because of his two sons. Judges also said Loncar had been in a relationship with the same partner since prior to 2006, although they do not live together’. In fact he and his ‘partner’ live separate lives 100 miles apart so I fail to see how this has any bearing on the case.

Judges - About As Useful As A Wet Rag Today

Judges – About As Useful As A Wet Rag Today

But now it is over because last week the High Court ruled in Loncar’s favour. Judges Lord Justice Aiken and Mrs Justice Popplewell, ended the long legal battle saying: “The offence for which the extradition of Mr Loncar is sought is undoubtedly a very serious one. Moreover, Mr Loncar has not led a blameless life as a British citizen. He has a caution for theft in 2012 and a conviction for common assault in 2013. Nevertheless we have reached the firm conclusion that it would be oppressive to extradite Mr Loncar by reason of the passage of time.”

So it would seem that as a killer, all you have to do is claim asylum in Britain and you will never have to answer for the crime of murder. This entire episode has proven once again the the idea of proper justice is totally dead and buried in Britain today.

It makes me wonder what excuse they would have found if Adolph Hitler had been on trial today for his war crimes! More than likely they would have given him ‘Community Service’!

Blair Still Flies In The Face Of Public Opinion

Posted in Britain, Budget Cuts, Conservative Party, England, European Union, Human Rights, Immigration, News, Politics, UK with tags , , , , on 02/11/2014 by floroy1942

Endangered SpeciesIt seems that some people never learn, and more to the point, never will. Tony Blair is one such individual, for despite overwhelming public opinion he still thinks immigration is good for the country. Last week during a conversation with Ed Miliband he said that the Labour Leader should not “chase UKIP supporters”, and insisted that curbing immigration would be “a disaster for Britain”. It seems this man will not be satisfied until immigrants have taken over the whole country and the British are wiped from the face of the earth and the country becomes ‘Britainistan’.

Blair / Miliband

Tony Blair Advises Ed Miliband

What surprises me is that after all the damage he did to this country when Prime Minister, there are still many who would put their faith in him, and the Labour Party, to run the country again.

EU Immigration Figures

EU Immigration Figures

Key Findings

Blair At Odds With Public Opinion

During an interview with Progress Magazine Blair said: “Let’s be clear: We don’t think that UKIP’s right, not on immigration and not on Europe – so the first thing you’ve got to be really careful of doing is … saying things that suggest that they’re kind of justified in their policy because what you’re actually going to do is validate their argument when in fact you don’t believe in it. Stopping immigration would be a disaster for this country and Labour must not end up chasing after the policies of a party like UKIP, who you don’t agree with, whose policies would take this country backwards economically, politically, in every conceivable way, and who, ultimately, at the heart of what they do, have a rather nasty core of prejudice that none of us believe in, which you’ve actually got to take on and fight. So the way to deal with this is to deal with it by what you believe”.

So you can see that Blair still believes in allowing millions of immigrants into the country from all across the world, and I suppose he will continue until there is standing room only. Mind you, by the time it gets that far he will have emigrated to some cosy foreign land.

Benefits Comparison - You See Why They All Want Come Here!

Benefits Comparison – You See Why They All Want To Come Here!

He seems totally uncaring of the fact that his ‘Multi-Cultural Britain’ plan has destroyed the fabric of the nation, made millions unemployed, and brought the NHS and Benefits System to their knees. The sad thing is he would like to see it continue with Labour in power once again. But what is more disturbing is that there are people out there who will still vote Labour at the next election!

But that is not all, for he believes that we should stay in the E.U. This is certainly a vexing question, because there are arguments both for and against. It would be perfectly acceptable for the U.K. to stay in the Union provided we can be released from the Directives on Human Rights, Immigration and Justice.

HeadlineThe Human Rights Laws have made a mockery of our Justice system with immigrants and criminals taking advantage of these directives to escape deportation and justice. The laws governing immigration have meant the country being flooded with E.U. migrants coming here looking for work, and in some cases for the free handouts so readily given out by the Blair regime. The E.U. has also meddled in our Justice System to the extent where judges cannot hand out proper sentences to killers and rapists, many who get off with the proverbial ‘slap on the wrist’. Also, we cannot deport immigrant criminals.

Comments Summerized

Comments Summarized

I often read the comments people post on news articles on the BBC, Yahoo etc. and it is clear that the real British public want immigration to stop because there are just too many people on this island after the Blair years, and yet he wants to keep it going!

Tony Blair still exerts influence within the Labour Party and one thing you can be sure off is that mass immigration will continue on and on if Labour win the next election. Many dominant Labour figures have already come out and said publicly that we need more immigration, so you cannot say you have not been warned.

May our once great nation, somehow, rise again.

Some Governments Never Learn

Posted in Britain, David Cameron, England, European Union, Human Rights, Justice, News, Police, Politics, Prison with tags , , , , on 30/08/2014 by floroy1942

We all know that some governments can be pig-headed and never seem to learn the lessons of the past. Well, that is certainly true of the British government currently headed by David Cameron.

Sudbury Open Prison

Sudbury Open Prison

I read with great surprise yesterday that almost 1,000 prisoners had escaped from just one prison, HMP Sudbury since 1995. These include a murderer, burglars, men convicted of assault and fraudsters. Of these, twenty-four have never been recaptured because Derbyshire Police have only now released photo’s of the escapees asking the public for help in catching them. In the intervening years their looks will have substantially changed so the chances of recapturing them are slim.

But really, 1,000 prisoners from just one prison, it makes you wonder what the total from all prisons is?

This report begs the question why was Mark Mackenner, who is serving a fifteen year sentence, sent to an open prison in the first place. Our open prisons are full of people like killers and serial rapists who should be kept in maximum security prisons, and not in low security prisons like Sudbury where they can just walk out through the front gate. There is something very wrong with our prison system.

To me it seems that we have become so lax in our handling of criminals, that it’s a wonder we bother putting them in prison at all. Behind this fiasco of course is the Goody Goody Brigade and the Human Rights Laws that are strangling proper justice in Britain.

Prisoners 'Cell' - More Luxury Than Many Families!

Prisoners ‘Cell’ – More Luxury Than Many Families!

Because of these people we now have to send prisoners to so-called ‘Open Prisons’, and allow them unsupervised days in the local community ‘to allow them to adjust to entering society again’ when near the end of their sentence. At this point the inevitable happens and they do a runner!

This practice may be good for some criminals, but the one obvious solution is missing. Has the Justice Ministry never heard of Tagging?

Day Release - Tag 'Em!

Day Release – Tag ‘Em!

In my view, no prisoner should ever take part in such a scheme unless he is willing to be electronically tagged so the authorities know exactly where he is at any given moment. Should any prisoner remove the tag, alarms will go off and the police immediately sent to the last known location to track him down. Any prisoner who does this should never be given the chance of day release again and be sent back to a maximum security prison to serve the rest of his sentence.

The big problem here is that once again the Goody Goody Brigade and the Human Rights nutters will complain that tagging infringes their Human Rights. Human Rights or not it would inevitably be cheaper than spending thousands of tax payer pounds in efforts to catch these runaways.

All these nonsensical rules about the handling of criminals has made us ultra-soft on crime, which I believe is one of  the reasons why criminality is so rife in our society. Instead of making the punishment so hard that no-one would ever want to go back to prison we handle them with cotton-wool so as not to infringe their Human Rights!

EU HRCThe upshot of this approach means they just go out and do again what got them in prison in the first place. There is no deterrent in Justice today!

I strongly believe we should withdraw from all European Community Laws and rules that infringe on our sovereign justice system and get back to the old standards that have served our country well for generations. Only then will we be able to treat criminals the way they should be treated, and make them less likely to re-offend once they have served their sentence. These so-called ‘Open Prisons’ are a joke in anyone’s language and should only be available for inmates during the last three months of their sentence, during which time they would be tagged whenever they go out into the community.

If the government do not make some hard choices very soon, we might as well turn all the prisons into youth clubs or old folks homes and give up on meting out justice.

Roy.
