People Die While Politicians Argue

The Challenge - Are Our Politicians Up To It?

The Challenge – Are Our Politicians Up To It?

How much longer must the people wait before the politicians take the inevitable action to stop the terrorist groups indiscriminately killing across the world? How long must the people of Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Nigeria and the other 139 countries in the world accept the death and destruction caused by terrorist groups operating in their countries? How much longer will the world’s politicians make excuses for not initiating decisive action together to wipe out these people?

Questions, questions, questions, but sadly no answers from those we have voted in to govern us, and look after the security of the country we live in. For far too long we have heard of the atrocities carried out by groups like Islamic State and Boko Haram, and innocent people are dying or fleeing daily.

Not A Difinitive Answer

Air Strikes – Not A Definitive Answer

True, an international coalition led by the USA, which includes five Arab states and several European countries are carrying out bombing raids on Islamic State positions in Iraq and Syria, but even the military know this is not enough. It has failed to stop the atrocities carried out by these sub-humans. I was going to say ‘animals’, but that would be an insult to animals everywhere.

Meanwhile Europe is being overwhelmed by immigrants fleeing the fighting, which is eventually going to cause many problems. Our politicians are busy talking about the crisis but its all hot air and no action.

David Cameron is the only public figure to actually say out loud that we need to attack the source of the problem and thereby stop the mass exodus from countries like Syria and Iraq. As you would expect, not one person took any notice of what he said, but he is right!

The UN - Useless

The UN – Useless

The United Nations has said and done nothing to solve this world crisis. All we hear from them is complaints from the UNHCR about how some countries are treating refugees fleeing to Europe!

This is a body formed to ensure world peace for crying out loud, but what do they do, keep their mouths shut, do nothing, and pick up their fat paychecks at the end of every month. We might as well fill the UN with fat pigs and let them roam around the building, for they would be about as useful as these incompetent idiots.

And Still They Come

And Still They Come

It is time for someone to stand up and call the nations of the world together to deal with this Islamic Jihad threat once and for all. Only when they are all dead will this threat disappear, and then the refugees can return home.

What do we have to look forward to otherwise? Years of wasted effort in fighting these people, thousands more dead, and several million refugees all wanting to come to Europe now that the precedent has been set, leading to the total destruction of the European economy.

We have had enough of silence from the UN, it is now time for positive action Ban Ki Moon!

The UN Needs A Boot Up The Backside

Posted in Afghanistan, Al Quada, America, Britain, Immigrants, Islamic State, News, Palestine, Terrorism, United Nations with tags , , , , on 05/08/2015 by floroy1942

Well, I don’t know about you, but I am going to bang the drum again in the hope of getting someone in the United Nations to do something about the Muslim problem. I have to admit that I don’t hold out much hope, but it would be nice to see them get off their fat arses and do what they are mandated to do, i.e. ensure peace in the world.

As the days trickle by more and more people are being terrorized with senseless killings by Muslim terror groups like Islamic State, Boko Haram and al Shebab etc, while at the same time the shores of Europe are being overwhelmed by the ‘swarm’ of refugees from the fighting in the Middle East and Africa.

As any sane person knows this cannot continue, but sadly it will until the United Nations decides to take positive action against the terror groups. The only people who can successfully do that is the United Nations Assembly.

The actions taken by the USA, Britain, Saudi Arabia and a few other nations is not going to stop the likes of I.S. or anyone else. Neither will the problem in Africa be solved by a few small nations taking action against the likes of Boko Haram, although it is a small step in the right direction. The only way these people will be defeated is by united action by all nations.

There are Muslim terror groups springing up all over the world, and how long before the I.S. members that have hidden themselves among the refugees to Europe combine and become active? Meanwhile the United Nations sits on its hands and verbally ‘condemns’ the vile actions of these people.

The United Nations was formed to ensure peace throughout the world and to stop conflicts before they got out of hand, but what do we have, a bunch of self-centred beaurocrats who pontificate all day long.

It is my firm believe that the world terrorist situation has gotten so far out of hand that it will take a massive international military force to shut these people down once and for all. There is no way this side of hell that fanatics like I.S. and others will lay down their arms and negotiate. It will never happen for their dreams of turning the world into one giant Muslim state will not end.

As usual it is all about power, and these groups seem to think they can subjugate the rest of the world bit by bit to their will. There is nothing worse than a religious fanatic for they are unbreakable and will never agree to negotiate.

Muslims make up 23.4% of the world’s population but these idiots still think they can rule the world. Death means nothing to them so they are willing to throw away their lives for some fabled dream that they can turn the entire world population to their will.

Sad though this is, every day hundreds of people are being killed either at the hands of these murderers, or because of them. So why are we as ‘civilized’ human beings not doing something about it?

Individual nations can do little about these problems without invading another’s territory which immediately causes hackles to rise, but the one institution that can do something is the U.N. which represents all nations.

The last time the U.N. fulfilled its mandate was during the Korean War in 1950, but in the last 65 years it has become nothing more than a talking shop. What did the U.N. do to stop the Vietnam war? What have they done to end the Palestinian Crisis? The answer is nothing!

Why these people are allowed to gather and be paid by the people is beyond me for they have achieved nothing in the past 65 years. Unless a new formation can be agreed upon by all nations that is ready and willing to tackle the worlds problems we can much better disband the U.N. and be done with it.

Anyone who thinks that the likes of I.S., Boko Haram, al Shebab and the other 176 terrorist organizations on the planet will cease their camapign of terror without the U.N. i.e. all nations, taking control are fools.

Military forces under the control of the U.N. need to root out all these killers and put them to death immediately, for only when every last one is dead will peace return to the world. It will also serve as a warning to those who think to follow in their footsteps that any such venture is doomed to failure.

If anyone has a better idea for ending this crisis I would love to hear it.

If I Hear The Word ‘Condemn’ One More Time….

Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa

Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa

I don’t know about you, but I am sick of hearing politicians world-wide ‘condemn’ acts of terrorism but doing nothing to stop them. Now after the tragic murder of the Japanese reporters  Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa by Islamic State (IS), once again they are trotting along to the nearest microphone to ‘condemn’ this latest atrocity. Despite the disturbing reason for this, it is almost becoming a game in modern politics to see who will win the race to the microphone.

I.S. Leader - Does He Look Impressed That Politicians Condemn His Actions?

I.S. Leader – Does He Look Impressed That Politicians Condemn His Actions?

Do these idiots really imagine that religious fanatics like I.S., Boko Haram, al Quada and all the rest of these killers are the slightest bit interested that they ‘condemn’ their acts of barbarism? For more than a decade the world has had to put up with terrorist groups killing innocent people in this Muslim ‘Holy War’ and still no-one has had the guts to stand up and say: Enough is enough!

Abubakar Shekau Boko Haram Leader - He Doesn't Look Impressed Either!

Abubakar Shekau Boko Haram Leader – He Doesn’t Look Impressed Either!

After all the excesses of Boko Haram in Africa at least now the African Union is talking about coming together to do something positive about this group by forming a multi-national fighting force to go in and destroy them. I await the results.

The sad thing is, this should have happened when the true colours of this group became known. The same can be said for others like I.S., al Quada and the Taliban.

I believe part of the trouble is that people and governments all across the world have become so hardened to terrorism after all these years, that so long as it happens to other people in another country it is nothing more than a news item.  It is however a lot different when it happens in your own country as we saw in Paris a couple of weeks ago.

Victims Of The Baga Attack

Victims Of The Baga Attack

But did anyone in Paris and across the world think for a moment about the 2,000 Nigerians killed in the town of Baga in a senseless slaughter by Boko Haram during the same period. Not One! All eyes were on Paris because that one hit home.

Many nations across the world have suffered at the hands of these religious fanatics who seem to think that Islam will rule the world and are determined to do whatever is necessary to achieve this goal. The sheer barbarism of these people has been highlighted often enough during the public displays of I.S. when they beheaded people on world-wide television.

I have to ask (yet again) how long does the world plan to stand by and put up with these atrocities before someone decides that we must do something positive to stop this senseless bloodshed?

In previous posts I have asked why the United Nations is not taking action to stop this outrage. Is it not time these politicians got off their fat backsides and did something positive for world peace?

The Aims Of The United Nations - Some Joke!

The Aims Of The United Nations – Some Joke!

I am sure that if just one man had the balls to stand before the council and ask for volunteers from all nations to come together and strike at these people there would be volunteers enough.

There are some 27 countries world-wide that have, or are suffering attacks by Muslim extremists, and there have been 48 major terror attacks across the world from New York to the Philippines in the last twenty years.

The Spread Of Terrorism

The Spread Of Terrorism

Instead Of Parading Let Them Do Something Useful

Instead Of Parading Let Them Do Something Useful

Its not enough to say “Oh, it’s an Arab problem” and leave it at that, because now even Middle East countries are beginning to feel threatened by these terrorists. The I.S. leader has already been quoted as saying that attacks should begin in Saudi Arabia.

There will come a time when the whole Middle East will be embroiled in civil war if these people are allowed to continue. I am sure everyone will realize the grave danger of such a thing happening.

If You Are Not Going To Use Them For The Benefit Of The World Why Have Them?

If You Are Not Going To Use Them For The Benefit Of The World Why Have Them?

There can be little doubt that terrorism has become a world problem, and as such it must be dealt with by a coming together of military forces from all countries to defeat it before it gets any further. To continue ignoring the threat will only result in chaos, death and eventual subjugation of the people, for it is clear that groups such as I.S., Boko Haram etc. will not be satisfied once they achieve their goal of forming a Muslim state under their control, but will wish to spread outwards.

Rest assured that all countries ignore this threat at their peril, for it will not stop until all terrorist groups have been annihilated.

Forget Africa! Paris Is More Important?

Posted in Al Quada, America, Britain, European Union, Insurgents, Islamic Revolution, News, Nigeria, Terrorism, United Nations with tags , , , , on 11/01/2015 by floroy1942

The recent events in Paris have hit the headlines world-wide and caused mass outrage, but compared to what happened in Africa during the last few days, that event is minuscule.

Thousands Gather In Solidarity With Charlie Hebdo

Thousands Gather In Solidarity With Charlie Hebdo

In Paris seventeen people were killed during the terrorist action and that is terrible, but what if I tell you that an estimated 2,000 died in a Boko Haram atrocity in Nigeria last week.

The most shocking thing about the Nigerian incident is that it never hit the headlines, or even got mentioned in the press as all eyes turned to Paris, but there again, it was in Africa and it seems few people care what happens there! As tens of thousands of people gather for today’s Paris march, I’ll bet none of them even know about the massive loss of life in Nigeria.

Je Suis Charlie

Je Suis Charlie

I do not mean to belittle what happened in Paris for it was without doubt an outrage against good people, but we prefer to concentrate on the killing of a mere 17 people in Paris and do nothing about the thousands who died in Nigeria from this single terrorist attack. But there again, it’s only Africa!

The most horrifying part about the whole episode, is that the majority of victims were women, children and old people who could do nothing to defend themselves.

Murdered By Boko Haram

2,000 Murdered Indiscriminately By Boko Haram

It began on January 3rd when Boko Haram attacked and took over a military base in the north-east of Nigeria. From there they headed for the town of Baga and continued on into all the surrounding villages shooting indiscriminately as they went. The people ran in terror into the bush but were followed by the Boko Haram fighters. The entire area is littered with corpses and the definitive death toll will not be known for some time.

“The human carnage perpetrated by Boko Haram terrorists in Baga was enormous,” Muhammad Abba Gava, a spokesman for the poorly armed civilians of a defence group that fights Boko Haram. He added,  “No one could attend to the corpses and even the seriously injured ones who may have died by now.”

According to Amnesty International, reports from the town estimated that as many as 2,000 people were killed in this single attack. Daniel Eyre, Nigeria researcher for Amnesty International said, “This marks a disturbing and bloody escalation of Boko Haram’s ongoing onslaught,”

download (1)It is said that around 10,000 people were killed by the insurgents last year and this latest action is an indication that just as many, if not more, could be part of the body count by the end of 2015.

The really sad thing about this is that the Nigerian government seem completely unable to take the fight to the insurgents who rampage far and wide as they please. The Nigerian Army complains they do not have enough weapons or even ammunition to take on the terrorists, and are therefore all but powerless to stop them. It is clear the Nigerian Government does not have either the will or the means to stop them either.

These Islamic terrorists are on a killing spree, and not only is no-one doing anything to stop them, but there is no condemnation from other Muslims as we have witnessed for the attack in Paris.

Muslim Leaders Condemn Paris Attack

Muslim Leaders Condemn Paris Attack

Considering the number of Arab countries, institutions and people who have roundly condemned the high-profile Paris attack, nothing has been said by these same people against groups like Boko Haram committing genocide. Rather strange don’t you think!

Currently, Africa has the Ebola crisis and this merciless terror group, but the countries of the world are taking little or no notice of either. After all, it’s only Africa!

Ebola Crisis

Ebola Crisis

It is true that some concerned nations are helping with the Ebola crisis but there is no unilateral action in which all countries participate to relieve the suffering of the these people. There has certainly been no assistance in Nigeria to battle the terror of Boko Haram! So the people continue to die, but let’s face it, it’s only Africa.

As I have said before, and will continue to say, it is time for the United Nations to get off its fat backside and offer help to Africa in ridding it of the Ebola plague and groups like Boko Haram. An international effort sponsored by the U.N. could have ended the Ebola outbreak months ago but still volunteers from a few nations are struggling to cope. As for the insurgents, all voices have been silent on that score.

United Nations Fighting Force

United Nations Fighting Force

What is wrong with the U.N. getting together an international force to go into Nigeria and wipe out these terrorists once and for all? Don’t bother arresting and putting them on trial, just kill them all where they stand until there is not one of them left.

A united world front against these terrorists would send a strong message to the likes of al Quada and Islamic State that we, the people of the world, will not stand for their terror tactics.

If such a thing happened in Europe, the United States, or any other western nation there would be an immediate military response, but no, here it’s not necessary because its only Africa, and that’s very sad.

ISIS Now In North Africa

Posted in America, Britain, European Union, Insurgents, Islamic Revolution, News, Religion, Spain, Terrorism, United Nations with tags , , , , on 17/08/2014 by floroy1942

ISIS is still operating in Iraq and Syria, but now they have landed on the Mediterranean shores in Morocco. A local news item shows that nine members of ISIS have been arrested by Moroccan Police in the cities of Fes, Tetouan and Fnideq.

Morocco - Loved By Tourists

Morocco – Loved By Tourists

In all three cities the insurgents were working to recruit new members to their cause who would be sent to fight in Iraq and Syria. It is reported that some of the group also visited Cueta, one of two Spanish colonies on the North African coast. To date, Morocco has seen little or no insurgent activity compared to other North and Central African countries like Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Nigeria, Somalia or Kenya for example.

ISIS Fighters in Morocco

ISIS Fighters in Morocco

By working together, the Spanish and Moroccan authorities have found evidence that attacks were planned on Moroccan soil in the near future, and who is to say they would not eventually have spilled over into Europe.

From the evidence there can be little doubt that ISIS is spreading its influence among the Muslim people. As with other insurgent groups, its about converting as many young Muslims to their cause as possible.

Impressionable Muslim youth in many countries have been persuaded to go and fight in Iraq or Syria for the insurgents, even from European countries, so it is no big surprise they have begun a similar campaign in North African states.

The Dream of ISIS

The Dream of ISIS

Whether we like it of not, the Islamic insurgency has spread rapidly across the world, and without international cooperation there will be little we can do to stop it. Who would have expected Chinese Muslims to begin a campaign of violence with the view to over-throwing the government. China, with its authoritarian control would be the last country you would expect a Muslim insurgency, but it now exists, such are the changing times.

For the last twenty years the world has suffered upheaval and tens of thousands of deaths because of Muslims who believe the entire world must become Muslim. It is an impossible dream, but so long as clerics continue to preach their message of hate against ‘infidels’ in the mosques it will never change.

ISIS Mass Execution - For Wearing Football Shirts

ISIS Mass Execution – For Wearing Football Shirts

I for one find it sad that the United Nations can only think of putting useless embargo’s on terrorist groups instead of making plans for an international effort to wipe them out. What have they done to rescue the 300 girls kidnapped in Nigeria?

They ‘condemned’ the action, expressed their ‘horror’, then imposed arms and economic sanctions on the group, as if that would have any influence on them operating. Does the U.N. think that Boko Haram go to the local supermarket to buy arms, and that all their money is in an account at the local bank labelled ‘Boko Haram’? Its pathetic.

I have said many times before that the only way to stop this insurrection is to form a United Nations Army with representation from every country to root out these people in whatever country and to annihilate them. Only then will the world be able to live in peace again.

Ah well, one can only hope that eventually the politicians get off their fat backsides and start taking some positive and worthwhile action against this vermin. I live in hope!

No More Lollipops For Boko Haram

Posted in Al Quada, America, Britain, Christianity, Islamic Revolution, News, Nigeria, Sharia Law, Terrorists, United Nations with tags , , , , on 23/05/2014 by floroy1942
Abubakar Shekau - Boko Haram Leader

Abubakar Shekau – Boko Haram Leader

It looks like the good days are over for the Nigerian Terrorist group Boko Haram. The next time their leader, Abubakar Shekau, goes to the local bank to withdraw some cash for his men he will be disappointed. He may also have trouble if he places an order with Amazon for a fresh supply of AK 47’s.

Boko Haram hit the headlines after they kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls last month, and this huge blow came from the world’s highest international body, i.e. the United Nations, who have slapped sanctions on the group for its association with al Quada.

Nigeria's Kidnapped Girls

Nigeria’s Kidnapped Girls

Now, if you are cynical of such a move as I am you will wonder how this will affect the terrorist group. The sanctions are an arms embargo and asset freeze, so I guess all this just goes to show how absurd the United Nations can be in times of crisis. It took five weeks after the kidnapping of the the Nigerian schoolgirls by Boko Haram for them to do anything about it.

Samantha Powers - United States UN Representative

Samantha Powers – United States UN Representative

Samantha Powers, the United States UN Envoy stated: “Today, the Security Council took an important step in support of the government of Nigeria’s efforts to defeat Boko Haram and hold its murderous leadership accountable for atrocities.” Wow! Well in that case Boko Haram’s days must certainly be numbered (I don’t think!).

Burnt Out School

Burnt Out School

I for one would like to know what effect these sanctions are likely to have on a terrorist group that hides in the jungles of Africa. It’s not as if they drop by the local weapons shop to buy new guns, or make regular trips to the bank for cash now is it? All weapons come from illegal arms sellers, and what makes people think their bank account is labelled ‘Boko Haram’? These are the kind of people who raid a town or village and take what they need, and all the embargo’s in the world are not going to affect them much. The only thing that may be upsetting is they will no longer be able to buy lollipops for the schoolgirl hostages in the local village.

According to envoy Powers, “The sanctions designation would help close off important avenues of funding, travel and weapons to the group.” It is interesting to note that analysts have said it is difficult to say what practical effect the move will have. Well in my analysis, I would say none.

A Less Gruesome Atrocity By Boko Haram.

A Less Gruesome Atrocity By Boko Haram.

I certainly do not expect Boko Haram to walk out of the bush in a week or two with their hands held high as they surrender to Nigerian troops because they are stricken by the sanctions.

The group have been responsible for the deaths of thousands of people in Nigeria since 2009 in their efforts to turn the country into a Muslim State complete with Sharia Law, even though by far the greater majority of Nigerians are Christian. Most of their attacks have been in the Muslim northwest of the country, although many have been made in central Nigeria.

Oil Production In Nigeria

Oil Production In Nigeria

Part of the problem is that the country is one of the richest in Africa because of its oil production, but sadly, little of that wealth has trickled down to the people outside the southwest oil-producing areas. There can be no doubt that President Goodluck Jonathan and his government are largely responsible for this fact as he has not made sure the wealth has been spread across the country to improve the lives of all the country’s inhabitants.

Where people in the oil rich areas are living the high-life, the great majority of the population still live in squalor and that is unacceptable by anyone’s standards. But this does not detract from the fact that Boko Haram is trying to turn the country into an Islamic State.

Nigerian President

Nigerian President

Since the abduction of the 200 plus schoolgirls, the group have remained firmly in the world headlines as people wait to see what steps will be taken to get them back. In my view, the efforts of the Nigerian Army have been far from satisfactory, but there again, they lack good leadership and a proper plan of action. President Goodluck Jonathan appears to be ‘sitting on the fence’ and incapable of taking any positive action on this problem.

Despite the idiotic approach of the UN with its useless sanctions, which I believe is nothing more than a political move to stave off criticism of their failure to do anything positive. The answer must be, ‘boots on the ground‘ to coin an American phrase.

Boots On The Ground - The Only Way!

Boots On The Ground – The Only Way!

The only way to stamp out this terror group is to have a large international force sweep the area and kill every terrorist they come across. It will be imperative to have the cooperation of surrounding countries like Niger, Chad and Cameroon to make sure they cannot escape over the border to another country like the Taliban do in Pakistan. With one large-scale multinational military action we can rid the world of this group.

Until now the countries of the world have been no more than nibbling at the edges of this type of problem and it is not going away. The Joint American and British actions in Afghanistan are ample evidence of this, for after all these years the Taliban is still as strong as ever.

Insurgents In Africa

Insurgents In Africa

Decisive multinational action in every country that houses Muslim terrorists is the only answer. Unless they are roundly beaten, and the Muslim world learns that the free world will not stand for this type of action, the problems will persist forever, for it is clear their one aim is Muslim domination of the world.

May your wife never have to wear a burka!
