Time For A Crackdown On Crime

Posted in America, Britain, England, European Union, Government, Immigrants, News, Police, Prison, Theft with tags , , , , on 22/07/2017 by floroy1942

Crime in the U.K. has gotten totally out of hand, and its time for the government to do something about it. Our Police Force has reached its lowest level since 1985 and they are so stretched they do not have the time to investigate crime as they should.

The number of murders, attacks and burglaries have gone through the roof in recent years because the perpetrators know they will not be punished properly. Killers are out of prison after three or four years, and that is not a proper sentence for someone who has committed murder.

Currently we have a twenty percent increase in gun and knife crime. The murder rate has increased to 723 crimes in the last few years. Last year, gun related offences rose by 23 percent, while knife crime spiked at 20 percent with 34,703 incidents. An increase in the number of robberies at knife point was also documented, with the figure rising to nearly 13,000 incidents.

It is clear that people are not safe on the streets or in their own homes these days. Much of the crime is being carried out by immigrants who see Britain as a golden opportunity. They know the Justice System is a farce, and look forward to no more than three or four years in prison for committing murder or 12 months for robbery.

The number of police officers on our streets is continuing  to fall. Last year the numbers fell by 924, bringing the total number of police officers to 123, 142 in England and Wales.

Many people have been told that burglaries and street attacks will not be investigated, because the police do not have the time or resources to investigate properly. This is a scandal of major proportions and must be addressed by the government, otherwise we will end up with complete anarchy.

It is shameful that the British government allow so many criminals to enter Britain freely from other European countries. It is time we check with the country they came from to see if they have a criminal record, and if they do then we bar them from entering the country.

Once we get out of the European Union I sincerely hope that the government will initiate a crackdown on crime of all types and ensure that these people get a proper prison sentence. For killers we must bring back the death penalty and to hell with those who oppose it. This is the only way to crack down on murders, for you can bet your life that the numbers will decline rapidly if the death penalty is reintroduced.

It is time we took some strong measures against crime, otherwise the whole country will fall into a pit of anarchy.

The Menace Of Tax Havens

Posted in America, Britain, European Union, Germany, Modern World, News, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Theft, USA with tags , , , , on 17/11/2016 by floroy1942

I read an article on Yahoo today that says all tax havens should be quarantined. That I certainly agree with! While you and I try as best we can to make enough money to live on, the rich are hiding away their ill-gotten gains in tax havens so they don’t have to pay tax. This has an astounding affect on all of us.

The gist of the article says that all tax havens should be cut off from the global financial system. “They call for making it illegal for anyone in cooperative countries to have an account in a non-cooperative jurisdiction, or for someone in a cooperating country to be a shareholder in a corporation in a non-cooperative one.”

This means that it would be illegal for people to stow away money in a country or system that is not open to the world of finance. All these areas must be open to outside scrutiny and in effect, global auditors must be able to scrutinize all bank accounts wherever they are.

This idea of hiding away trillions of dollars from the tax people in any country in the world is a scandal, for if these politicians and businessmen paid the taxes that were due, most of the world’s monetary problems would be solved.

These billions of dollars could be used to aid the poorer countries of the world, feed those dying of hunger, and solve the sickness that is so prevalent in many countries in the world. Without a doubt, it could be used to solve the major debt problems across the world.

The sad thing is, these ultra-rich people just let it lie there in these accounts and never think of doing some good with their money. There are exceptions of course like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet who use their billions to do good in the world, its just a pity that all the ultra-rich do not think the same. Most of these people have more money than they could spend in three lifetimes, but they prefer to hide it away and do nothing with it. The phrase “It’s all mine, mine, mine!” comes to mind. It’s more about bucking the system and being able to brag about the fact that they are billionaire’s.

I have for a long time advocated that all these multi-billionaires should pay taxes on their often ill-gotten gains and do some good with it, but will it ever happen? There is a slim hope now that all these people will be caught with their ill-gotten gains if this plan goes ahead. Let’s hope it does.

Car Recall Scandal

Posted in America, Britain, England, European Union, Germany, Modern World, News, People's Rights, Theft, Traffic with tags , , , , on 13/10/2016 by floroy1942

Car manufacturers are failing their customers in a steady stream these days, as we see today that Toyota recalls some 340,000 brand new Prius Hybrid cars for problems with the brakes. This is one of a long stream of recalls over the past five years from almost every manufacturer on the planet. Volkswagen, Ford, Citroen and General Motors among many others have had to recall vehicles because of major faults.

Why is this happening? Years ago you could trust a new car to be totally safe and reliable, but now? What is it with these manufacturers that cause this?

In my view it is cost cutting to make more profit, but it is having the reverse effect as the repairs are costing these companies millions. People are spending a huge amount of money to buy a new car, and yet each time it is a lottery whether the car will be recalled at some future date because of a major problem, if it doesn’t kill you first.

Because of these problems people are dying, and it’s not always certain that their relatives get any compensation from the companies involved.

Years ago you could buy anything from a screwdriver to a car and know that it will last you for years, but these days manufacturers like to build in a ‘life limit’ on things produced today. That of course ensures that within a certain period you will be forced to go out and buy a new one. More money for them!

It is without doubt a sad indictment of our times when manufacturers only think of profit and never quality. But let’s face it, almost everyone is at it these days.

Religion Is Dying In Britain

Posted in America, Britain, Christianity, England, Justice, News, Parenting, Prison, Teen Violence, Theft with tags , , , , on 24/05/2016 by floroy1942

ChurchIt seems that Britain is to become a non-religious country in a few short decades. A report out today indicates that the number of people who consider themselves to have no religion is increasing at a steady rate.

In 2014 a survey showed that 48.5% claimed they had no religion compared to 43.8% who said they had. The 43.8% included Anglicans, Catholics and other denominations. So it would seem that religion is dying in the U.K.

Mind you, I am not surprised considering the state of today’s middle-aged people and in particular the youth. In general, few people in the country today think of anything but ‘self’, which is sad. Yes I know there are those who care for others, but today they are becoming a minority.

Life-long friends like we had when I was young are a thing of the past, for today friends come and go like the wind.

Yet Another Murder - How Many This Month?

Yet Another Murder – How Many This Month?

Never in the history of our country has there been such brutality among the people, and I say this because of the number of brutal murders, rape and robberies that happen today. Hell’s bells, you can’t even have a slight accident today without the driver of the car you touched getting out and beating you up. Just think about it and you will know I am right, at least the old people will.

At one time the greatest majority of people were held in check by their religion and would not think of committing robberies or murder, but today they think nothing of it. “Oh what do I care. I will only get a couple of years in prison if I am caught.”

When they kill an old-age pensioner for a few pounds they have no remorse at all, or when they seriously injure someone in a street brawl on a Saturday night.

When all today’s old-age pensioners are dead, religion will die in Britain along with them. We will see all our churches closed down and more than likely turned into mosques. Now there’s a thought! All our church clergy and bishops will be lining up at the dole office for their weekly handout.

You might be forgiven for thinking that religion has no place in today’s world, but you would be wrong. Religion has for centuries given people a set of standards to live by, being kind to others, helping others, and caring about those who are less fortunate than themselves. I am not saying that everyone lived by these rules, but the greater majority did.

Prison Today - Like A Holiday

Prison Today – Like A Holiday

When I was young there were very few murders in the country and the killers were hung for their crimes. Now-a-days they get off with a few short years in a prison that is like a holiday camp with all the mod-cons. I much preferred the old system that put the fear of God into any would-be killer.

It is a sad situation, but is something we have to accept for the future.

The Off-Shore Accounts Scandal

See What I Mean!

See What I Mean!

Like everyone else I was shocked at the leak of offshore account details by Panama, but to be honest, it did not surprise me. We have known for years that many rich people have hidden their money in these accounts, and of course many do it to avoid paying taxes.

But now the ‘cat is out of the bag’ and they are sitting with red faces because their wealth has become public. We have heard denials from various individuals about the fact that they have not been avoiding paying taxes on their wealth and it may be true is some cases, but certainly not all.

The big question though is what to do about it! In my view all these tax havens should be wound up and made illegal, but the problem is, those that must do it are the ones hiding money away i.e. politicians.

There can be little doubt that a way must be found to stop this practice. Maybe the United Nations can set a law that these places must declare all their customers, and how much each account holds. Again this is not likely to happen.

The problem is that those avoiding tax revenue could probably put an end to the financial crises of many countries in the world. Imagine if those resident in Greece were to pay all the taxes they owed to the government, then that country’s financial crisis would disappear, the same goes for many other lands, including Britain.

The amount owed by these people must run into trillions of dollars and could solve many of the hardships being suffered by people across the world.

What good will come of this whole farce I don’t really know, but for the good of many countries someone, somewhere must put a stop to it. Let’s just hope the authorities in various countries go after these people.

Outrageous Salaries For Charity Bosses

Posted in America, Britain, Canada, England, Haiti, Modern World, News, Theft, UK, USA with tags , , , , on 12/10/2015 by floroy1942

When the charity boxes rattle in front of you and you are asked for a donation it might be wise to think twice these days. It has been revealed that charity organization bosses are earning six-figure salaries from the money that you give to help others, and to me that is not right.

Helping Others

Helping Others

People give donations thinking that the money goes to help those who are suffering, but much of it is siphoned off to pay these bosses exorbitant salaries among other things. It is sad that charities are now a business just like any other and a way to make money, instead of being a scheme to help those afflicted with terrible illnesses, people in Africa who are starving, and those struck by natural disasters.

Harpal Kumar - Laughing All The Way To The Bank!

Harpal Kumar – Laughing All The Way To The Bank!

It has been revealed that nine executives at Cancer Research UK receive an annual salary higher than that of the Prime Minister, which includes chief executive Harpal Kumar who pockets up to £240,000 a year. He lives in a luxury £1.6m home in north-west London with no mortgage.

Another such person is Peter Wanless, CEO of the NSPCC, who earns £162,000 per year – £40,000 more than his predecessor Andrew Flanagan.

Olive Cooke, 92

Olive Cooke, 92

These are two of many charities that bombarded Olive Cooke, 92, herself a charity worker, with requests for money before she killed herself last month in sheer desperation. Personally I think that people who make a living from those who donate money for good causes is despicable.

While I do not deny that these organizations do give help to the needy, they are not as effective as in years gone by, and much of the money does not get where it’s needed. In very many cases people give generously thinking the money goes to help such people, but these days they are often having ‘the wool pulled over their eyes’ as the saying goes. While those doing the collecting and working in the local offices are unpaid, there are people who make a good living from charity work.

Haiti 2010 - Utter Devastation.

Haiti 2010 – Utter Devastation.

There is much wrong with charity organizations today as was evidenced by the scandals that barely made the headlines a year after the Haiti earthquake five years ago which killed more than 230,000 people and injured over 300,000. It also caused 1.5 million people to be displaced. In all $13.34 billion were donated by governments worldwide and by charity organizations. Governments and charity organizations were quick to step in after the capital Port Au Prince was flattened, but over time much of the aid money never materialized. Two years after the catastrophic event very little of the debris had been cleared and the people were still living in cardboard shelters. So much for many of the charitable donations!

It has been shown that many charities collected millions world-wide for this disaster but eventually much of the money so generously donated was siphoned off and put in bank accounts to accrue interest instead of going to the people who desperately needed it. The entire idea of charity work is a long way from what it was forty years ago, which is sad.

The Baby Factory On Benefits

Posted in Benefits, Britain, Children, Elections, England, Government Spending, Justice, News, Parenting, Theft with tags , , , , on 17/03/2015 by floroy1942

Some people will do just about anything to live the high life without having to work for a living in this day and age. That is the reason why I was not surprised to hear of a women who is making  £39,192 a year in benefits just by having children. Cheryl Prudham currently has eleven with another on the way. Her husband works as a delivery man with an annual salary of £19,200, so this means the family income is £58,392.

Prudham Family Shopping

Prudham Family Shopping

It is reported they went on holiday to Menorca last year that cost the tax payer £7,000, but that is not all. The family were recently photographed shopping at a luxury goods store where it is said she bought a handbag for £895, not the sort of thing your average wife could afford. They even had the gall to be photographed in front of the store and stood proudly posing for the camera. Some people have no shame these days.

The Prudham's

The Prudham’s

They are currently living in a five-bedroom council house but are waiting to get one with seven bedrooms because the current one is too cramped. The family have managed to avoid the Government’s £26,000-a-year benefits cap because Mr Prudham works enough hours to claim working tax credit.

There are millions of people in Britain today who can barely make ends meet, and yet these benefit fraudsters are living the high life by cheating the tax payer. This to me is scandalous and means that the rules desperately need to be changed.

Headlines - But Not Enough To Spur The Government Into AcTion

Headlines – But Not Enough To Spur The Government Into AcTion

This kind of thing is happening all over Britain today and is bleeding the coffers dry, because the rules are too lax and these free-loaders soon find out they can have a good life without even having to work for it.

There are without doubt many such cases in the U.K. today, for we are deep into a period where everyone expects something for nothing. In fact many believe it is their God-given right, and being a ‘benefit cheat’ has become a way of life for many. This covers all areas of benefits from those who will not work to those with disabilities. The days of everyone ‘doing their bit’ for the good of the nation and their families are long gone, and we are a sadder nation because of it.

Britain’s Debt Mountain Reaches £1.39TRILLION, Equivalent To 90% Of The Entire Economy.

Britain’s Debt Mountain Reaches £1.39TRILLION, Equivalent To 90% Of The Entire Economy.

The gap between the ‘have’s and have not’s’ is increasing year on year and we blame corruption at the higher levels for this. But when you look at the facts, many of those at the lower levels are no different. Ever since the last Labour government came into power Britain’s debt has steadily increased and it will never be put right so long as the current generation constantly expect something for nothing.

Come the election in May, I hope whoever gets in will put a stop to this blatant fraud. Mind you, I am not holding my breath on that one!
