Why Would I Distrust Muslims Baroness Warsi?

Baroness Warsi - A Misguided Woman

Baroness Warsi – A Misguided Woman

Baroness Warsi, a Muslim who quit her post in David  Cameron’s government last year, has claimed that the Muslim population in Britain are not trusted by the British population. She claims there is a government tendency to view them with suspicion, coupled with a lack of trust. She has strongly criticised a policy of ‘non-engagement’ with the 3 million strong Muslim community.

Ed Pickles

She complained about a letter sent by Communities Secretary Eric Pickles to all Muslim mosques across England earlier this month, urging Muslim leaders to do more to root out extremism and prevent young people becoming radicalized in the wake of the Paris terror attacks. Many Muslims claimed the letter was  “patronising and factually incorrect”, and gave the idea that Muslims and Islam are inherently apart from British society.

Baroness Warsi complained there had been almost six years of non-engagement, both by the previous Labour Government and now the coalition. She said, “The reaction to the Pickles letter underlines what I consistently argued for in government – that it was important for us to engage with a broad range of groups and individuals who purported to speak for the British Muslim community, while accepting that, inevitably, some didn’t do it very well. It’s no surprise there is a trust deficit, a questioning of motive to a letter sent with the best of intentions. For too many, the hand of friendship felt like an admonitory finger that was once again pointing at Britain’s Muslims.”

Now I wonder where she got that idea from? I just hope she can answer the following questions for me:

1. Who was it that bombed the World Trade Centre on 9th of November 2001?

2. Who was it that bombed Madrid on March 11th 2004?

3. Who was it that bombed London on June 7th 2005?

4. Who was it that murdered Lee Rigby on the streets of London on 22nd May 2013?

5. Who was it that beheaded several hostages and broadcast it world wide?

6. Who was it that murdered 17 people in Paris on 7th January 2015?

7. Who is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Muslims over the last ten years?

8. Who is responsible for sending hundreds of innocent Muslim teenagers to Syria and Iraq to fight for the Islamic State terrorists?

If you can answer these questions Baroness, I will agree with you.

Given the questions I have put above is it any wonder there is distrust of Muslims in not only our country, but all across Europe and the United States?

Thankfully Not Typical

Thankfully Not Typical

Is it any wonder that the British people distrust Muslims in our country when so many refuse to integrate, learn the language, respect our traditions and culture, and become proper British citizens? Why are there so many imams in mosques who preach nothing but hatred for the people of their adopted country? Why do we not see good Muslims standing up and condemning the activities of these hate mongers?

Typical Muslim Demonstration

Typical Muslim Demonstration

Daily we see on our streets the Muslim mobs with placards proclaiming that ‘Islam Will Rule the World’ or ‘Death to the Infidel’! Would you trust or engage with such people? We have had Muslims hurling insults at the funerals of our soldiers who have fallen in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban and al Quada to give the Afghan people freedom.

Integrated Muslims

Integrated Muslims

I am well aware that many Muslims who live in Britain have to a certain extent become respected parts of the community, but how on earth can anyone trust those who come to our country as immigrants and refugees, and try to undermine the British way of life. There are those who wish to destroy everything that Britain stands for, and values that have stood the test of time for a more than a thousand years.

Message From Muslim Imams

Message From Muslim Imams

All across the world Muslim terrorist groups are killing people indiscriminately, like Boko Haram who ten days ago slaughtered 2,000 Nigerians just for the hell of it! In India, Pakistan Malaysia, Thailand and many other Far Eastern countries, Muslims are attacking and killing Christian people just because they are not Muslim. It will take an international effort to wipe out these terrorist groups one by one until there are none left. Then maybe the world can get back to living in peace.

It seems to me Baroness that you are asking the wrong people this question, you should be asking your own people why they do not wish to become a thoroughly integrated part of British society!

Now The Government Denies The Right To Wear The Cross

Posted in Britain, Christianity, England, Government, Human Rights, Immigrants, Justice, Religion, UK with tags , , , , on 12/03/2012 by floroy1942

I find it truly amazing that the British Government is getting involved in the issue of Christians who wear a cross around their necks. Two women have taken their cases to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) because they were denied the right to wear a cross at work.

Nadia Eweida was suspended by British Airways for breaching the dress code by wearing a cross visible over her uniform in 2006, and nurse Shirley Chaplin was barred from working on the wards of the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust because she refused to hide the cross she wore on a chain. The lawyers for the two women claim protection under Article Nine of The Human Rights Act, but now the government has stepped in and said the argument is invalid. Why the government is getting involved in such a case is strange.

Archbishop Dr John Sentamu

Archbishop Dr John Sentamu, Bishop of York has now stepped into the row saying, “If someone wanted to manifest their belief as a Christian that they wanted to wear a cross – after all at their baptism they are sealed with a cross of Christ – so if they decided to say ‘I know I am sealed with it, but I am going to wear it’, I think that is a matter really for people and that we should allow it. The government should not raise the bar so high that in the end they are now being unjust.”

Personally, I hoped that the persecution of Christians in a Christian country would have ended with the demise of the previous Labour government, but it seems the Human Rights Brigade still hold sway in many areas. This attitude of “not upsetting the Muslims” should have died with Labour rule, but it seems, sadly, that is not so.

People have been wearing crosses in this nation since biblical times, but suddenly we get a mass influx of Muslims and some people consider that an excuse to start marginalizing the Christian faith! It’s astounding!

Sometimes I would like to peek inside the mind of these perverted idiots just to see what makes them tick. What is it that turns an ordinary English man or woman into such a force of animosity against their own kind with their ‘holier than thou’ attitude?

Not Neccesarily a Show of Faith

They have been responsible in the past for the stupid outlawing of children’s nursery rhymes, the word ‘blackboard’ in schools among other things, and now they want to ban the cross in a Christian country? Its obscene! I would like to know by what right this small group of people are allowed to dictate so much about people’s lives. So far as I am concerned, if they don’t like the word ‘black’ let them live in Africa, and if they don’t want to upset the Muslims they should move to Iran.

It is without doubt time the government squashed these people like a bug instead of siding with them.

I have commented on Baroness Warsi in the past, but I have to hand it to her for what she said a few weeks ago; Christians – Stand up for your faith! As a Muslim Minister she recognised that Christians are being marginalized in Britain. She said it was not a requirement of the religious minorities for Christianity to be ‘erased’ for them to feel comfortable.

Baroness Warsi

In a speech at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in Rome she said:  “People need to feel stronger in their religious identities, more confident in their beliefs. In practice this means individuals not diluting their faiths…..and nations not denying their religious  heritages. If you take this thought to its conclusion then the idea you’re left with is this: Europe needs to become more confident in its Christianity. Too often there is a suspicion of faith in our continent. It all hinges on a basic misconception: That to create equality and space for minorities we need to erase our religious heritage.”

I for one take my hat off to her, for what she said is right on the button. It is a problem in many European countries, but far worse in Britain because of the general apathy. It is long past time when the British people stand up and be counted, so, Christain or not, go out and buy a cheap cross and wear it in a show of defiance. We need to stand up to these people and reassert our rights to our religion and our way of life, and let everyone know THIS IS OUR COUNTRY!

Baroness Warsi On the Wrong Foot

It is not unusual for people in a position of power to make ill-advised statements aimed at the general public, and it would seem Baroness Warsi, co-leader of the Conservative Party and cabinet minister in Davis Cameron’s Coalition government, is no exception.

Baroness Warsi

She is the first Muslim member of the cabinet, and like most politicians, has ‘engaged mouth before brain’ on a subject extremely controversial in Britain at the moment; that of Islamophobia.

Extracts of a speech she intends giving to Leicester University today (20/1/2011) were leaked to the press in advance and have already raised a storm of criticism across most newspapers in the country.

The rank and file have certainly let loose in no uncertain terms in comments on the news story. Not only as a leading politician, but also as a Muslim she seems totally out of touch with public opinion. This, lets face it, is not unusual for a politician!

In her speech she claims that Islamophobia, and the separation of Muslims into two general groups, i.e., moderate and extremist, has become socially acceptable in Britain today and could lead to the further alienation of the Muslim community. What else did the silly woman expect when we’ve had terrorism on the streets?

A Suitcase Nuclear Weapon

Western nations have increasingly come under attack from Muslim terror groups ever since 9/11. Many people are holding their collective breath hoping Bin Laden and his cronies don’t get hold of a nuclear weapon!

The very fact that people put Muslims into two categories shows clearly not all Muslims are blamed for the violence aimed at them.

Despite what she says, there is widespread apathy among Muslim communities in Britain when it comes to condemning terrorism. I have not yet heard of any group in any country stepping forward and condemning in the strongest terms the violence committed by their brethren, and what is more, I don’t think I ever will. This point was raised by many commentators on the report in The Daily Telegraph.

In most peoples minds, if you don’t condemn a certain action, then by default you condone it. It is to the Baroness’s credit that in the proposed speech, she asks moderate Muslim groups to disassociate themselves from extremist Muslims saying; “Those who commit criminal acts of terrorism in our country need to be dealt with not just by the full force of the law,” adding “They also should face social rejection and alienation across society and their acts must not be used as an opportunity to tar all Muslims.” At least she got one thing right!

Baroness Warsi has proven by this outburst, that she has failed completely to understand the concerns the british people have over the massive Muslim immigration that took place under that last Labour government.

In 2001 there were 1.6 million Muslims in the country, which today has risen to 2.9 million, an increase of almost 100%. Thanks Tony!!!!

She Has At Least Learnt One Of Our Traditions!

The main thing that irritates the british public is the refusal of the majority of these immigrants to assimilate into our society. When you adopt a new country as your own you are expected, quite rightly, to obey the laws and accept the culture, traditions and language of your new home. You do NOT bring with you your own laws, culture and traditions and force them on your hosts.

Daily we hear of the so-called ‘hate preachers’ in mosques who make full use of the liberal free speech laws of our country to spread their poison across the community.

It has been amply proven that many races such as Jews, Indians and former members of the Caribbean nations who moved to Britain for a better life, have assimilated into our ways practically trouble free, for the simple reason they are prepared to. This cannot be said of the Muslim population, for they have housed themselves in close-knit communities and practically sealed themselves off from the british way of life.

They have their own system of laws (Sharia), and continue with traditions like polygamy, ‘honour’ killings’, and the mutilation of young girls genitalia. The Baroness has been condescending enough to admit some british Muslims do not do sufficient to integrate into society, which I think is an in-controversial fact!

Although now a member of the House of Lords, Baroness Warsi classes herself as a “Northern, working-class roots, urban, working mum” complete with Yorkshire accent, but, according to reports, received her title for one reason only, so she could serve in the shadow cabinet during the Labour years. She didn’t earn it!

Cameron and Baroness Warsi

After entering politics in 2004, she made a rapid rise through the ranks of the Conservative Party, mainly it seems because David Cameron liked her ‘plain speaking’, although some think she is too prone to making ‘gaffe’s’. Since May she has been a member of the cabinet.

Apparently, according to some reports, she has been heavily criticised by many extremist Muslims as not being “religious enough”. This I suppose could be interpreted as her not doing sufficient to help the Muslims get their own way!

As the most powerful Muslim woman in the country, why for example doesn’t she lead a concerted attack on all the hate preachers who infest the mosques of our land. These parasites incite hatred among the Muslim population for Britain and all it stands for. They have been responsible for the conversion of many formally moderate youths into extremists, that are not only responsible for many of the attacks on innocent people, but fight for the Taliban or Al Queda. If Baroness, you wish to use your position for something positive, that would be a good start.

If You Don’t Like It Here – GO HOME!

It would also be of considerable help if you would clear the streets of the extremist rabble who, making full use of our freedom of speech laws,  insult our dead soldiers who died fighting to free the Iraqi and Afghanistan people from the oppressive regime under which they lived, And lets not forget those malcontents who parade up and down with placards declaring ‘Islam will rule the world’ and “Behead those who insult Islam”.

In general terms, your speech is nothing less than I would expect from a Muslim living in our country. Instead of criticising this country and its people who gave you the opportunity to be where you are, try having a go at your own, that is of course presuming you can do that without ending up under a sentence of death from the extremists!!!

In conclusion I would like to point out most strongly, that any Muslim who comes to our shores ready and willing to accept our way of life, traditions and laws is, in my book, most welcome. On the other hand, those who will not should GO HOME!

Roy.
